Old Hilliard Plumbing

I called Old Hilliard Plumbing searching for a company that could fix a gas lantern that was wasn't burning properly. The technician who came to my house was very nice, but said they used to have someone on staff who fixed gas lanterns, but they no longer do. He left and I never got any follow-up. He didn't fix anything. Then I got a bill. If you know you don't have the people on staff with the knowledge to fix a specific problem - you should tell the customer that up-front. I told them over the phone the problem I was having before the technician came out.

I called the office asking why I'm being billed when there was no service performed, and I have never received a call back. And then I get billed again with a note that I need to pay the bill ASAP. Still no call back. Bill paid. Will never use this company again, and would not recommend.

Communicated twice for an estimate. Never heard back from them again! Lucky and found a very reliable professional and got the job done.

This is the fourth time I have used Old Hilliard Plumbing. Each time they are always very reliable and knowledgeable. Their hourly rate is very reasonable for 2022. I recently had my garbage disposal replaced by Anthony. He was very friendly and quick. He tested it and made sure there was no leaks or issues. Had him check my sump pump for a concern I had and he was honest and suggested to leave it as I had it. I am guessing most companies would have fixed it and charge me an extra hour. Definitely will continue using their service in future needs. Thank you.

From scheduling to services…I can’t speak highly enough about them. They were able to fit me in within a two day window. Anthony found the source of my leaks immediately and fixed all four of my issues within a two hour time frame. He was clean and respectful of my home and my space. And now I have a dry basement. Their rates are extremely reasonable too, which is great because plumbing rates vary so drastically. I will forever recommend their services and will use them again should I have any other plumbing issues arise.

We had all 3 of our toilets replaced and two of them needed some extra care. The gentleman that came out were awesome. They replaced all our toilets, hauled all of them aways, and were super clean. They were done in about 2 hours and were reasonably priced in my opinion. Highly recommend if you need a plumber and are Hilliard/Columbus.

I have used Old Hilliard Plumbing recently for a water heater issue, installation of new heater and for a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal install. Appointments were easy to schedule and I received calls on the day of letting me know the plumbers were on the way. They were experienced, professional and did not try to upsell me on things I did not need. Everyone was very personable as well and explained the steps they were taking to complete the service calls. Old Hilliard Plumbing is the company I will be calling for all my plumbing needs.

This company is not worth your time or money. The technician that came to our house was not the problem. It is the incompetent office staff that does not know what they are doing that causes the problem. They are not professional or respective of time and money of their customers. They ask for photo's to make sure that they have the correct parts but fail to mention that they do not provide nor can they provide the parts and throw it off on you to provide them. Then waste more time of ours to get the parts then when they come out they then inform you that they can not perform the whole job because the parts you ordered do not work. The best part is because of the incompetence of the office staff, which I think she might be the owner which is scary, the items that you purchased can not be returned due to their inability to perform a job in a reasonable amount of time. The company will blame the customer for all their mistakes. I would stay away from this business because they are not customer friendly nor are they an ethical business.

The first time I use this company was because I had actually called on them in a previous job and remember them being so nice. I also could not get my normal plumbing company (at the time) to come out as quickly as I needed them. Connie is extremely knowledgeable and has given me great tips and tricks to prevent pipes freezing, what to do when pipes burst, and preventing it from happening again. I’ve use this company time and time again and will continue to do so based on her expertise alone. But the work they do is also fantastic-the prices are fair, the employees are also on time, they clean up after themselves, and they get the job done. Extremely professional. Highly, highly recommend.

I have tried every big-name company in the county, during the past 30 years of living in my aging U.A. home….for a laundry list of plumbing issues. I could go on and on about the disappointments and expenses I have encountered. FINALLY, after listening to the consistent and numerous recommendations from relatives and neighbors, I found the BEST, MOST RELIABLE, HONEST, AND FAIRLY PRICED COMPANY that I recommend to everyone I know and would NEVER think of using anyone other than OLD HILLIARD PLUMBING!

A recent, traumatic predicament captures the essence of their company. On the day the state-mandated the STAY AT HOME ORDER (except for essential services) I discovered water dripping from a newly installed basement ceiling, seeming to be coming from a newly constructed bathroom right above the water leak. Not only did I doubt that I could get anyone out here that very day, but became quite panicked about the damage happening to all of the brand new construction. The owner of Old Hilliard made sure one of her very best and experienced employees arrived here before nightfall. The problem turned out to NOT be a simple or easy issue. Nevertheless, no matter how short-handed or the level at which their schedule was packed…..they returned for THREE days to solve and remedy some major mistakes made by the construction crew!

I simply cannot say enough about the gratitude I have for this company, their owner, superior employees, and dedication to quality service.

I was charged 70 bucks for a service call and told I needed a new control board,spec special order 5 or 6 hundred bucks plus the same amount for installation of new stuff. second opinion 50$ for a new ingnitor. Saved 950$. What a scam I don't recommend Hilliard's plumbing ripoff to anyone. totally bad experience

I guess they were good we really didn't need anybody they just came out and did our backflow and mailed and mailed in the sheet to the city so I would say they did a fine job they did what they were supposed to do and that's all I needed
