I had no hot water on a Sunday morning and called Affordable Plumbing. Expecting a few days without hot water, I was greatly surprised to hear they carry hot water heaters in their truck! Five hours later, I had hot water! Wow! Jeff was so nice and efficient.

Anthony came out to clean and check over my two furnaces this winter. He provided me with a ton of information and lots of options for getting my house up to date in an efficient manner and improve the air quality at my house. He was patient and informative and understanding of cost concerns. I look forward to working with him to improve my home and my air quality!

First we used them to install a water softener system in our home. They were fast, thorough and did a great job.

Now we are selling our home and using them to fix one of our inspection finds. They have been so amazing with everything and we will definitely use them again.

So, I have a lot to share, hang with me.In April 2023, our tenants notified us of a water heater leak. Smith said they could be there in 2-days which was a Friday, so we scheduled it.Normally, I am there for any repairs or work that needs to be done at the property, but I figured its just a repair/inspection job so waited for them to call me with what the issue was. I had a feeling it would need to be replaced.I got the call shortly after they arrived that it needed to be replaced, it was super old and the leak was not fixable. There were several quotes provided, from $12,000-$2500 and they were all essentially the same unit, just different extras like extended warranty, annual inspection visits, and other bells and whistles. We opted for the 2nd to the last option which was around $3600 after asking for a discount ;) (military and first responders DO get a discount without the begging!)We scheduled the install for the Monday of the following week. Again, I am normally THERE for repairs but for whatever reason, I didnt come to the water heater replacement. I wish I had :(They finished up the same day but required one additional day for inspection. Everything was done by Tuesday and it seemed fine.By Wednesday afternoon (2-days POST install) I received a phone call from the tenants that there was massive flooding and severe damage to the garage and ceiling. I immediately left and called Smith on my way over to request they meet me at the rental property. It was too coincidental for there to be water damage in the same area where the water heater had just been installed.Oh my gosh, I lost it. The tears started flowing as soon as I saw the damage. The entire ceiling was collapsing from water damage and the interior bedroom was also caving from water saturation in the attic.I knew IMMEDIATELY what they had done wrong.Years ago there used to be a swamp cooler on the property but we had it disconnected and removed it. However, there was a copper pipe that ran from the old water heater to the swamp cooler, once upon a time. It had been disconnected and just kind of hanging out in the back of the garage, near the water heater for years.For some reason, the person who inspected it the week before to see if it could be repaired, had documented that this pipe needed to be reconnected (this was never discussed with me over the phone). And the install team that put the new water heater in on Monday didnt question the instructions provided and connected it, having no idea where it led.Little did they know the pipe led to nowhere, it just was hanging out in the attic, spraying water all over the attic-space and essentially flooding it for 3-days.Once Smith understood what they had done wrong, they called their supervisor because it was obviously much bigger than a couple of repairmen could handle.Then Freddie arrived, he is the supervisor and was really great. My husband was very upset at their mistake and I was in tears that there was SO much damage but Freddie was very reassuring and calmed everyone down and explained that they would fix it.And that is exactly what they did. E-V-E-R-Y single point of water damage was repaired. The carpet padding was replaced, the insulation was removed and replaced, drywall installed, and new paint.I have to give so much thanks to Freddie, he was always quick to respond anytime I had questions or requested an update (it took about 2.5 weeks to get everything back to before the water damage) and he was so kind.I gave 5-stars because of how Freddie handled this situation. I cant say for sure if I will call Smith for future work but I do have to say Freddie has left me feeling like a valuable customer. I hope Smith understands how important it is to have a person like Freddie on the team. He de-escalated a stressful situation and made sure everything was 100% back to normal as fast as he possibly could.THANK YOU FREDDIE!!!!!!!!!

Guy was here for an hour,had to get a transformer....charged me for the time to get it and charged 75 for a 35 dollar part. I dont trust them.

I was referred to Olson by my home inspector. It sucks how expensive HVAC can be but they have gone above and beyond for us. The part needed is delayed so they provided us with modular AC units to make it more bearable in the meantime. We also had a couple other estimates done and Olson's was right in line with others. I'd highly recommend.

Derrick came out and thoroughly looked over my furnace. He told me what was wrong and offered to clean the system and look for gas leaks. He was very professional and took time explaining everything. Highly recommend Caliber and Derrick.

Alphalete came to my home to install a gas line to convert the house from an electric range to a gas range. The work was amazing, and they were able to complete in six hours what other companies said would take two or three days. Alphalete was also the best value pricing I was able to find. Their hourly labor rate is beyond fair, and may even be a little low for their services. They were not the cheapest bid we received for the project, but they were the only company able to complete the job in one day, and they were the only company with immediate availability. Their work was phenomenal, and they took great care of us.

Unfortunately, when the technicians were moving a bed, they broke the bed frame and box spring. However, ACCIDENTS HAPPEN! The measure of a company is not in the mistakes it makes, because all companies make mistakes, the measure of a company is how they handle their mistakes. Not only were Alphalete professional, courteous, and apologetic about the mistake, but they also offered to replace the box spring and bed frame. The owner, Diego, even called my wife and I to schedule a time to come back out, replace what was broken, and make the situation right in person. That amount of professionalism is scarce in today’s society, so to see it from Diego and his team gives me reason to refer them to friends.

They replaced a hot water heater that had started leaking on very short notice. There were a couple of issues with the install, but every time I called they sent someone out right away and didn't stop until the problem was resolved.

Another update: Leaving all my reviews to show the trail, but eventually they did fix my water heater. The guy they sent was very kind and pleasant. I am grateful that it was fixed even though I had a migraine in the process. I would still call them again as the on-call guy did fix it and was a nice person.

I had my water heater fixed 8/30/21, and it already stopped working. Trying to call them about this is impossible. They do not answer the phone if they know someone with a problem needs them. They also sent me a bill that should have gone to my landlord when he disputed their charges to his credit card, and they included his credit card information. Seriously, they gave me access to my landlords credit card. They did not even look at the name on the credit card that had reversed the charges. Now I have to have them back for repair work, and I am very nervous about having them in my apartment again. The last guy was very rude to me and acted like I was inconveniencing him instead of paying him to do a job. So unprofessional!!!
