Tommy was great. He immediately recognized the problem and identified a solution. He went to work and had everything fixed quickly. We even had him do a second job on a leaky valve, just because of his expertise. RR is exorbitantly expensive, but water is unforgiving. You get what you pay for with plumbing.

This is my go to place for any plumbing or hvac related issues. They’re not cheap, but knowing that they will always come when you need them and do good work is well worth the price.

Steve Baumann came to my house to give me an estimate for rewiring my gas fireplace. I wanted my fireplace to turn on and off using a remote control because I was uncomfortable using the key and starting the pilot. Steve took the time to teach me how to start my fireplace. In fact, he gave me step by step instructions and stayed until I felt comfortable that I could do it on my own. I'm so thankful to Steve and I'm so thankful to God for putting Steve in my path. Christianity is alive & well.

I needed an old plastic main valve replaced and a replacement water heater installed. Chris did an excellent job pre, during, and post work. He was kind, considerate, and explained his work. He was also very clean and removed all debris at the end of the job. My first encounter with Apex but I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had a plumbing issue and Roto Rooter was extremely responsive and came out the same day. Bobby was the plumber who came out and he was excellent! Very professional, knowledgeable, excellent communication skills, and performed high quality work while keeping me informed during the entire process.

The only negative is the service was extremely expensive and a lot more than I had anticipated. The final total was almost $300 more than what I was told when he surveyed the situation.

The work was excellent as was the quality and communication. I will likely look for another plumbing company in the future only because of the cost.

Installed sink, faucet and garbage disposal. On time, had necessary tools and supplies, went right to work. Job well done, did cleanup nicely. Seemed a little pricey, but it should be worth it to have the job done right (with 90 day guarantee)

More like ‘inaccurate’ plumbing.
Outdoor spigot fix. First guy that came out, Jim, was the rudest,most unprofessional repairman I’ve ever been around.
Refused to take his shoes off to come in the house bc he wears ‘arch supports.’
Fine just throw ur boot covers on.
‘I don’t have any.’
So apparently he thinks it’s ok to track mud and dirt and the outdoors all through one’s house.
Owner did call and apologize. Which was nice.
Different plumber came out and installed new spigot.
Great. Except the next day come to find out it’s been dripping.
All night.
And it sounds like someone is breaking rocks into gravel each time I turn it on.
A truly awful experience.

I have nothing against the plumbers who came today they were both professional and nice but I do have a problem with this company who literally stood in my house for no more than 10 minutes and used my fuse that needed replaced they never used their own equipment but they have a minimum of a $105 to come to your house so for 10 minutes of doing pretty much nothing and using my supplies I got ripped off. I'm sorry but I will not recommend nor will I ever use them again.

Gary was punctual and professional. He ended up spending several hours at my home, and did not rush through any of the work. Gary kept me updated about the work being done and the work needing to be done. And — the total cost was affordable. -much cheaper than what the company sent out by my home warranty company wanted to charge. I am very pleased with the service and will absolutely recommend him to others.

They are very professional when you can get them to show up. They did an excellent job the first time, but I've called 3x to schedule an appointment to fix another issue and they say they'll call me back to schedule an appointment, but I still haven't gotten a call back.

I was charged 70 bucks for a service call and told I needed a new control board,spec special order 5 or 6 hundred bucks plus the same amount for installation of new stuff. second opinion 50$ for a new ingnitor. Saved 950$. What a scam I don't recommend Hilliard's plumbing ripoff to anyone. totally bad experience

After careful research I wanted a home electric heat pump water heater as the most efficient and least greenhouse gas producing option.
I called many plumbing and appliance companies and could not find any with expertise installing this kind of device.
The installation was a retrofit into a 110 year old house with a fortress limestone basement. The salesrep on the phone was well informed. He asked many questions. I sent photographs and dimensions to ensure that the old heater could be removed and the new one installed. We discussed the exit for the exhaust duct and the need for a condensate drain. I asked for a pre-install visit to check the suitability of the site. I (and the company) should have insisted on one.
An electrician installed the 240 volt circuit for the furnace room.
The crew arrived on time. The exhaust duct plan was a no-go. The condensate drain was not planned. The owner, a really nice and knowledgeable guy, promptly came over and we worked out good alternatives. However that required a condensate pump with a 110 outlet in the furnace room. I handled that issue easily enough but the condensate pump was a small add on.
The system works great. Two tons less of greenhouse gasses per year. Large tax credits, rebates offset a substantial part of the higher equipment cost. Utility savings will be ~$450 per year.
Bottom line. This is a very good company. However, this is a different kind of appliance than a tradition water heater. Insist on an on-site pre-installation visit before committing to an installation.
