Provided them over $100K in business on a new residential home plumbing and solar thermal radiant heat system. Could never get them to return to fix open item list. They ignore requests and then claim warranty expired. They do not know how to trouble shoot or repair their own installation designs. Emailed and called to quote some boiler maintenance and they do not even bother to return calls or email a reply. They do not stand behind their own designs or will provide maintenance service after the install. They also removed property from the job site not belonging to them and never returned it when asked several times.

Currently not happy with their service. I know its the last year for the $15K tax credit but I need my existing system repaired. Been down almost two weeks. Come on guys!

They installed my solar panel system in 2014. I was happy with the service for the first year or so. Then, it went downhill. On November 20, 2022, my system stopped working. I called and never got a return call. I left messages or the phone just rang. Finally, in mid-December, I drove to the office and found the manager in his office. He told me he had received my messages but didn't have time to return a call. He said his business had been sold to someone on the East Coast and was no longer locally owned. The number of solar techs was decimated during Covid and he couldn't find skilled people to replace them. (Guessing they went to the other solar companies that have popped up.)

He told me I had to call the manufacturer for service now. Ugh. After a month of being down, I finally learned that. However, as a favor he logged a ticket with them and sent his last tech out to take a look at my system. The tech could not fix the issue and the issue was sent to the manufacturer. I had to wait 2 months for them to come out. But when they showed up, they fixed the issue within about 25 minutes.

This company is no longer reliable. I won't be using them again.

We had our solar installed back in late 2014 and early 2015 and it has never worked right it has going off line at lease twice a year if not more. The last few times I had to call Sun Power and they walked through on how to reset it Sun Power sent someone out the first of this month to work on it It was kind of working and when they left it wasn't working at all 2 week later they sent someone out to work on it. I don't think he new what he was doing because ever question I asked he could not answer me. He did get it working after many phone calls and replacing parts. When he got ready to leave I asked if there where any guarantee all he could say it is running now. They other day I got a call and was told they where going to replace the invertor under warrantee and they wanted to know if we where going to be home and I said yes. No one has showed up. I have not received any solar credit on my utility bill. The only credit I have gotten is on my taxies I was told that it would pay for it self it has come no where near. Ever time I ask a the tell me they will get back to me but they don't

Update - After coming across a booth at a home improvement show I explained the situation and got a call from Ash before the day was out. She was very apologetic and assured me the clips would be replaced the following week. She called again on Monday to assure us it would be happening one of two days that same week. Then we heard from Brian after they had come out and changed out the clips. Also heard from Ash again to ensure we were happy with the results. So yes - we are happy with how it all looks now - thank you

Bestway Mechanical was great at the start of the project, and even right up through installation of the solar system they put in. But when asked to replaced some clips because they were different colors (a minor request) AND were told they would address quickly, here I am 5 months later, and still no one has shown up. I have emails and texts telling they will address this simple request, only to have no one show up.

Bestway Mechanical failed base plumbing inspections 3 times in a row. They did not notice when the septic line was at the wrong angle. When I pointed out a drain line that look like a 'Z and they said it is legal. I did not want legal - I wanted point to point. Then they charged me over $8K when I let them go.

NEVER RELY ON THIS COMPANY TO PROVIDE RELIABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE OR TO CONTACT YOU WITH ANY ACCURATE UPDATE. HORRIBLE Experience - only time they contacted me first was to set sales appointment, all other contact was initiated by me. Told me installation would be week before Thanksgiving. I called a week after Thanksgiving because no one came to install and no contact that they wouldn't make it. I asked to be kept updated during that conversation. I heard nothing and called week before Christmas to say postpone until new year. Received call back from manager (Brian) that installation could occur yet that week but didn't get expected arrival time for scheduled day. I asked at 9am when to expect crew since hadn't heard anything. Response was soon, crew just down street to do something quick at another site then be there soon. At 11, I checked since crew still hadn't arrived. Manager was surprised crew still hadn't arrived. Manager told me at 11:20 crew was driving on their way to be there in 2-5 minutes. At 11:50 crew still hadn't arrived and I called manager again telling him someone had lied about status and that I cancelled the contract to install. The crew finally arrived at 12:01. I was extremely frustrated in the lack of truth and support provided to this point, but the story isn't done yet. Manager stated they would mail refund check to me. I said I didn't want to wait that long to receive it. The check needed 2 signatures and wouldn't be available until late Thursday. Manager said he would let me know when we could meet to get the check. Manager never made contact or responded to a request regarding availability of check on Friday. Manager finally responded to call on Saturday morning by texting at 9am instead that check was available but he was at job site and would return to office soon. At around 12am I arrived at the office and no one was there yet. Finally the manager arrived about 15-20 minutes later and I received the check.

This review is not about a physical service Bestway has provided, this is about the 2-3 phone calls I receive per DAY for weeks now. I requested a solar quote through a third party website and stated that I would allow one vendor to contact me about it. Wow, my mistake.

Cali leaves me literally the same message multiple times per day. She calls from her cell and their office. In one of the messages she said that someone would come by my home to see if they could talk with me. This was after having to block their numbers... at that point she had tried contacting me for two weeks in a row.

I am a business owner and I KNOW that the fortune is in the follow up. Communication is key. But at what point do you not understand that harrassing a person by blowing up their phone multiple times a day (yes, weekends too) for weeks on end is NOT a way to gain business? They clearly do not take in to consideration what may be going on in a person's life (death, illness, new move?) and just keep calling and calling with no regard for how they are coming across, which at this point is very inconsiderate and disrespectful of my time.

For my future solar project(s), unfortunately, they have lost my potential business.

We had some vandalism that destroyed several solar tubes that Bestway had installed. They were easy to work with to schedule the repair, came out quickly, installed the new tubes, made sure the system was working properly, and cleaned up after themselves. Great job.

If you want to be lied to, financially taken advantage of and then ignored when you want answers then, Bestway Mechanical is the solar installer for you. If you want to work with an honest company that has integrity, then I would go with another solar company.

Super helpful. Didnt mind that I had a million questions, answered everyone and even answered a few I didnt even know I had. Bestway did my solar project over the last few weeks. They installed it within four weeks of our purchase. We recommend them and give out their magnets to our neighborhood friends. We expect to send referrals and get a bonus for it. Thank you guys!

Our system was installed for $20k, and has never worked. When we asked Bestway to make it work, they told us it was simply that we didn't understand what cold was or what it was like living in the mountains. Been here 16 years btw. Had to hire another company to fix the boiler they barely installed and still trying to figure out how to make the solar function at all so many years later. I highly recommend not going with this company.

The team from BestWay Mechanical did a superb job. The installation went as promised and has functioned as advertised. Every month we end up making money with the system and have yet to pay for our power. I very highly recommend that you call BestWay Mechanical and get all the information about solarizing (is that a word?).your home.

Oh how I wished I would have read/taken these reviews into account before getting solar installation done by Bestway Mechanical! Please take heed of this info and our (and it sounds like multiple other people's) experience if you are thinking about using Bestway Mechanical.

We got SunPower panels installed, and SunPower pointed us towards Bestway Mechanical. SunPower needs to reconsider who they have do installs in the area as the entire process from start to finish was an absolute nightmare!

We started the process early in the year 2020, so there were some delays from that. However, it took us until September (with the process starting in February) to get our solar panels installed. Like some of the other reviews said, Bestway Mechanical did the initial quote, then it was like pulling teeth to get a hold of them after that (unless they were trying to get paid, in which case they were very eager to respond).

Our experience was terrible from the start. The quote and order for work meetings went well, and we were quoted a 3-4 week estimate of when our solar would be up and running - and made the huge mistake of paying them a 25% down payment. Then COVID lockdowns happened, and we heard absolute silence from Bestway Mechanical. For months. We seriously thought the company was a straight up scam for parts of the 7 months it took to get a small solar install done. I finally started emailing and calling every Bestway Mechanical contact we had been given. Loooooooooong story short, after pressuring Bestway Mechanical to do the work by directly calling and getting SunPower involved in the conflict (SunPower was extremely embarrassed and apologetic and said that the things we'd put up with Bestway Mechanical should have never ever happened), Bestway Mechanical finally subcontracted everything out and got it finished. Except that it was done with mistakes. For example, they (or their subcontractor) swapped around our breakers in the breaker box - then forgot to label any of the breakers. After they failed inspection, the electrician literally opened the door to our home and walked in without asking - in the middle of COVID lockdowns - to see if we had any mailing envelope labels that he could scribble lables on in our breaker box.

Bestway Mechanical also said that we would receive our rebate check from Colorado Springs Utilities within two months of completion. We're well past that, so I am left back at square one reaching out and hoping they respond to me. Oh, and they took so so long doing the install that during that time period (Feb - Sept 2020) Colorado Springs Utilities changed the amount that it rebates, so I lost money there as well.

All of the above long review (it was worth writing - it was truly the worst and longest customer experience disaster I'd ever experienced) hopefully gives some context and awareness for anyone thinking about getting solar through Bestway Mechanical.

We purchased solar panels as well as a new furnace and now need service on our thermostat. I have called 15 times to no avail. I even talked with Brian the manager as well as office staff being assured they would get back to me for our problem. Still waiting, now over 2 months. We are sorely disappointed.

Had a great experience initially with a nice lady (Bella I believe is her name) who setup an appointment for a solar evaluation in my home. After that I got no response after they FAILED to show up for the appointment. Unprofessional.

We have a Munchkin high efficiency boiler. When our house was being built, the idiot who did the tile work used a tile saw inside while the heat was on. The result was tile dust sucked into the heating system, which fused onto parts in the boiler. The guys from Bestway fixed it, and the boiler has worked perfectly ever since. I recommend this company highly.
