Afternoon of Mar. 24, Ben came to our house to clean up the clogged main drain. He was very kind to and cooperative with us and helpful. He took out a bunch of big tree roots from the main drain, that stuff really surprised us! The drain has become through again. But three days later, an afternoon, we found accidents happened to the cap and the commode in the basement. We at once called customer services and got a positive response. Although a new technician couldn't fix the problems, at that night and in Saturday morning, Nathan came to my house, he worked very hard and very carefully protected the walls and floors from stains by covering himself with a cover while he worked with the tools and endured the stink smell. His professional dedication and ethics really made us feel touched.In this process, we also got support from Supervisor Rob, Field Supervisor Bobby and the leadership of the company. All of these can show that Roto-rooter is a united collective, a reliable and trustworthy company.

Mick showed up on a Sunday to replace our leaking water heater. Very professional and took time to answer my questions. Got the replacement done in less time than he estimated. Will use again and would recommend their services.

I called Fritz Baumann and Sons after another plumbing company came to our home and created a problem we did not have prior to them coming. Blair Baumann talked me through how they could fix our new problem, and he made me feel 10K times better about our horrible interactions with the previous plumbers. Blair and Jake came and fixed the problem in less time than expected and at a less expensive price. I will continue to use Fritz Baumann and Sons for any plumbing work I might need in the future. They are excellent, customer oriented, personable, knowledgeable, clean, and courteous! We had a truly WONDERFUL experience having Fritz Baumann and Sons work at our home.

I would NOT use Apex, save yourself the headache. The work they did was ok. The follow-up to fix anything has been terrible as mentioned in previous reviews. This is especially frustrating considering they are not cheap. What I have found is that when we wanted our water heater serviced, we had a response and a technician out in hours telling us we needed a new one. After the job cost us over $3400, a general contractor working on other things pointed out that: 1.) our new water heater was larger and 2.) It was placed even more center of our basement than the previous heater making giving us even less space free basement space if we close it in. We did not realize the few inches of misplacement was such a huge problem, but even more important, that the company could have moved the heater about 1-2 feet over and got it out the middle of the floor since they were doing a brand new install. We called to inquire about moving it over (12-24 inches) towards a corner, had a tech out in 3 hours give us a quote of $850. We inquired about moving it a few inches back to at least where it was, also $850. While he did confirm they try to place it where it was, it is not. Also, I discussed with the tech, do us a service for the money we paid and tell us before you cut pipes short that we can actually move the heater a little for more space. We may not know things as a consumer so we depend on the company we pay... Fast forward, a manger calls and says the best he can do is $400. We advised we need to think about the price. We get a text asking if we want to proceed and advised the manager we did not get the new quote. He resent the $850 quote within 3 minutes. We advised that was not promised. The manager never responded to the text and when called, did not answer. OVERALL, I prefer a private smaller company that can personalize service and return messages as they depend heavily on their customer base. I WOULD NOT USE APEX as their price does not match their customer service and follow-up.

We called them after a pipe burst in our garage. They were the soonest appointment we could get since the winter storm caused issues all over Columbus. When they showed up the technician claimed he was just here for an estimate. I did not call for or want an estimate. That was very clear, and no one ever told me that is what I was getting. I was unable to live in my house and just wanted the leak fixed. He said someone could come out 2 days later. Knowing that we could not get anyone sooner, we took the appointment. When that technician came out, he was wonderful and fixed both leaks. This company totally duped us by telling us they could give us the soonest appointment, but in all actuality we probably could have gotten something sooner. We were satisfied with service once that person came out. If you decide to use them, be very clear about what you want and ask questions if it’s a time where plumbers are needed everywhere.

These two very knowledgeable techs came out to the house. They recognized that a special-order plumbing fixture needed to be ordered.
Mr. Alvin, and Taylor were very polite...wore masks and shoe covers....
For, the time being, they simply charged a modest Service Call.
