Edgar came out and conducted and outstanding service. He ensured the filter was replaced since I certainly was not doing it right. He also showed me pictures of areas he cleaned which I would never have seen. I highly recommend them for service. I signed up as a full customer contract which provides two services (summer and winter) which is cheaper than paying individual service visits. I also added on the plumbing. The incredible part here also is the service maintained the warranty you already have. Outstanding all around. Thank you.

Ivan A. and Alejandro A. did a great job. They were very careful and respectful, always putting on their shoe covers inside. They were quick and efficient - I hardly knew they were here. Ivan was a good communicator about what he was doing and the status of our systems. Ivan has been very well trained and was so polite! I hope they will come again this fall.

I love Levy & Sons. They provide great customer service. Luke and Alec are awesome. I like the fact they I get the same technicians twice a year and year after year for maintenance. Levy & Sons are proactive in calling and scheduling my bi-yearly service. I’ve never had to remind them in 17 years. Both my consultant and technician were professional and polite. Took the time to show me any issues and worked with me to get the right work done. Did not push agendas, just dealt with the issues. Levy & Sons did a fantastic job servicing my client’s HVAC and replaced the t-stat. Jeremiah and Kevin were at my house today they called first to say that they would actually be early which was great for me. I actually only made the appointment an hour before. I’ve been with this company for 5 years and have the service plan. Jeremiah and Kevin were so efficient and helpful and did a great job even though it was just my regular maintenance checkup they were so polite. I couldn’t ask for better service. Actually my service was way overdue and obviously I needed a filter because mine should had been changed in August they showed me the filter. They also were very thorough and explained everything on the paperwork which I didn’t understand thanks again Jeremiah and Kevin I will always request you two Juliet

We had them replace our coils in our air conditioning last summer and everything was great until we needed the heat to work. The only way we could get it to work was to turn on emergency heat. Called them, they came out and told us they needed parts for the heat pump so they ordered the parts and had to come back. When they returned they were here two hours then left again because of wrong parts. When it was finally installed the heat was not working but we were told it was because it was to cold outside.Cold passed by and and became more mild (mid 50s) and the heat was still not working. So we had to call them back in, another tech came in and checked everything then told us the pump worked fine it must be to cold outside. Waited some more and we couldn’t heat the down stairs beyond 64 degrees and if we didn’t leave our emergency heat on then the down stairs would dip below 60 and stay that way. While the down stairs was freezing the upstairs would be like an oven, so we called them back in.First they went up to where the unit was (in the attic) and said everything was fine. Then when being pushed by my wife they tried to say it was the electrical, and the ducts were to small, etc… until my wife pointed out they just said everything was fine. So finally they go back into the attic and make some adjustments that MAGICALLY make everything work normally! They tried to convince us we needed to replace the entire unit after they’ve been working and servicing ours for the past year.Do yourself a favor do not call these people. They’ll try to manufacture more work for themselves just to squeeze more money out of you. And Levi and Sons, if you think your labor cost is so high why not ask your techs why they hang out in the front of someone’s house for an hour, hour and a half after the job is “done”.If you want a reference from me call Air Rescue instead of these guys.

Alec has responded twice to our six month check up calls. He replaces all the filters and checks the systems to be sure all is working with no surprises during severe weather. Alec is consistently professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. He cleans up after himself (a rarity with service providers) and treats our property with respect. Alec puts a good face on the company as a whole. Well done!

I had a water heater expander replaced this morning as my original one busted. I called Levy & Son and they sent Brent out to repair. He was nice, informative, professional and took the time to explain to me in detail what may have caused the bust and how to potentially prevent a future flooding incident. He also was kind enough to set up and have Dry Force come to assess the damage done. If I need a repair or service in the future I will definitely contact Levy & Son and request Brent to come out.

Today's service visit, as per our annual maintenance agreement, was about as perfect as a service call can be. Our service tech - IVAN - was GREAT! He was very professional - called prior to coming, made sure that he left our home as he found it (wore footies, cleaned up after his work), and was very polite and friendly. Everything was tended to in a timely fashion and he explained all that he did before he left. We would have him back any day.

I had a representative from Levy and Son come check out my system. Mr. Jose Gonzalez did a fantastic job at explaining in detail the status of my system. I was also able to enroll in their service plan for 15 dollars a month!! Fantastic price and exceptional service.

Alec, was a great technician. He was prompt, efficient, and thorough. He provided an excellent and clear explanation of the service, what he did and listed issues that will need to be addressed. I could not recommend Levy & Son more highly.

Javier is awesome! We had some plumbing work on our new house and had a few unexpected emergencies over the weekend and he came and fixed the issues and communicated with us so we felt more peace of mind. Plumbing issues can be extremely overwhelming (when you have no idea what to do) was thankful to have Javier walk us through the work he did and the reasoning he did the work to help us find a solution to the current problems. Really appreciate Javier and would definitely use him again.

I've used Levy & Son Service Experts for years on my home A/C and heater needs. They are professional and provide quality service in my opinion. On my most recent service call, Joe and Ismael were both very thorough and did an excellent job in ensuring my home A/C is ready for the summer.

My kitchen sink was backing up and had a slow drain. I called Levy & Son and got an appointment. They explained their policy of $99 per visit that is credited towards the work done. Before the time of the appointment they called me to keep me updated on the visit. I could not answer the call as I was busy in a meeting. They texted me and coordinated and confirmed the time of the visit over text which was nice. Their Tech Elier arrived right on time and was very courteous. He handled the issue professionally and in a timely manner. He kept me updated throughout the work. The issue was resolved within the time window originally provided for the visit.

Javier recently replaced a toilet in my home. We upgraded the product and he was able to get the product by the next morning. He and Kevin removed the existing toilet the next morning and installed the new model. Very personable, hardworking, and knowledgable about the products and features. They did an excellent job.

Dago Rodriguez was right on time and super polite. He even entertained my kids by being interested their tool sets. I so appreciated that he didn't try and fabricated issues with my units, but made sure that we are prepared for likely another blistering summer.

Discovered water leaks at a new house. Levy & Son sent plumbing experts within two hours the same morning. Manuel N. & Nick T. did OUTSTANDING work--they were professional, had clear communication, thorough description of work completed, very friendly, organized, invoiced for exact quote, fast, excellent service. Tech Michael Flowers preformed a spring tune up on my system. He was polite,friendly and efficient.Upon completion of the home health report, he explained health and safety concerns noted. The inspection was very through.Michael is very competent in his field of expertise. I feel he is an asset to your company. Thank you for your hard work.

We had Levy & Son replace our water heater and we were very happy with the service. Holly and the dispatch team were able to fit us in for a same day service call and Brent did a wonderful install on our new water heater. I would recommend them!

Michael was very good at explaining what was happening to my unit and what was needed. I know we have an old unit, however as long as it gives us what we need we are satisfied. He did not find anything that could not wait and so we will wait until this summer is over to make a decision when to replace. Thanks for the tune-up.

Called for a quote for a hot water heater, expecting to need to wait a while for any work to actually get done. Bryan and Kevin came out and offered to complete the job same day! Excellent service and pricing. I will for sure be using them for any and all repairs

I called the company, and they sent Tyler over, and they got everything done on the same day at a very significant competitive price. I did my homework and looked around for different companies and compared the price. Great price, professional work, and done the next day for convenience is a big plus for me. Thank you, Tyle and Francisco.Follow up on this work. The work was done amazingly. My carpet had water damage because of the installation. There was no leakage before. It is, unfortunately, part of the risk of things that can go wrong during the water heater installation. I called to speak to the manager multiple time and was given the response was the manager was too busy dealing with other things and would get back to me regarding my water-damaged carpet. It has been two weeks since I reported the problem, and the manager still has not addressed the issue or given me a call. I am now waiting for the company's response and need them to fix the problem that was caused by their company installation. Please reach out to me and have this problem resolved. I will not hesitate to escalate this issue further if need to. You guys provide excellent service, and I did make payments for them, but when my property is damaged because of your service, I will demand that you to fix the damages—looking forward to hearing back from you.

Jeremiah and Ivan came out and performed a tuneup on my AC. They were courteous, respectful of house and thoroughly explained what they did, membership and recommendations. No pressure sales. Great experience and will use again.

I have been having ongoing issues with my cooling/ heating for at least 2 yrs. We have had multiple companies come with no resolution. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris and Elias on my service call. They were kind, professional, and patient, as I had many questions that I had not received answers prior. They addressed every concern with a resolution and the next steps to have my heating/air issues resolved. I look forward to doing business with them in the future. Chris and Elias will definitely be who I request for technicians, they felt like family members.

Originally called in due to tankless water heater not producing solid streams of hot water in our master shower. We thought we may need a replacement so we contacted Levy & Son to have someone inspect.Our Technician was Manual Navarrette and he was very friendly & personable. We explained the issues and what we had been experiencing and he provided us with what his initial thoughts were as to possible solutions as opposed to just saying we need to replace our tankless water heater. Which I was very grateful to hear that he was looking for solutions first instead of just going with the easy fix and having to spend a lot of money on a replacement.After completing his diagnostics he advised that we do some minor cleaning first and see the results and then go to the next step if needed. It turned out that is all that was actually needed and the hot water to our master shower started working back to an optimal level. He also suggested we do descaling of the water heater, as that is something recommended every year to ensure the unit continues to run at an optimal level. We took that suggestion and everything seems to be working out just fine and the cost potential went from a few thousand dollars to just a few hundred dollars. Which we were very grateful for.We would highly recommend Manuel at Levy & Son for any plumbing troubleshooting and support. He was personable, concise and had our best interest in mind with providing a solution. Much appreciated!

Great customer service! We've had a bad smell for months and Charles was very helpful and informative to our whole staff, he figured out where the smell was leaking from and even informed management for us! Charles is great at what he does, we would recommend him to our friends and family.

Joe and Joseph performed a tune up on my very old HVAC system. They were very professional and explained to me the state of my system and provided recommendations on repairs, and options for upgrading. Very knowledgeable and nice people! I really appreciated their care and time!

I highly recommend this company. Ask for Manuel for any plumbing needs! His attention to detail, walking me through each step of my plumbing issue, transparency with diagnosis and options for solutions brought me clarity and comfort in a very costly situation that I was quite worried about fixing. It's never fun to have big breaks and expensive fixes but having clear, honest communication and feeling like the path forward is the right one, makes all the difference.For additional reference, this company had all the tools needed to diagnosis the broken lines below my slab and the right team of people to access and fix the issue - start to finish. Expensive, but that's expected when you have to break slab or dig underneath it.

Had a leak in garage ceiling that Bryan and Kevin were able to quickly pinpoint cause coming from upstairs bathtub caulk failure. Bryan and Kevin confirmed that bathtub and pipes above ceiling were functioning properly and that replacing the worn caulk would solve the problem. I appreciated the time they took to explain the problem and solution and not try to up sell me on any unnecessary repairs.

I have never dealt with this professional of a plumber in my whole life. Javier and Francisco were top notch. Levy and Sons stepped up and responded quickly with our emergency situation. They replaced both of our hot water heaters today (one had failed and flooded yesterday), explained the process and the product in easy terms we non-handy people could understand, and even mopped the floor before they left. So professional and kind to us. We'll be using Levy and Sons again to be sure! i can't tell you how thrilled we are!

My wife attempted to call Levy and Son 12/28/2022 because our heat went out. She attempted to call multiple times without an answer. She received an automated message stating that an appointment could be made online. She completed the online request for an appointment at around 9AM. The information was submitted online and it stated that a confirmation email should be sent within an hour if the time was available. We never received a confirmation email. I called around 2PM on the same day. They stated that they never received a request when I provided the information. They told me that they had an appointment available on 12/29/2022 between 12PM and 2PM. My wife made arrangements to be there. Nobody showed up. I called back after 2PM. They told me that they did not have any record for an appointment. Do yourself a favor and contact a company that will not waste your time.

Eduardo was very professional and provided a most excellent service. He changed the A/C filter and verified the correct operation of the furnace and the rest of the system. Exemplary employee.

Not happy with the service I signed up for the monthly service plan for the AC and plumbing. They would come out to check my AC but really all they would do is try to do upsell their AC units. Since I do have an older unit they said their wasn’t much they could do but have me upgrade . Not sure why I continued the service or why they didn’t tell me it wasn’t any use to continue. I guess my error in trusting this company.My plumbing was never checked, I wasn’t even aware it includes it. Waste of time and money.

Serviceman, Ivan A. cam for annual checkup not only found problems, patiently fixed them at no cost. He was simply amazing - if he didn't have an answer he called for backup and got everything working perfectly - and even stayed to see the three-story house cooled in every room.

THEY WEREEXEMPLARY REPS OF THEIR SKILL SETS AND LEVY AND SONS/EXPERT SERVICES. JUAN PINEDA OUR REGULAR HVAC TECH OF 10+YEARS MEETS ALL OF THE ABOVE CRITERION IN FULL MEASURE!!!

This HVAC Company has major service issues. Totally undependable. I had arranged for 3 consecutive service calls, took off from work to meet their service tech, all 3 times, NO-Show, no call. They book in 2 hr time slots. When you call to complain, they apologize and rebook you. The last customer service representative I talked to admitted that this was a common problem and I wasn't the only casualty regarding no shows due to an inadequate scheduling system in place. I guess I should of learned after they installed a new HVAC system in the Spring and the multiple no-shows I experienced then, particularly with the City of Dallas permitting and inspection after installation, which they include in their pricing but try to avoid... which somehow got lost in their scheduling system too.

I called in a panic on a Sunday morning because my disposal stopped working and as a result water was backing up in my dishwasher and leaking onto my floor. Levy & Son were able to add me to the dispatch list and shared they would call 30 minutes before arrival. I was very happy with the communication, the dispatcher called 30 minutes before and the technician called me immediately after to understand the issue and give me a quote of the cost.I appreciated the quote of the cost to know what to expect and it was reassuring hearing the plumber, Manuel, was prepared. Manuel and Nick were very polite, professional and patient as I explained the issue and they worked to resolve my issue. I was impressed how well Manuel could explain the issue and resolution to me (someone without any plumbing knowledge). After Manuel and Nick completed the repairs they ran multiple tests to confirm everything was working as expected for me.Really appreciate the great communication, timeliness and thorough service!

Of course our A/C went out on a Sunday in Texas during a heatwave and when we were expecting the entire family for dinner. We called Levy & Sons and Brad came out at a moments notice and was very professional, courteous and proficient. He had our A/C up and running in no time! Thank you, Brad!

Terrific experience with everyone at Levy & Son! I scheduled online for a next day appointment. Brad and Ray showed up exactly at 8:30 after I was told they would be there at 8:30. Even though I told them I knew my 20 year old system was probably dead for good, Brad still did a very thorough review of my broken furnace and explained potential repairs. Ray did a great job explaining options and working with us to find a solution that matched our budget. Anthony and Bobby also showed up the next day to install my new system exactly at 9 like I was told. They treated my home with great care and did great work getting the full system installed in one day. I could not believe they had so many professional people on deck installing the equipment I needed within 48 hours of my first appointment request online. Overall, incredible experience and I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a new Lennox HVAC system.

Alan and Ismael were out to my house ASAP to diagnose my AC issues. While both people were extremely friendly and the visit was good, the offerings were a bit too expensive.However, I did call the 24/7 help line to cancel my appointment, and the man who answered was extremely nice and extremely helpful.1 additional point is that I do appreciate that I was able to back out of the contract I signed before anything was installed without issue, as they give a 3 day grace period. because of that, Ill leave the 5 star

He was polite, knowledgeable, fast, and ended up saving us some money as well as we had been quoted a much different price for the service, but he made sure we were covered by our existing contract.Thank you Alan!

We thought we had a leak in our shower because it had standing water in the pan and it hadn't been used. Javier and Kevin came out quickly and did a thorough examination of the shower and found separation of the caulk from the underside of the bench seat. They took pictures so we could see exactly where the problem was and they referred us to a company who could help us. Professional, trustworthy and prompt. You can't ask for more.

Our 10 yr old water heater broke down last night. We called Levy & Son this morning and were placed on the earliest available appointment. They even beat that appointment by more than 2 hours and the two technicians who came out, Jacob and Emery, were exceptional. They quickly identified the issue and confirmed out suspicion that the equipment was beyond repair.Jacob provided us with several options for equipment, payment, and service. We ultimately went with the service agreement and another water heater with a tank. Tankless was an interest of ours but with all the additional modifications that were needed we opted for the more conservative and equally high grade quality of a tank water heater.It was very helpful to understand the type of agreement and payment options that would fit us best and we never felt pressured to make a decision. Once we talked it over, Emery and Jacob went to get the equipment and installed it in record time. Their professionalism, courtesy, and outstanding customer service will keep Levy & Son as an outstanding experience. My request to Levy & Son would be to continue keeping such great individuals on staff who can establish trust and integrity for your brand. No way will I ever go through this company for plumbing or anything for that matter. But I will tell everyone I know to steer clear and beware. Called for a problem. Plumber didn’t do his due diligence. $6875 (some badgering from the plumber, a TRIP to the office to see the management, another plumber coming out and putting a band aid on the ORIGINAL issue) later and the problem still exists.But hey, like the original plumber said “they did a fantastic job on the half job”.Plumber kept telling me the COMPANY was very upset that he didn’t charge me more. Even though HE set the price. I never tried to haggle him. The plumber only showed up after I called the office to report him. The plumber ALWAYS told me he was busy with other clients. The plumber didn’t look at both outlets. Blamed it on the roots, but isn’t it his job to check both outlets since I told him I couldn’t flush tissue down the toilet? Even ASKED him if I could flush tissue down the toilet after he was done with the job and he said YES.I had to go to the office to ask that someone come out and cut the pipes sticking up out of my driveway. A joke. They left the front yard dug up with dirt and a safety hazard wide open for 4 days! They came to dig up the yard that Monday and was done on Friday. Plumber didn’t come back out until Tuesday.I was told by management that I needed to keep pressing when asking to speak to a manager. When I called and asked to speak to a manager, the office personnel wouldn’t transfer me but instead told the plumber. The plumber then calls me and says “I heard you called the office”. How scary is that?If the plumber would have looked at the other outlet, I would have been able to assess if I wanted to continue services. I felt like he charged me $6875, then decided to charge me the same amount for the same problem, to make up for what he said as “not charging me enough “. Like I said. A joke. I doubt if my comments make it any further, but I will still tell my side. If the plumber argues, I have proof.11/25/2022 UPDATE- The Google response from Levy and Sons is generic. I have contacted them since then (per the response) quite a few times to no avail. I received an email saying someone will get back to me. I haven’t heard from “someone” yet.BUYER BEWARE. It is your money in exchange for their services. Please choose wisely as Levy and Sons tried to make me and other consumers with complaints look foolish by deceiving the public with their fake response. Lesson learned the hard way unfortunately.

All of a sudden I had a leak under my sink. I made 2 previous calls and still had the mysterious leak. This time Manuel and Nick were sent. Manuel knew the problem as soon as he saw it. He took the time to be sure of his theory and then told me his plan to fix it. He reinstalled my touchless faucet that had been done totally wrong, causing the leak. When he left I was confident that the leak ws gone and the messy wiring to the touchless faucet was much neater, which was a bonus. He and Nick are awesome! I will ask for them personally the next time I have another issue.EDIT.....2 days later......When Manual was done working he said I would love my reinstalled faucet. He was right!!! I was not too thrilled with my Moen faucet set up but now I love the way it works!

My family and I just moved into our first house and our AC unit was not working . Quincey Wesley (comfort advisor) and Brad (technician) offered us multiple solutions. Our units are older and instead of them pressuring us into replacing the units like other companies suggested, they recommended that we did the repairs ($350) to keep the units running for the time being since the repairs aren’t too expensive . When it’s time to replace our units , we are definitely going to call and request this crew! Very personable and respectful

I called Levy &Son for my A/C maintenance. The service is excellent! They come out when they say they are. You do not get a 8-5 (all day window), they call when they're on the way. Very professional and respectful about your home (shoe covers, mask etc..), explain what the issues are with your A/C Unit and what's needed to fix the problem. They give you a quote and offer alternatives options. I highly recommend Levy & Son for All of your A/C needs!

Long story short, I had another company come out initially service my AC unit in preparation for a hot summer. The wanted to charge me $100 to come out in addition to doing the work. With Levy and Sons, they credit you the service fee, if you do the work that they recommend. The other company quoted $400 of work that needed to be done. I called Levy to come out for a second opinion and I am so glad I did. They gave me a credit for the service fee and I spent less than $200 on the whole visit. They were kind, knowledgeable, and not trying to charge me for something that I didn't need to have done. Thank you JReese!

A few weeks ago, Quincey and Jason came to our house for our Spring maintenance appointment. Jason recommended that we replace our 14 year old unit, and Quincey explained our options thoroughly and in a way that made sense. They were honest, transparent, and realistic. We had our new AC unit installed yesterday. Anthony, Robert, and Kevin did a fantastic job installing it. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. I spoke to Anthony the most. He was so much fun to talk to, and his 17 years of experience really shines through. There were a few issues that came up during install, but they worked together to troubleshoot and solve them quickly. Everyone made install day much better than I anticipated - they were an excellent team!In March, we had Jacob and Emery over to replace a condensate pump on our tankless water heater. Jacob did an excellent job replacing the pump and discovered the issue that caused it to fail, which he also fixed. He approached the solution very creatively, and I really appreciated how much he cared about his work.We've been Levy & Son customers for HVAC and plumbing since 2018. Every technician that has come to our house has been professional, trustworthy, personable, and great to work with. It seems rare that a company consistently goes above and beyond no matter the issue, but we're so happy we've found a company that does.

After a power surge took out my A/C unit, Levy has a technician out first thing Saturday morning to fix it. Jose was outstanding, nice and professional and had it up and running quickly and efficiently. Two thumbs up!

Austyn was our Service Technician and he was great! He was very professional and clearly communicated to me his recommendations. In one room we have a damper system and he had a creative solution for solving our over-heating problem. Austyn also was service oriented - he closed gates, put our used filters in the trash, set the thermostats back to their original settings, etc. Having our Heating Maintenance done was an excellent experience!

These are bad people! My AC was out due to a power surge that fried the mother board on the unit. Since the condenser was 12 years old, parts were difficult to come by making replacement the only choice in stead of repair. Levy told us this and it was confirmed by other contractors. Levy sent a slick salesman to upsell us on replacing the entire system because it was really better to just do the whole thing... Mechanical Air Design replaced the needed condenser only at half the price of Levy. I would highly recommend them and will never all Levy again.

These guys are usually very good until now. I had a whole new AC and heating system installed three months ago and while they were installing the unit in my attic they had an issue with water spilling out on my attic floor. It strained my family room ceiling. I was assured that any issue would be taken care of. After numerous requests to have them come take a look, they mysteriously went silent. Except for talking out my monthly payment. I think I am screwed.

Its August and my AC went out at 2pm, Levy & Son AC company showed up in 3 hours and got me running again. Its worth it to have a biannual service contract with them. He explained to me what was happing with the disposal and that it would need to be replaced. He finished the job in a timely manner. He cleaned up the area and left nothing behind. This was a chance to secure my AC business through a repair to our unit. We had received an alternate quote from competition, but Levy was more than double, spent less than 2 minutes diagnosing the issue, and pushed to replace unit rather than service. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone in need of AC service.

To start, I have not heard a word from yall about finishing my drainage system for my hot water heater. This is why yall havent seen a penny from me. Ive called and asked yall to come out and revisit this on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, but have not heard 1 word back from yall. Im tired of this, the person who installed my hot water heater, drilled through my brick wall without any APPROVAL at all. Past that, he drill literally 3 inches from my outdoor plug, I did not APPROVE this either. So, with that being said what are yall going to do to make this right so i can start making my payments regularly? Until then, putting this on my credit isnt the best way to get my attention.

I discovered that my Hot Water Heater was leaking and I called Levy & Son about 4:00 pm. They scheduled a plumber to come out and replace the tank. Got a call back about 30 minutes later with cost, and time slot for putting it in that evening. about an hour later the plumber was there and starting to work on it. Finished the job before dark with excellent work. Very impressive.

technician showed up checked upstairs units. claimed both drain lines clogged because moisture was in both pans. then claimed could not check freon levels in units due to clogged drain line. after telling him there is no way a clogged drain line is going to affect the freon levels. he did finally check one unit and claimed it was a little low but that could be due to same clogged drains. He wanted 320.00 $ PER LINE to clean drain lines. when i asked about checking the other unit i was told that would be another service charge. but he was willing to give me a discount (15%) if i sign up for plan to pay them 25.00$ a month .finally i got ready to pay for the 99.00 $ service fee he said there was a 129.00$ diagnostic fee in addition, when i told him the agreement was 99.00$ to get estimate he dropped the 129.00.The technician was professional and pleasant.( i really dont care how pleasant someone is when they are trying to rob me). I rarely leave reviews but these crooks need to be exposed. i will never call again unless i feel the urge to be robbed.

I scheduled a HVAC system maintenance and Hot Water Heater and Plumbing maintenance. They sent 2 techs out named Bryan and Austyn to do the maintenance. These 2 guys were great. They were on time and very professional throughout the whole visit. Very straightforward, easy to talk to and patient with all my questions. They gave a full assessment at the end of inspection with all the things they recommended I do but not with that pushy salesman red flag vibe. They provided me with good value financial options that make things affordable should I decide to go forward with their recommendations. Ask about Member Plans and the Advantage Program. So far I am happy with my choice to use Levy and Son and feel confident in recommending them to others!

After deciding it was time to replace two of our old HVAC systems before they failed us in the heat of our Texas summer, I called Service Experts since they had acquired the HVAC company that had installed the systems we are planning on replacing 16 years ago. After asking my location and the type of service I wished to discuss I was routed to a representative from Levy & Son. They are a Dallas based subsidiary of Service Experts. We scheduled an appointment for today between 10 am and 2 pm and Quincey arrived promptly at 10:15 am. Once we told him that we wanted to get a bid for replacing our two oldest HVAC units he surveyed the existing equipment, took pictures of the installation and condition of the existing ductwork, and then showed us several viable solutions, each with different efficiency ratings at different price points for us to consider. Quincey left us with some information and told us to call or email any questions. As expected, we did have a few after looking over the bid. I emailed him my list and received a reply within 15 minutes. Once we had digested his reply we were satisfied with the proposal and told him we were ready to move forward. He said he could come back out to the house today and he once again showed up at our agreed upon time. He had prepared a sales contract that included the items we had discussed at the price we had agreed to and the entire process was very efficient and painless. Quincey was very professional and personable as well. He took care to treat our home with respect and patiently answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. He told us he would come back on installation day in a few weeks to make sure the installation crew understood exactly what we had agreed to change out. We are very pleased with the entire experience on the front end of this transaction and look forward to a similar experience from the Levy & Son installation team.

Have used Levy & Sons for years and all of their technicians and installers are just like Jason and this is the reason I’ll continue to use them.

Alejandro and David came by for a maintenance check up for my AC systems. They were very courteous and professional. They were very informative and laid out all my options and described problems that could come up down the line without being pushy on selling services.

I had Levy & Sons come out to my house after not having them come for 2yrs due to Covid. I've had Service Experts come to my house 3 years before covid for an annual system check. This year they came out with a tech and a comfort specialist. The tech came said he found multiple issues with my system, all noted on my invoice. It was going to be very expensive to repair and they recommended that the money be invested into a new system instead. I had another AC company follow up this week to see if everything checked out. I was not low on freon in one unit (the unit that Levy & Sons was most concerned about) and the other unit was just over 1lb low (which he said was optional if i wanted to fill it). The other company also checked the voltage on my fan, which Levy & Sons said would likely need replacing soon and he said it was right inline with what it should be (i was hoping so, since i had it replaced only 3yrs ago). The only thing I needed done was to blow out a clogged line and they did it for 1/5 the price I was quoted.I'm NEVER going to use Levy & Sons again. This is basically a downright dishonest business practice, pushing homeowners to purchase or pay over time, new AC units. They're really pushing their monthly plan to pay for new units. This isn't the same company when it was Service Experts, that came to check my units in the past. Homeowners beware!

I had Leo and Tino from the plumbing team to perform a Hydostatic Test on my home. The were very transparent and communicative, they talked me through the entire process and listed each step and the cost associated with it prior to beginning any work. They ended up needing to run a camera through my system in order to locate the clean outs on my home. They took their time and made sure I understood everything that was happening. It was their last call of the day and the test took two hours to complete, they never rushed anything.

My ACs were installed by Levy and Son and are under warranty. I try to do my annual tune ups with them due to this fact. Every time I schedule a tune up my appointments get cancelled and rescheduled. This has happened both times I have scheduled a tune up for my systems.In the past this was not an issue working from home but now that I have to take time off work it is an issue. Calling and canceling an hour before you are supposed to show up is completely unprofessional. I regret doing business with them in the first place. If your system is under warranty with them you end up at the back of their queue.

This company has dropped the ball on every occasion we've done business with them. We've had instances when we've called 5 days in a row to schedule the same appointment for a leak from our ceiling, we were assured each time someone was coming out, only to find out nothing had been scheduled each of the 5 times we called. We have been overcharged. They have left a mess from their cleaning products that has ruined our floor. Highly recommend you use someone else.

I’ve used Levy & Son (used to be called Service Experts) and have always been very pleased with their service. We had an issue with a backed up drain from the AC pan with water running out through my shingles. We called them on a Saturday mid-day, and they had a tech on-site late that day. My preferred service tech now is Tyler H. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and took the time to explain everything I could understand. I know he was very busy as the on-call Saturday tech......and he was cheerful and happy to complete our issue. And I'm happy as well !!

He explained what needed to be done either today or at a future time. I asked him to do all that was needed today and he completed the work efficiently and cleaned up very well. He also showed me after pictures of his work. I was totally pleased with his work and his explanation of why the work was needed. I would highly recommend him to anyone and would hope he could return the next time I need a maintenance check.

We woke up on Sunday morning when it was lower than 20? outside and our heater went out. I called Levy and son which sent a tech, Chris, which came within a couple of hours (mind you, on a Sunday morning after New years). Fixed the issue, happened to to the capacitor, within 25 min. He could have tried to cheat us out of more money, but he did not. He charged us less than the average cost per my online research. Definitely an honest guy and company.. Will use them again for sure. Thank you Chris.

Capacitor went out and unit wasn't cooling late Friday night. They called Saturday morning to confirm and then at 5:30pm Saturday they called and said the tech was on his way. He arrived about 6:15 and was able to locate the problem quickly. Changed capacitor and checked coolant levels. System was up and running by 6:45 and I still made my friend's bday dinner that night! Thanks Christian for the quick fix and expert service. Would recommend for emergency services to anyone.

Consultant was very prompt and professional but the service he was offering is not what we were looking for rental equipment with low monthly payment. And the numbers just look outrageous Incase we sold home in 5 years of the payoff price. In my 40 years of owning homes it has never cost so much to cool or heat house per year even with rising prices due to inflation.Another option of buying new equipment was too high price. We choose not to choose either and went a different route to repair instead.

I requested this company to service our HVAC unit and plumbing at a commercial property our company owns in Dallas. They assured me I would be provided estimates for the work to be performed before and work was completed (standard for the industry). I never heard back again despite having left my phone number and email address. I had to follow up with them multiple times in an attempt to get the inspection reports I requested and pay for the services rendered. Over a month after I initially scheduled the appointment, I received the requested documentation to find out they had never even sent the HVAC technician and were charging us hundreds of dollars for the plumbing visit despite having not identified the issue and not performing any actual work. The representative who finally emailed me the invoice was rude, sarcastic and blamed me for the miscommunication. As a property manager, I've dealt with dozens of service companies in multiple states and this was a very underwhelming experience.

I’ve used Levy & Son (used to be called Service Experts) for years and have always been very pleased with their service. We have an annual maintenance contract with them and this has been a great service and value. They even call me to remind me to schedule the maintenance checks (as opposed to just taking my money for an annual contract and hoping I never actually schedule a maintenance appointment). My preferred service tech is Johnny Rivera. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and takes the time to explain everything in terms I can understand ( and on top of that a really nice guy!)

Austyn was excellent. He wore a mask which I appreciate. He was thorough and also fixed some duct work that came undone during freeze. He also pointed out some other duct problems where ducts had come apart and needed attention. Austyn was an excellent person who was very helpful. We have used Levy and Son for decades, and Austyn was a great technician who made me feel very comfortable and taken care of.

The guys were super nice and very efficient. But I thought that the price of replacing an outdoor faucet was a bit much. Did the piece to be replaced faucet cost $300 and the service fee was $300. Come on that is a ridiculous amount of money to replace something that literally took them 15 minutes to do.

Quick. Efficient. They went through the attic ceiling door from the garage so the house wouldn’t get too hot. 2 systems and done by 3pm.I would highly recommend Levy and Sons.

This is the first time I have ever offered a review but these guys are unbelievable. Called to get help identifying and fix water leak. They came out and found the leak but couldn’t go further without pool guy cutting away pool equipment. They charged almost $700 to locate leak and spent about 2 1/2 hours. That was fine we agreed to that. They then told me that the complete job would take a minimum of 6 hours and cost another $3,000. Unbelievable. When pool guy came to move pool equipment, he fixed the leak and charged us $500 to move pool pipes and fix the leak. It took him less than 4 hours.Their pricing is exorbitant! Never again.

I liked that Gary had been with the company for 30 plus years. He was excellent at replacing our disposal.

Been a Levy AC/Plumbing customer for a long time, and have usually had great success. Today was an exception to this, a shutoff value was stuck and they cut and patched a new one in. However, there wasn't any check to see if it was done correctly and was left leaking all over the floor. They would not agree to come back out several hours later, despite multiple calls. Went from a minor repair to being without water for hours. The customer service here is for sure not what it was and I'll look elsewhere in the future.

Absolutely pathetic , technician came in went in attic claimed both drains on drip pans clogged and that some how was causing my freon levels to be low. Did not want to check freon due to clogged drain lines.gave me a quote to clear clogged drain lines of 395.00 per line.but I could get a 15 % discount if I sign up for program paying 25.00 a month forever.refused to check other unit because that would require another service call.at the end tried to charge me 129.00 diagnostic fee on top of 99.00 service fee. If you want to get robbed give them a call

My family’s condo was having a sink issue that caused our downstairs neighbor’s sink to back up and leak into the breezeway. Alfredo was prompt and called me before coming upstairs which I really appreciated. Knocks on the door are always a little bit jarring so it was nice of him to do that. He was an absolute gem and made sure that I understood what was going on and even drew me a picture so I could visualize the problem. Levy & Son mark ups caused the cost of service we asked for to simply be too high. To us, the cost wasn’t justified. We found a local Licensed/Insured Plumbing company that provided the same services for less. Adding to that, the local company we went with - S.M.R. Plumbing, have fair terms and warranty their work just as Levi & Son.

I have relied on Levy and Son for many years for plumbing and HVAC installation, maintenance, and repairs. Today Levy and Son installed a new hot water heater at my residence. The work performed by Jacob and Anthony was superior. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and exude a positive attitude regarding assisting in the the service provided.

I was put in contact with Dustin and he was awesome. He was incredibly personable, and always made sure that we were on the same page. He provided an estimate to replace my hot water heater which was reasonable compared to other companies. Saw a email from TXU to use Levi & Son for a free check up of my a/c system. Call me an appointment they came back but was surprised to see the repair man and another man in a different car I was told that I needed a new compressor which cost $5000 or I could buy a whole unit for various amount of money that’s when I found out that the guy that was in a different car with a finance salesman needless to say I was surprised that I was going to have to buy a whole new system I didn’t like the hard sale I was receiving so I said I would have to get a second opinion believe it or not they tried to downtalk that decision but I didn’t listen I went online to Angie’s list and put in my requirements and Fourseason air conditioning heating responded to my request he came out check my system and through investigating he found out that my compressor was disconnected still needed to replace it but at a cheaper price that was quoted from Levy and Son I am so happy they are some honest people left in this world. I am a female and I think they were trying to take no no no

This last week, July 2021, Levy and Son plumbers worked under my house for three days. The promised and WRITTEN contracted work was replacing 65 feet of main sewer pipe and all the PVC piping which fed into it from the two bathrooms at the front of the house. There was a significant charge. I thought the work had been done. The city inspector, who came after the work was finished to evaluate it, in fact informed me that only 43 feet of sewer pipe had been replaced and NONE of the side branch PVC piping had been replaced. When I confronted the plumber, he confirmed this. Levy and Son were going to charge me the FULL contracted amount until I was made aware and called and complained. They had no excuses or apologies. They did knock the price down a little bit. I felt angry, cheated and taken advantage of. I would not have known AT ALL if the city inspector had not taken the time to chat with me. I have worked with Levy and Son for over 20 years but I will NEVER do business with them again. EVER. I would not recommend them to anyone. Not only was this a blatantly dishonest encounter, but their attitude and their customer service has deteriorated dramatically. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Moe and Alex arrived right on time, were cordial and installed our new furnace efficiently in about 4 hours. They made sure to cover all surfaces with tarps and cleaned up well before they left. Great job guys! Additionally - Lap did our semi-annual maintenance earlier this week and he too did a great job for us.

Not sure if they hijacked or advertises as The Pink Plumber in Nextdoor because they answered my call. The first tech showed up with a box truck but said he didn't bring the right tools and materials. He said to wait for their 2nd crew so I cancelled the secondary company I called, Sunrise plumbing. Their 2nd crew arrived at night and quoted me for the whole meter box repair not the coupler that I called them about. I asked the tech to correct the description of the repair form and put the correct amount and he said to just pay the $99 trip charge if I don't agree with the $1400 quote. He said it like I have no other choice as it'sgetting late. He even gave me a fake number to call as his supervisor and accuses me of not wanting to pay but immediately left without replacing the handhole lid when I pointed to the security camera and said we are being recorded so I have proof that I gave him the check for the trip charge. My friend sent me another plumber who replaced the coupler for $450.

My air conditioner quit working on a hot Saturday night at 8:30. I called Levy & Son's and spoke to Sue to see if someone could come out that night. Sue was amazing!! She was so friendly and very willing to help me out. She explained the Advantage program that Levy & Sons provides, and I immediately signed up!Alex arrived at my home around 10:30 pm, just 2 hours from the time I requested service. He determined the problem, replaced my capacitor, and within a short time my home is already cooling down.I can't say enough about their service and responsiveness! It's very comforting to know there is a company out there that's dependable and you call anytime day or night and they will take care of you!Thank you! I'm a customer for life!!

On a Saturday, main drain at a strip mall was backed up. Levy & Sons came and blew out the system but did not verify all tenants affected were good.Three tenants still had issues Monday, one with water coming through the wall of the bathroom. When Levy & Sons were told the issue was not fixed they said they would be out that afternoon or next morning. After no one came out Monday, Tuesday morning we called at 8:30am to make sure we were on the schedule. Followed up at 11am when we had not heard anything, then followed up again at 1pm and still not on the schedule even though tenants have a sewage issue in the building.Will never use this service again.

I am using this company for both business and personal. Personal/ home service is awful. They make a contract, charge you ahead of time, but service is extremely subpar. I am still waiting for them to finish the maintenance that needed to be done in May!!! We are in Mid July and if I don’t call , get upset , ask for Managment, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. Customer service is less than zero!!!

Plumbing repair was done on outside faucet. It was done very quickly on a Saturday night. The time from my call to the work being completed was about 2 hours. Plumber was very knowledgeable and efficient

Highly recommend Levy and Son and appreciate the great service that Jacob provided to replace my water heaters and to install a FlowTech unit. Jacob diagnosed the problem and was ready with the install on Monday. While we didn’t know about the Texas Winter 2021 the replacements were just in time and we had hot water through the storm. He helped to find the right solution for our budget and the work was done professionally and without issue. Have relied on Levy & Sons for many years without issue.

My parents were having plumbing issues, and my mom was overwhelmed with my dad being out of town. I walked in to check on her and she was sitting with Shelby Who had showed up early and fixed the problem efficiently and professionally. What made him different was that he was sitting and listening to my mom with compassion and kindness…. It was clear that he had been an ear for her to speak with and I was very touched. This is so far above and beyond customer service that I was blown away. If you are Buddy T*****'s manager or director, I'd like to tell you how lucky you are to have this great employee. A sprinkler system was being installed at our house and the installers hit a gas main. Four Atmos trucks and an Atmos flatbed with a bulldozer were soon outside our house, as well as a fire truck. It was unnerving. After the gas main was repaired, the house failed the pressure test: there were leaks inside our house. Two plumbers, including one we have a maintenance agreement with, bailed on us. We ended up calling Levy & Son and Buddy came out. He carefully and methodically worked to eliminate where there wasn't a gas leak and found the two places where there ended up being FIVE leaks. Buddy did minimal damage to drywall to repair the leaks, which was amazing because we were expecting to have to re-pipe the whole house. Buddy even gave us his cell number, and we were able to call him when Atmos asked a question we couldn't answer. When you need service in an emergency, it's great to have a company and employee you can rely on. Thank you so much Levy & Son, and thank you, Buddy!

I wish I confirmed Levy customer until I lost all faith and confidence in Levy due to issues with my hvac. Jacob and Anthony have restored my faith and confidence in Levy. Minor master tub waste over fill leaking water. Replace gasket and screws. Glenn then checked outside city water and told me that our connection was good but the city should be checked, I called and they sent somebody. Glenn then came back and I asked him too check the water heater, which he did. Told me it was 14 years old and I should be getting a new one. Glenn also checked the guest bathroom sink and said I need to put a small amount of bioclean into the drain because of AC leaking into the trap.

Bobby and Kevin are a GREAT installation team. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and were lots of fun to have around during the installation. During times when you feel stressed over not having air conditioning for 10 days, a little humor goes a long way to fix everything including your AC system. I had a leak in my main water line between the meter and the house. Less than 24 hours after calling Levy & Son, a plumber was on site and quickly and professionally fixed the problem. I will definitely use them in the future for any needs that may arise. I strongly recommend this company.

We have been using Levy & Son for over 12 years for our HVAC system and have always had wonderful and reliable service. This past week, we had our routine service done by Horacio and he was absolutely outstanding. He was very thorough in his diagnostics and then explained everything to me in detail, letting me know all of my options of service that needed to be done. He was very polite and respectful, and he was very careful to close the door behind him when going in and out of the house so my cats didn't get out. :) Thanks, Levy & son, for your wonderful service and employees!

This was a plumbing job. Simple stuff: replace a threaded tub spout and replace drain in kitchen sink. These guys charged $650 for about 30 minutes work and at most $50 in materials, because their corporate owner did away with time and materials charges. It's fat flat rate for all residential work by this company. Be aware!

Manuel came by this morning and did a plumbing inspection, as a part of our maintenance agreement for our HVAC system. He was knowledgeable, kind, considerate, and did his job quickly and thoroughly. He left us with a small list of items that may need repair or maintenance in the future, including a couple we were aware of already. I did not even know they would look at our plumbing, so it is good to know I have someone I can call on with whom we have a relationship.

In the peak of the summer heat, my A/C unit called it quits. I contacted Levy and Son and within 48 hours I had a new unit installed! Ted was excellent in proposing the right system and then Jeff and Jose spent all day installing the system and getting it right! They were all pleasant, professional and very knowledgeable. UPDATE 4/2022: HVAC maintenance scheduling and visit went smoothly this time. Austyn was very professional and knowledgeable, and we hope he will be our technician for future appointments.ORIGINAL: The plumbers are excellent. Very courteous and know what they are doing. However, the call center is consistently horrible. So deducting 1 star for that. They are courteous, but they either have difficulty finding my account in their system, or they simply don’t understand the problem. Most recently, the call center misunderstood and had HVAC person call me when it’s a plumbing issue which delayed getting fix. This problem has been consistent ever since Levy was bought by Service Experts or whatever the business arrangement is. LEVY & SON professionals are excellent but their Service Experts call center arrangement is awful.

Manuel and David came out yesterday and were pro’s in solving our plumbing issue! Very knowledgeable and got us going in no time. Highly recommend these two.

Jacob and Emery came out on Easter weekend to locate a gas leak and worked long hours to complete the job by Monday evening. They also installed a tankless water heater. I could not have been more pleased with the service they provided!

Levy and Son installed a HVAC in our home about a year ago and we've been more than pleased with our system as well as the customer service and maintenance we've received. I've never had to wait on hold when I call, they always fit me in quickly for service calls, their maintenance plans are worth having when something comes up, and I've appreciated their expert knowledge every step of the way. Mark Johnigan was my main contact. He was incredibly responsive and set us up with an excellent team that installed our new systems with care, efficiency, and expertise. Horacio and Roger were the service techs during today's summer AC checkup at our townhouse. I had a great experience getting my new heating and air system installed. Mark made the process really easy and walked me through everything. Disappointed in Levy's HVAC techs for the second time. I used them for an HVAC tune up. The first year they didn't clear the leaves out of the outdoor unit. This year, they didn't even call to let me know what their repair recommendations were. They simply sent an invoice and went on their way.

Levy and Sons plumbing has always been reliable. Manuel N. came today and he was so efficient and explained everything. He flushed my tankless water heater. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Manuel came to fix an outside water faucet that was leaking. While he was here, I asked if he could replace our garbage disposal, which was not on his list of things to do. Without hesitation he worked to take care of all my needs. He is a really nice young man and seemed genuinely interested in getting the best job done for me. A+ job.

Update 4/26/23: Just had Levy & Son install a new AC unit, furnace, and thermostat to replace a 10 year old system. Installation technicians Anthony, Hai, and Robert were extremely courteous and professional, and took great measure to protect the floors in my home and clean up nicely when they were finished. I am very happy with the service I received and how great these guys were.Update 9/2/22: Just had Levy & Son perform maintenance on both of my units. Jacob Morgan came out to the house to fix our broken water heater. He explained my options with no pressure and was very professional. He updated me throughout the job and upon completion triple checked his work. He left the job super clean and made sure we were satisfied.

We've used Levy and Son for several years and have been extremely pleased with the quality of their work as well as their professionalism. They always give us prompt service. Patrick Barnes has serviced our home several times. Yesterday he fixed my leaking toilet so quickly that he suggested he check all the others while he was here - since the service charge would be for 30 minutes anyway. To top it off, he told me about an on-line coupon I could use for the service call and left me more coupons to use in the future. Now that's service!

We have been customers of Levy & Son for more than 45 years and always have found their products and service to be superior. We had two Trane condensers installed and some coil work performed to bring our two systems up to date. Jeff and Pedro arrived 25 minutes early of their expected time and finished installing the two units early as well. Jeff was experienced, efficient and effective. I addition , they were both polite, careful and tidy and managed their tasks efficiently. The service was great but the billing department sucks. It has been a week and my credit card still has not been charged and I have not received an invoice. I have called twice and am told they are working on it. I also was not reminded of my spring check up or my maintenance was due. I think since Levy and Son and become Service experts, some aspects have gone down hill.

Levy & Son offers great service and superb technicians. It's one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. Everyone is truly an expert on quality AC repair, maintenance and installation. Andres Garcia is our go-to guy. He is prompt, polite, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. He worked quickly and efficiently only stopping to explain complex technical issues that even us non-techies could understand. He also made several excellent suggestions on what we could do to keep our HVAC system up to date. Highly recommended!

My home Warranty Company had sent a plumber out who completely misdiagnosed the problem. I had used Levy and Son in the past and called them. Patrick came out and was thorough in his examination of the tankless hot water system and even called the manufacturer to confirm what he was seeing. He then gave me a few options, I made a choice and he was back out with Jon 2 days later. They did a great job performing the needed work, kept everything clean, and followed up to confirm everything was still working as expected. I would like to thank Dustin & Tyler for being very professional in completing our issue with water leak. Our A/C went out in the middle of August--and the company who installed the system was no where to be found. We called Levy and Son and they were able to come out the next day. Raul (service Tech) and Ricky (sales rep) came out and where very professional and wore all the correct PPE. Raul diagnosed the problem and we found that we had a warranty on the system. He stayed on the phone with the warranty company and worked with his supervisor to get the part and set up install for the next day.He explained everything and answered all my questions--he wanted to make sure my family was able to get back into our house as soon as possible.Because of the way Levy and Son responded and worked with us through the warranty process, we decided to sign up with them for regular maintenance. Good/Honest/Sincere customer service is hard to find these days, and I believe Levy and Son is a company that wants to do what is right for their customers

I recommend Levy & Son for your plumbing needs. We had a non emergency leak in our old 1960's plumbing and L&S had a tech out the next morning. Our plumber, Leo came out on time and took care of everything with professional care and speed. He knew just what to do and was very pleasant to our family and unruly but friendly dog.

I have used Levy and Son for many years. They are always on time do the great work. Just had a new hot water tank installed. The service man Patrick Barnes did a great job. It was his first time to my house. He explained everything to me. And he left the work area clean.

On my first encounter, they no showed me on my two hour appointment window. On the second encounter, the service man respectfully admitted that he didn’t know enough about my thermostat. The third encounter ended with the service man telling me that they can’t install the thermostat without shielded cable. When it clearly states in the directions how to wire it, without shielded cable. They are obviously too busy for for my small job!

PlumbingMy outdoor faucet handle was broke. Call on Monday and Leo came Tuesday. Leo is a very good listener. He went to his truck for some tools and fixed the problem. I got a fair deal and was happy. I have used Levy for big (broken bathroom sewer pipe) and small problems. Always treated fairly. They have my back. Vickie

(Before Levy, I called another company that would only quote me a price for the entire system - and was quite aggressive.) If all plumbing companies were only like this one! I had a Saturday toilet problem, and a great service man, Dell Reed, was able to get to problem promptly. He dealt professionally and swiftly with the problem I had, problem was resolved completely, and he was done! We had two complete Lennox HVAC systems installed in our home today by Service Experts Plano. This was to replace poor equipment and systems installation from the builder. Our sales consultant, Chow, designed a system that will be much more efficient for our cooling and heating. He was completely professional, knowledgeable of HVAC systems and a pleasure to work with. Since we were installing two complete units, Service Experts sent two crews out so our installations could be completed in one day. Bernie, Moe, Bobby, Joe, Slim, Curtis and Adrian were professional, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable of HVAC installations. The installers wore shoe covers, laid tarps on our hardwood floors and swept when they were through. We were shown how everything worked and all of our questions were answered. Will have to downgrade service. Today was the 3rd day the holes from my sewer line repair was to be filled in. Still waiting. The plumbing job was excellent. They're not great on communication: they don't always call when they're coming. The tome frame they give you is not accurate.

Daniel Garcia has taken care of my Aunt and Uncle's house for years. He left and is now back. They are so grateful! He came out for the regular inspection and maintenance and found multiple things we needed to fix. He rated them and came back promptly. Our thermostat went out that morning and he fixed that for us too. He is kind to our dogs, which is a plus because they are Dachshunds and love to bark. We think the world of him and he always does a fantastic job! We appreciate Daniel very much and we are so glad he is back at Levy!!!

That winter storm in Feb 2021 hit us HARD y’all! We had 4 pipes freeze/burst in our home (built in 1961) and were terrified when we started seeing water come through the ceiling of our family room. Luckily my husband turned off the water immediately & we called Levy & Sons right away. Jacob was able to get to us the following day (we knew it would be a while with widespread damage in DFW), and he was a total breath of fresh air! Not only did he fix our pipes quickly but he happily engaged with our very curious 3 & 4 year old boys. Levy & Son serviced our heat & air conditioning system regularly. When the time came for serious maintenance, they diagnosed the key issues and took care of it thoroughly and quickly - they even offered a stop-gap/interim solution to bridge the time between finding the problem and receiving the parts to fix the problem. We couldn't have asked for a more considerate service, or a better one - they were great.

Changing my review to 1 star. They used to be awesome, but I had them come out and inspect an air conditioner of a home I had a contract on. The guy was shady and brought his sales guy to bid a new one. The prices they quoted were 10,000 more than other companies. Don’t know what happened but I’ll never use them again.Old Review:This is the first time I have used this company. In the past, all my homes had gas heat, but I just purchased a house that has an electric heat pump system and I have no clue how it really works. Well my AC/Heater quit working so I had them come out. The technician (Juan Pinel-not sure I have the spelling right) was super knowledgeable and told me he had been with the company for over 20 years. He ended up finding that a wire had jiggled loose (probably during inspection) from the unit outside. He also took about 15 minutes explaining to me how the system works and what to watch for. I was impressed that he took the time to explain the system so I would understand how to save money this winter while running my unit.

I used Levy & Sons for a plumbing issue. Sewage was backing up into the bathroom of my business. They were able to come right away, but did not have the equipment needed for the job. They said they would return the following day. They did not show up. When I finally got ahold of someone they said they would come the next day. Third day of sewage in my bathroom... they still did not show. I kept calling and they kept saying someone was coming but eventually said someone else took priority over my call and they couldn't come until the following day. So 4th day... they came and the issue had resolved itself. Manager said he would give me a discount on labor because of the delay. I was never given an itemized receipt but later received a bill. Called the office multiple times to get an itemized receipt and never received. Then finally got someone on the phone who said she didn't know anything about a discount. Finally gave me $30 off - but I paid $300 after 4 days of waiting, multiple phone calls all the while the plumbing issue had resolved itself. Continually got excuses from the staff - will never use again.

Horacio M. was an exceptional technician. He was educative and communicative.... thoroughly explained all relevant aspects, including the problems that we could realistically anticipate in the future. He was easy to trust, never pressuring a sale, but merely offering the data points that we needed to make the best decisions for our system. In fact, I would name him the best technician that I have encountered in thirty years of home ownership. When I relayed that he was unusually good, he merely stated that I should always expect the level of service that he provided.

Our AC went out, Levy & Son bought the Company we had used before.TYLER Maintenence Tech. & Sales Associate ANDY B., showed up and explained Our options. DUE to Covid and Chinese Imports driving costs up, Our 23 year old Electric Heat Pump was going to cost a bit to fix. TYLER did a partial fix by replacing the Capacitor, so We could be comfortable. We decided to go with a New Electric 3 ton Heat Pump,which will work best for us. Both Tyler and Andy were upfront, and honest with both options. Both professional, and We give them both 5 STARS. WE would give 10 if We could.

I discovered a drainage backup in the main sewage line one evening. I called Levy & Son plumbing companies for the emergency service. Even though it was in the evening after 8 pm when I called, my call was promptly answered. Then the contractor whose name was Justin was sent to my house the very first thing in the morning the next day. I am very pleased with Justin's service. He was very capable, very professional and very friendly. It turned out that my drainage problem was due to a clog 60 feet away from the house to the street, and was kind of difficult to reach. In order to clear the backup in the drain-line, Justin worked hard and at the same time worked very prudently and used a powerful machine that many smaller plumbing company do not have. With his persistent effort my drainage line was finally cleared. Thank you Justin, and thank you Levy and Son Plumbing Company. I really appreciate your excellent service.

We recently used Levy and Son for an A/C issue and their service was so stellar, that we tried them for a plumbing issue today. Technician Leo Escobar reviewed and fixed our immediate issue with a high degree of competence, communication, confidence and care. The level of service exceeded my expectation. We had been wanting to have video made of our entire system and he was able to do that too. I have a feeling we will use Levy and Son for many years to come.

I've used Levy & Son for about 25 years. The first time, my heating stopped working over a weekend when temperatures were below 10 degrees. I called a different company to come out and they said the unit needed to be replaced and a cost of five or six thousand dollars. I decided to get a second opinion and called Levy & Son at my sister's recommendation. They had the heating working again in less than 15 minutes. Over the years since then, including replacing the heating/air conditioning unit three times, they have always been efficient and courteous. Most recently, Michael and Horacio came out. I was very pleased with their work. I have also been very satisfied with their plumbing services.

On September 1, 2016 Elias from service Experts came to service our unit. He called prior to let us know when he would arrive. His work is great and treats the unit like as if it was his own. This is his second time at the house and always friendly and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend service experts.

My heating unit stopped blowing warm air last night. I called Levy & Son early today to schedule and appointment. Juan Pinegh arrived at my house during the first part of the service window. He identified himself and was extremely polite. He went into the attic to evaluate my system. Once he had completed his inspection and repairs, he explained what had happened and showed me pictures of problem areas in my existing (old) system. He explained that my system could go at any time because of it's age and told me about available specials through Levy & Son. I asked to have a consultant come by to give me an estimate on a new system. He called the office and set an appointment for later today. After he prepared the invoice, he told me about coupons on the company web site that I could use today. I always enjoy saving money! I feel that Juan was professional, competent and fair.

Horacio & Andres performed our spring a/c and heat check up. They were great!! Professional, good communicators, respectful in not tracking dirt in the house and even vacuumed stuff that fell out when the attic door was opened. They did not try to scare me into adding more Freon to my units - we can add if needed during the summer and watch to see if the current level is maintained. I liked them so much that I asked how to get them to come again for the next check up!

This company is GREAT. They are honest and responsive. I really do trust their recommendations. The pricing is reasonable and the service excellent. I just had a great technician, Leo Escobar, who was friendly, efficient, and careful. They also replaced my water main a couple of weeks ago. We’ve used Levy and Sons for years. I love that I can trust their technicians! Juan explained each repair we needed and why it was important. My first impression of them was great. They came around 10pm on Father's Day to unclog a drain that the AC condensate line drains into. If this wasn't cleared, running the AC would cause the guest bathroom sink to overflow. They spent about 2 hours, but finally got it using their drain camera and teamwork. It was just under $300 total. A couple days later I noticed the bathtub on the other side of the wall backing up. They never checked to see if that tub, which we suspected shares the same drain was draining correctly. I did an online chat to schedule a return and was assured I wouldn't be charged another $300. The 'no charge' got lost along the line multiple times. When the office called to tell me someone was on the way, i asked again about the charge. I would agree to the $99 trio charge but no more. She said she'd get back to me. Next thing I know, the tech is at my door. We talk about what needs to be done and tells me it will be expensive for him to climb on the roof. What happened to no charge. Calls the manager, who agrees to let him do it for $350 instead of the usual $700. Nope. I sent him away and apologized that his office wasted his time because he shouldn't have even showed up if they were going to charge me. After that, they went from 5 stars to 3.

Jacob came in to replace our water heater that broke down during the weekend. On Friday night he spent time doing FaceTime with me to go through each step to turn off gas and water and on Monday morning he was at our place to replace the water heater . He was on time, very professional and performed the replacement very rapidly . Later in the week when the water heater pilot light went down because blowers from the water damage restoration company were improperly placed, he guided me using FaceTime to restart the pilot light and make sure that does not happen again. Jacob really embodies professionalism and good service and this is a person like him that make me continue to use Levy and Son for my AC and heating systems.

The technician acted like he was working on both toilets, which I had already told him what was wrong- used my supplies I bought at Home Depot. Cut holes in my ceiling- didn’t explain he wasn’t going to patch them before he had me agree to it for diagnostic purposes, left my house dirty, way overcharged me/ charged me double what a plumber had quoted me on Sunday night at 9 pm .. but had me sign the agreement to pay before letting me know they only worked on one. Very frustrating. For just 1 wax ring & Falange.. over $700 & I still need to find someone to patch 2 holes in my ceiling

My Rheem system is less than 2 years old. The AC was working great when the tech came. When he left the system was blowing hot air when both thermostats were set to cool. The tech said everything was working great when he left. Its 83 degrees and I had to shut the system off. Supposed to come back tomorrow. I wonder what he did to the system?

Austyn did an amazing job quickly diagnosing the problem. We have been chasing the issue for over a year so I am very appreciative of his attentiveness to resolve it.

Horacio was my service technician who went way above and beyond to ensure a productive and timely tune-up. His ability to walk me through the entire process, answer any needed questions, and leave both my house and yard cleaner than when he arrived was very impressive. Levy & Sons is lucky to have such an impressive and model employee in Horacio!

I am so regretful to choose this company. We agreed on the price before they fixed my heater. It was around $1200. They fixed it. I made the payment on the same day. After a few day, I figured out they additionally charged my credit card $169. They told me that it is for annual maintenance for AC system. I told them I had not asked for annual maintenance for my AC. Then, I received another $850 invoice. Working with them is like a black hole. You get in a hole and do not know what you will come across. I suggest you to keep away from them and if you work with them you should be ready for unexpected huge expenses and should check your credit card statement to see if they additionally charge you.Their accounting system is very bad. Somebody called me, examined the case and admitted that they did a mistake and refunded 169 and cancelled $850 invoice. Then, after a week another person called me and asked for $850. Today, another person call me to send somebody for A/C maintenance and again asked for $850. I do not know how unprofessional they are. I will never get service from this company.

I have a Lennox heat pump and I am very happy with it. It was installed several years ago and I haven’t had any problems. The value and quality was excellent and so was the service. I keep a maintenance agreement at all times. Today Joe Muniz came to service my unit. He called ahead of time to let me know he was coming. He was right on time and very knowledgeable. This is a great company to do business with and I highly recommend them.

Jeff & Jose recently installed a new Lennox HVAC system in my home and they did an outstanding job. They are experienced professionals and treated my home like their own. They performed their work meticulously and after receiving my Summer electricity bills, I cannot imagine a system operating any more efficiently. We had the pleasure of having Horacio and Juan come to our home for countless hours over a couple of days. Both gentleman showed incredible professionalism, knowledge in their field and patience. They represent the great name of Levy and Son in an outstanding way!

Do Not Use Them!! We initially had Levy and Sons Service Experts of Dallas, Texas to come out and repair a water leak under our pier and beam house. They also then fix the water line to the refrigerator off the hot line to cold and run the A/C condensation line that was dripping under the house out the house through the brick outside. Randy did a great job with all of these repairs. Since they were here, I asked about out gas line setup on the exterior of the house. Randy agreed with me the best plan would be to replace the main gas line that runs from the meter in the ally to the side of the house where the gas line enters the home. At the initial visit he tested the gas line and it held pressure, no leaks.Initially I was told it would take 1 to 2 days to complete. They started the gas line job on Monday Sept 16th. Monday & Tuesday (2 days) it took the excavation subcontractors to dig the trench. Wednesday the plumbers installed the new line. Then on Thursday, day 4, the plumber thought they were all complete and had the City of Garland Inspector out to verify that all the gas lines are holding with a pressure test. The City Inspector approves the inspection. I then get home that afternoon and the plumber assistant is wanting on me so he can relight the water heater. We both walk into the house and there is a strong smell of gas throughout the home. My question how did it pass the city inspection? The plumber looks around testing for leaks and finds one at the gas compression tee fitting they installed under the house. Sets up for another pressure test and there is a noticeable drop in pressure on the gauge. He works all evening with no luck of finding the leaks. He tells me they can meet me the next day, Friday, day 5, at 10:30am to work finding the leak. I get home to let them in from leaving work and no one is here as they said they would be. I call the main number and ask for the Supervisor named Alex. It is a big run around to be able to reach anyone in the company, they have purposefully set it up this way. They gave me a lot of excuses but not answers. There was a family emergency with the plumber, so he could not come I was told, BUT this was not communicated to me. Alex was no help what so ever on the phone, and he would not even give me his supervisor to talk to, saying it was only him, knowing that everyone has a boss. Just send out another plumber, as told him as they are not a mom and shop! Obviously, he is trying to coverup all the issues we are having to his supervisors. They finally send a different plumber, Alfredo and two assistants, around 3pm Friday to find the gas leaks, of which he found multiple and repaired including the gas lines that they had just installed. He did a great job working to get all the leaks corrected. Now on Saturday I check my sprinkler system to make sure nothing was damaged, only 2 of the 8 zones works! Then on Monday 9/23 the Licensed Master Plumber finally calls after I asked for multiple times for him to come out, because of all the issues with the gas leaks. He is now going to have a Sprinkler company come out to repair the damage to the sprinkler system. Finally, on Thursday, day 10, the sprinkler company comes out to repair all the damages to our sprinkler systems, which took them almost two hours to repair.They were obviously in a rush to get the job done and move on to the next one. Keep in mind not even one time was it communicated to me when they would be out to work any of the days; I would call the main number and they would tell me oh yes, they are scheduled to come out today, but yet never informed the customer. Did not take the time to seal the new openings around the gas line. The smeared their hands all over the painted brick of the house where they were working, I had to repaint the side of the house, and they wiped their hands off on my cedar fence by the meter with gas pipe dope all over it and left a mess of parts in the hot water pan. Dripped PVC Primer and Glue on our Oak wood floors.

We’ve been using their service for many years and have always received stellar service and care from wonderful technicians. A late night service call tonight though showed me this company and their techs are even better then I thought. Tonight Eric C, make that “Eric the Great”, came by after 9:00 o’clock at night, listened intently as I explained what I thought the problem, and had the problem resolved in less then 30 minutes. He was both courteous and professional, and as wonderful as all the techs have been over the years I think I’d have to rate him #1; which is saying something! Thanks Eric!

David the tech came out and explained everything to me, about what needed to be done. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He did the job and took care of all my needs and worries. Our plumbing problem was solved in an efficient, professional and courteous manner by our technician, Patrick Barnes. The price for the repair was reasonable and Levy was very responsive...at one time there were three Levy trucks at the house. This is why I am and will remain a Levy customer.

We had several minor problems that showed up with a bathroom and kitchen sink, as well as an out door faucet. We were amazed at how quickly and expertly Jonathan was able to fix these for us! Levy and Son have been our plumbing and heating/cooling maintenance company for many years, and we are always pleased with the work they do for us!

My experience has been totally opposite to the other 2 reviews (which are the same review posted twice).I have been a residential customer of Levy & Son for 30 years & have always found them to be fair & honest. Service personnel are prompt, courteous, competent, efficient, clean. They answer all my questions, advise options where appropriate, finish the work without delay, and always clean up afterwards.I have tried other plumbers over the years & am always sorry that I did. I will never use anyone but Levy & Son.

Juan P. was my service technician and he was very respectful and helpful in unclogging my AC unit. Levy and Sons sent someone to my place the same day I called which was very surprising and appreciated. There pricing was a little high for what seemed like an easy and common issue but I would recommend them on every other level.

Technician came, broke my pipe and left, saying there wre not responsible (even though they had installed it originally). Also, they keep charging me $99 that were paid already.Very expensive, untrained technitians.You will have to call many times. Keep good records of your calls, because each time you call, you'll have to explain again. Supervisors are too busy. No one will call you back, and no one will try to fix the problem...and no one will take responsibility.Be wise: don't use levy and sons.

Jacob Morgan did a great job installing a tankless water heater in our home. There was a problem with an existing shower valve that caused issues. He meticulously traced down the source of the problem and got it resolved. We highly recommend him and Levy & Sons.

Was really hoping for a positive experience based on the reviews. Was scheduled for a technician between 2-4 pm and received a call at 5:21pm that a technician could head my way. Would have been a better experience if someone would have called before 4pm to say the resources were running behind. Thankfully I was able to schedule another plumber (not from L&S) for tomorrow morning.

My husband accidentally pierced a pipe while hammering baseboard in. Patrick Barnes came out on a Sunday evening and had us all sorted out quickly and efficiently. He was courteous and kind, and even helped me catch my dog when she slipped out the front door.Great company. Would highly recommend these guys. Am considering having them do our A/C tuneup as well.

I've used Levy and Son for 20 years. Last week Jim Clark came to the house to help me figure out a solution to cool my home office a bit better. Today Horacio and Roger were out as scheduled, on-time, pleasant and quite professional. I simply can't think of a better run company than Levy and Son. Admittedly they're not the cheapest price in town, but when it comes to my HVAC needs in Texas I'm not looking for cheap, I'm looking for best. Levy and Son qualify themselves time and again for that title and that's why I remain a loyal customer.

These guys are unbelievable, and dishonest. Gave estimation for a service that we needed and we agreed for that price. Instead of scheduling the work order, they sent 3 other estimators each day for no reason. Eventually, when we called to ask why they are not started working, we were told there is a pricing issue. Levy & Son came out to fix our broken water line to the house and was able to take care of the problem quickly and efficiently. There was no question on the charges or surprises. Waited 6 months for Husband to fix my sink (leaking) in bathroom and toilet from continuously running. Our HOA recommends Levy and Son and I see them all the time in our neighborhood so I decided to call and set up appointment for plumbing and AC. Plumbing has been out and was inexpensive and my relationship with my husband can now be on a non-nagging relationship again. The service person was professional, quick and both items are fixed. We will use them again! My only question is Why did I wait so long to call? Thank you Levy and Son.

Bernie is the BEST! My system went down during this past cold spell. I tried a few things but wasn't able to resolve my issue. The interior of my home was 55 degrees (downstairs, colder upstairs!) for over 36 hours! DYING!! Bernie quickly resolved my issue! Right away he determined that a few wires had come loose, he had us up and running in NO TIME! I was prepared for the worst price wise, but was shocked when he gave me my total! SO much so that I bought the service plan! ONLY $144, at $12 a month for him to come back twice a year to tune up/check my machine! THANK YOU BERNIE! THANK YOU LEVY and SONS! We're toasty warm again!

Based on a referral, I contacted “Levy and Sons” Friday, April 23, 2021 to replace a sump pump. He scheduled my appointment for Monday, April 26th between 10:00am and 12:00 pm. I received a called cancelling the appointment at 11:19 am. Another appointment was scheduled for the next day, Tuesday, April 27th between 2:00 pm and 4;00 pm. I received a call cancelling that appointment at 3:51 pm. Another appointment was scheduled for the following day, Wednesday, April 28th between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. When Dustin and Tyler arrived between 8:45 and 9:00 am they were very pleasant.They performed their assessment and verified the sump pump was not operational. I was given a quote of $1850.00 to replace the pump…which was extremely high. I asked if he could bring the price down. Dustin politely indicated the price could not be decreased. Because I use the sump pump to prevent rain from coming into my house, and rain was in the forecast, I agreed to have them perform the job.When they left to pick up the part/s, I reconsidered. I decided to get other quotes. When Dustin and Tyler arrived back to my house, I informed them of the change. Dustin provided another quote of $1400.00 that he would honor for 5 days. The amount I was charged for (not quite) two hours spent verifying the pump’s inoperability, traveling to the parts store and to their shop was $349.00 ($99.00 service fee, and $125.00 and hour for two technicians). If I decide to have them perform the work, the $349.00 will be subtracted for the $1400.00 quote.Based on this experience, I am giving this company 2 stars for the politeness of the technicians. Zero stars for last minutes cancellations, and zero stars for the extremely high quotes.

Leo Escobar did a great job of unstopping our very clogged kitchen drain on a recent Sunday morning. He was efficient and knowledgeable and explained exactly what and why he was doing all along the way. Leo was wonderful about wearing indoor booties (without being asked!) and placing coverings on our counters and floors to avoid a big mess. Thanks, Levy for outstanding service.Let me add a shout-out to Horacio, as well, who conducted our HVAC inspection last week. He was very professional and well-organized. During his inspection, he found a part in our compressor that needed replacing and was pro-active in checking on our AC warranty, thus saving us money. He arrived exactly as promised the next day to install the part.We appreciated his skilled, courteous service.

Just had a complete HVAC system installed by Levy and as a long term customer they delivered everything promised and the installation was done quickly and professionally. So apparently the work Levy and Son does is somewhat substandard. After having my furnace replaced, today I had the Grand Prairie city inspector come out to approve it. The inspector showed up at 9:30 AM and failed the installation. He said they needed to seal the outflow part of the equipment by the vent ALL the way, not 3/4 of the way. He called and told them what was wrong and left his number so i could call him directly to come back out and inspect it. Levy & Son rep, S. VanderMolen promptly called to let me know a technician would be on the way right after finishing a job. It is now 2:27 PM with know word or technician in sight! 2:33 PM (after calling for an update) I've been told another tech is on the way right now, as the other one is still working on the same job. I'm not sure how busy they are but you would think they would have people on staff that would be on site when the inspector arrives or be easily dispatched to fix any issues. This has now cost me a vacation day and this is a big inconvenience!!!!UPDATE: 3:43 PM the technician came out and revised the work and it only took about 10-15 min! Unfortunately, the inspector is now unable to re-inspect it and I had to reschedule for Monday at 9:30....so now I have to take more time away from work thanks to Levy & Son.

Levy & Sons is the best!! My HVAC was out for a while. I was highly quoted by several other companies. The technician had compassion for my situation and worked on a better price to suit me. They were on time & very professional. Communicated everything to my understanding as they were installing in my new AC system. I would recommend them to anyone for their HVAC needs.

I've been waiting for a fan motor that was supposed to be overnighted and installed for 2 1/2 days. Cannot get the service manager to return my calls. Levy is not what it was when Mr. Levy was alive. My family has been a customer of Levy's for decades. I've been told that there's a shortage of a/c parts, but that doesn't explain the lack of communication on the status of my part that was supposed to be overnighted.

I called Levy and Sons for a second opinion after another company told me I needed to replace my entire AC system. The technician, Daniel G., was one of the most knowledgeable and thorough technicians I've ever met. He explained everything that he checked, and why, and he was able to quickly root cause the issue to a failing capacitor on the blower motor. The pricing and labor are very fair. I can't recommend this company and Daniel's work enough.

Fast and very professional. Bryan S. was great and friendly. Came on time and got the problem fixed very quickly! Highly recommend.

Had them come out to provide a quote to fix some piping. They wanted to dig and replace way more pipe than was necessary. They also wanted to charge a $99 service fee, which was not disclosed at all (on their website, confirmation email, when arriving on the job or when I spoke to them the morning of, to confirm my appointment). Their sales tactics are terrible.Luckily I was able to wait a day and get a reputable plumbing company out to fix my issue at 75% less cost ($1k rather than the $5k they quoted).Their prices for a gas pressure test are also $245 more than a reliable competitor who I went with.Service tech was professional, but the tactics to get me to part with my money, rather than fix just the issue were terrible.I would avoid at all costs.

We have been using Levy Plumbing for many years. The office personnel is always friendly and professional. We have always appreciated the Levy plumbers who have done the work. They have always been friendly, knowledgeable hard working folks who are genuinely concerned with the customer and the job. Up until recently I thought that, while not cheap by any means, the price charged was more or less fair for the great service we received.Suddenly without warning or notice their prices have jumped more than 30%. A job to replace the hot and cold stops and unclog a slow draining bathtub which would have been around $400 is now $653.00! Talk about gouging.I don't know what Mr. Gregory Everett (manager) was thinking when he put the new price structures in place except he saw an opportunity to gouge good clients.Under the old system I would have given Levy a 5 star rating across the board. The new pricing system has dropped my rating to a 2. I give them a 0 if it wasn't for the terrific office and plumbing staff that we appreciate so much.Shame on you Mr. Everett for destroying the good name of Levy plumbing. I hope Mr. Levy haunts you in your dreams. We have been good customers for many years and have spent thousands of dollars with Levy and Son. It looks as if we are on the lookout for a new reliable and FAIR plumbing company.For anyone reading this review all I can say is, Buyer BEWARE!

I have been a Levy & Son GMA customer for two decades. Recently, the Freon line to my heat pump was damaged. Daniel Garcia came out on the service call. He has been out previously on scheduled service visits. It's nice to see the same tech. Trying to locate the leak took some doing but he stayed on the job until it was located and repaired. I have also used their plumbing department over the years and have always found them to be prompt and competent. Daniel exemplifies their professionalism. I wouldn't call anyone else.

Have used this company for years, for major and minor plumbing jobs. They have always performed first rate. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good company that stands behind its work.If you're updating any bathroom appliances, get Alfredo to do the installation! He did a jam-up job. Replaced a capacitor on my outside AC unit and the start up kit. Tyler was very professional and responsive highly recommend. Did not try to upsell me a bunch of random things I would use them again happily.

Just had an air-conditioning unit replaced by Levy and Sons. As always, the technicians that came to do the job were extremely professional. They were attentive to my directions not to let kitty wander outside while they were coming and going. They covered the carpeted staircase with cloth on the way to the attic so as not to stain it. At the end of the day I could tell it had been strenuous work, especially in this heat, yet they were friendly and professional and courteous to the very end. This is a great company to rely on. Today's inspection by the city of Dallas pointed to a job well done. Thank you, Jeff and Jose!

Couldn't be more disappointed in Levy & Son after 20 years of service. After purchasing a new AC unit, I was promised by my salesman that a long-time mold issue in an older unit, which had been long ignored by Levy management, would be responded to. Many months later, and after many attempts to resolve the issue, no one from Levy ever bothered to follow up with me. Again, after sending a letter expressing my frustration and not renewing my service contract, no one from Levy ever reached out to me to try to remedy the issue.I did not post any bad reviews about Levy & Son on social media until today when a new repairman came to my home to replace filters after we made some home improvements. The repairman found old, very dirty filters thrown behind one of my furnaces, and another that hadn't been changed since 2015 -- despite many semi-annual tune-ups each year.If google would let me, I would rate Levy with no stars from this long-time, disappointed customer.

Had an AC problem after hours and Johnny with Levy and Sons called back promptly and arrived on time. He showed skill and knowledge in quickly finding the problem(faulty thermostat). He provided a workaround that kept us cool until we could get a replacement.

Garry Owens worked very diligently at our organization and was very helpful in resolving our plumbing issues. His knowledge and service is highly recommended. Good company and no shenanigans.

I've been a customer of Levy and Son for over 15 years. Their work is excellent and their people are very professional and courteous. I had preventive maintenance done this morning and the service technician who came out, Horacio, was first rate.

They said that my new house I was trying to buy was fine, I just needed to switch the shower heads. They were incorrect. Also they charge way too much money for service. I asked them to fix my garage disposal. All he did was shake it and charged me almost 300. At that point, he may as well have installed a new one. Do not go to these people. They aren’t all master plumbers either.

I signed up for their maintenance plans. I bought both plumbing and AC 2x per year maintenance. AC guy showed up to look at unit in attic and tried to upsell me to an expensive $140 float switch for the drain pan for a hot water heater. The problem. I would make sense if I didn't have a drain pipe already installed that would take the water outside the house if the hot water heater ever leaked. Just had it installed 2 years ago up to code and it passed inspection. So why trying to upsell me and scare me on something I didn't need. Second, he tried to sell me a $50 filter. Yet, I just replaced it 4 months ago. It's completely clean. Next, Plumber showed up for his separate appointment and told me he couldn't work because of the rain. So, you're a plumber who can't work in the water? So, I reschedule to today and my appointment was supposed to be between 2 - 4. It's now 4:30 and no one has called me. I called customer service who contacted the dispatcher and said that he'll give me a call when he's done with his prior job. Really? He couldn't proactively call me to let me know he's running late and the customer service agent can't give me any kind of estimated time or offer a credit for having to wait yet a second day off work with a no show??? Seriously? Go with another company and save yourself the heartache. This is not the Levy and Sons we used to know. No longer reliable or credible.

I received a free HVAC checkup through my energy provider TXU. I already have an HVAC person that I've used for more than 18 years. My new home has new HVAC units, but I thought okay let them come out, it's free with my TXU account. Not surprisingly they found something that they thought should be replaced. It's a venting pipe that the technician said should be smaller. I said I'd change it if that in fact was the case.I called my AC person and he said no, they're just trying to get you to do something that isn't necessary. I called Levy & Sons immediately and told them, thanks, but no thanks. Fast forward a a couple of months, these people have the AUDACITY to send me a PAST DUE BILL FOR $1,1125 for the free check up and the replacement of the pipe that they DID NOT REPLACE!!!!!!! I have filed a complaint with the BBB. This is a complete DTPA violation. Customers BEWARE!!!!!!

Bobby / Technician came out to replace our condensation pan. Did a great job, friendly and helpful. Made sure furnace was secured properly while removing and replacing the pan. We were in quick need of pan replacement to prevent any damage to our ceiling. Levy & Son responded quickly and was helpful. Thank you again to Bobby and Trey too.

Mark Johnigan & Juan Pineda came out to my house due to bad storm damaging my ac unit. Miguel & Moe were on time and did a wonderful job on getting my new ac unit installed. Very professional I would highly recommended Levy & Son. Will be using them from now on.

Terrible communication. After hiring this company for about a two years for our home and business we have had enough. The most recent instance of poor communication on their part: I had trouble with an outdoor AC fan unit so called to have it checked. I asked for the technician to call me when he was on the way. I unplugged the unit because it was making a bad sound. He didn't call on his way or when he arrived, the tech didn't fix the unit, he just plugged it back in. He didn't call me to discuss a possible problem. He was at my business for only 5-10 min or so and left without fixing our AC, in the heat of June. Then the billing department contacts me to pay $300... for what exactly? We contacted another company and had the issue resolved easily. We will not be returning or referring anyone to Levy & Son.

Ronald was just here to do our semi annual system check on our 2 heating and A/C units. he was on time, courteous and very efficient and friendly and gave us a clean bill on both units so we can now get through another summer and fall without worrying about things working correctly and efficiently. The annual maintenance contract from Levy and Son is well worth it and I highly recommend getting it.

I just had their sale rep, Mark Johnigain, over to give me a quote for a new HVAC system. I had booked this appointment 3 weeks ago and almost forgot about it until I got a call from them and from Mark personally. He was on time and very professional I got a really good education on heating and air conditioning systems. He didn't use any hard sales pressure , and I felt very welcomed into this company now. I definitely recommend to my family and friends as well as anyone who needs a quote for a furnace or air conditioner.

Answered questions and explained in a way a non HVAC person could understand.UPDATE: Now my AC is no longer working and it's 85 in my home when it's been 74 prior to this maintenance service. AND I'm being told I will have to pay for them to fix what they broke because I'm not a member of their service plan. I don't believe in coincidence. The AC will not cut on no matter how low I set it and this happens after the company gave me a free maintenance. Said everything was fine and now something is broken.

Just had Leo Escoba out to clear a clogged drain. Called Levy at 9:30 this morning, and Leo was here by 2:00. He asked a lot of questions, and he gave us a good explanation of what was probably causing the problem, what he was going to do to fix it, and what we could do in the future to prevent it. Very quick, very professional, and very efficient -- 15 minutes later it was all fixed. I would be quite happy if Leo showed up the next time we have a plumbing problem. We've been Levy customers since we moved into this house in 2008, and Leo just reminded me why we've stuck with them all these years.

Horacio recently completed our semi-annual inspection of our two a/c and furnace units. He was professional, polite, and very thorough, explaining in detail the results of his inspection. We have had similar experiences with all the technicians who have assisted us from Levy. We recommend them completely.

Excellent, honest and friendly service. Our technician, Mr. Patrick Barnet, called prior to his arrival, introduced himself when he arrived and started right into work after I explained the problem. It only took 15 minutes to diagnose the issue and then we sorted through our options. Patrick was patient and answered all my questions. We will definitely use Levy & Son again!!

The heating system went out. In two days would be Thanksgiving with guests, but we had no heating. They scheduled a service call for the next day.They sent Mark on a service call to determine the problem. He arrived on time, and called us before to tell us he was on his way.He very quickly identified the problem, gave us a quote. We could have it done the same day for a higher price or the next day for less. We chose the next day.He came out earlier than promised, texting us that he was on his way. He replaced a motor, and verified all worked well. He then took a good amount of time telling us how to balance upstairs and downstairs with our two thermostats. He also changed our thermostat to enable some additional options. He then spent some time going over the use of the thermostat.Mark is extremely knowledgeable about many things, and he spent time with us to make sure we understood how get the most from our heating & A/C system. I'm a technical person who fixes a lot around the house, including electrical, and Mark was a real treat to have out. And I felt he was completely honest with us.I highly recommend this company, and especially Mark, the one I had the contact with.

Jeff and David installed 2 Lennox heat pumps and air handlers. They were experts in installing the units in an efficient, professional and timely manner. Jeff explained and instructed me how to use the new high tech thermostats which they also installed. I was thrilled with the job which they performed.I was immensely pleased with the salesman, JP, who educated and advised me as to what would be the most efficient systems for our home. He made the entire process work from the sale to the installation. Since we have a very limited space in which to work, he was provided a lift to remove the old systems and deliver the new ones. I had a leak from a water heater in the attic, and Levy and Sons was very responsive - got Patrick out here ASAP to stop the leak and drain the tank. Great service. Then Jesse came out to talk through tankless water heater options. I was happy with the fast service and the good service and we're moving forward with an outside tankless water heater.

I just had Leo and Drew at my home cleaning out my French drainage system. The professionalism and kindness that these gentlemen showed was out of the ordinary---Leo could not be more informative and when he realized he had a piece of pipe on his truck that would help reduce the leaf litter falling into my drain, he offered to cut me a piece instead of me doing it myself with a trip to Home Depot. Leo explained the charges when he first arrived and told me that as he worked he'd keep me updated so that I would not be surprised at the end. I was very happy with what I paid for the work that was done. Drew was a charming man! As he sat and cleaned out 75' of drain, he explained to me the whole process and how to maintain it/when to know if I needed them again. I was so happy with my experience with these guys that I immediately sent in a request for annual maintenance on my heating and air---I want this company on speed dial! From the gals who answer the phone to the guys who show up to the house---this is a class act company!

They keep rescheduling appointments. When this time I asked why they were rescheduling again, I was told the technician just called to tell them he wants to start work late on Monday. My appointment was between 8 am and 10 am. This appointment had been getting rescheduled for 6 weeks. They call a day before the appointment to tell you that they need to reschedule. So the company is really disorganized.When I asked the dispatch lady to schedule a different technician, she said she does not have a different technician. And the attitude was like take it or leave it.Unprofessional to unacceptable level. Do not waste your time with them.

We only purchased the house in May and to be told by another plumbing company sent by the Home Warranty Company that we were going to have to chip out flooring and jack hammer foundation was stressful and upsetting to say the least.Levy and Sons saved the day! We have the Levy inspection plan. On a previous inspection, the technician was Horacio. I called the office to brag about him, but the message was not acted on. For our recent inspection (2/28/170, we asked for the technician to be Horacio.He is mannerly and thorough. He informs us of what he's doing and what to expect. He gives us tips on service and operation of our unit. I recommend he be giving some kind of recognition for his work and service. Extremely happy with Levy and Sons and the two installers, Anthony and Amar. Complete 5 ton install with new plenums and new hard pipe duct work replacing the flex duct on the final ten feet. Amar and Anthony stayed working on the installation until 10:30 pm, they could have left at 5 pm and finished the next day, but they went the extra mile or extra 100,000 miles and finished that night. The quality of their work is first rate. Those two are awesome, very appreciative of their dedication.

This was a semi-annual review of our HVAC system. The Levy technician was David T. He did a thorough review, answered my questions concisely and bottom line, did a top-notch job. I have been a Levy & Son customer for decades - they do an outstanding job every visit!

Great experience from calling in for an appointment to having a professional and courteous tech arrive.Justin was very helpful explaining what the issues were and how to prevent future problems. Also, the lesson learned was that if I had called the plumber first, I could have saved the rental of an auger and a week of my husband saying that he could fix it.

Justin was superb today. We had a clogged bathroom drain and we have out of town guests coming in for the holiday. He quickly identified the problem and fixed it! Justin was professional and courteous and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. We just moved to Dallas and will now use Levy and Son for any future plumbing needs.

Worst experience ever! Tech came told us our coil was frozen because of leaks and needed to thaw. He came back the next day and said there was leaks and that he needed someone else to come to provide the Freon. Why does a AC Tech come w/out Freon? He told us we would pay approx $70 a pound. When the other guy showed 2 hours later, he spent 10 minutes filling the Freon and then proceeded to charge us $170 a pound. He was very rude and pushy trying to sell us a new AC unit. Told him he needed to talk to the property owner (we are renters). He came by the next day and met with the property owner - again trying to sell equipment. She said she wasn't interested and he then became very condescending and started yelling at her. I have called the office 3 times to complain about what we were charged and the service we received. Nobody has called me back. We had the AC checked by another company who told us there was no leaks and he verified the pressure and temperatures were fine and no failures found in the system. Please do not every use this company. You will be sorry if you do.

This is a terrific plumbing company we have been using for years. They have done everything for us from unclogging sinks to digging up and replacing leaking pipes under our foundation. Every plumber they have sent is professional, polite, and knows his business, and we have never been dissatisfied with the work they've done. We were a little concerned when we found out they had been sold to another company, but today they sent Patrick Barnes, who has been out here before for different jobs. It is so nice to see the familiar face of someone who knows what he's doing and is a pleasure to deal with. They also give you a rough window of when they're coming out so you don't have to sit home all day waiting. I highly recommend this company - you won't be disappointed. I was not paid for this recommendation, by the way, I'm just a very satisfied customer.

Just had a GMO. Service was very thorough and professional. There was a possibility that I needed more freon, but Horacio checked with technicians in the office, and they suggested that we wait and see how the system performs in the hotter months before making a decision. So Horacio did a very good thing and a very good job!

Horacio and Anthony showed up at our home in Dallas to perform Levy's semi-annual 25 point master tune-up of our three central air HVAC systems. They were here for hours performing the most comprehensive testing I've ever seen for each system component from the thermostats inside, the blowers and furnaces in multiple attics, to the compressors outside. They paid attention to every detail, were extremely knowledgeable and professional, kind to our Jack Russell Terrier, and courteous to my wife and me. They were patient as they reviewed their findings to me in great detail. I would not hesitate to recommend Levy's service to anyone. That recommendation is based on the assumption that all Levy employees are as competent as Horacio and Anthony!

Called the number for the company that installed my AC coil in 2014 and found that it was now Levy and Sons. Explained that a coil installed in 2014 was leaking and should be covered by warranty. Was told the $70 service fee would be waived for warranty work. Service tech arrived and took literally less than 60 seconds to visually inspect the unit resulting an estimate for a new coil. Was told that even though the parts may be covered by the warranty, labor costs nullified the warranty aspect of the call. I was then charged an $89 service fee and denied any opportunity to speak with a service manager. The technician agreed to A$70 quoted on the phone. End result, I paid $70 to be told the warranty was worthless. I don’t plan to do business with Levy and Sons again.

Was very happy with Levy & Son. We had another company come out first and quote us $2500 in repairs to fix our heater. Levy & Son, and in particular Juan P who helped us, gave us a much more reasonably priced repair and great service.

I wish I could say the same about all the companies I deal with, especially the roofing company that drove the nail into the freon line that caused the problem to begin with. I have been with Service Experts for many years, and they have never let me down.

Beware of Levy & Sons A/C, heat & plumbing!! Levy has serviced my AC/Heat unit for a number of years. Last week I was due for a routine Spring check of my system and had the strangest most unsatisfactory service call I have ever experienced. For starters, they sent two people instead of the usual one technician. Initially I thought there were two people because it was some kind of a training thing but a heartbeat later I realized that while one was here to at least go through the motions of providing service, the second was here to sell as he came through the door handing out literature and talking a new system. This was not what I had requested at all! When I told him my system was working fine and I was not prepared to do anything at this time, he continued his hard sell telling me at least six times that even though everything on my system including freon checked out perfectly that I was operating on “borrowed time” and that my unit could (and would) go out momentarily! Obviously they had targeted me and my system since they knew from having serviced it that it was several years old, although certainly not ancient. Finally, after an hour and a half, I agreed to an appointment to have an estimate done for a new system simply to get them to leave. I did not intend to keep the appointment and I called first thing the next morning and canceled it as I do not make large purchases impulsively out of fear for things I don’t need. Having been in sales for many years, I was terribly put off by his hard sell fear-driven approach. I remarked to a friend that he had come on so strong that I was extremely uncomfortable and just hoped that they had not sabotaged my system.Well, sure enough, the first time it got warm after their “servicing” my AC, the system was not cooling properly. I think this is when I was supposed to call them back to see about purchasing the new system. Instead, I called Hammack Service Company who had installed my system and told them what I suspected had been done and they arranged to send someone out that day. Before their technician arrived, I received a call from Levy inquiring as to whether I now wanted to set up an appointment to see about a new system. Guess they figured I was getting pretty warm at that point. Told them I wasn’t interested, that I had Hammack coming to correct whatever their guys had done to my system. I received no response to my remark and no call back. Hammack did send a technician out that day and after about two minutes of inspection, he told me that the terminal to the compressor had been unplugged, was now plugged back in and the system was cooling just fine! It continues to work perfectly.I dodged a bullet but I wonder who else has not. Do they just try this tact with old ladies who have older systems or does anyone with a checkbook qualify? Go on line, read their reviews and you will see that I am not the first! All businesses get occasional complaints – this company has a multitude! I will say that they should have been clever enough to rig something to take a week or two of use to go out. Immediate breakdown just too much of a coincidence! So, again I say, beware of Levy & Sons!

Decided to go with a whole new HVAC system with zoning and A HEPA filter. The installation took longer than expected but in the end The new system is amazing. The zoning took care of all of our hot and cold spots. Shout out to Chow Bernie Bobby Joe and Joe as well as everyone else that pitched in!!!

Levy & Son has one thing on their mind.....upsale the customer. I have a fairly new AC/Furnace system in my home. I made the mistake of purchasing their maintenance plan this past year. On both trips to service my system their technicians went to ridiculous lengths to find “something wrong”. It’s always baloney. The furnace technician tried to convince me today that he saw “something growing” on an intake and proceeds to take excess time removing panels and doors. Then he told me all about the health hazards to these biological enemies in my home. Good grief. I just happened to notice that they emailed me an offer for a Whole Home Air Purification System. Hummmm.....Guess that’s where we were headed. They also don’t wear foot covers and always leave messes on my floors. Like I need more housework? Don’t use this company. They overcharge everything and lie about part costs. Which also happened to me last Spring when I had them attempt to repair a plumbing issue. Never again!

Our service technician, Johnny Rivera, spent quite a bit of time explaining his findings and recommendations. He took pictures to show of what he saw in the attic. He seemed very knowledgeable, was very courteous and provided understandable answers to my many questions. Great job!

Have used Levy and Son for over 25 years. Always get reliable and prompt service. Horacio did my biannual service and was exceptionally thorough and offered thoughtful advice about issues coming from an older air conditioner. Maybe get a few more years before replacing.

11/3/2016 - We had Jeff and his crew install new upstairs and downstains heating & cooling systems. Jeff was terrific. On time, well organized, and very knowledgeable. Explained the systems to me. Cleaned up very nicely. My wife and I are very appreciative of the excellent job he did!

This place makes your worries go away. We had a lot of problems when we bought out new house in Dallas. They work as if they are friends and family coming to help with your heating and cooling. Horacio was very professional and made sure to correct all of our issues when doing our tune up that came with our service contract. I highly recommend them.

I have been calling this company since last night. Explained that my toilets don't work and since they are 24 hours was told someone would come out and put me on emergency list, it is now 10 am the next morning and still no one has come. I called about 4 times last night and they kept telling me someone would come, called again this morning and was told someone would come. SO FRUSTRATING

Scheduled an appointment for 5/10/19 for the 2-4 time slot, nobody showed and nobody called. I called at 4:15pm and was told someone would be there in 3 hours. Considering they had already wasted 2 hours of my day, I rescheduled for the 8-10am time slot for the following day, then they called back and scheduled it again for the 12-2 time slot. Cutting to the chase, there were 3 different appointments and nobody ever showed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! And, don't rely on their Google Reviews! Check Yelp!

Levy & Son incurred almost $4000 in damages to my house in January! They did not follow through on promises and they have not followed through on their promise to reimburse me for the damages. The reimbursement was promised to be in the mail a month ago.

Booked a technician to come out for an AC issue. Levy and Son called me when he was on his way. Arrived shortly thereafter. Juan was courteous and quickly got to the diagnosis. He found the problem and fixed all within about 30 minutes of his arrival. I have used Levy and Son for a long time on my AC and they are always efficient, knowledgeable, on-time and courteous.

As always, I call and talk to someone who is very helpful. I have always had same day service, which is remarkable. Today Ricky Bell fixed a leaking faucet, but this faucet is a bit more complicated.... anyway, Ricky explained the problem, what he'd need to do to correct the problem and that it would cost a bit morethan other faucets because this one is expensive (and it not worth the money-but oh well) and is complicated. He did a great job and cleaned up the area well!!! Great service!!!

Lorie has the most amazing personality and customer service skills. There have been several times I have been in what I call panic mode and Lorie is always there to help me get through the situation. She has also taken the time to meet with the plumbers and managers who have been to my building to semi learn the ins and outs of it which I appreciate whole heartedly.Levy & Son also has an amazing staff of plumbers. There is one that has specifically taken the time to help me learn the ins and outs of the plumbing in my building. I have managed several buildings but none the age of the one I am in now. Darryl is amazing with all of my staff and most importantly, my homeowners. Leo was great. Arrived on time. Explained what was wrong with my clogged bathroom sink. Also mentioned that I might want to replace my faucet soon since it was leaking and that there was some corrosion. Snaked out the clog and did not leave a mess. Work was quick and the price was very reasonable.

Unfortunately Levy & Son does not communicate their pricing clearly before the job. We got charged the time it took for them to go get a fitting they didn't have and a gauge they use that broke . Also apparently they need a helper to go up a ladder. And the employees smoking brakes are on you to pay. 8.5 hrs. of work for a gas test. Remember, nothing was broken or leaking. It was just a required test. I can't imagine the final amount if would have had to pay for repair... Ask for estimate before using them.

Juan was fantastic! When our AC unit's motor failed, he went out of his way to contact the unit manufacturer to ensure the replacement part was covered under warranty (even though the unit was purchased by the previous home owner). This entailed several extra phone calls to the manufacturer, and at least one extra trip to the house for a signature, and he did all that and the repairs with a smile on his face.

I would like to take the time to share my experience with : Technician - Steven (282 - 00823). He was right on time at the scheduled time. Very professional and answered all my questions genuinely and honestly about the unit that he was doing to install. I am not sure about the quality of their work but their communication is not good. I have called about 5 times with questions about my agreement plan and every person says something different. Also, the technician that came wrote his inspection report with 5 year old writing. I cannot understand what he wrote. They seem like nice people but their information differs from rep to rep.

i had s simple hot water line hose issue with my washing machine. A call to Levy and it was fixed in 3 hours from the time of my initial call to the final fix. New hoses and no further issues. Just replaced two old systems with new Lennox systems connected to my Service Experts SmarterHome. Bobby, Anthony, Amar and Joe were fantastic. As I came and went running errands they focoon getting one system done each day to make sure I had heat. Now that they are done I can’t even tell that they were here!! Cleaner than when they arrived. Levy and Sons were called because the AC wasn't cooling well enough. Daniel came out and claimed the unit needed 6 lbs of freon. The unit only holds between 8 to 10 lbs. The unit is a commercial TRANE and has a sensor that would shut the system down if the freon got that low. Further he claimed that the unit should be horizontal when, in fact, the unit must be vertical to operate. He didn't know what he was talking about. This repair was made to a tenant's place and the wife of the homeowner was caught off guard and shouldnot have aporoved the repair. It was difficult to not go ahead since the conversation with this joker took place in front of the tenant. The tenant was the person who called this fly by night company. When Daniel brought down the filter, it had insulation in it. That filter had been checked 2 weeks earlier and was fine. How could insulation get into a closed system. Makes me suspicious. I was scammed and hope nobody ever uses Levy for AC repairs.

Andres arrived on time to do our inspection and was thorough and respectful. He took the time to explain recommended maintenance, with consideration of the age of our system, and talked to us about future changes, both his ideas and responses to our questions.

Tiffany was so helpful in securing the UV lightbulbs that Levy & Sons misplaced or forgot to include on the recent appointment for scheduled maintenance. I tried calling the office to obtain the UV bulbs only to be told they were out of stock. The company was unwilling or unable to provide the replacement parts that we had discussed for the last 6 weeks. Previously I received numerous phone calls from Levy & Sons regarding the need to replace the bulbs so you can imagine my surprise when told they were out of stock. Tiffany saved the day & replaced my UV lightbulbs.

Manuel diagnosed and repaired my water heater flow stop valve & outlet pipes. He added a new ball valve and a new water flow cutoff. He correctly diagnosed the first time & stayed late on a Friday night to finish the job. Great job Manuel.

Be VERY specific about who services your equipment or just go to a different company. Ask for Terry and Terry only. He's the only competent technician they have.Called for service because the AC was working fine, but the internal blower wouldn't shut off after cooling was completed. Tech 1: Bernie shows up and I ended up paying $1300 for evaporating coils to be replaced (more about this later). 5 months later, the exact same issue and this time a different tech, Joe M. proceeds to tell me the issue was related to my upstairs and downstairs units fighting each other. I knew he was wrong (BS really) but I didn't have the time nor patience to listen to him rant about a blower not shutting off somehow being owner error; another $90 gone and the issue persisted.I called customer service first thing in the morning (they all rate 5 stars) and asked to speak with a supervisor. Never got a call back. The next day, I called and asked to speak to a supervisor. Never got a call back. I called the next day (Saturday) and was told the GM had been copied and the supervisor would contact me first thing Monday morning. Guess what, I didn't get a call back.. Called again Monday they sent another technician (Terry, the hero). Free of charge.. Terry diagnosed this issue in about 5 mins. He didn't even touch any of the AC unit because he knew (because he's actually knowledgeable) that the issue was not AC related. After about 30 mins he had the control box switch to the blower shutting off as expected. He also managed to do this while he received no less than 3 calls from other technicians asking him for help on their service calls.So after 3 technicians; one who was competent, $1300 worth of TOTALLY UNNECESSARY repairs and no supervisor support, the issue was finally fixed. Thank you, Terry and customer service reps. And for the GM, you need to fire the supervisor; who you guessed it, never contacted me. I want my $1300 back. But no-one will call me, so I guess that won't happen.6/12 Follow UP: OMG, what a complete joke. I contact the customer support email as suggested by the Service Expert reply below and no-one emails, calls or sends anything back. I provided details and all of my contact information and not a peep. How ridiculous. I guess I should have read all of the previous 1 rating reviews before allowing these guys into my home.

I’ve been with Levy a long time and they always do a great job. Devante and Chris were out for my service and they were very thorough in their explanations today which is very helpful.

Leo Escobar came on Tuesday to clean out the pipes from the house to the street. He worked quickly since a storm was coming and got the job done. He was very courteous, helpful and patient. He explained that he could come out and use a camera to check the pipes but with the weather we needed to wait. Great Job.... will use them again.

Dell was awesome! He came to install a new garbage disposal; the $1000 pro model. Because the replacement was so expensive, he took out my old nonworking one and was able to make it work again! Miracle! All I paid was the service charge. Excellent company and the servicemen are top-notch.

Leo Escobar of Levy & Son was able to quickly unclog my kitchen sink, he arrived on time, and he gave me several helpful suggestions for avoiding the same problem in the future. I have used Levy for years and have never been disappointed with their service.

Johnny R. Serviced my system today. Very professional & did an excellent job.

Guy came and looked at my toilet. Said that I needed a major rebuild (which means replacing the kit inside the tank). Says you can do for $389 or replace the entire toilet for $750. I asked what was wrong with the toilet structure, he says well it over 10 years old , but nothing was wrong with it . I asked how much were the parts and he said $75.00. So wants to charge $300 in labor for a 1hour job at most. Was so mad got charged $89.00 for service call. It took him 1 min to diagnose the problem. Got on Angie’s list and found Al’s plumbing in Plano. They charge $233 for major and $156 for minor repair. The guy was such a jerk in the way he was trying to up sale me in buying a brand new toilet .
