We had an emergency gas line break at work on one of our properties that we conduct work on. Found we had a gas leak where our main line entered the house. Phil came out that day and let me know that while it was something that needed quick repair, it was not a dangerous situation. Definitely eased our minds. Within a couple days Phil and his team were there and ran a new line from the meter into house in less then a day and solved all our problems. Called to get an estimate on a new gas line to my cooktop. Phil was super helpful and friendly. Clear on what to expect and even came out the next day to do the install. He showed up on time, talked me through the work. Took care of everything while I worked from home and showed it all working before he left. Couldn't ask for better service. A+ service all the way. I had gas leaks in house.They sent out several workers which were all nice and knew their job. They installed all new valves, and went to the attic to check for leaks and fixed things definitely above and beyond. Installed new piping and even tested pressure outside with no additional fees as other companies do. They also gave great detail over the phone of everything that was going on and answered questions. It was such a pleasure to work with Phil. we’ve been two years trying to figure out gas line problems put $1600 into the lines and still no result of being able to get the gas turned back on Phil. came over ran a pressure check went through the entire system found the two small leaks repaired immediately ran another pressure check didn’t leave our house until he knew our gas would be able to be turned on. I needed a new gas line for my new backup generator. I called Phil and was immediately impressed by his friendly demeanor. I told him what I needed and he set me up for a site visit. He talked me through the options and explained the pros and cons of each. We settled on the option that made the most sense. We scheduled a time for the work to begin. He was there right on time, completed the work quickly and efficiently. Phil also communicated with the county inspector to be sure the work was done to the inspector’s standard.
All in all a good experience and I recommend Phil very highly.

Phil was incredibly responsive, professional and helpful in repairing a gas line and installing a new riser after a bad experience with a previous service provider. While he was doing repairs, he also added a line to hookup my gas grill, and offered to come back to help me setup the grill once it’s purchased! Contacted Phil at Columbus Gas Pro after 7pm on a Thursday after Columbia Gas shut off gas due to leak on our side of the meter, which is installed inside our home. Phil sent out 2 techs the next day to address the leak. The techs were professional, courteous, and showed up on the early side of the 2 hour window provided by Phil. They had the repair completed in less than an hour including the installation of some ball valves on a fireplace gas line and replacing an old grease valve on our furnace, which were not part of the original request. Communication, transparency professionalism and pricing were all excellent. The work was completed during a cold spell as well. Highly recommended!

He was able to explain exactly what code issues Columbia Gas was having with our gas line and was completely transparent about pricing and possible issues. On site, he had to speak with our Home Warranty company for over an hour to get work authorized so we could be reimbursed. He explained everything and did a stellar job. I needed a gas line ran from my house to a newly built detached garage. I called several places that either wouldn't return my call, would come out, but not give me a quote, and some with ridiculous high prices. When I submitted my request on Home Advisor, Phil reached out to me very quickly, on Christmas Eve, none the less! We spoke about my project and I gave him as much detail as I could over the phone. He was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone. We schedule a date/time for an onsite quote. He came out on time and his quote was spot on from his over-the-phone estimate. I hired Columbus Gas Pro and the owner, Phil (it’s a one man operation) to repair a leaky gas line in my hundred year old home. I had already gotten one opinion which was a recommendation to replace my entire line.

Phil was able to come out first thing in the morning and find and repair a gas leak for 10% of what another company had quoted me for the full replacement. He saved me a lot of money and was able to professionally find and address the root of the problem rather than recommend an unnecessary replacement job.

A friend of mine bought a new home in Pataskala OH and ordered all brand new appliances including a gas range. I offered to help install the new appliances to help save $$$. Refrigerator/dishwasher/microwave are all fairly easy, but connecting a gas range was a little daunting. I followed the instructions that came with the connection kit (tubing, adapters, pipe sealant, leak detection fluid) but was detecting small bubbles. I called Columbus Gas Pro to see if someone could come and check the connections, but the gentleman on the phone offered some free advice on how to seal the connection better to avoid a service fee. I was able to follow his advice and now the connections are leak free. I sincerely appreciate the honesty and integrity and would very much recommend them to anyone needing gas or other plumbing services!

I called eco plumbers because Columbia Gas had turned off my gas because they found a few leaks and told me exactly were they were. The man came out told me he would have to do a pressure test which was 300.00 and once he was done he found around 10 leaks and said my hot water tank needed replaced before the gas would be turned on. Once he gave me the estimates which started at 11,000.00 to the lowest which was 3100.00. I then called Columbus Gas Pro and Phil answered and I told him what had happened and I didn't know what to do. He explained to me that they probably over pressurized the system to make it look like I had all these leaks when I probably only have a few and he said the price would probably be around $300.00 unless it was serious. He came out did the Pressure test the correct way and what Columbia gas will do and found 3 tiny leaks. He repaired the pipes, told to me call Columbia gas and I got my gas turned on that day. I'm very grateful that I found Phil and that he was honest and didn't gouge me for everything or make me take out a second mortgage .He knew exactly what to do and how to fix the problem.
