He was courteous, and provided upfront pricing that can't be beat in addition to free education and helpful tips. Also a local, self-made business owner. What's not to love!

Late Tuesday night, my business partner discovered a very bad gas leak. She called Colorado Springs Utilities, and after an extensive search, the problem was located, but since there was no local gas cut-off, gas had to be cut off for the whole house. I called Affordable Plumbing at 8 am sharp, and they had a technician on hand by 10:30 am...he cleared his schedule, stayed most of the day, actually re-engineered the badly antiquated and faulty gas-line network to the furnace in the crawl space, fixed the entire problem, and cut off the sources of potential future problems. Their invoice was almost exactly what I expected it to be. The technician, Lee, was superior in his knowledge, professionalism, and problem-solving skills. I was impressed.

This company has come out to the place that I'm renting 4 maybe 5 times in the past 3yrs and they still can't fix the problem. If I could give a zero rating I would.

These guys were nothing short of amazing!! We had a main line collapse in our yard and was rusted out under our house. They came out and fixed it in less than a day. The crew were friendly and informative.
I would however recommend they get someone else to answer phones. We waited 7 hours for her to call us back just to tell us IF they could even come out to give an estimate. She wrote my card number down on paper and didn't know my bill amount when I called to pay. She had our names wrong on the bill and seemed like she didnt overall know what she was doing.
Aside from have a terrible receptionist which is sometimes beyond control... I would definitely recommend this place! They treated us like we were their own family (probably better).

Matthew Bullock is one of the most professional guys I have ever had the privilege of dealing with. His attention to detail as well as his positive professionalism was amazing. He made me and my wife very comfortable as well as kept giving us updates along the way of the repair. He got the job done in a timely manner and triple checked his work. Mark is affordable and easy to get a hold of. He does all the plumbing for my rental property and bills me after. It makes my life so much easier that I don't have to drive to the Springs every time there is a plumbing issue. He also does great work that he guarantees. Cannot recommend A+ enough! They went above and beyond to take care of us. They were on time, had great communication, knowledgeable, straight up with us on what we did and did not need and reasonable on price. I am grateful I now have a go to plumber for anything I need. We noticed our AC wasn't really reaching the upstairs of our house and looking closer, there was some frost/condensation on the AC line that was a little worrying so we made a few calls over the weekend to try to get in somewhere. Not only did they answer promptly on a Saturday, the gentleman we talked to took the time to explain a fee 'this is what it could be' scenarios. They sent Mark out to us the next day who was professional, very nice and thorough in explaining exactly what was wrong and fixed it. All on a Sunday morning. All with extremely fair pricing. I can't tell you how thrilled we are. We will be staying with Comfort by Design for all of our HVAC needs in the future. We HIGHLY recommend!
