Best In Line Camera Inspection in Columbus OH

So, this is my second time with Roto-rooter. Three stars for their professional and clean work. Just this time, I feel alittle different. I didnot get to see the receipt that they charge me for the part. And for the the new valve that they install for me, it not go all the way in with the pipe. They said it is okay to put it like that. It is not a big deal. Instead they told me if there is something wrong with the valve, it hav warranty and call whoever to come and see. I hope it is true. Because when they took the old one off, it pretty tight that they have to use some strength to take it out. I paid the full cost cus I expect the work to be done well. And it is not cheap. It is very expensive. Almost 500 bucks for this morning. Probably would think twice if I want to use their service again.

They were able to come before our scheduled time which was fantastic. They did diagnostic testing on our furnace and was very professional.

Both technicians did a fantastic job fixing my emergency plumbing issue.

Worst company I’ve dealt with in a very long time. probably the most unprofessional and incompetent people I’ve worked with. Literally didn’t show up on The day of first appointment. Called next day to make another appointment for next week. Didn’t show up on time so I called again. Showed up an hour later for an estimate. Gave me an estimate and told me the office would call me to make an appointment with me to actually get my drain fixed. No one ever called me. I called two days later and the lady at the office told me the job was marked as “complete” when it literally wasn’t even started. So I made an appointment for the next week for my drain to actually be fixed. Guy was 45 mins late again and was rude. Didn’t fix the drain. Couldn’t have had a worse experience. Will never use this company or recommend them to anyone. I’ll make sure that every home owner I know and that moves to Columbus never uses drainmaster. They clearly don’t care about how they treat people or care about other people’s time, which in 2019 is the worst thing you could do.

David A. was fantastic! Neat and clean. Listened to what I wanted to accomplish (replace outdoor spigot bib), gave me a quote and explained it, then did the job. Tested it (no leaks!) and then gave me the bill. While at the house I asked him about an estimate to replace 2 hot water heaters. He listened carefully and thoughtfully, took pictures and said he would get back to me. He wore booties in the house and was really pleasant to interact with. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

Buyer BEWARE. These guys are bad news. Got their jetter stuck in the sewer main out on city of Columbus property. It happens I get it and I offered to pay to have it dug up. The owner continued to delay delay delay. Had to hire another company come dig up the majority of it while the owner of a sterling comitted to removing the rest of it. Over a year later now, part of its still in the city main ready to disrupt plumbing flow for an entire cit block. Unprofessional….recommend extreme caution with these guys!

Great company to do business with.
Our in ground swimming pool had a crack in one of the steps , the steps were not supported underneath.
Chuck and Joe did a great job of drilling few holes and filling the cavity with a filler which reinforced the steps and they are now solid.
Chuck and Joe were on time, professional and courteous. Very happy with American Leak and their entire company.
It was nice to do business with a company that not only did excellent work but the follow up and communication was first rate.

Tech did a great job in my root removal. No issues with him. I thought the service was extremely expensive though. I did not like (without warning me) them sending out a water damage specialist beforehand and trying to sell me on a $5K-$10K job on basically removing wet carpet and pad and removing a small patch of drywall. Kept pushing you would only pay your deductible angle. Just left a bad taste. Then after cleaning the line and getting flow the tech felt maybe the line had a pitch' from settling and he was concerned and thought best to camera the line the next day. I really had no issue with that, it gave me an impression that he was looking out for my best interest. BUT the next day he returned with a water mitigation specialist to camera the line. However: they again ran the snake down the line to the main without issue but could not camera because the line was full of water and nowhere to go because the city line was backed up. They agreed to come back and camera once the city flow caught up. Here's the kicker, they charged me for the camera videoing without even performing the service. So I basically bought a $150 service without it being performed. That didn't set well with me. So in summary, if you can afford an expensive service, constant collateral services being pushed at you in the beginning and the end of the process then go for it. The tech did a good job doing what he said he would do.

They replaced my 19 year old water heater with a Rheem water heater, Mike explained the features of the water heater and that I needed to drain it once a year so it will last longer. I would recommend this company for anyone needing plumbing services.

We never call anyone else. They've done three jobs for us and did them well. They're affordable and dependable. We HIGHLY recommend them.

Very professional, knew their job, will definitely use them again

We have used Drainbusters in the past and they have always done well. During recent issues, we used a bigger company that charged way more. Looking back at my past invoices I noticed Drainbusters was there and decided to go back to them. Glad I did. For this most recent job, we never got a call back from the other big company, but Drainbusters came the next day. Jason came in a quickly got the sewer line cleaned out. Always friendly, was here early, and got the job done. I will be going with Drainbusters in the future!

I rarely post comments online. I am actually looking for a plumber to replace my water heater so I pulled out my folder of invoices from past plumbers we've used. I'm using them to jog my memory on who was good and who was not. I remember this one guy fixed my leak, but left a small mess after repairing a leak at my water meter in the basement. Reading these other posts, I was thinking that I shouldn't use these guys. Then wait! I had used them before. They fixed my leak, but I also evaluate service technicians on their professionalism and dedication to not just fixing the problem but leaving their work area as clean or cleaner than when they arrive. These guys did not so the other 1 star posts do not surprise me.
