Best Duct Repair in Dallas TX

Cody has done plumbing repairs for us before, and they've done a great job. This is definitely not the main thrust of their business any longer. The work done was substandard. For a bathtub with a frozen valve, not only was the work I requested not done, in fact I was told I didn't need it done, and could have a less expensive fix. This fix did not work. They left me with two leaking pipes which had not been leaking previously. They had to dismantle my sink because, they said, a quarter was wedged in it. It was put back together badly, and the bowl is now unstable and wobbles. I'm so disappointed.

This is a multigeneration family owned business and while I read the negative reviews from a few years ago, every time I have called them they have come quickly and fixed the AC or plumbing problem quickly. I began using them to fix what another ac guy did when he taped insulation around one of my pipes. Well it wasn't to the standards of the Dallas guy and he redid it free of charge.

They came out for a quote and were super nice and professional. Would use again.

I had this bad experience. They inspected our AC unit as part of the yearly inspection routine. In the process they broke the control unit connector that goes to the the nest thermostat . so the nest thermostat is not able to detected the 24V. When they diagnose the issue, they propose changing the whole wiring of the system that can cause thousands of $ and digging into the wall in the play room and the celings. I got another company to look at this issue of course, because the unit is working fine for 10 years with no issue and after inspection now the wiring system is broken (rises some questions to me?!!) . The new company were able to find the issue in 5 minutes. they did some voltage measurements and look at the control units and found the connector is broken. They replace the control unit for 100$, the issue solved. Sometimes when we work we make mistakes and we broke thing in the process, i have no hard feeling over that, we are humen after all. but what makes me unhappy is the fact that they did not do their home work to look at the real issue and prpose very extreme solution that may not solve the issue. I have been working with Barbosa for more than a year now, they tend to go to extreme solution all the time instead of looking at sample stuff to fix the issue. I have the same experience with the gas line to my water heater. the water heater was working fine for 10 year, they serviced it and they found unit is not getting enough gas, so it vibrates. It was not vibrating before the service. they proposed getting new gas line from outside, and they did that for 4K$. I am sure if i got a second opinion on that, it can be a sample fix, but i did not at that time and paid a heavy price. I have to also mention some positive side of Barbosa, they are very responsive to calls, they do things in very timely manner and they are respectful to their customers. But these two experiences i have, I decided to drop them from my contractor list to work with.

Appreciated Cristian’s professional responses to my concerns and questions. Can’t comment yet on the value and quality of the service until all is said and done. If they match Cristian’s assessment, then it should meet all expectations. Am still in the assessment phase so I can’t say I’ve “used” this business.

Mr. Diaz was very professional and polite. He took his time doing the maintenance check on the heating portion of the HVAC system. He also completed a carbon monoxide leak test at the end of the maintenance inspection. Everything was in great working order with no issues. He recommended a new air filter and I told him that was on my to do list the day of service. The filter was 90 days old. I changed out the filter the same day. I also renewed the annual maintenance yearly fee for 2023. Very satisfied with Mr. Diaz and Walker/Paschal HVAC service.

I called Baker Brothers on a Saturday morning. Someone at my condo had backed their car into an outdoor faucet and water was going everywhere. We had to shut off water to the entire building. Andrew and Jose from Baker Brothers arrived within an hour and fixed the problem. Water restored.

David, Cesar, Eliazar and the rest of the team have been great to work with! It’s an enjoyable process, which is hard to find. Highly recommend!

Two men were sent over to diagnose a problem of my furnace and water heater's pilot light not going on. It was determined to be a minor problem and both gentlemen from Air Force One took their time answering questions for me.I would highly recommend this company.
