Matt was our plumber-he was OUTSTANDING. We had a previous plumber who charged us $450 and did not fix a single problem. We had Matt come out and he fixed all 4 problems. Great attitude, will definitely have him as our plumber in the future.

Great work! Rick and his partner installed a gas line for a stove range in our kitchen. They were professional, approachable and insured all our gas appliances were running thoroughly before leaving. Fantastic! Deigo really knows his stuff. He was professional, friendly, efficient, and asks questions to make sure you get what you expect. He re-did a job that a handyman company referred by Home Depot messed up so badly. When he was finished, it looked exactly how I had wanted it to. The price was very fair and he cleaned up after the job was finished. We have a plumber for life now! I'll never call anyone else!

Used to use this company but after the last visit, I'm switching to anyone other than HPE. Contractor came, partially fixed the problem, and then charged me 3.5 hours for what I recall was maybe 2 hours at the house. 45 minutes of that time owed to the contractor having to go to the store to buy parts. After partially fixing the issue, charged $540 dollars. Then, have an estimate of $500 more dollars to fix the rest, owing to a bad wire that must have become disconnected in the crawlspace. $500 for a wire?? Called for a second opinion from another vendor, they inspected, tested wires and found wires intact, with thermostats being the problem. They had to undo everything HPE did to fix the problem, which did NOT include $500 for a wire. How can you provide an estimate and cost of a problem you didn't even personally check in the first place? Proved to me HPE is ripping folks off for time and labor, for parts, and for notorious 2nd or 3rdvisits required to fix what other companies fix the first time. I do not recommend and if I could give zero stars, I would.

Then I was fortunate to meet Scott, a co-owner who came out to see what I needed and to give me a quote--you could hear and see the pride and passion he has for his company. Then the installers Jeremy, Anthony, Mike, and Brian came out to install a new furnace and AC unit—very professional and friendly—their hard work passed the inspection with flying colors. And Samantha at the office made certain that I was taken care of and happy with the process from beginning to end. I tell all my friends and neighbors about Comfort by Design—word of mouth is invaluable—I highly recommend them!!

Jason and his helper Worked quick and did great work. We had a switch and some lights installed. It came out great professional . Insisted on cleaning up after themselves. The price was a bit higher but they worked with me and gave me suggestions and I'm happy I paid a good company . Thanks.
