Final review 12/6/21The company that came out extracted the water from the carpet and cut out the saturated pad, dried out the basement over 2 days and picked everything up, saying another company would come to repair the pad and fix the baseboards and everything that was torn up initially. Come to find out, the other company was going to charge for this service, when it was supposed to be One Source who covered it due to their mistake. After a lot of back and forth between the carpet company, and the company that dried out the mess, I tried to get ahold of the technician as he was the contact who needed to get with the carpet company. I never heard back from either of them, leaving our basement unfinished. We ended up doing the repairs ourselves. I would NEVER recommend one source for any reason.New review 11/1/21Our water heater inspection was scheduled for the Monday following the installation. When I got the call, I went to turn on the basement lights and make sure he had access, only to find that water had been leaking from both water heaters, presumably since install 5 days prior. The carpet in the basement was drenched, as well as some insulation where the water heaters sit. We had to call someone out to fix it, and despite saying what the issue was they did not send us a plumber, but an HVAC technician. He was awesome, however, and ended up getting the original technician back out to fix his mistake. They also got ahold of a company to come so the water extraction from the carpet.I can barely give this service two stars. It's only due to the fact that they are trying to remedy the mistake, and that the HVAC technician who came out went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. But, we did also have items on our order that we paid for that were not installed because they weren't needed for code requirements but they were also not addressed to be removed from our bill.Old review 10/28/21Everyone I worked with today was very professional and knowledgeable about what we needed. We had a leaking water heater, and they came the very next day after I called and even replaced the tank, and the other which was just as old and about to fail as well, in the same day. I’m so pleased with their level of service, I wouldn’t hesitate to go through them for any other plumbing needs we have.

Chris was absolutely amazing! He even came over on Mother’s Day. My hot water heater was not cooperating at all, Chris ensured that we had hot water. The service I have used currently is for the company to locate a leak. This company has been responsive and timely to come to my home and investigate the problem. They found the problem, sent me a quote and I plan to use them to make the repairs. Very customer friendly.

Used to use this company but after the last visit, I'm switching to anyone other than HPE. Contractor came, partially fixed the problem, and then charged me 3.5 hours for what I recall was maybe 2 hours at the house. 45 minutes of that time owed to the contractor having to go to the store to buy parts. After partially fixing the issue, charged $540 dollars. Then, have an estimate of $500 more dollars to fix the rest, owing to a bad wire that must have become disconnected in the crawlspace. $500 for a wire?? Called for a second opinion from another vendor, they inspected, tested wires and found wires intact, with thermostats being the problem. They had to undo everything HPE did to fix the problem, which did NOT include $500 for a wire. How can you provide an estimate and cost of a problem you didn't even personally check in the first place? Proved to me HPE is ripping folks off for time and labor, for parts, and for notorious 2nd or 3rdvisits required to fix what other companies fix the first time. I do not recommend and if I could give zero stars, I would.

Was my 2nd consult on a furnace repair or replacement. Provided a most efficient system plus humidifier at half the cost of a similar system from another company! Scheduled 2 days for install, but the team completed it in one day. Mike and Brian were professional, efficient and friendly. The office staff was fast and responsive to my questions. Highly recommend Comfort by Design!

The work was done well. The plumber arrived on time and was able to resolve my plumbing troubles. David Kittle was very polite and professional. This was the second time that he came to do repairs and I was happy to see him return.

All the employees I dealt with were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. During a visit for a winter checkup Jonathan found my furnace to be unsafe. One day later Jerry found other code issues and provided us with information and quotes about replacement. Two days later Darren and David cleaned, sealed and sanitize the duct system. They were especially patient when dealing with our pets. The very next day Bran and Seth installed a new furnace and brought the duct work and hot water heater up to code. They spent extra time and effort to replace a vent in such a way that they did not have to cut into an existing wall. My experience was great.

Super helpful. Didnt mind that I had a million questions, answered everyone and even answered a few I didnt even know I had. Bestway did my solar project over the last few weeks.
