Yesterday we discovered our main water pipe coming into the house was leaking water badly from inside the foundation wall into our basement crawl space. I called Nicholas and he returned my call within minutes and came over about an hour later on a Saturday night. This morning he brought a crew with a backhoe and excavated a hole about 7' deep, removed the leaking pipe, replaced it, backfilled the hole and finished by 1 pm. So we were only without water for about 17 hours. I highly recommend Gold Leaf, especially if you have an emergency plumbing problem.

I had two leaks in different areas start on Sunday afternoon, one resulting in pipe replacement and another requiring drain cleaning. Victor arrived at the very beginning of my given time frame. He immediately did a diagnostic test on why my furnace wasn’t working. When he found out why he gave a lot of details as to what should be happening but wasn’t. I feel very confident this will solve a problem that’s been happening for the last 5 months. Proactive Sewer and Drain were awesome to work with. I had a break in my sewer line that I needed to get fixed. Not only was Proactive able to give me a fair and reasonable quote (that was $2k under what other companies gave me for a smaller fix), but they also were upfront with me as to what the cost would be if I ended up having to replace the entire sewer line (as opposed to other companies that purposely left that open ended).

Taking one star away because the pricing seems unreasonable. $450 for 10 minutes to install a thermostat that I provided? I think that’s a little ridiculous. And $250 to replace a swamp cooler belt that costs $9 and takes 5 minutes to install?The reason I still give it 4 stars is because the technician, Riley, did a great job. Very nice guy, knowledgeable, respectful, and worked through our very strange electrical wiring to solve the problem without charging me even more than he could have. 5 stars for Riley.Overall, they got the job done and even came out on the weekend on short notice which is much appreciated, just the pricing that needs to be looked at. If it was more reasonable I think I would have gotten a few more services done that need resolving.

Asked to repair a leak in my tub and the leak wasn’t fixed, “plumber” also couldn’t find the water pipe to shut the water and I told him to come back another day so I could ask management to show me exactly where the pipe was and he insisted he could find it and ended up not fixing the leak and destroying the framing around my house on top of not fixing my leak . Charge me 50 just to damage my home even more even gave him $10 tip just to end up with more damages to fix now !

Tech quickly troubleshot my problem, clearly explained to me what needed to be done and why, as well as the total cost, which was extremely reasonable. He then cleared the drain completely with no mess. I had dreaded calling anyone before but I now will only use Elite and I will confidently refer them to my family and friends.

Worst experience ever. Tried to hire them and the lady who said she was the owner, Mrs. Watkins, hung up on me, called me back 3 times and hung up on me over and over. Not very professional when I'm trying to give them business.
