Best Gas Lines in Columbus OH

My friend recommended this company when my AC gave out during some of the hottest days of July. They were easy to schedule with and super communicative—I’ve rarely had any kind of maintenance/repair services actually let me know when the technician is on their way, as well as updating me midway during the appointment window to let me know that the technician still plans to come that day. Jason was really professional and went the extra mile to get the parts needed. I’ll definitely be using Waterworks again!

We hired Fritz Baumann to replace a faucet in our kitchen. We live out of state, so we tried to be sure and hire someone trustworthy. Before okaying the installation, I tried to be make sure I understood the cost of the work and the faucet to make sure it was affordable. I was told there is an $80 service fee and $70 an hour for work, so it would be $150. I asked the cost of the faucet and I was told it would be under $200. So with this information I assumed the cost of the work would be $300-$350. The next day I saw on our bank card statement we had been charged a lot more than this. After working with Fritz Baumann I have learned a few things you probably could benefit from knowing.

1. There is an $80 service fee. It DOES NOT go toward labor.

2. The work is $70 an hour, regardless how much of the hour you use. There is no prorating.

3. They will mark up the faucet and parts, which I know is common practice. However, I didn't expect $70. I was told by Fritz Baumann it costs more because it is higher quality. I spoke with Moen and that is NOT the case. If the faucet has the same model number it is EXACT the same as what you can purchase at a home store.

A positive for this company is I believe they do good work and responded quickly. However, I asked to speak to the owner (or manager?) and he didn't call me back for three days. When we spoke my goal was to let him know how the communication I had when setting up the service could have been improved. As an owner of a business I assumed he'd want to know how to improve service to future customers. Unfortunately, he kept telling me they had told me all the above on the phone, which wasn't the case. That was exactly what I was trying to communicate. He told me how they have thousands of happy customers, but I told him they had lost us. His response was, I don't mind losing customers I don't want to work for. Well, that sealed the deal for me. I wasn't ugly and didn't raise my voice on the call. Just simply wanted to let them know how they could improve their communication to avoid customers being surprised by a large bill. But I guess he's pretty confident they've got a good thing going and don't need customers. Sadly, we will not be using this company in the future.

I called to have them assess an issue with the drains underground to the curb from downspouts. I asked them to assess 2-3 specific downspouts. They came out quickly the first visit, however it was obvious they did not even look at the specific drains I wanted them to check because the next day it rained and the issue was still there. They came out a second time quickly and low and behold the drains I wanted check were indeed clogged. No camera was used either visit, just cables. They wanted to collect an additional payment for the second visit, however I disputed them because they had not even addressed the original issue the first visit. I asked for an estimate for repairing and the tech that had come out was not qualified to provide one. I called a few days later to ask for the estimate but was told it would be another 1-2 days. That was a week ago. I have not heard from them again. I called another reputable company and they came out same day, cameras down all the drains, and gave an estimate for repairs; and it was a fraction of the cost of Drainmasters. I will not be calling them again.

Phil came the day after I called. He inspected for a small gas leak we had and repaired it the same day. Only had our gas shut off for an hour and his work looks great!

Very knowledgable and fits you into his schedule as quickly as possible. I would have had to wait 14 days longer to get my hot water tank replaced by a local, nationwide organuzation, but Michael took care of me in 2 days!

Communicated twice for an estimate. Never heard back from them again! Lucky and found a very reliable professional and got the job done.

Kitchen sink was filling up with water due to a clogged mainline in our building. Resident manager scheduled G-Tech Plumbing at 4 PM and they were here within an hour! They sent a text with the arrival time and the technicians picture, nice touch!

Shoutout to Audie! Friendly and professional service. Diagnosed the problem and took the time to check the other units. Great attention to detail.. wore shoe covers, cleaned the work space, and made sure the work fixed the issue.

D&L Plumbing did a job for a rental property that backs up to our home and in doing so, tore down our fence and killed two of our trees without notifying us they would be working on our property to access underground sewer lines. When we finally tracked them down, they told us they would return in 30 days to grade, seed and repair the damage but it is now approaching 60 days and they have not returned. The owner will not return our calls and the eyesore you see in these photos is what our back yard has looked like for nearly 2 months. We are preparing to list our home for sale and are very displeased with the lack of response and resolution from D&L Plumbing. It sadly looks as though we will have to seek legal recourse to get anything done. The property owner, Carrie C McMillan, is related to the owner of D&L and when we call her to seek a resolution, she simply hangs up on us.

They repaired a small leak in a copper water line in the basement. Mike was very professional and arrived before the scheduled time. They sent a text and email confirming the appointment time, and sent a text to say they were on their way. I'm vary satisfied with the work performed, and Mike did a complete inspection of all the water lines in the basement. I will use them again.

This work was on one of my rentals. Everything that was capable of leaking was leaking including the main drain.. I highly recommend ECO, and they back their work. Happy customer!!

Columbia Gas had to shut my gas off due to it leaking. Called All Lines Gas And Plumbing spoke to Mike who explained everything to me. He was prompt on his arrival time and had my gas turned back on same day. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Will use again.

Very dependable and tech explained what was going on with the sump pump. Problem was solved.

I've used Calhoun twice now and each time they are on time and get the job done right. The first time was to install a gas line from my basement to the kitchen so that we could install a gas range. The second time was for a leak in our basement. John came out and was running ahead of schedule. He called before coming out to make sure we were available for the early arrival. He listened to our theories and found the very likely source of the leak without any damage to the house. He will be back to make sure it's correct and put the permanent fix into place. We feel very comfortable with the Calhoun plumbers in our home and they have been so nice and very reasonably priced.

Employ very reckless drivers, will never use this company for my plumbing needs in the future.
