We were very happy with our experience with Affordable Plumbing and Heating.John Lott who explained all the options that were available to us and helped us decide what would work best for our needs in our home. He was very informative and a pleasure to work with.Adam and Chean removed our old furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater. They then installed our new equipment. They were very efficient and knowledgeable - answered all our questions in a way that we could understand! They were friendly and left their work areas in perfect order.I would highly recommend Affordable Plumbing and Heating and these employees to anyone.

Nathan was prompt and fixed our problem. He assessed the whole heating system and gave us a lot of feedback. The feedback was mostly inaccurate and unrelated to the ignition problem in our unit that just needed cleaning.The quote for 6k dollars to change our duct work on a 6hr year old home with excellent efficiency was bit of a error. I do my best to teach my wife and kids to look out for these people.Unfortunately I cannot recommend or use One Source again.

They did a fantastic job and the cost was less than expected. They even fixed a few other minor unrelated issues and didn't charge for them. I'll be calling them again if I experience any further problems.

We live in a rental and the landlord had a humidifier replaced in the spring of 2011. Unfortunately, HVAC Solutions did not install the drain line properly for two reasons. First, they didn't allow enough slack as it was wrapped around the plenum, so it crimped over time. Second, they did not route the drain line so it gravity fed properly. At a low humidity setting it worked fine. However, when we turned up the humidity to higher level the humidifier did not drain fast enough. As a result it backed up and partially flooded the mechanical room. Fortunately, we caught it before it caused too much damage. I personally checked the drain line and it was NOT clogged. It backed up was due to the two reasons I stated earlier. The technician came to the house (Jan 2013) and CONFIRMED my diagnosis. He agreed that the line was NOT clogged, but needed to re-routed to avoid the kink and allow it to gravity feed properly to the floor drain. This was obviously an initial installation problem.

The landlord told me he was charged for the service call. I personally contacted the manager because I thought this was totally unfair. The manager told me the line had clogged due to sentiment, which caused the flooding. I told him this was not the case and stated the reasons above, which were CONFIRMED by the technician. He disagreed with me, but told me he would speak to the owner. He called me back and let me know that they would not reimburse our landlord for the service because the line was clogged.

Wow! This REALLY surprised me, since the technician saw that the drain line was NOT clogged! I was with the technician when he corrected the problem. Again, he verbalized that the drain was NOT clogged. Since he rerouted the drain line, the humidifier has worked fine. This to me is an integrity issue and a total disregard for customer service. Therefore, I rated them as one star and WOULD NOT recommend this HVAC company to anyone.

Matthew Bullock is one of the most professional guys I have ever had the privilege of dealing with. His attention to detail as well as his positive professionalism was amazing. He made me and my wife very comfortable as well as kept giving us updates along the way of the repair. He got the job done in a timely manner and triple checked his work. I have used Parkey's off and on for many years. Keith is a very nice person and seems to be knowledgeable about my heating system. He said I needed a new Control Board since it was overheating and it would cost $500. I had a second opinion and they said they did not feel it warranted a replacement at this time. Their price to replace it if it did need replacing was $200-300. If.and when I need it replaced I will go with this company. They r a reputable company as State Farm Insurance and Leap uses them. Our water heater was ancient and died. On a Saturday morning, we couldn’t find a single plumber open or who would do weekend work until we found Alphalete. Amazing service they came as soon as they could, we sent them pictures of the water heater and where it was they came out and it wouldn’t drain they lugged it out of the closet with out causing any damage or mess. The floor under it was horrible and needed replaced they showed us and advised we replace it but made it our call to do so. We did and rescheduled the install for the next day at no extra cost or convenience fee. They came out and got it in and set up and it’s beautiful!!! They advised us about the inspection we would need and that we needed more CO2 detectors. Scheduled the inspection in and out and bam life is back to normal and the water heater is a dream. They send a text before they arrive with a picture of your technician and all his info. They answer any questions you have, a stellar warranty and customer oriented service. I want everyone to use them!

Another update: Leaving all my reviews to show the trail, but eventually they did fix my water heater. The guy they sent was very kind and pleasant. I am grateful that it was fixed even though I had a migraine in the process. I would still call them again as the on-call guy did fix it and was a nice person.

I had my water heater fixed 8/30/21, and it already stopped working. Trying to call them about this is impossible. They do not answer the phone if they know someone with a problem needs them. They also sent me a bill that should have gone to my landlord when he disputed their charges to his credit card, and they included his credit card information. Seriously, they gave me access to my landlords credit card. They did not even look at the name on the credit card that had reversed the charges. Now I have to have them back for repair work, and I am very nervous about having them in my apartment again. The last guy was very rude to me and acted like I was inconveniencing him instead of paying him to do a job. So unprofessional!!!

Jeremy W and Anthony G came in on time and did a great job. They put drop clothes down and cleaned up when they were done. Great communication skills. Showed us how to use our new air conditioner and even worked well with my curious cats that kept getting in the way.

Marc was on-time, efficient and professional in the repair of our gas leak. Our home is older, and as old homes go, character can be a little channenging to work with. Marc took it all in stride and was done in just over an hour! Great job Marc! Thank you, Nick
