Affordable Rooter

A couple months ago, my washer wasn't draining properly. The first plumber I called didn't even look at the problem and try to sell me a full repipe for several thousand dollars. Then I called Affordable Rooter, and Mark came out and fixed the problem in a couple hours for $200.

More recently, my water heater went out. Kevin came out and quoted me a reasonable price for a simple tank replacement. I had to prompt them about a tankless water heater and replacing the galvanized water lines. There was no pressure at all. Kevin and Mark started the job right away and worked two very long days to get my hot water back as soon as possible. The end price was very close to the original quote, only slightly higher because they replaced some of the old cast iron drain pipes as well. I am very happy with the quality of their work. I highly recommend them for any size plumbing job.

This company is the standard when it comes to customer service and overall knowledge in the field. The office ladies, Mary and Lisa are so kind and friendly. Troy the plumber is skilled and competent. I went to this company after another tried to over quote me and take advantage of an already bad situation. Thank you to Robert the owner and his entire team, you will be my go to plumbing company from now on.

Today was the 3rd or 4th time I have used this company. They saved me literally thousands on a sewer line repair compared to competitors quotes last year They have been honest, affordable, and timely on every job. I won't use anyone else.

We just had our sewer replaced and the guys were great! Friendly, professional, and joked around with us. Did the job in the time they said they would and kept us informed. Would recommend to anyone!

Robert and his crew did an excellent job replacing an old, rusted out drain pipe, and installed a clean out for future access. I have an older house that has not had the drains replaced. Robert forgave my ignorance and explained the condtion and repairs necessary to get my kitchen/washer drain functional again. Had these guys come out and replace my main sewer line since the clay had broke and was backing up in my crawl space. Guys showed up on time, were professional, really a bunch of good guys. They also did it for what I feel, was a good price. I will definitely have them do any other plumbing stuff I might need. Highly recommend!

Over the past month, Troy has repaired 2 faucets, replaced a kitchen faucet and a shower head and now, the day before we list our house for sale we had a plumbing emergency and he rushed on over here to mitigate it. This plumber is a genuine life saver, and at very reasonable prices with great quality workmanship. Thank you!

This place is horrible they came because our bathtub is leaking and we asked them to fix the leak also clean out some drains all they did was clean the drains out and leave our Bath tub leaking and as we trusted them without doublechecking charged us almost $300 for something that they did not even fix on top of that they were speaking to someone that did not speak 100% English so they took a vantage of the situation and did not correct the problems that we hired them for and charges as if they did and as soon as I called their office to speak to a manager she yells at me and says we should have hired someone that spoke our language and if we wanted to fix our leak we need to still pay $150 to get it fixed this place is very disrespectful and discriminates on anyone that is not American this place is very rude and does a terrible job their customer service sucks and doesn’t deserve any business please take it from me if you don’t speak perfect English and don’t watch them throughout the whole process you will get scammed I can’t believe they took a vantage of my mother and didn’t fix our problem and now our water bill is over $200 I just got out of the hospital from surgery and come home to find out that nothing was fixed properly this company is terrible warning do not use this company I promise you you will regret it if I could give them zero stars or negative stars I would

Just had affordable plumbing out to clean out my main drain and they are awesome from the front desk to the field technician Kevin. Kevin was awesome fixed the issue quickly with great customer service at a very reasonable price. Thanks and you have a customer as long as I live here in the springs.

Came out to repair a leaky valve which required a new 1 inch piece of copper pipe. Installed a pvc water line from main water line to refrigerator ice maker. Invoice from day one inspection and fixing copper pipe was $96 dollars less than what I ended up paying when they came back to finish the job by installing the water line. Told me that parts adjusted the cost even though all parts were known about the day of the original estimate. Didn’t get a very good answer when I asked why the cost was so different between the two invoices. This company has affordable in their name but I feel that they ripped me off. I do not recommend the use of this plumbing company.

I had experienced an emergency plumbing issue and was frustrated that i had to call someone to fix the problem. After being politely greeted by the office staff, and assured that I would get the best plumber for my situation, Affordable Rooter sent me Mike ReAves. Mike was professional, the greeting was welcoming and not awkward. Mike kept his work space clean and most important he protected my property by laying out drop clothes and wearing protective covers for his shoes. Mike Trouble shot the issue immediately, he gave me pricing before starting, and was done quickly. When I asked how he became so experienced, only then did I learn that he was a Master Plumber. I appreciate that he did not boast about his title and proved his knowledge. I would Highly recommend Using Affordable Rooter and definitely recommend Mike ReAves.

Absolutely amazing experience! Master plumber Mike Reaves came out to the house right on time. I had a pipe burst and Mike had it fixed in no time at all. Mike kept me informed the entire time of what he was encountering and even gave me some tips as to avoid a recurrence of the issue. As a bonus, the job cost way less than I anticipated. I could not be more pleased!

We had a sewer drain in our basement back up. Troy and Brandon, from Affordable Rooter, ran a camera all the way to the street. They were able to determine that someone had put baby wipes down the drain. Also, we didn’t know that some thicker toilet paper, like Cottonelle, is not biodegradable and often clogs up drains. The were professional and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend them!

Setting the appointment was easy and the plumber who came was nice. My only issue was the cost. I was charged $385 to replace the outdoor water faucet that was leaking. I didn't have any idea how much it should cost and thought it seemed too expensive but when the plumber told me the cost, I didn't feel comfortable haggling with him. Later I looked up the average cost for this area and it is between $150 and $300. This was above even the high end, which didn't match up with their name, Affordable Rooter. Again, my only issue is that I feel taken advantage of as a single woman and was overcharged.

The cleanest, fastest and most honest plumber so far in the Colorado Springs area.

If you need work done fast, well and accurate I would recommend Mark and Affordable Rooter, not to be confused with either Affordable Plumbing (broke our water line then refused to fix and fill without being paid 4k) or Rooter Town (wanted to charge us 14-16k for unnecessary work)

Had a bad clog in our bathtub drain. Called these guys and was sent Kyle. Not only was he extremely quick and professional, he served us with a smile the whole time even dealing with a ridiculous crawl space and rain. This man needs a raise....

Our toilet seal broke-through and was leaking all over the bathroom. Affordable Rooter had a plumber to the house within an hour and fixed it quickly. The woman I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and helpful and the plumber who fixed the toilet was respectful and a nice individual. The cost was quite reasonable and the quality of work was great. I highly recommend their services to anyone.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! From the moment I called this company to the moment they pulled out of the driveway, every single interaction with every employee was incredibly professional! I had sewage backing up into my basement bathtub at my mountain property- I thought it was a septic system issue and called the folks who last pumped my septic tank. They told me it was likely a clog, and recommended Affordable Rooter. I called their office and the person who answered my call was very friendly and scheduled my appointment for later that day. The crew arrived at the scheduled time (Troy and Matt). It turned out to be a bit more complicated than a simple clog, but they confidently knew what was going on and took care of the clog. They both explained everything that they were doing, and were very helpful in answering all of my questions- no matter how strange they were! I will definitely keep their contact information and will use them again should the need arise. Thank you, Affordable Rooter!

We've consistently had excellent service from Affordable Rooter. Same great experience when AR provided a second opinion to a family member who was told by another company that expensive excavation and other procedures were needed (they were not!). There are a number of Affordables out there, make sure you talk with Affordable Rooter.

I called up this morning because we were having plumbing issues and spoke with Lisa as well as marry and they are just the sweetest sent out someone in the morning and when kevin arrived who was our technician he was just wonderful they really care about helping and also being affordable I would recommend them !!!

All the drains in my house (built in 1956) stopped running yesterday morning, so I called Affordable Rooter. Chad had an opening and was able to come out late afternoon. He explained what he was doing, what the potential problems might be, and worked for over an hour with a snake to get the drain cleared. As it turned out, the main drain had issues and he had to bring a camera to scope it today. He spent about 3 hours this here morning and has given me information about every step of the operation. He made sure that the drain was clear enough today so that I could flush toilets and run water. I'll need to have some major work done on Monday in order to avoid a recurrence of the issue or backup/flooding, but I'm grateful that Chad was able to get me up and running for the weekend. I received a detailed, itemized bill from Chad. I'm very pleased with the service I've received from Chad and Affordable Rooter and highly recommend them!

Thank you to Mark Clark for saving the day !!!! We had a clogged and leaking kitchen sink as well as the washing machine backing up in to the shower. He had all our issues fixed in a timely manner and the cost was amazing. Definitely found my go to plumber.

Never had my call returned. I did call during business hours. Had to go with a different company.

Called them out for after hours service paid the additional fee as expected. After a few hours of work and being charged $300 for a $30 (on the manufacturer’s website)part I was told they couldn’t fix it. (Equipment was under warranty as well). Service provider was polite but a little dishonest in telling me he waived his fee for time as I’m pretty sure this was part of the exorbitant part charge. Can’t recommend.

I cant thank these guys enough for fixing our broken water pipe. I called in the morning and Robert the owner was here that afternoon to give me an estimate which was very reasonable considering the job and the urgency. His team were on site first thing next morning and everything was fixed by lunch time. Definitely know where to go now if we have any more issues.

You wake up and discover your toilet is clogged so badly, that sewage is coming up from your damn shower drain. How could this get worse? Oh, that's right...you have a party in a matter of hours. So when you call three other places that don't return your call, you feel as though all hope is just...lost. However, you call this place and you're told it can be taken care of. The guy show up and he's the proverbial 'House' of plumbing (thank you, Andre) who walked in, and knew what needed to be done almost immediately. He was done in about an hour and the party went on. The crew at Affordable Rooter did an absolutely amazing job of replacing my entire sewer line fom my home to the city main. I was fortunate enough that this wasn't an emergency repair, so I had plenty of time to get quotes from several different companies. Not only was Affordable Rooter's quote much less the others, but from the get-go they seemed much more professional and prepared than their competitors. This was no small job, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. The job was completed quickly, they did an absolutely AMAZING job of putting my back yard back together after the excavation, all with no unwelcome surprises along the way. While I hope to never have to have a sewer line excavated again, I will absolutely contact Affordable Rooter for my future plumbing needs.

We had a major back up problem from our main line drain in the basement and Troy came out the very next day and fixed it in under an hour and for SIGNIFICANTLY less than the big businesses quoted! We will definitely use them again should we have any other plumbing issues!

My house was for sale, and another plumber looked at the sewer line and recommended a full replacement. I was shocked to hear this news, since I owned the property for more than ten years and did not have a problem. Affordable Rooter was extremely helpful. They came out to the house and cleaned the line, after which they did a video scope. They did not recommend a replacement, and I learned that suggesting replacement without cleaning a line first is actually a way that other companies can get customers to spend money unnecessarily. I am so grateful I called them! Thank you so much for your honest services!

Mark came out, fixed our drain issue and took care of another issue that needed do e. We called 3 places. One did shoddy work. One never showed. These guys came out. Took care of it. We are very happy. Could pay by CC. Wish we'd have been able to hire them for the previous job.

When our kitchen sink became seemingly hopelessly clogged, we called around. Well, Affordable Plumbing/Rooter was our choice because of Lisa (in the office) and the way she described their no risk service. Kyle was at our house within an hour and 45 minutes later our kitchen was working once again. With a 30 day warranty how can you lose! The price was reasonable and Kyle was a clean cut and friendly representative of the company. I highly recommend Affordable Rooter!

Called Affordable rooter last week to make an appointment, the appointment time that I could make work was at 2pm. At 11:30 am the day of the appointment I received a voicemail and then text messages from the plumber Troy saying that he was finished with his morning appointment early and that he can come to my house now. I was surprised how he worded the voicemail and text in thinking I was just hanging out at my house not doing anything but waiting. I told him that I planned my day around the 2pm appointment and that I was working and could not meet him earlier than the “scheduled” appointment. Plumber Troy said he would be at my house at 2pm as scheduled. I had a hunch after the text message that he would be late to the 2pm appointment, so when 2pm rolled around as predicted no sign of Plumber Troy. I texted him at 2:18pm and said if he wasn’t at my house in 5 min that to just forget the appointment. I did not received a text at 2pm or before saying he was going to be late. In fact I never received a text of him saying he was going to be late. I got one text saying he was headed my way. When I asked his ETA I received no text back. After my text I called the company office spoke with Michelle told her what had happened and that I felt the company lacks customer service. Michelle then goes on to make excuses for Troy which told me that this company seriously lacks customer service. I canceled the appointment. I have never done a review but felt it very necessary to do so for those of us who respect good customer service.

These guys were nothing short of amazing!! We had a main line collapse in our yard and was rusted out under our house. They came out and fixed it in less than a day. The crew were friendly and informative.
I would however recommend they get someone else to answer phones. We waited 7 hours for her to call us back just to tell us IF they could even come out to give an estimate. She wrote my card number down on paper and didn't know my bill amount when I called to pay. She had our names wrong on the bill and seemed like she didnt overall know what she was doing.
Aside from have a terrible receptionist which is sometimes beyond control... I would definitely recommend this place! They treated us like we were their own family (probably better).

Was able to schedule an appointment on short notice and Dwayne came and took care of the problem easy! You guys have no idea how much headache he just relieved for my whole family! 100% recommended.

This company is fantastic! We had a crushed sewer line in the street that affordable rooter fixed. Their price was very reasonable and the job went like clockwork. I couldn't be happier. We have also used them in the past to rooter our sewer line . They have a great bunch of guys working for them who are both friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them.

My bad plumbing experience. I called Affordable plumbing. I told the lady what was wrong and she said she would have the plumber call me back to give me an estimate. So, he called me back but couldn't do an estimate over the phone per him. One thing I needed was some new pipes and a p trap under my kitchen sink. It is 49 for them to come look at it. So I said ok. He said the p trap would be over 100 for that plus replacing maybe 5 small pipes. He quoted me over 300.00. Also, I have a pipe that sheared in the tub at the drain. He wanted to cut a few holes in my walls to find the leak even though I told him where it was and that it has happened before. He said it might not be that. Ok, he is right, but wanting to cut 75 dollars a hole was just ridiculous and as he said he would need a few. He wanted to start behind the shower spout and not go under the house and check that pipe real quick. HUH! That price just for cutting 3 holes is 225 and that doesn't include any parts for the tub or labor for the other work. I told him way too much. No way am I paying that much. So I gave him his check for 49 and sent him on his way. Beware.. Update. Had another plumber come out who thought the price was ridiculous and a ripoff . 25.00 in parts. 100 labor
