They arrived promptly to address my clogged toilet but the resulting excavation caused damage to my nearby shower tile (chipped off and broke) and crew did not adequately protect the walls with plastic, so there’s dirt from handprints and footprints on several walls. This is not cleaning off. This will like likely require repainting. They didn’t even have a shop vac. They used a broom to sweep. I am very disappointed in the damaged shower tile, dirty walls, and dirty condition of the floor. I let them use my shop vac. I never have had a service provider leave damage behind on a job.

Absolutely disappointed with this company, called them to fix a really bad smell from kitchen sink. He was over 7hrs late. Came in and said his guess was as good as mine. Follows up to implement fear of the worse case scenarios after all we wanted was pipes to be cleaned. Instead doing what I called them for, he went on and suggested several ridiculously expensive options. I’m not a plumber but first thing I would have done is try and clean the pipes which was the and the posted for $99. Total lie!

I had a toilet leak due to the fact that I tried replacing a toilet fill valve and was not successful. These guys came over in a little over an hour, spent about an hour doing the job and charged me $114, on Easter Sunday. Thank you for keeping your fees reasonable, Rescue Rooter. Every point of contact went great and above expectations. Was turned away by 2 other companies and told it’d take 3-4 days to get someone out. Had someone out within 2 hours! Gladimir, my technician was polite, courteous and made the entire experience something to remember. Very disappointed. This company sells fear and were not upfront with me. I initially hired them to camera my plumbing because it kept getting stopped up. They said it would cost $90 and that i would be able to get the house camera-ed. They ended up charging me over $700 and I didnt even get the camera footage even though that's all i wanted.Upon arriving they also tried to sell me on all sorts of other problems that we had, that other plumbers said weren't a big deal and can be used as scare tactics. I have not had any issues despite what they said would occur, so its evident that they were wrong.I will never use or recommend them.

They were able to unclog the pipes quickly however their website shows a special price for main drain cleanout which is what I had done that was around $90 but I was charged over $300. When I asked why I was being charged so much the guy told me that price was for Monday thru Friday only. I told him no where does it say anything about it having to be on certain days and he said well that is what his boss told him and charged me over $300.

I called this company for a sort of emergency situation at our household on Saturday morning. Bo came out just before noon and fixed the problem right away. He was professional and had the knowledge and tools to provide a job well done. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of some plumbing issues. I am so satisfied with Rescue Rooter. Mike Ganger came out to service a very clogged sink drain. He thoroughly explained how the plumbing system worked. He jetted the the sink drain out on the roof. Using 2500psi removed what felt like 6 grease clogs quickly. He took his time and did the job correctly. We had tried everything, even using a commercial auger numerous times. He guaranteed his work. Anytime we have another plumbing or AC problem, we’re calling Mike at Rescue Rooter!

BBB Complaint Filed. On October 5, I called ARS to unclog the main drain line at one of my rental properties. Technician tried to upcharge me, couldn't fix my problem and lied about a collapsed drain line. THEN charged me a $75 trip charge.I immediately called the City of Dallas to check the collapsed line and another drain clearing company. The other drain clearing company cleared the line in 20 min. without a problem. He also ran the lines in both bathrooms because he had a few extra minutes. No slimy up-charging -- just cleared my drain. The City of Dallas also checked the line and stated that there is no collapse in any part of the line. The technician was terribly trained and was only interested in up-charging with an initial estimate of $400+. I consider this behavior to be unethical. Not a trustworthy company in my opinion.

They did not do a thorough job, missed the real problem but quoted me a high dollar repair and offered a 12yr financing option. Bait & Switch. Sent a mailer offering drain cleaing for $83, then tried to sell me a pressure drain cleaning for $440. Refused to do the $83 cleaning advertised, saying that it was only for the kitchen sink. When I showed them their mailer, they said they would honor it, but by that time I longer wanted to do business with them. The technician then drove away. Then they sent me an invoice for a job they did not perform.

ARS Rescue Rooter certainly redeemed themselves on this issue. Once the right tech was sent out (James), he apologized for this not being done right the first time. He said he'd get it done right without charging me anything additional. Then he cleaned the flame rods which fixed the flame outage giving the code 12 error message and I haven't had a problem since. I really appreciate a company that stands behind their work, can admit fault, but make it right in the end by responding to customer complaints in a positive and constructive way. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!I still think the company should be more transparent with their fees though so you don't have to wait and find out once they're already on your door step and have to pay a trip fee if you don't agree with the charge. Also, they are pricier than other plumbing and heating companies which is why I'm changing my original rating from 1 star to 4.ORIGINAL POST:I called ars for maintenance on my tankless water heater back in Jun 2022 because the flame would go out regularly and I'd get cold water coming out of the hot water faucet. I hate that they won't quote over the phone but surprise you with a figure after looking things over and charge a trip fee. What's so hard about giving a quote for regular maintenance and cleaning? My water heater was flushed but the flame rods, manifold holes, and burner were not cleaned. So I'm having the same problem after spending over $400 only for a flush. When I called again for service on this same problem, they send out a tech that doesn't service tankless water heaters but can only do flushes on them. So the appointment is rescheduled now but the scheduler made all kinds of excuses why the wrong tech was sent because they didn't know. They have my invoice of what was done to the water heater last service trip that specifically says tankless and I wasn't asked so I thought they knew this already. They did agree to waive the service trip fee. Now I'll have to wait and see what they want to charge to have my tankless serviced properly and completely.

My sewer line was clogged and sewer was backing up into my house. The tech came out within an hour of my call and quickly took care of the clog. My issue is not with the staff or technicians, it's the misleading website that stated that it would be $99 to clean out the sewer line.I went ahead and assumed that since I had accessible cleanouts and that I get this done at least once a year that $99 ain't too bad a deal. But, I was quoted $347 and after expressing that I couldn't pay that (which I couldn't) the tech was able to bring it down to $180. Still more than $99. It saddens me and made me lose trust in this company that doesn't seem to give a potential client the fine print (or any print for that matter)..Even if I utilized the first responder discount, it would have been way more than the advertised $99.All that aside, the staff and techs (Jeff Martinez was our awesome tech) were absolutely great and I wish I could have them back for future work.

Very prompt response initially. Used them for hot water heater installation in coordination of Lowe’s purchase. Communication from service team was great; however the technician who performed the installation never followed up for permitting appointment. Upon calling the city on my own accord, was informed nothing had been submitted. A 3-4 hour install took almost 6 hours. After observing the technician sitting in his truck for 30 minutes we asked if there was a problem to which he responded he was waiting on another technician to bring a tool and assist in lifting the water heater. Guess service isn’t what it used to be but all in all the heater was installed and hot showers were in effect!

The technician properly did his work but as a relatively new employee, he had not been trained to use the tablet for billing. When he called in, there was no answer. Eventually someone from the office called and took my payment. The whole thing lasted about 45 minutes. Additionally, the price was extremely high for a very small repair that only took minutes.

The company would not give a quote over the phone for a bathroom sink clog. Wanted to charge a rate for someone to come out and then give the quote and if I didn’t like the quote I had to pay the fee, I think it was around $70. I then said I would look elsewhere and they said they could wave the fee. I agreed and when the salesman/technician came out he quoted me at $400 and I rejected it. He said the best he could do was $350. I rejected it again and sent him on his way. This was a simple job, likely to take him about 20 minutes. I ended up doing it myself for about $4.00 in parts and 20 minutes. I would not use this company again.

I just felt like the technician was rushing me to make a decision at that very second when all I needed was a few minutes to talk to someone I trusted about the possibility of if the work really was that dire... He told me I had 5 minutes... So thank God for that... He did your mother a senior citizen discount... I just thought he could have been a little more understanding about my need to reach out to a trusted family member, who had already done most of the preliminary functions of the job assignment.... And I wound up paying $800 more than another company had already quoted me....

Excellent service. Oh how we needed ARS in a hurry, and they delivered ! We had a gas leak right before the last ice storm and had to turn the gas off to the whole house . ARS sent Darrin out to inspect for leaks and he was fantastic . It took around 3 days to get our gas back , but we were so very grateful . Great service . Would highly recommend !

I had a great experience with ARS. I needed a new AC unit after mine died and contacted Home Depot, Costco and Baker Brothers for estimates. I called Home Depot over the weekend and Kevin from ARS, their local partner for installation, came to my home on Monday morning to provide the estimate. He explained the problems with my existing set up (including a furnace that was too small, missing safety valves, sediment traps etc) and provided a comprehensive estimate for the new system. He was friendly and professional and provided great information about my options, while being respectful that I was gathering other estimates due to the significant cost. ARS's estimate ended up being the best and I contacted Kevin on Tuesday afternoon to say I wanted to move forward. He came to my home after his last appointment of the day in Fort Worth (after 5pm) to do all the paperwork, and told me the technicians would be at my home at 8am the next day (Wednesday) to install the unit. I thought that sounded too good to be true but sure enough, at 7am on Wednesday the technicians called to tell me they were en route and were at my door at 8:02am. They worked a long, hot day in my attic (and in the light rain outside) but by 6pm Wednesday I had a new system that was up to code and functional. They also registered my machines online and showed me pictures of everything with instructions on maintenance. The financing was great too, with no payments and no interest for a year, and a better interest rate than other estimates. Overall, very pleased with my experience and would recommend this company to others.

I made a morning appointment. For the next day, the guy arrived LATE! They said 8am to 10am. 10:49. The guy still not here, came in and then gave me a Ridiculous estimate for a simple “kitchen sink plugged”. Of over $400. I paid the service fee and contracted another company. That did come on time and price was $250 less!!! Do not hire. Unless you want to waste your money.

Quick response time. Within minutes(at 10pm) they called to setup an appointment. Called me before the appointment to confirm and they were willing to work with me on a particular timeframe I needed and they were punctual. Jeffery Martinez was very professional and went the extra mile, he understood my issues and concerns and he broke everything down for me and told me what to expect. He was knowledgeable and also helped explain some steps for me to take on another plumbing issue that I plan to diy. He was very efficient and only took extra time because I asked alot of questions. Price was fair for my clog that I tried everything I could and was unable to fix myself. I just wish they offered like a bill me option so I could get it fixed and figure out the financial part later but not a big deal would just be helpful. I would certainly use them again if all their techs are like Jeffery. Thanks again.

I had a runny toilet and needed to replace a rusted out fill valve in the water tank. As the toilet was wasting water and I couldn't turn off the water at the valve next to the toilet (faulty shut off valve), I decided to forego buying a toilet repair kit from home depot for $20 and doing this myself.Big mistake. ARS/Rescue Rooter did come within couple of hours of calling. It's $50 for the service call, regardless of whether you do the repair or not. And I was quoted $330 just to replace the fill valve. The plumber wouldn't repair the leaky shut off valve next to the toilet, he wanted me to book another appointment on Monday for that. He didn't even use a complete kit to replace the rest of the old parts in the water tank ie flush valve, gasket etc. Just the fill valve...which you can buy from home depot for less than $8.With my faulty shut off valve, I couldn't do the repair myself unless I could shut off the main water line to the house. But with many water departments switching to remote water meter monitoring systems and locking the water meter, the main water line shut off is hard to open/operate for normal people (again unless we go to home depot and get the key for that.So I paid, $380 for the plumber to replace a $8 part in the water tank in less than 30 mins and not replace the leaky shut off valve or the rest of the old parts in the tank. Lesson learned. Never again ARS/Rescue Rooter of Dallas. You guys are greedy and this scorched earth pricing will come back to bite you in the long run.I will opt for local, independent plumbers or try my best to fix minor repairs myself. Thank you for the motivation :)Response to their reply: you certainly are the most expensive. $380 to change a fill valve in a toilet. As far as quality, I had to tell your plumber to reduce the slack in the chain from the tank lever, bc it was getting stuck inside the flapper causing the water to continuously leak in. I’m not a plumber in anyway so I’m surprised your plumber didn’t catch that. He also mentioned that he can’t replace the water shut off valve next to the toilet. He said there was an internal accident that resulted in protocol changes and I’ll need to book another appointment to change the valve. Why is that? $380 would’ve been tolerable if your plumber changed all the parts inside the tank and the water shut off valve.

Update. Home Depot uses this company for their AC service. Now at my mother in laws we are having issues with that department too. Has AC put in May 2021 and have problems ever since. This company is a jokeHad an appointment set for between 4-6. Got a call at 3 that the tech would be out here at 4. Rushd from mesquite back to irving and the tech was a no show. Called at 5 and was told the tech came at 4:30 and there were no adults here. Blatant lie because no one showed up as I was here. When the tech did arri5he had an attitude from the jump. Said the valve on the toliet was broke so I showed him were the owners of the property and we have shut the water off from the meter and he said that was the wrong valve and he wasn't shutting it off at all. He then said the city would have to shut off the water and then they would come back. I have had a plumber here before and they had no issue shutting off the water from where we have had to do it before. Funny thing is he said he was here but at the wrong address at 4:30 well I was outside at 4:30 and no one from this company was out here. I also spoke to the neighbors and no one showed up at their house either. They technet me with a major leak in my restroom and now it's worse than it was before the tech showed up.

Easy repair to change out drain valve. Water heater working great and in good condition. Slow drip from the plastic drain valve. I wanted it replaced with a brass valve. After an unsuccessful attempt at repairing a Moen faucet by replacing the cartridge, I couldn't get the cartridge out and I couldn't turn back on the water due to the valve leaking. I called them late on a Sunday and was able to have a plumber come by in the morning.The cartridge was very hard to remove but he was able to break up the cartridge to get it out. Very happy with their work.

I called at 530 the guy said that they would be there in 45min. I called back at 7 the guy said that the service guy was caught in traffic it'd be 20min. I called back at 745. A lady answered said she would contact dispatch. At 815 I called and said just forget it. The lady said oh no he will be there in 1p minutes. I said I've heard that before just cancele the call it's too late. At 830 another lady called me and said that the guy was right around the corner from my house and could we get it done tonight. I said ok . The guy got there and said that he had just received the call at around 8. Did a good job. There was no discount for the poor customer service though ?? ??. The guy who took the call originally should be hunting for a job today but he will probably get promoted.

So I had this company send a tech out for a house AC tuneup. Right away the tech told me there's a leak in our AC system because there's only five pounds of freon in the system. This didn't sound right since the house is only three years old but I understand that stuff happens. The tech told me he would have to come back the next day to do a coolant leak check to locate the leak and it would cost us $250. We had the tech come out the nest day and he said he found the leak in the coil and they could replace it for $5000. I told him negative since it should still be under warranty so I had HOUK inspect the system and of course they couldn't find any leaks what so ever. I believe the tech attempted to scam us and I'd recommend avoiding this company.

Lowes preferred vendor!   I was told same-day installation service if I ordered a water heater before noon per Lowes website.   Spoke with the vendor at 8:30 am on Monday.   They could not get out until 4-6 pm.  They called and canceled the appointment.   Showed up Tuesday at 4:00 pm and quoted $3,000 to replace a 40-gallon gas water heater.   Called a local plumber at 4:30 pm and they are going to complete the installation next morning at 10:30 am for $1,200 less than the ARS quoted.   Same service, the same size of water heater, and installation parts.   What does ARS give you for a $1,200 waste of time, poor customer service, and two days of delays?   Lowes should remove them from their preferred vendor list.

All tradesmen are paid commission. That's why they can never repair anything. I had a leak under the cabinet behind the sink. Guy came out and never even looked at the leak. Walked into my living room and said we could look for that leak forever and never find it. The best thing is to replace everything. TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Unreal how dishonest people can become, when they get paid by commission. A handy man fixed it in 30 minutes and charged 150$ .

UPDATED: I was finally connected to a manager who gave us a full refund because he was not able to solve the issue. We had to call another plumber. DO NOT USE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE POST SERVICE. We are having to officially file complaints with the Texas Board considering we've contacted customer service numerous times and she wasn't willing to rectify the problem and wanted to charge again for the trip out to fix their mistake. This company was called after a home inspector found the main sewer line clogged. They cleaned the wrong line, only servicing the kitchen grease line. They were called again after explaining it was supposed to be the main drain line so they came back out and charged again and then said no blockages...fast forward two months with toilets having no use (because Buyers haven't even moved in) and the home was flooding when sewage water started coming up from the bottom of the toilets in the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. The Plumbers failed to clean the main sewer line out ONCE AGAIN which is accessed through the roof- not the kitchen clean outs like they kept trying. They are not offering any assistance for a solution and the toilets can't be used until everything is cleared out. Customer service said well they probably won't even remember what they did and why they did it and they would have to charge to see what the issue is and come back out. Not the professional response you want when you've already paid them twice and they still haven't resolved anything. Plus this company's admin is very unprofessional, and was reportedly in shouting match with the Seller over this. Warning you, do not use this plumbing company!!

This company took advantage of a single mom in desperate need of AC. They left in the middle of the job with wires exposed and the unit as a major fire hazard. They said they would come back to finish, but never heard from them again. On top of it all, they tried to sell me a unit that is no longer ethically ok to sell. Terrible company. There are plenty of well qualified, honest plumbing companies you can find. This company offers no transferable warranty on any project. The previous owner of the house spent 30k to replace all cast iron to pvc in 2020, and there have been two leaks since I have lived in the home. Due to their subpar work, I have spent 15k on repairing leaks that should have been covered with a warranty. Thanks ARS! DO NOT waste your money with this company.

Beau was our tech and he arrived early from another job which was awesome. I was called in advance that he could come early too. He was well dressed, in uniform, personable, easy to work with. I know we were a little out of the way but they happen to have a job in the same city. He knew exactly what was wrong based on the behavior of the bathroom toilets and shower and unclogged our main. I like that ARS offers coupons, which was helpful to us on a weekend. Would definitely call again! Had to write a check though, credit card phone issue was a problem and no one at the office answered to take the card over the phone.

Elderly woman with clogged toilet. Bath tub and sink drain fine. $89 for Service Call, then $195 more to stick a little hand held auger in the toilet. Less that 15 min. Total $284. Told her the price up front before starting work, but she clearly did not understand the value of what little needed to be done. Totally took advantage of an elderly person that did not know what things should cost. Never again for us. Others need to beware of their outrageous pricing to unstick a toilet. No main line work, clearly stated the bath tub and sink drain worked fine. On other reviews I see they acknowledge they are not cheap. (Almost sounded proud of it) But $284 for 15 min to unstick a toilet for an elderly person. Wow.

I was hesitant to write a review for ARS because I never write reviews but Im very frustrated with my experience with them. I initially called them a few months ago to re set a wobbly toilet and install some p traps under my new vanity sinks. They were a little late on that appointment but it wasn't emergent. The price for the p traps and toilet was way out of line. total quote was around 700 which for an hour or so of work and some cheap supplies ( 20$ p trap kits) and bolts for the toilet flange seemed very excessive. I decline the p trap install and had him do the toilet only. Although he left a bit of a mess on the floor the toilet fix worked. I installed the P traps myself and it cost me about $40 in supplies and about an hour of my time.About a month or so later the toilet was wobbling again and they did come out and fix it free of charge so that was appreciated.My gripe is with my recent water heater experience. I woke up to a leaking water heater and cold water so I called them to come take a look since they had good online reviews for water heater repair. I was told between 8-10 am, then it was 10-12 then the guy finally arrived about 1 pm. in the mean time it was clear to me that i would need a new water heater and i did plenty of research about expected costs etc. He arrived and essentially told me it needed to be replaced and it would cost 2500 for him to do it today. I told him that i only needed a basic 40 gallon electric nothing fancy and that was the cost. He then said if i were to buy my own it would still be 1750 to install it claiming it could take him up to 4 hrs to do. He also indicated that he wouldn't install it til the next day and that i would be low priority. I kindly refused his services . this whole exchange took about 15 mins. He then reminded me that I owed him 69 bucks for the call and it took him 3 tries to run my card. 69 bucks, 5 hours of waiting and not even looking at the issue.With the help of a buddy i was able to run to home depot and purchase a new water heater for 500 and install it myself. Took me 4 hrs sure but saved me 1700. Sure wish i wouldve just done that during the 5 hrs i was waiting for ARS to arrive i could have possibly made better use of my time since i had to take off work. Ultimately i will not use ARS for anything else bc of the price.My recommendation is dont panic and agree to their quotes, maybe get other quotes first or do it yourself if you have to skill and time.

I was really impressed with this experience. I had been talked to at home depot and i called to get this done. Super easy to get to the right person on the phone to set things up. Really professional on the phone and they really did make sure that i understood the safety precautions they were taking. Technician was on time and very efficient. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!! The repairman came out and said he cleared our line but a few minutes after he left the washer backed up and black gunk was coming up the kitchen sink. The company says if you are not satisfied and they didn’t fix the problem you can get 100% of your money back. The customer service said they would have someone come today but no one has come and when we called them back to ask for a refund they lied and said they were trying to call us. We haven’t been on the phone. I sure wish I had read these reviews before calling them. Looks like they have a lot of complaints. The customer service lady was very rude.

We had a technician, Steven, arrive to unclog a toilet. He tried to clear the line, couldn’t fix it, then told us we had a main line break in the bathroom and would need to replace the plumbing. He didn’t have a camera to look so scheduled another appt for the next day. He took part of the bill off since he didn’t fix the problem but didn’t apply the coupon we asked him to. No one ever showed up the next day or called to follow up with us. We then had another company come out who was able to camera and clear the line all at once and for less money. No mention of cracks or breaks. This is the second time a rescue rooter technician has tried to up charge us. We won’t be using them again.

They provided numerous options and prices and helped inform us so we could decide what best fit our needs and budget. Once decided upon we were able to use one of the numerous financing options available and scheduled our install! I would highly recommend them again!

The young guy that came in, two weeks into this new job was able to clear my main sewerage line swiftly. He did not cut corners and made sure in different ways that the line was really cleared up. Gave a few tips to make sure this kind of problem doesn't happen again. They gave me two hours window and came on time. Will highly recommend and use them again knowing too that they give a 90 days warranty for their work. Great deal I got!!!

My neighbor used this plumbing company. They came onto my property and damaged my faucet cover to get water to wash their hands. When I called their office the dispatcher said We don't know what our plumbers do. I will have to pay to replace the faucet cover.

ARS was not not able to meet their own scheduled time slot. I made a reservation to have an estimate 2 days prior. At the time of the reservation all available time slots were open. I chose a morning (8-10 AM) window. Due to overbooking appointments they were not able to get my appointment until the afternoon. If they wont respect my time how can I expect them to respect my home? I was directed to this company through Lowes Home Improvement.

Our A/C went out and we went into panic mode since we have 2 little ones at home. We called to have a service tech come out and see what was wrong. Dispatch was super friendly and gave us a window as to when to expect the technician. The technician called us to let us know he was on his way. We were impressed with how quickly he had our system going - turns out it was a minor issue. Thank God!We were impressed with his knowledge and friendliness. He gave us a few recommendations and we took him up on what they had to offer. Only company to send a text scheduling an appointment but I got the text 40 min after the window closed. I called to reschedule the person on the phone seemed annoyed and said someone would call me back. I never got a call back I tried to call them back got hung up on twice. Tried to use their chat function that to was in responsive I shouldn't have to beg for a company to let me be a customer and give them my money.

Adam and Alfredo are absolutely amazing. We were in a nightmarish situation trying to close on the selling of our house when it became obvious that we had multiple leaks in our pipes. Adam worked hard and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was repaired to the highest standards. A job that could have spanned a couple of weeks only took days because of their work ethic. Even when they were digging tunnels and working inside of our house, they strove to find ways to minimize the impact it had on our home and our family - that really meant a lot to us. We also appreciated that Adam took time to answer our questions, explain the process, and set our minds at ease. Great communication and quality service - it doesn’t get any better than that. When the insurance claim adjuster came out, he said that their work looked like the work of a surgeon, and the city inspector was equally impressed. We really felt like they cared about our specific situation and made sure that deadlines were met and the work was done beautifully. Thank you, Adam and Alfredo, for taking such great care of us. If we ever have plumbing issues in the future, we know exactly who to call!

The tech was knowledgeable, professional and was not high pressure. I had him fix the outside capacitor.However I had to trust him that it was taken care of because he didn't offer to show me any part he took off or what he did. Being a single lady I'm always skeptical because I've been ripped off so much. It would have been nice for him to have shown me what he did or replaced. I have no doubt that he did what he said. In fact he was very good, friendly, and professional. Just something you may want to think about doing next time.

We noticed a leak in the bathroom over the weekend and sent a message out early in the morning for an estimate. ARS / Rescue Rooter called us at 9:00 saying they’d have a tech out here between 10-12. JT was our tech and he was fantastic! Professional, personable and thorough. He fixed the problem onsite and even double checked our water heater and meter outside, just to be sure there was no other leak. He clearly had a lots of experience and knowledge and was more than willing to make sure our needs were not only met, but exceeded. Our problem was fixed before lunch! Wow!

We came across ARS driving down the street. Decided to give them a call because all plumbers we had talked to were not available for another week. After coming out and assessing the issue, Daryl was able to give me a clear breakdown of what was going on with my sewage system, approximately what it would cost to repair, and most importantly that he could get a team out to start on Monday. Not only was Daryl a pleasure to have around, he was insightful and honest. We are so grateful for the hard work the ARS team put in to repair our sewage pipe and get our house back up and running.

The ARS Technician that came out was very professional and courteous. He listened to all that we had done to try and unclog the drain and determined the issue. He advised of the cost, which was good, and started right away. He had it cleared out in no time! From the initial phone call to completed service took less than 90 minutes!

First, I must give a 5 star review to the man who came today for our annual service. On time, right to the job, with great suggestions to keep our 12 year old system going for another 12 years. I would recommend ARS to anyone. However, getting their free seasonal service can be trying. They frequently can’t even keep an appointment in a 4 hour window. Very frustrating, but the quality of service is worth it.

My kitchen sink backed up and I needed someone to fix it asap! I called several places and was eventually referred to ARS. Someone was at my house within about 3 hours. Drew was awesome. If you need plumbing services call these guys! Had a toilet backed up and called them. They had a plumber there in less than 2 hours. His name is Joe! He was very nice, professional, had all the PPE on before coming in the house. He diagnosed the issue and gave me a quote. It was a lower price than I expected. So I gave him the go ahead and he had it fixed in just a few minutes. I will definitely use them again if needed. I definitely recommend them.

We received a flyer offering a $69 drain cleaning so we called and talked to the secretary. she said the regular price was $99 and we could use the $50 discount coupon and they would only charge us $49. We explained to her that the problem was roots and she said no problem. It is a Scam. The guy came over and said that it was only for a 6 foot manual cleaning and that the roots were over 6 foot from the toilet and he had to use a motorized rooter and that it was $525 after the fifty dollar discount. Unfortunately he took advantage of my 83 year old father. I was not home at the time or I would have asked him to leave.

Edwin, the sales rep, arrived the same day we inquired about an insulation job. He did a great job explaining everything involved in the project. The project was schedule within 2 days. The installation team arrived on time. They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. My husband was asked to inspect it afterwards to make sure it was completed to our satisfaction. Home Depot / ARS Promo. WARNING! I was approach at Home Depot about a tune up special for my AC. Sounds reasonable except now my system is not working at all. I ran the heat last night and turned it off around 2PM and the ARS tech showed up at 4PM. With in 5 minutes my Nest thermostat was displaying a message that the RC wire wasn't connected. Now they wanted a $80 diagnostic charge to find out what was wrong. It was working just fine 2 hrs ago I called the contact and she got a supervisor to come out. They arrived 6:30 and at 8PM his conclusion was that my mother board and transformer were no good and it would be $700 to fix.My system was working before they got here and now it is not These people are crooks and scam artists

I have used them before and they were able to clear out my main line for $300. The guy that came here today went and check the main line and said it was limited access AND did not sound like he wanted to get anything on him from opening the pipes up to unclog. I live in a mobile home and have been under there 3 times to open the line. His recommendation was to remove the toilet and snake it for $600 which I know WILL NOT work and he sounded as if he knew it wouldn't either. Wasted my time. I won't go with these guys again.

I am so glad I called this company. Only a week after the storm that made it impossible to find plumbers my kitchen sink backed up. I called around to a bunch of plumbers but had no luck getting one out today and decided to call this company. The lady that answered the phone had a technician(Blake) here within an hour. After figuring out the problem and coming up with the price Blake got to work. The drain was a stubborn one and it took him more than one try but he was determined and he got the job done. I really like the technician; he had a good personality and was a hard worker. I’ll make sure that if I have any plumbing issues in the future that I will call this company and ask for Blake for a good job!

We have an older house in a great neighborhood. So some good with some bad. We have regular plumbing issues. ARS came out about 5 years ago. They did an amazing job of clearing the blockage AND cleaning out our old cast iron pipes.We had the same type issue Friday night. Andrew and Alex with ARS came out and did a phenomenal job! Because of great techs like them, ARS will continue to be my only go to for pluming needs.The best service for clearing stoppages is their power jet procedure. It’s basically power washes the inside of your pipes. This cleans it far beyond what any metal snake can do. It also has a one year warranty vs their normal 90 day. You will not be disappointed. I would recommend ARS to anyone of my family and friends.

Start to finish these guys were fantastic. The sales rep I talked to was Matt Sanders and the two tech were Padraig and Junior.Definitely ask for these guys. Matt did an awesome job going through everything and breaking down what I needed and making sure that I understood what I was getting. It was also nice that, even though it was the end of the month, he wasn't overly pushy. I was sold by the time he left but I had to do my due diligence. I had four people come out to give me quotes and not only was his bid the lowest, my dog liked him, which is important.Padraig and Junior walked me through what they were doing, answered all my questions, and assured me that they would not leave until my system was working. There were some hiccups, like my attic door being too small, and one of my original ducts falling apart (house was built in the 70s) but they're replacing my attic door (had to cut a bigger hole) and they're replacing my air duct. These guys handled every problem like professionals, even though it was well over 100 degrees in that attic. They did have to come back the following morning to wrap some things up, but I was able to sleep that first night, AC running full blast. It was amazing.

I called in and was told that a tech would be at my house between 10a-12p. At 11:45a, I called in and was told it would be another 1-1.5 hours. At 1pm, I was called and told a tech would be there by 2:30. At that point, I cancelled my appointment. They were going to be 2.5-4.5 hours late, which was unacceptable. Poor communication and missed appointments (times that the company picked) led me to pick another company. People were nice and apologetic on the phone, so I didn’t give 1 star. But being nice on the phone doesn’t fix the backed up sewer.

This company takes advantage of people, especially women and single mothers. I used them to replace my AC. They turned off the gas to my water heater. When I called them, they told me I needed a new water heater. We had just spend a fortune on replacing the AC and now the water heater?? I decided to call my handyman plumber to get a second opinion. He lit the pilot in less than 5 mins and only charged me $65 for service call. I will not use ARS again and will warn all my business clients and friends.

The guy that came literally didn't want to do anything and didn't check for a problem. The person that scheduled the appointment clearly didn't communicate to him why he was coming. He came and turned on my shower for 2 minutes and said he didn't see a problem. I told him to let it run, which he did, then he said yeah there's a problem and didn't offer any solution. A waste of my time. Never again.

I usually don’t write reviews but thought I should share my positive experience with ARS RR and Darryl. I had an emergency plumbing issue and after meeting with several other plumbers in the area I chose to go with ARS RR. Darryl came to inspect the problem and I found he was professional, thorough in his inspection, provided the very best solution, and was honest and fair with the estimate. Darryl put me at ease through a very stressful situation and next time I need any sort of plumbing services I will call ARS first and save myself the headache and time. Thank you ARS!

Chuck, the plumber was great. Very helpful and willing to explain and answer any questions I had. He was also very personable and yet still professional, allaying any concerns I might have had concerning my plumbing issues.My only concern was with getting the appointment set in the first place. The person taking my initial call was rude, and the company called multiple times in a row during a time in which I explicitly stated I was unavailable. Because they could not reach me during that time, they canceled my appointment long before the four-hour window even began. And when I called at the time I stated I would be available, the person who answered my call was very quick to try to blame me for not being available when I had already said I would not be.The day on which it was rescheduled, I was called early, again, even though this time a note was put in the system that I could not answer the phone before a certain time. The person who took my call at that point was very nice and confirmed the appointment. And then, I had the pleasure of working with Chuck. If I could have had THAT experience from the beginning, I would give them the full 5 stars.

Worst experience ever. The guy Steven who came to unclog the drain doesn't know what he's doing at all. He went onto the roof vent, tried 4 times and couldn't get anything cleaned up, and yet charged us $200 just to schedule a camera test. And guess what? On the scheduled test day nobody showed up. We called another plumber called hole in one, got everything cleaned up within an hour and paid $175.

We called last night for help with a leaking shut off valve. Darren came very quickly to the house around midnight and was so polite and friendly. He capped off the leak and told my husband he would be back this morning to swap the valve. Darren came back exactly when he said he would, fixed the valve, gave us some things to watch for with the new toilet that was the catalyst to the leak. Cannot say enough about this company, they were helpful, punctual, professional, and affordable. We expected to pay so much more for such a late call which turned into a second visit on a weekend. We will be calling ARS & Darren for all of our future plumbing needs. It’s also worth noting, Darren was so quiet I slept through his first visit entirely. 10/10 would recommend this company.

My rating was based on the technician stating a review would come and it was for him not the company. The tech made a small oversight that caused additional issues, leak and stains that were not addressed after numerous communications. I also highly suggest to get a detailed estimate as things stated in the sales pitch disappear or become a miscommunication but you still get charged for that misunderstanding. You also do not get a detailed bill to dispute over charges, luckily I have my misunderstanding listed in text messages.

So I call two other licensed and bonded companies which are reputable, oh those quotes were $3600 & $3950 respectively... I got ticked after the slime ball marketing tactics of $99 main line cleaning and camera. Crazy!!!! $99 to $445. Done! Will steer people far away from ARS

I made an appointment a week prior. The day of my appointment, I called them to check status and they claim they had wrong contact information, which is a lie. Then they claimed they had other jobs and rescheduled three times within the same day. Finally I was called after six hours for the rep to tell me there were emergencies in front of me like people needing hot water! What's the point of making an appointment if they won't be honored? When is s leak less important. Poor customer service and no respect for customer time.

We live in Texas and this time of year is not the time you want the AC to go out. We had several other companies come out. Then George Sillivent with ARS (Home Depot) came out. The process of purchasing an a/c system can be a pain, however Chuck helped make the process very easy. Chuck was very knowledgeable with which system was best suited for my home. Chuck made me feel very comfortable and confident with my decision. Chuck was very easy to talk to and a pleasure to do business and welcome into my home. The installation was done the next day by Mauricio and Miguel. They both were very professional and did a great job. They took the time to teach an old dog the new system - and I thank them for their patience. I will definitely recommend ARS to anyone who needs a new system.

We recently had to replace a tankless water heater that had been installed improperly by another company. Our service technician, Dustin, was truly outstanding! It was a long process that he handled with great professionalism. I am so relieved that ARS responded so quickly to our problem and sent a Master Plumber who knew what he was doing.I rarely give such reviews but the outstanding service I received from Dustin deserves my praise!

ARS / Rescue Rooter recently installed a 16-seer, 5-ton HVAC unit in my 1960s home. Every part of the process was top notch. I met the sales person at Home Depot, and they had a consultant to my house the next day. He walked me through my options, we agreed on price and install occurred two days later. I'd recommend them to anyone and will use them for on-going maintenance in the future.

Blake was very responsive and efficient. I called ARS Rescue Rooters at 3:15 p.m. with a main drain blockage and they assigned Blake to me who called me within 10 minutes. He asked for some details about my problem and was at my house in about 30 min. Blake was able to clear the blockage and process payment in another 30 minutes. Needless to say I was very happy that my problem was solved in less than an hour and a half from when I placed the call. I’d recommend ARS Rescue Rooters and Blake to anyone with plumbing issues.

When I moved into my new home last year, my AC immediately went out. I went with ARS/Rescue Rooter because they offered a comprehensive, worry-free deal complete with 24 hour emergency help. Well, last night I had to use that service and the technician arrived quicker than I expected and completed the job quickly all while explaining to me everything and giving me tips on extending the life of my AC/Heat unit! Additionally, the woman who answered the phone was friendly, understanding, and made a stressful situation no longer stressful! 10/10 would recommend!

They were one of the few plumbers open during the weekend and they were able to send someone out that day, others told me it would be the following Wednesday or Thursday, no thanks.They let me know when they were on their way and he had the problem fixed in no time. I have used ARS many times for different problems - stopped-up toilet, clogged sink drain, etc. This time, our water heater went out, and they sent James Neugin to assess the problem. Like the other service men who come from ARS, James was punctual, professional and friendly. He analyzed the problem, gave us 3 options to resolve it, and gave his personal recommendation for the best way to proceed. After we decided to go with his suggestion, he returned the following morning, earlier than he said he would be here, and promptly went to work. He kept us informed throughout the process and gave me an in-depth explanation after he was finished. I appreciate his work ethic and determination to do a great job for us. I am always pleased with the work of ARS, and this was no exception. I am happy to recommend the services of ARS and James Neugin. He was outstanding!

I had a technician out on 6/14/19 for what was an emergency based on the fact that I was leaving town that morning and had a house sitter coming in. We’ve had this issue before and each company I called I asked if “you get on the roof” knowing that is what they did in the past. It was our main line and running a snake from the roof fixed the issue in 20-30 min twice before. Your company answered yes to this. The tech (Drew) arrived at 8:15. He stated he did not want to get on the roof and wanted to pull the toilet. He was told several times we had to be out the door at 9:30. He got the job done and was gone by 10. Upon our return we noticed the toilet was not in the same place (slightly offset) and when flushing the toilet it didn’t sound right. Made a hissing noise. I phoned again and was told you are not responsible for resealing to the floor. Another tech (Bobby) was sent to check where it was sitting and the noise. He snidely told me “ma’am it was installed properly and sounds like a toilet should” AND wrote on his paperwork: “No problems found. Toilet set properly & toilet not making sounds” TODAY I myself moved the toilet back in place. Frustrated with the hissing sound I removed the tank cover and was sprayed with water. The hose to the filler was off completely. THAT was the hissing sound. IF either of the techs had simply opened that it would have been discovered. IF they had not dismissed me quickly, likely due to being a woman, this would have been resolved and I wouldn’t be an angry consumer. I paid $470 for this fix and KNEW something wasn’t right with the sound but was made to feel ridiculous when I brought it up. Incredibly poor customer service. I own a business and if I dismissed my client’s like this I wouldn’t still be in business.

ARS provided excellent customer service for the installation of my A/C system. PPE guidelines were adhered to during my initial consultation and installation of my A/C. Darrell was professional and informative. His expertise, knowledge and explanation of the various options, allowed me to select the appropriate A/C system for my home. My experience was awful and I am still experiencing the after effects, my foundation is cracking as well as my walls and ceiling. The cost to do the work was 18,000.00 dollars and now I have all these added problems. I am 75 years old disabled widow who has had a quadruple bypass and 4 back surgeries I can't take any more. My pipes burst because of the storm, I called and was told a plumber would be at my address February 23, 2021, then I got a call to reschedule March 6,2021 I would be priority, between 12-5 and a 10% discount, I waited until 4:45 they show up. I was told it would be $300.00 an hour, then I was told it was $250. Per item. The office needs to get there #% together, they are telling the plumbers one thing and telling the customer another. I believe I was over charged, and quit sending people out late in afternoon to do outside work, daylight doesn’t last forever!! Arron burned his hand under the house with the torch, it was very dark, the job ended, because it got to dark to work, so they didn’t finish the job @$1800.00 dollars later. The plumbers did a good job. The scheduling was wrong!!!!. I knew it was going to cost, but still no WATER!!! This is BS!!!..I will take my business somewhere else.!

Friendly, prompt, service but very expressive, and ultimately subpar work that had to be corrected by a different plumber. They charged over $1K for a repair that took two hours and involved few inexpensive parts. At the end of it all, the leak was repaired, so I am satisfied with that. Not super happy about the price. I paid it simply because l didn't have time to wait to get a different plumber out to do the repairs.After the plumber left, I hired a professional to repair the drywall where the plumber had to cut into the wall to gain access to the pipe. The drywall professional, informed me that the plumber didn't finish out the job as per normal protocol. The plumber replaced pipe and the valve for the refrigerator water line. Standard is that these valves fit inside a plastic box that inserts into the wall. In fact, the old valve was enclosed in one of these plastic boxes. When the plumber replaced the pipe it is at a different height and angle so the old box no longer fit.Updated 6-1-2020.I ended up having to pay a different plumber to come and and redo what I paid ARS to fix. Nothing like paying something to be fixed twice in 48 hours.Updated 7-15-2020Response from Management. Per the below response from management, I reached out the quality manager listed below. I did have one conversation with him and emailed him photos to support what had happened. He was going to 'check with management' and get back to me. Needless to say he never actually got back with me.

Dave was super knowledgeable and extremely nice. He took extra time to explain to me what he was doing, why he was doing it, and tested to make sure he actually fixed the issue, and didn’t just temporarily fix the issue. These folks give excellent customer service. I had an issue and called Customer Relations. Synthia expedited my call and arranged for a Service Tech to come out the next day. Paul came out and fixed my AC unit and checked it for any additional problems that I might not have known about. He was personable, friendly, informative, and also said he would be available for my contracted prepaid tune ups if I asked for him by name. Being a handicapped person, it is such a comfort knowing that ARS is keeping up with my cooling and heating systems. It gives me one less yhing to worry about

I Called, explained my problem. Bryan was out within a few hours(extremely prompt service) and found what was wrong. He was able to fix the unit quickly. There was an online special I used that made the service cost less than I thought. My serviceman, Chuck, confirmed the price when he arrived. I got same day service with no extra charge for Saturday. ARS arrived within 3 hours of when I called. Chuck was polite, professional, and good humored even though it was raining. Chuck was quick and finished the job within 15 minutes. It has been 3 days and everything is working great. I will call ARS DFW in the future and I will definitely ask for Chuck.

Very poor service. Got their details from Home Depot and got an A/C maintenance scheduled. Didn't do a great job. Filled really expensive R-22 refrigerant in one of the old units without checking for a possible leak or a proper estimate of how much it will cost. Said the bill was going to be a thousand bucks but then offered a 'discount' and we now we had to pay about $ 500 with zero improvement in cooling. The guy also said all four unites are quite old and he can replace all of them for about $ 45,000 but will give a discount so it will be only $35,000. Decided not to work with them and just pay the bill for the visit anyway but now I can't pay! They keep sending threatening postal mail on unpaid bills. I call the number on the letter to pay (have done it 4 times now) and every time their contact center says the local office will contact you or email you and nothing happens. Have received 4 letters and have called them four times to pay (for something that added zero value). Sorry state of affairs.

This company is a rip off and strictly into it for the money!!! Their customer service reps are RUDE and need to learn to some professionalism along with how to listen to their customers and NOT at their customers. The plumber that came out was GREAT! He was the ONLY reason why I wanted to proceed further! The plumber that came out gave me two estimates. I had a cold water slab leak that was in my master bathroom under my tub per the Jose, the plumber sent out by ARS/Rescue Rooter Dallas. My master bathroom is on a wall that's to my back yard. One estimate was for $3500 if they tunneled outside. Mind you, Jose was sure they could tunnel outside since my tub was right on the wall facing the backyard. The 2nd estimate for was for $4500 if they broke the foundation from the inside (and if I was going to use insurance). Since the outside tunnel was more reasonable and my funding would cover it, I chose to do that. I contacted ARS and advised I wanted to proceed after I had my money together. First of all, NO one called me to advise what time they were arriving to begin the job. After 8:30 am and not hearing from anyone, I contacted the plumber Jose and asked if he knew what time they would be arriving. He said another plumber was coming out and he would be to my home in about one hour. The plumbers finally show up. The MASTER PLUMBER Adam comes in and ask me was I ready for some noise. I said what noise, I wanted you all to tunnel outside. Per Adam, the only estimate he had was for $4500 which was to break the foundation inside. I went to retrieve my estimate which showed them both. He then said,I have that same estimate. I said, you just told me you only had the estimate for $4500. Then Adam came with some story that he couldn't put his guys in any danger and they would have to break inside. (MONEY HUNGRY!!!) After he was done with all of the testing, he stood in my front yard talking on the phone to someone NOT knowing I could hear his entire conversation. Whoever he was talking to, he was letting them know the leak was small and they could tunnel, but didn't know what to tell me. After scheming on the phone, Adam and his assistant plumber came in and FINALLY said they could tunnel, but they couldn't do it for NO less than the $4500. He also stated I could possibly have other cost associated with this tunneling. He then tried to become persistent with getting me on their schedule the following day for the dig team to come out. I advised Adam, I would call him back in a couple of hours and let him know my decision. What I did was call another plumbing service. When Adam called me later that afternoon, I advised I was using someone else who was NOT a con-artist and thought they were dealing with a FOOL! Home Advisor need to remove ARS/Rescue Rooter Dallas from their list of professionals and add them to the list of DO NOT EVER USE unless you want to be conned out of your money or a list for companies that DO NOT HONOR their estimates. On top of all of that, Adam, re-wrote the estimate and took my original copy I had with the two estimates. I didn't realize it until I started searching for it after they were gone. He thought he did something slick, but I had an additional copy. To top it off, after advising Adam I was using someone else, I received an automated call from their dispatch advising they would be out the following day to begin work. I don't think so! I'm going to make sure EVERYONE is aware they are a no good, money hungry, lying, underhanded business that do NOT honor their estimates! I also wanted to add that I lost my $200 that I gave them to do the leak test. This money was to come of the price when I hired them to do the job. After NOT feeling comfortable with Adam The Master Plumber, I guess this was a bought and paid for lesson!

Had new unit installed. 3 wks old stopped working. Called ARS Scottie was the tech assigned to my ticket. He took the time to listen to my concerns. Troubleshooted the issue, explained what was happening each step of the way. Afterward shared the source of the problem and took the time to explain to how my new unit should function what to expect. Scottie definitely saved the business relationship with simple, good customer service.

My service consultant, Kevin, was incredibly intelligent and very educational. I appreciated his kindness and demeanor around my family while in my home. As for the pricing of the varied services, I thought it was more than reasonable considering the value on energy efficiencies. James was the best plumber I have ever used in my life. He was prompt to arrive within 45 minutes from the time we called him. Very anaytical of the problem and came up with a solution to the problem very quickly. He was very polite and patient with his explanation of the necessary proceedure to repair the problem. His damage to the sheetrock was very minimal and his work was very impressable. Cleanup after completeing the job was very good.

My wife and I noticed on a Saturday that our 4 year old outside AC unit was starting to make a ruckus when it would run the fan. We dug out our install receipt to find ARS contact info and gave them a call. The lady on the line offered me 2 choices, immediate sevice csll at a little over $100 bucks or their standard charge of $79 if I could wait till Monday. Hoping for the fan motor to last another 2 days I opted for the economical choice, given a time slot of 9am to 1pm.The customer service rep from ARS made sure to call me and keep me posted of when to expect their repair technician to show up and again about 45 minutes before the tech was on their way, which on a busy hot Monday ended up being closer to 1pm.When on site, the repair tech made sure to explain what the issue was (confirming my concern about the outside unit's noisy rattling fan) and also made sure to disclose that the parts may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty and that he would also check our installation receipt for us to see if we had a labor warranty. Unfortunately we didn't have a labor warranty but he was able to claim the parts warranty with the manufacturer, which probably saved us at least half the potential total cost of the repair job.Even though it is simply part of his job, after identifying the problem parts, he took the time to drive the hour long roundtrip to the warehouse to swap the parts in question and return promptly and complete the work, all in about an hour and half start to finish, during which time understandably my family had to temporarily deal with no cold airconditioning at home (ceiling fans came in handy).While the labor rate/total labor charge (which was all we owed) seemed a bit higher than my admittedly unqualified mind expected for such a relatively straight forward repair job (though the driving to and from the parts warehouse in 95 degree sunny Texas heat and DFW traffic may almost be excuse enough), he made sure to check and show us that the problem was indeed taken care of, prior to providing us a receipt of payment and leaving the premises.All in all I was expecting the worst in terms of expense with my family's luck in such things, but thankfully we were relieved to get reliable and reasonable service.

I had a leak in the main water line where it connects outside my front door. I myself identified where the leak was. Then, I dug the hose up and had the line totally exposed. All I needed was a professional to cut the damaged part of the hose , and then reconnect it. I would then bury the line myself. This would have been a 20 minute job for a plumber. The man looked me in the eyes and quoted $1200 to do this. After I laughed in his face, he took a picture and allegedly called it in to his boss. “Great News! I can do it for only $600 now.” I regrettably cursed him out for trying to rob me , but let that be a lesson on integrity. I called another plumber, and 3 hrs later I had a team of 3 guys do the job in 25 mins in the dark. They charged me $250 and I gave them a tip which included a few beers. I will give their contact info upon request.

From the time I called, the person answering was polite, courteous and professional. John (J.T.) Townley arrived on-time, diagnosed the problem and gave me a absolutely fair price for the work. John then got setup and started cleaning out the pipe underneath my home. He took great care to make sure he cleaned as much as he could and was polite enough to explain what he was seeing and made recommendations for future work should the problem get worse. For now, our drain is cleared and the wife is happy which makes me happy. Thank you very much John. I would use this plumber again!

The fella that came out first told my wife the compressor wasn’t working. Then said the leveling of the unit was not right. Said he was going to fix that. I would also like to add that this unit is a year and a few months old, blowing cold and functioning besides a leak we were having. He did put a T post in the drain line, not sure if it needed that tho, and said he pressurized the drain line. Initially we called the guys out because we couldn’t get a hold of our installer and the unit had leaked and caused ceiling damage. After all of the suggestion and “repairs” he did, it started leaking worse through the ceiling. The part that bothered me was just before he was done he said he was not feeling well and had to go downstairs out of the attic. He was very suggestive on what we needed to tell the installer to check out or what was done incorrectly and needed to be fixed. I asked him if he would write that down on the ticket. He wrote 1 of 3. I appreciated him writing down what should be checked out on our unit, but the real question is, why didn’t he just do that. We paid them to come out there and repair our issue, he did not, but also suggested someone else does it. What sense does that make? We called the company about our concerns and they said they would send someone out. I asked if it would be the same person and the lady I was talking to said it could be 1 of 2. I told her we preferred someone else. Same guy called and said he was heading back out. I didn’t want anything to get worse so I said I would prefer someone else. My wife also talked about our concerns with this company and was told a manager was not available, but would call her the next day. The manager did not. My installer did come out today and check everything out. He showed me the readings he was getting on the suction psi and liquid pressure. Before I showed him the notes made on the ticket, he showed me the reading and explained that that the txv was damaged, nothing like what I was told before. The numbers written down by the service guy were also very different from the numbers I personally saw on the gauges. Made me wonder if he really checked it at all or if he was starting off with faulty equipment. I personally won’t be using these guys again and will be disputing the charges. You also should be weary.

Had drain backing up in bathroom on a Sunday and the guy came and fixed the immediate problem. He said they needed to run a camera to see if we had additional broken pipes under the house but he had not brought one. He said running the camera would be included in the service and he would come back on Monday to run it at no charge. When he returned on Monday he did charge $280 to locate where the break was under the house. Furthermore, they estimated $5000 to fix 2 pipes! Fortunately, we called Strittmatter, who completed the job for only $1500. We have called the manager twice who has not returned our calls.

We bought our new thermostat through Homedepot and they had ARS/Rescue Rooter DFW install it. We were advised on a day and time slot. On that day they called us and advised when the representative will be there. We had Scottie as our representative who assisted us. He was super profecional, very customer friendly and made sure that everything is set up right and is working properly after he installed the thermostat. We would recommend him highly!

ARS’s technician Barry R. was the best A/C mechanic I’ve ever met in my 10 years of working in real estate. He was extremely cheerful, highly professional, and extremely responsive. If your A/C system needs help fast, call ARS. They will be out to your place the same day. I was very lucky to discover ARS while walking through Home Depot looking for supplies. If I ever have any HVAC problems again, I’m calling Barry from ARS. ARS also does fast plumbing analysis & repair.

Had an unfortunate situation where ARS had to come out to help. During the entire process, I never felt pressured to purchase something that I did not need. Darryl was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the situation, options, and keeping me updated throughout the job. He would answer texts and did all he could to help. We were in the market for a new HVAC system and called ARS for a quote. Edwin came out on Saturday and unfortunately it was by far the worst customer service we received.We were upfront and told him we had others come out and quote us prior, which prompted him to ask us if he could see the other quotes and if they were lower than his quote they must not be installing it correctly or pulling the proper permits.We told him we would not be making a decision that day but he continued to push us. Multiple times I had to tell him I was not making the decision to which he kept trying to lower the price and make a deal.He asked us to sign the quote document and endorse the quote and if we changed our minds we had 3 days to cancel. Never having let us read the fine print to which it does not actually let us cancel. Luckily we did not sign it.He stated that if we singed the contract he would be out here Monday to install because he can push his other clients to Tuesday. If that's how you treat other clients that's not the service I want in the future.The service was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Commission or not, you do not pressure people into making and signing a deal on the spot, especially with a large purchase.(He even had the audacity to say that they never get one star ratings.... So to that I say, here's your one star.)

Wanted to give a review of the service I received and still receive today, several months ago I had pipes that were collapsing and need lot's of work done, THEY STARTED THE NEXT DAY. Job was finished in 3 days total and I had plumbing the whole time except for about 30 mins. I can't express enough of how wonderful they are.Once they completed the work they even hauled off all the leftover dirt and made it look like they were never there.Darryl Richard is an amazing. He just came back over when I thought I had a problem coming up, turns out the city line is the problem and everything is still 100% perfect with everything they worked on. I'm sure all the staff is great but Darryl is a awesome, caring person.You might find cheaper plumbers, but you will not find their quality and dedication. Mike got here, already knew what the problem was, and jetted it out of my pipes real quick. Had this problem off and on for years, and have had other plumbers come out, give it a quick snake, and say, seems to be runnin' ok now, and it really wasn't. I watched the hideous junk come flying out of there while Mike was getting. It was quite excellent. Mike was excellent and I feel pretty confident the drainage flow issue has been resolved. I won't say it wasn't a tad more than I was expecting, but i never mind that much when I they actually fix the problem, like this time.

I was not happy my heater stopped. I called ARS and got an appointment. Charles. their technican, came to our house and diagnosed the heater fan motor burned up. He was gracious and very knowledgeable with HVAC Systems. I was very impressed with his ability to explain the problem. So I said to order to motor. He and ARS was in constant contact with meregarding the status. In summary, I would definitely call ARS again (but would request Charles to be the technician). They were great in getting our heat on again during the winter.

Had two slow drains and hot water heater not putting out hot water. Would not quote any price over phone even for the drain. Showed up late. Tried to talk me out of it when they got there. Quoted 250 for hand held snake clean of one drain. Which is super expensive. The real thing is they just didn’t want to do the work. Charged me 100 for the service charge. Lesson learned. Don’t use ARS rescue rooter.

I like most just take my money where it’s valued and respected. I have waited for days for a plumber to simply clean out a bathroom drain. Granted they have to pull a toilet that my land lord gave them permission too, they fixed my original problem of the sewer line being broken I thought this company was above and beyond. The second/third/4th (no call no show)/5th all over the same problem. Then telling our landlord we refused to give them her number, and she’s setting up the call to have it done. Very disappointed in this company. I’ve spent hours waiting around just to be rescheduled, lied to, and then not even try. Wouldn’t waste my money here again.

So the technician that came out his name was James and of course with in 10 minutes once he figured out the problem he proceeded to tell me how my 2006 unit was getting pretty old how I might want to consider replacing the whole unit. I’m a car salesman and I never try to up sale anybody ever and I can’t stand it when this happens to me. And so he replaced 2 capacitors for 760 dollars way over priced 50% of that cost is for labor but they don’t tell you that totally totally totally over priced I’ll never use this company again. STOP trying to up sale customers, you will get more business if you are honest.

Our brand new, just installed less than 15 days ago, ac unit stopped working in the middle of a Texas summer day. Misery. The operator I called this morning was very kind and provided me with a 24/7 call number in case of middle of the night emergencies and promised to get a technician out as soon as possible. Come 930am and the promised technician is knocking on our door. He was very professional, did a full system check, installed a new thermostat and showed us how to use it. Simple, easy, and efficient. And now we have amazingly cool air flowing through the house. A+++

Kevin White came last night to provide an estimate for three complete ac units I am having replaced. Very professional and informative. He knows his product and presented very well. I have no issues regarding Kevin. My single issue is with the estimate process. This is a big job. After calling his GM an offer was put forward for a substantial discount if I agreed to committing within one week. I have a policy. When I am pressured into a substantial financial decision I immediately withdraw. There is no way I am going to be told I must make my decision in one week or the deal is off. Secondly it was suggested all three of these units would be installed in one day. That's not realistic. I don't want to see how fast these units can be installed. I want them installed properly not fast.

Steve Roland was an excellent man to work with. His knowledge of the problems our 15 year old house had were truthful and informative. We had a great experience with ARS and loved the work ethic. They had multiple options that were all relatively inexpensive and good promos. We even had the option of a free wifi thermostat and lifetime warranty.

This is my second time using ARS Rescue Rooter. Both times their services were excellent ! Both times there was a stopped up drain involved. Today they responded very quickly, less than an hour.. Technicians are always very professional, alwaysprovide estimate of cost before starting, and always clean up before they leave.Today I found out they also offer a Senior Discount for those over 62....absolutelyclaimed that discount :)) Will always call them first with plumbing needs.

They over charged me three fold. They replaced a double check valve because I had an uncontrolled leak at one of my Rental properties. They told me it would cost $1700 to repair everything. It took three days to fix the problem. The tenant told me Chase showed up and spent two hours on the phone, one hour talking to him and one hour working on the problem. He charged me $1700 and the tenant $329. I have been asking for ten days to see an itemized bill. They won't return my phone calls. I have called four times and left four messages. I chatted online and was assured someone would call me. Home Advisor told me a double Check Valve should cost $300-$700. Do NOT use this company!

I have called them back for various problems related to air conditioning unit they installed. This time I paid $1400 due to wire being chewed through by rats. They installed new wiring and protected it with PVC. I hope this takes care of the air conditioner not working. The tech was very nice.

I had a kitchen sink back up today, and Chuck was out here in 45 minutes from the time I made the call. He looked at the problem let me know different options to resolve the problem and then fixed the problem. It was a burden lifted off my shoulders. On Thursday, August 11, 2016 my shower started leaking. I googled emergency plumbers and after some transfers finally connected to the Dallas ARS group. They wanted to charge $120 for after hour repairs but they couldn't tell me how long it would be until the tech arrived.I was impressed by Jimmy - he called and walked me through turning the water off at the street to prevent a huge loss of water. That's where the good service ended. I scheduled an appointment for Friday, August 12 at 11:00 am. I didn't even hear from the company until 12:25 pm at which time they told me the tech would arrive in about 30 - 40 minutes. At 1:20 pm I called back only to find out that the tech was stuck in traffic. the tech finally arrived at 2:00 PM and proceeded to tell me it was going to cost $260 to replace the pins in the handles of the shower to stop the leak. I reluctantly agreed.20 minutes later the tech told me that a screw broke off and he was going to have to replace everything. This jacked up the price to $395.000. He then told me he didn't have the parts in his big company vehicle and had to go to Home Depot. Almost an hour later he gets back, finishes the work. I asked him how much the parts cost and he deflected the question saying that the company pays their techs on commission so the repair rates are a flat fee. I looked up the parts he installed and the kit cost less than $60.00 and yet the repair cost went up $130.00. He also wouldn't provide an itemized account of the fees. By the time everything was finished over 5 hours had elapsed.I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for plumbing work. I was in a bind and needed to get the work done but if I had known it was going to take 5 hours I could have done the work myself using YouTube and saving myself at least $250.00.

From all the companies I called at 7PM on a Monday night, Rescue Rooter had the least expensive emergency trip fee and had promised to be there within 45 minutes. Although it took them a little longer, when Neil got there he immediately started working until our toilets and showers worked perfectly again from the main line clog. Prices were a bit steep. I'd call them again during normal business hours for my plumbing needs.

My experience with Travis was outstanding. He took the time to get to know our family's needs, walk us through our options, and help us find a replacement HVAC solution that was workable for us. I appreciated him talking me through the particulars of the installation process and making sure that we'd be taken care of by the installation team when they arrived.I did have an unfortunate experience with the technician who came out for our initial inspection. He asked me if I was married and when my husband would be home...when I asked why that was relevant, he indicated that he would want my husband to be present when his teammate came by to review the technical options for system replacement with us. This was insulting for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that, while I am a woman, I am also a trained engineer with 20 years of experience, and capable of making technical decisions on my own. As if that were not bad enough, he also used a disgusting, derogatory, and able-ist slur casually and unprompted. All of this unfortunately took place in front of my young daughter.I have decided that I am not going to give less than 5 stars in this review based on the (in)competence of one technician. My experience with Travis redeemed the initial impression I had of this company. However, I would strongly urge that ARS rethink how they train first line technicians to engage with the public in the 21st century.

Just had a 2.5T new Carrier AC/Heat Pump system installed in my Dallas home by Home Depot/ASR. So far the entire experience has been very positive from working with our ASR Comfort Advisor Kevin White on the proposal which was thorough and very competitive, to the actual next day installation by the ASR team Junior and Edgar. Systems is up and running and so far so good ... don’t expect any issues. All three have been super knowledgeable, explaining and answering all my questions and very thorough with their work. Went out of their way to make sure we get the right system and installed professionally, understand the new thermostat operation, etc. Left job site very clean. Only follow up is on an existing UV Scrubber I wanted to have reinstalled which they could not reinstall but committed to bring and install a new one within 7-10days at no extra cost. Otherwise great experience and I recommend this company for your next HVAC project.

Well. It's 2:10 p.m. and our technician, who was scheduled to arrive between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. is still not here. I wouldn't be so infuriated if it wasn't for the fact that it took this company over 2 weeks to schedule is an appointment after we paid them $3400. Additionally, the original appointment was for YESTERDAY, and yet no one ever showed up, or bothered to call. My husband and I have called the dispatchers all morning trying to confirm if/when they were going to actually show up today and all we've gotten was your technician is on his way. On his way from where!? It's been over 4 hours! This experience has been an absolute nightmare, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I was referred by Home Depot to ARS and as of now i feel very disappointed. I needed a professional company to go check my AC unit and in regards to checking and giving me a quote they did a great job. But once I made a deal with the representative he informed me that there would be a team going in early Saturday which is understandable because its hotter during the day. Twelve o’clock in the afternoon came around and nobody showed up to my home. I called representative and phone was off. I called main office and spoke to a lady who was very polite and showed empathy. Few minutes later representative called me to apologize and give me an explanation which he took ownership. He informed me that he would get with me as soon as possible this week and i still have not received a phone call back from representative. I called main office to speak to manager and i only got a receptionist that would give message to manager. I still have not received a call back from any manager or answers from representative. My reason to speaking to a manager was not to get anyone in trouble but to share a concern that i had which maybe a manager can assist with. Maybe the manager is not aware of this customer service. Maybe he understands and can explain. Maybe he can reassure me that they are a great company and that it doesnt matter the house size, they can do big and small jobs. As of now i feel very sad because I really thought this company can help...... hopefully after this review i get someone’s attention to help me.

Every second of my experience with ARS was excellent. The person who answered the phone the first time I called all the way to Chris who came to our house. This was the best home repair experience I've had, EVER!Regarding their pricing: I verified their pricing is fair by looking back an invoice from having plumbing work done by a friends company a few months ago.I'll call ARS from this point forward.

We had a toilet clog, and Jimmy C came out to resolve. He ran a hand tool (only), and got part of the clog, but after a few flushes we had to call back because it was not resolved. Instead of honoring their claimed 90 day warranty, he came back, upset, rude, and now saying it it would be another 275.00 - 525.00 not including the first call. I understand clogs can be more problematic, and the added cost, but 375 - 625 dollars for a clogged toilet with no other plumbing issues is ridiculous, and to have such a horribly rude unprofessional attitude about it is unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. I've never experienced such a bad plumbing service.

They don’t send a plumber but a salesman with a big book showing all you might need, and how they are doing you a favor. It’s a big company only interested in making money. BEWARE call a local real plumber, thank God I found an honest hard working reasonable local plumber. Stay away from these big companies.

Called ARS and asked how much an estimate would be to solve a sewage odor issue at my office. They told me the estimate would be free, so we had a plumber come and take a look. He didn't want to actually look at the roof vent pipes, which were causing the problem. He quoted us an amount for repairs ($150/hour + materials). We asked him to come the next day. When he arrived, he proceeded to do another estimate, taking two hours, and charging us $150/hour for the estimate, even though we were told by the company that estimates were free. We found him cooling off in his car, without having started any work yet. At that point, we asked him to leave and paid him for his time, but feel definitely cheated. How can they stall for two hours, and pretend to draw up another estimate, and charge us for it as if they had done any work? Definitely do NOT recommend this company.

Our water heater began to leak, and ARS was the only company able to get to us in under 5 days. They sent out Jimmie the next day, and he was very courteous and professional, quickly diagnosed the problem, and kept us informed about next steps and timelines.Jimmie came out today to replace the hot water heater, and we couldn't be happier. They found the potential problem, which is great, but the real problem arose when they tried to charge me $150 for a small $5 fuse. They tried to explain the labor drives up the price, but there can only be so much involved in a fuse replacement. I understand the upcharge on the part but be careful they are not price gouging unaware customers.

Plumbing drain finally got cleared last night. I would never recommend ARS Rescue Rooter after our experience with them. I tried to clear the clog on my own with a rented snake but the 100' was not long enough to reach the clog (roots growing into the pipe) from the back of the house. I tried to remove the front commode and go through that opening, but the snake could not get through the p trap below the commode to go down the pipe.When I called ARS I told them specifically about our issue having clean outs only in the back of the home and that a rented 100' snake did not reach the clog. With that I was told as long as the clog was in the main line they could reach it. The technician arrived while I was at work. His snake also was 100' and he could not reach the drain. He suggested they go through the commode opening (the one I just reinstalled) but that the cost would go from $88 to $350. I told him I was not paying nearly 4x the amount for them to remove a commode and reinstall it on top of running the snake. After further discussion it was agreed I would come home from work and remove the commode (a second time) then he would run the snake through that opening for the original price.I went home for lunch yesterday to remove a commode dressed in slacks, dress shirt and tie. Then we waited for the technician to return. A second technician arrived unaware of the agreement we made with the first technician and said the price would be much higher than quoted. He then said, nobody is going to do this for you a that price, as he got in his vehicle and drove away. My wife was speechless. She called to tell me what happened and she was able to reach ACS who said this was some sort of misunderstanding and they would send someone back out.Peter's team had a game last night and when we left they still had not yet arrived. Julie was unable to go to the game and waited for the technician to arrive. While we were about to leave i was getting urgent texts from Julie that I needed to get home right away. There was another problem with ARS. When I arrived the technician was in our front yard on his cell phone so I was standing there waiting for him to speak to me. After a few minutes he hung up and explained to me that the shorter snake that could be fed through the p trap did not reach the clog. He felt as though he was getting to the clog but did not have enough reach to punch through and clear it out. This clog must have been just about at the edge of our property. I asked him if he could attach another section to his machine to get there and he said he could, but they were trying to find another technician to send over with the extra length.This then became another bargaining issue on the price. I was given a price near $300 initially and got him to agree to do it for $195. I was pretty much at a point that I did not have any negotiating room as we were about to head into day three of having a clogged drain and unable to run dishwashers, washing machine and had to master the art of the 1 minute shower.Finally around 10:00 last night they managed to clear the clogged drain and pack up their stuff to leave. This morning I reset the commode in the kid's bath and laundry baskets are lined up down the hallway as far as the eye can see.If you are thinking of using these people for your next plumbing emergency I would consider using someone else. We will certainly not use them again as I feel we were baited and switched into paying a higher price essentially at gun point. I do not fault the first technician who was the one who came back and eventually got the drain cleared, but whoever they spoke with on the management side certainly seemed to be trying to take advantage of us. I also felt they should have been prepared since I told them the 100' rented snake did not reach the clog to begin with.

There is not anything negative I have to say about the service call - the office staff called to advise an approximately time frame in which the tech would arrive. Do not call this company. Two people came out on August 9th and charged $413 to do nothing except tell me it would be another $3200 to remove the object from the drain. They never even found the clean-out after telling me that they had and were not able to extract the object without digging through the floor or under the foundation. They also attempted to scare me into making a hasty decision by telling me that they had pushed the object into the main line therefore causing the other toilets in the house to be inoperable AND my shower, bathtub, sinks and washer. When I said I wanted to get a second opinion, I was told if I didn't use them, there would be another $400 charge for a finders fee, which I knew wasn't even legal as I had signed nothing to that affect. Long story short, we called a different plumber that night and he was able to extract the object (a piece of PVC) and unclog another drain for $285. He also told us that none of the other toilets were affected or any other area of the house based on where the clog was. Basically they were running a big scam. I'm still waiting for a call back to be refunded my $413 as their ad says they have a 100% satisfied money back guarantee.Update! After NEVER calling me back, they charged my credit card for half of the work they never did! $1625 hit my credit card on August 16th. I'm now working to get that money refunded. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Called them to repair a leaking sink. They call me back and notify me a tech is on the way and will be there in 45 minutes to an hour. Finally arrived an hour and 45 minutes later. I show him the leaking sink, he pokes around, turning the water faucet on and off. Finally after 5 minutes, he announces that he can't fix the problem, and the whole faucet has to be replaced! Didn't even offer to turn off water to sink. I had to ask him to turn off the water to the sink.The tech goes out to write up an estimate for the replacement, comes back with a $615.00 estimate! Total charge for this trip...$207.50, including a $20.00 charge for materials (no materials used) and a $187.50 leak detection fee (all tech did was turn the faucet on and off a couple of times) Total ripoff. Paid bill, reluctantly. Tech had to call in to process credit card which took 10 minutes.So, in the end paid over $200.00 for nothing and have a sink with the water shut off.

This was a horrible experience for me. It started with something simple and turned into over 20000 in repairs. The guys don't communicate with you at all. Then have you to take a loan, ours ended up being more than was expected. I think they get and and then you have no choice. Don't go to this company for anything. I'm paying off a loan for almost 9000. They milk your insurance company with the over pricing of the services.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. What a nightmare. My AC went out. The first technician stated there was a problem on the outside unit. He replaced the contactor charged $391 and left. An hour after the technician left I was getting the same error codes on my thermostat and the AC stopped working. I called the office and I was told they would send another tech out and gave me a window of 1pm-3pm. I called at 3:30 bc I had heard nothing from them. I was told a tech was assigned and dispatch would call with an ETA. I called again at 4:30 bc I still had not heard from dispatch. Called a third time at 5:40, now almost 3 hours outside the window. The 2nd tech arrives at my house at 8:04, FIVE hrs outside the given window. Tells me it's a drain problem and charges me an additional $200 to clear the line. He leaves. Within 10 min of him being gone the thermostat is showing the same error code and the AC is not working yet again. I immediately call dispatch and they tell me they can't send another tech until tomorrow morning with a 9am-1pm window. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They refused to give me a manager or supervisors name and refused to send the tech that JUST left my house to come back and fix the problem he clearly didn't fix on his visit.They then told me the earliest they could come out was another 9am-1pm window the following day. It’s now 10am on the following day and I haven’t heard a word from the company. They should be embarrassed with how they’re running this business. Incompetent HVAC techs is only the beginning of their problems.

Kevin White came out to go over options with us on Monday. We figured out what options worked best for us. And install happened bright and early on Tuesday. The Installation guys did a fabulous job. They made sure my husband understood the system and answered any questions we had. We got upgraded parts for about the same price we were quoted from other companies. Awful. I needed a clogged toilet fixed and called at 4:00 PM. Operator said a tech would call between 4:30-6:30. 6:45 - never got a call and called again. They said a tech is on the way. 7:25 - called again and they said a tech is 15 minutes away. 8:00 - still not here. If you can’t get someone out at the time you first told me, then why lie and make me wait other than to garner a bad review? That’s just terrible customer service.Look somewhere else like AAA Auger who showed up at the time they told me they would be here and fixed the problem.

They installed an expesive unit. But They haven't kept up the customer service since then. I found out after I got the unit installed that I should've had my ducts done. They didn't tell me until after the install and it wasn't cooling my whole house. Ok, the supervisor came out, said they would do my ducts. I'm still waiting. I will change this if they every make it right.Edit: they did come out and make it right. They were willing to do whatever it took for me to be happy. That's rare. Mistakes happen often but will a company take responsibility for it? This one did.

Our A/C had been out for 9 days while waiting on our warranty company to fix it. After dealing with the heat for long enough we called Home Depot who contracts ARS. Scott came out the next morning and gave us a quote. Decided to go with them after calling a few other places, he came back out that evening and set up an install for the next morning. Everything was explained very well, and gave us ideas to look into for the near future to help our hvac system work more efficiently. Very knowledgable, and very polite. The install process was smooth, and we really enjoy Lennox outdoor unit that was installed. Very quiet, and works very well. The old unit leaned very badly and they were able to quickly level the ground out for the new pad. We are very happy with the decision to use ARS, and Scott and the installation guys made it a painless process.

Right on time and friendly plumbers, but company policy seems shady. I wanted the advertised $88 drain clear but was charged $120 for some bs reason like having to use a special tool? (Snake) What? Then wanted to charge me $460 for locating sewer line. The city of came out and marked sewer line for free.Long story short, i got a city plumber to come by and did way more work for free and told me a very different story. Ars wanted almost $4k for a problem that wasnt as serious as they made it out to be.

I had two HVAC units, two hot water heaters, insulation, heat barrier, and a liner placed in the house. I have had a very decent time dealing with this company and it's employees. They called to remind me about the service needed for the units I had installed. Each of the technicians I have dealt with were very knowledgeable and professional in behavior. I usually have gone to the specific store and have been referred to ARS as a result of buying from this store.

Service guys were great, but the fact I’m paying $500 in labor to fix a a/c installed 3 years ago is rediculous. Spent $9000 on the install and they reused electrical components from the previous unit. Not to mention the drain from the previous unit was reused however plumbed incorrectly.

Recently had a company called ARS( referred by Home Depot) come to our house to help is evaluate our attic and insulation. An Energy consultant by the name of Bill Trask came to our house to do the assessment. Bill in my opinion was very competent, extremely knowledgable and completely honest. ARS installed my parents hvac system recently, the comfort specialist was very kind to them and listened, the installers were very nice and clean! My mom didn't know how to work the new Nest thermostat they gave her so they came back out at no charge and showed her how and made her comfortable with it. GREAT WORK!!

The service professional, James, sent out discovered immediately that our hot water heater was not leaking but that we had a leak somewhere else along the line that was causing water to flow into the house from the garage area that houses the hot water heater. James then found the leak in the wall, cut into the drywall, repaired the damaged pipe, and got everything working again. Did I mention that this was on the Sunday morning during Labor Day weekend?! What a godsend this ambassador of service was for my spouse & I!

George Daniels was a top professional all the way. He spent a lot of time with us before we had our entire sewer plumbing system replaced. He allowed me to watch his camera scope and showed me all of the areas where our old cast iron pipes were broken. We knew exactly where the problems were before agreeing to any work. They did all of the work with minimum down time and cleaned up the tunneled yard well to where you hardly knew they were there. I would highly recommend George and this company to anyone. Rick

Jimmie was not only a friendly service person but a very professional individual always cordial and polite. He immediately was able to determine the issue with my water heater and with confidence. Terrible experience! Beware, this company is out to get as much of your money as possible. Their plumbers must be instructed to up sell. I called ARS because they were offering a $99 drain cleaning special. When the plumber arrived (before starting any work) he mentioned that he may have to go on the roof and access the vent to clear the drain. Of course going on the roof(single story) was not included in the special and it would increase the cost to $400. I asked that he try to clear the drain line from the clean outs on the ground because I wanted it done for $99. Also, the drain had been successfully cleaned before from the ground and I knew that $100 - $120 was a normal price. The plumber made one unsuccessful attempt to clean the drain and started selling me on the roof again. I declined and asked if he would try again. He agreed and made a better attempt but still could not clear the drain. At that point I was told that I would have to pay $99 and leave the drain clogged or agree to the upcharge and have it cleaned from the roof. Since it was a rent house I really didn't have much of choice so I agreed. After I gave the go ahead it took just under 5 minutes for him to clear the drain!! In this case, it was actually much easier to access the drain from roof. He knew from previous experience that it was an easy fix from the roof but the company policy is focused on getting more money when possible. Why not just fix it for the advertised price and move onto the next customer? He probably could have made two more calls in the 1.5 hours he spent wasting my time. Treat your customers right and they'll call back. The only thing good that came from this is at least I know who not to recommend for plumbing.

Don't get anywhere near them. I had their team come out and give me an estimate on some plumbing work. The first didn't do the estimate but assured me before his co-worker arrived that they give the best quotes because they are such a large company and cannot afford bad reviews. He left and when his co-worker arrived he gave me the same chat and then quoted me $6,000 for the repairs and said he could start immediately. I knew something was up and asked him to leave. I have had 4 plumbers out since that time and all of them have quoted me more than 50% less what ARS did to do the exact same job. Not sure what type of business they are running, but I would stay very far away from them and wouldn't trust them to touch a single thing on my house.

Competent, Thorough and Detailed Oriented are the words I would us to describe the Service that ARS and in particular, Adam provided for us. They were able to install and integrate a tank less water heater with a smaller tank and a circulating pump to provide all the water heating needs for our large home. The work was done efficiently, on schedule and on budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Adam and ARS for your water heating installation or repairs.

Charged $1,500 to change one plastic sprinkler pipe. Found it immediately, dug for less than 5 minutes, left for over 2 1/2 hours to get parts, slept in his truck for over another hour, fixed the pipe. Yes, it's fixed. And, yes, maybe he had to dig for 5 minutes and re-cover, but $1,500 for a sprinkler pipe? Really!?

The only reason you get a star because I can’t review with zero stars. Jermaine came out to my house and couldn’t get my unit to turn on, he said the capacitor and the igniter were not working. He said since it was over 20 years old it would HAVE to be replaced. It could not be repaired. I called another repairman for a second opinion and he immediately discovered that my propane tank was empty. Once it was filled up the unit began working perfectly. As a recently widowed women I am very glad I chose to get a second opinion, and didn’t take jermaine’s advice. It was definitely not in my budget.

Do not use these people to install air conditioners. They are not good - mine has needed servicing twice as they did not install the drain properly.Also my service technician missed the morning window of 9 am to 1 pm which is a pretty big window.

2 serviceman show up to blow out drain. They originally were going to cut PVC pipe and reroute. All they did was blow out the drain so water wouldn't leak into the safety pan. They failed to move the pan back where it belonged and didn't replace the auto cut off switch that sits in the drain. Also, they didn't wear covers on their boots so we had dirt tracks everywhere. $400 for this!I have had drains blown out for $120. I will not call ARS for services again.

Today I had Antonio G. come by and give me a free estimate on my attic situation. It turned out my insulation is about 14 inches thick, the ventilation in my attic is great, and my attic space is too small for radiant barrier to be worth the investment. I liked that Antonio was up front and Honest with me and did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. We even talked about alternative solutions on my making my home a little more efficent.

Horrible and EXTREMELY expensiveI mistakenly used them for my maintenance this year...Coincidentally, two weeks later, my system stopped working. Thinking they’d be decent since they were just out messing with my system before it stopped functioning, they proceeded to charge me 300 to change the capacitor I’d just recently purchased.... they charged me 300 for 5 minutes worth of work... and that almost twice as much as what other companies chargeI seriously believe my system would’ve never failed had o not initially called them to do the maintenanceSTAY AWAY... they damage your systems and overcharge you to fix it!

I called every “24/7” “emergency HVAC” company listed on Google. ARS was the ONLY company that lives up to the claim of emergency HVAC. I called and spoke with Ethel and told her that I had called 20 other companies and no one had offer any assistance even though their listings says “open 24/7”. I felt that Ethel really cared and sympathized with me. My house is 3 levels and each level was 89 degrees and higher as you climbed the stairs. It was literally the middle of the night and I had been on the phone with these other disappointing companies for at least 3 hours. Ethel got in touch with Scott, the manager and he came from over an hour away to get me and my dog some air conditioning going. The part was under warranty and he informed me of the emergency service call fee which was by far much cheaper than I had expected. I was 100 percent satisfied and will recommend this company for HVAC needs... regular and emergency. They are AWESOME!!!!!!

I gave them one star as it does not allow for lower. Awful Customer service - Stay away from this company. The office in Dallas, Texas schedules customers for service and then does not show up; when you call and folow up with them they keep telling you that they will be there within the scheduled time and then never show up to the appointment. The first time happened three months ago for drain cleaning where I took time from work and they did show, apparently they wre over booked. They called and asked for a second chance, I thought the first time was just a mishap. Well, I was wrong, they scheduled a tume up service for a/c for 9-1 three days ago; they never showed up. I called several times and the representative kept telling me that they were coming, that I was the next customer in the cue. They did not show and the called me just now to reschedule. Really! Three days later....

We had a stubborn drain clog where days of plunging had absolutely no effect. We had heard the ARS special on WBAP, and figured the $88 dollars for one drain clog was cheaper than dynamite or moving. I called ARS on a Friday, and they had a technician at the house by early afternoon. ARS service technician Justin Russell arrived as promised and on time. He went immediately to work and destroyed the clog. But, beyond his efficiency, he was a nice guy, had a great sense of humor, knew what he was doing, and explained each step he took. I asked Justin for several business cards; one for us and others to give friends. ARS has our plumbing business from now on, and I highly recommend them.

Crooks. Unqualified. Technician said he could not find outside plumbing intake and had to get on roof (added cost) to find it and if my wife declined he would leave. He took advantage of female in distress. He took pic to show something in the pipe but fixed nothing.$400 for no fix. A ARS mngr sent another tech who wrote huge quote to fix all plumbing.Another plumber, different company, came out, ran machine to clear the block and all good. Cost with them less.

WARNING! Stay away from them. They told me that they're going to do a tuned up to my air-conditioner unites. The technician came 9 hours late and did some checking. The only job he did was washing units. He wanted to charge me 10 pounds of Puron for $650 plus $400 for replacing a nut!They deserve less than one star, but I don't get the option.

David Jones came out after hours to look at my unit. Our unit is over 20 yrs old. He inspected it, looked at the air handler and the duct work. All of it was done by a DIY person before us that tried to save a buck but didn't do good practices. He gave us a good assessment of our situation. We have used ARS for our plumbing needs for many years, and glad we called on them to help with our AC.

Contacted to have them come out to replace a leaking sink drain and a leak coming from a jacuzzi tub. I let them cut a hole in my kitchen ceiling to look for the tub leak since we are redoing the ceiling anyway. No leak was found but I was charged a $200 plus diagnostic fee. Avoid at all costs.

We had our entire HVAC system replaced (27 years) and couldn’t have asked for better service. Manuel and Skylar came early in the morning and worked diligently to get our new system up and running in the Dallas heat! Jimmy was OUTSTANDING!! We had a leak in our house and had 5 different plumbers come out that couldn't find anything. The plumber before him said it was a slab leak that would have cost us thousands. Jimmy knew immediately upon arrival that the pipes ran overhead, so that wouldn't make sense. He found the leak immediately behind the refrigerator. Would highly recommend.

Do NOT hire these plumbers. We hired them to unclog our washer line. Alan came out and we told him he needed to get on the roof to unclog it. He said he could do but the fee would be around 350. We agreed. He got up on the roof with the camera then came down and said there's no clog. He left after we paid him. Again, the washer backed up. We called them back and they said we would have to pay them another 140. To unclog the drain. What? That doesn't even make sense. You didn't do what we asked you to do then you don't guarantee your work for 30 days??? 350 dollars later we told them Hell No... Do not come back to our home. We also didn't appreciate the way they spoke to us on the phone. Horrible customer service.

I needed to replace my HVAC and outside air conditioner so I called several companies for qoutes. Floyd was the representative who came to my home to give us a qoute.He was wonderful. He was professional and courteous and even interacted with my children. It almost seemed like I was sitting down with a friend.I told him i was getting several qouted and I had already received a great qoute from a comprable company who had a special for free insulation as well. He called his boss and let me know that they would need to get it approved to match that qoute. I told him i would contact him once I was done getting qoutes.The following week I left Floyd a message and he called me back right away. For the new units and the insulation there was a significant increase in price and Floyd let me know his regional sales manager was going to contact me directly. I never heard from him so I ended up going with the other company, but I certainly appreciated Floyd and his efforts.

Service was as you would expect. ARS replaced a compressor so their charge was labor only. They charged $1,400 for two men for 2.5 hours of work. That works out to $280 per man hour. That's more than my Doctor charges.

Tech was very pushy about selling a piece of equipment to add on to our compressor. I hired ARS at the request of my home warranty provider to make a video of a slow draining pipe. After reviewing the video, the representative said that I had a 'belly' (a low spot) formed in my pipes. He said that ARS would tunnel under the house to replace approximately 25 feet of pipe at an estimated cost of $12,000. For a second opinion, I had the pipes hydro-jet cleaned and a new video made for $360, The results is there there was no 'belly'; instead, a clogged pipe. The plumbing has been working great since. I am so happy NOT to trust ARS.

I paid ARS $16,965 to install an AC unit and two (2) solar vents. My contract states I have a 2 year no interest on the balance. However, when my wife went to pay our second payment she noticed at the bottom of the screen, the no interest is only for 12 months. I contacted ARS who stated they would resolve the issue. I never received my return call from accounting, and the issue still remains. I again contacted ARS, and requested a full refund and the equipment to be removed, since the interest rate we agreed on, in contract, was not provided, and I can not get this issues resolved. I was told the only person in this entire company that can resolve my is Dan Bennett. Mr. Bennett has never spoken to me and has never attempted to contact me. I have spoken to Elizabeth Ryan who advised me Mr. Bennett would return my call. I attempted to contact Ms. Ryan again after not receiving a call from Mr. Bennett, I was advised she was on a call with another customer and would return my call. I never received another call from Ms. Ryan. I called the company again and was told, there is no one in the building I could speak with to resolve this issue. I asked for a corporate number, and was transfered to the corporate office. No one answered the phone, and I left a message. Surprise...no return call. This company does good work, very happy with the installation, but if you have an issue you will never get it resolved. This is why I am trying to get a refund. If there is problem with your equipment good luck. I would think twice before dealing with this company. If they can't fix a simple accounting issue, what happens if there is a big issue with the equipment?

I always get the best and most courteous people who keep me informed and no matter what the issue is, they are always lending a hand to assist in financing if costs are above what I have financially. They won't walk away and leave me stranded. They will try every method they can to help this family and I don't know of another business with the greatest and most caring staff. I'll never forget the techs who came out at 7am in freezing, drizzling rain Christmas eve and Christmas day in 2017 to dig up my backyard to replace a new gas line so that this family had heat after being displaced for 7 months from a major home restructure caused by our lovely city's irresponsible actions to replace the water mains without reviewing first if any of the mains had root damages but of course......the city does no wrong......understood.......the house was also sold to me with not just Asbestos in the walls but lead also.........over $191K by the time insurance paid for the damages and everything else that came with the package. Bought a home that needed a new HVAC system. Called Home Depot and was contacted by ARS. I received a prompt call followed by the first appointment time slot that I requested. Although I was within the service area, ARS drove 2 hours to my house for the appointment. Edwin was professional and courteous. The pricing seem fair and was told that they could install next day which was a huge surprise given all the supply chain issues. A team which included 3 trucks showed up at 7am the next morning and the crew worked nonstop all day. Overall it was a great experience working with ARS, probably the easiest transaction I’ve done to date! Would highly recommend.

This was perhaps my 9th or 10th time that I have had a need for their services. They deal with my HVAC, which is why they came by to complete my Spring Checkup. They have also helped me several times with plumbing problems.The staff is great to work with from the lady making my appointment to the young man who came by to do the work. We recently had ARS install a complete air conditioning system in our housethe guys were prompt clean and and knew what they were doing systems been working fine this morning upon walking out in my backyard we had an alarm going off I assumed it was for the air conditioning system I pulled the fuse on the out above the outside unit and the tone changed maybe it was all in the timing but the alarm had nothing to do with the air conditioning system still upon our request service tech showed up pointed out that the alarm had nothing to do with the system I bowed my head with embarrassment but it just goes to show they are prompt courteous and professional even when it's a simple mistake no charge glad I went with them

I had a water heater leak and ARS Plumbing in Dallas said they will come between 12 and 5 pm. Unfortunately they showed up at about past 6 pm. They said I had to replace the water heater. Mr. Jimmie and Chuck replaced the water heater in an hour , so that was very good and fast , right? , they said I will have hot water in an hour, but unfortunately 2 hours after, there's still no hot water. Called the company ( ARS ), at 10:45 pm , they said they will call me back. I called them back Saturday morning at 7 am and they assure me that someone will come within 2 - 4 hours, NO ONE SHOWED UP. then they called and said that no one can come until 7 PM. FORTUNATELY SOMEONE SHOWED UP AT 9;45 PM. !!!!!!!I think they have to make sure that the water heater is working and should show the customer that it's really working. UNTIL NOW I DONT HAVE ANY HOT WATER!!!!!!! FOR 3 DAYS NOW.NOW THEY SAID IT'S ELECTRICAL ISSUE, AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE ELECTRICIAN FOR ANOTHER 2 DAYS. BUT IT WAS WORKING FINE BEFORE THEY PUT THE NEW UNIT.THE COMPANY ITSELF HAS POOR SERVICE. WILL NOT RECOMMEND.THEY WIL NOT LET YOU FIND ANOTHER COMPANY, BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY WILL BE THERE BUT THEY WON'T BE THERE.I THINK THEY MAKE YOU THE LAST CUSTOMER , IF YOU HAVE A CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN HOMESHIELD INSURANCE.I HATE IT WHEN THEY PROMISE YOU THE TIME THEY WILL COME BUT THEY DON'T COME ON TIME.Nothing against Jimmie and Chuck , but, I think they should have let me know really if the WATER HEATER is really working PROPERLY. THEY WE COULD HAVE FIX THE ISSUE RIGHT AWAY.VERY FRUSTRATED CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!

I am not sure what kind of service they provide, because they haven't shown up yet!! They gave me a four hour window, a choice between between 9am - 1pm, or 10am - 2pm. I had the first slot, got a call at 11:25 that they would be here within the hour. I called them at 1:30pm, it would be another 1-1.6 hrs. It is after 3pm, I called them AGAIN...NOTHING MAKES ME MADDER !!!

I started talking with ARS after being approached in home Depot about a HVAC installation promotion. A salesperson came by the next day and wrote up a few options with competitive prices. I got two more bids that were a tiny bit higher but chose to go with ARS because the salesperson, Chris, seemed very trustworthy. I called him to follow up and schedule the installation of a Carrier system and he was at my house filling out the paperwork in about 45 minutes. The installation happened the same day thanks to two very kind and courteous technicians. They did a great job fitting into tight spaces and making it look great. There was a little confusion about an add on I wanted but it was resolved and scheduled to be installed at a later date. I was warned about how hard HVAC installs were and how scammy some companies are. ARS seems to have some great and happy employees who are genuinely trying to give you a good and honest experience. I will be recommending them to friends.

I requested ARS Rescue Rooter come to my property, for their drain cleaning special which was $88. When they showed up, and I was told it'll be like $250 /hr or something like that instead. Hmm. I told them to leave. I am not a happy (potential) customer, and I will not call them again.

8000 replace 3 ton ac does not come with line set 1000 extra charge the idea of replace is everything in my opinion and flushing isn't a route I would take I'm sure it works but it's not new which is what I thought I was getting disappointed truly sales rep didn't mention reuse anything found out when I asked the installers.

Our HVAC system decided to quit two days before the big northern winter storm in Feb 2021. We had used ARS prior for attic insulation service. When we called, they immediately sent out their service technician to diagnose the problem. The technician quickly found the furnace board was the problem but the part was no longer available (the furnace was 25 years old).We requested a to speak to a sales engineer on possible options for replacement. Within that afternoon, John Bailey from ARS came to our house. After selecting the option for our needs, John arranged for the installation team to start work the very next day (this was on a Friday when our furnace died).The team was at our house on a Saturday to remove the old furnace, install the new one, test and verify operation. We had heat that evening and on Sunday the northern winter storm hit north Texas. Throughout this whole process, John was in constant communication with us and the team to make sure everything was right. The installation team was professional, efficient and really worked very hard to get us the heat before the storm.We want to thank John Bailey, the service and installation teams for delivering an excellent experience. We will use ARS again.

The team did a dedicated, most awesome job of replacing two furnaces, associated trays, pipes and connectivity in 6-8 hours to our entire satisfaction. They cleared all the water-oil- sludge which was plaguing us for months, removed the rusted tray, defective pipes, and left the attic “spic and span”, the home heating/ ac system working normally and most efficiently. I’m happy that I chose and they installed Carrier, as per guidance by their trusted advisor.

We were without air the tech came out to see what’s the problem was but it could not be repaired the whole unit has gotten to be replaced the tech were very helpful with explaining what we’re going on as well as very honest and polite until we can work on getting the problem resolved thanks so very much

don't recommend. called them to fix an emergency plumbing issue and they never showed up. called them 5 times and every time was told they would be there in 15 minutes. waited 3 hours even though they said within 2 hours. never again.

This is my 2nd year of seasonal maintence service with ARS. They are very knowledgeable and offer details and specs on all services performed.No hard sales pitch, but offer pointers and suggestions to conserve energy and maintain your HVAC. All the Techs are well trained. I had Scottie today and Ralph before him. I'm so pleased with the service I regret not having it longer..

ARS misdiagnosed the problem and gave me a long list of items that need to be replaced. It added up to $1200.I got a second opinion from another company and they replaced the capacitor for $300.I paid ARS $79 to come out and evaluate my AC.
