Best New Installation in Cleveland OH

Edited 7/26/19: I'm still very happy with Smylie's plumbing work (review below). However, in the last few months I've had a few different pieces of HVAC work to do and I am much, much less impressed with that department. I've had a tech argue with me about the maintenance work I wanted done (summer may not be when most people have their furnaces serviced but I still needed it done at that property!), work has been done and I've been charged without my OK, they've charged incorrect cards for work throwing accounts into overdraft, I've spent my time having them out to quote for large pieces of work and never actually received the quote. This after giving Smylie One well over $10k of work last year. I know that I'll have at least one furnace replacement on my properties this year and will be having other companies give me competing quotes. Sigh.

I'm a landlord overseeing about 25 homes split between Bedford and the West side of Cleveland. I'm going to keep using Smylie for all my plumbing and HVAC on all my units and on my personal home. Their prices are fair, their availability is great, they're extremely helpful. They've worked with my home warranty company, which not all contractors want to do. They'll also be honest about whether something is a big or small repair, no trying to upsell you, and are open to coming back to take another look if you're not happy with the work. I'm really glad I've found such a dependable company.

Our kitchen sink had a clogdrain issue. Got it fixed in no time and amazing customer service! Highly recommended!!!

The answered my call for help and were working on my problem within an hour! Took care of clogged drain and flooded bathroom. Left no mess. Made sure I understood every step of process.

We had an emergency with our sewers backing up in the basement. Andy was fast to fit us in and was quick to get the job done right. Not to mention his reasonable prices on service. I recommend Plumb Nation to all my friends and family!

I was supposed to get an estimate done. 30 minutes after their 3 hour window had passed I got an email saying service was completed. I then called asking what was going on and only then was notified that the person was running late. Mike sounded flustered and asked well do you want to reschedule or have us take you off the books? My response just take me off the books please I didnt even get to finish my sentence before he hung up on me.

This could have been handled much better. The complete lack of professionalism, manners, and communication was abhorrent.

Had them come in for a leak. We were charged over 200.00 and 3 months later we had the same leak reoccurrence so we called and talked to someone and they said they would have the technician call us back, no one called back so we had to call someone else and the water line was put in incorrect. We also had to turn off the main line because the shut off valve he put in didn’t work! Will never recommend or use them ever again!

Always a great place to check for random plumbing items. Everytime I need a special fitting they are helpful and friendly.

Very nice, professional staff and business. Great job instilling hot water heater tank. Will definitely use their services again. The installer did the job quickly, efficiently and beautifully.

We had the unfortunate experience of needing a new septic system. After several estimates and learning more than I wanted to know about household waste management systems. We opted to go with A&P Septic for the replacement system.

The process can be overwhelming as this is something most homeowners hope to never experience. Many phone calls to state and local government agencies go into the replacement process.

We had a water service line leak on our property and had received notice from the city to get it repaired within 10 days. Paul, the owner, was incredibly helpful even before we hired VIP Plumbing, and he asked several questions to help him gauge the work to be done and anticipate the city's needs re: permits and inspection, even before the crew came out to perform an estimate. The crew was professional and friendly, and they did a great job with the installation of a new line - keeping as much of the sidewalk and driveway intact as possible to avoid extra costs on our end. They worked a very long day and brought in extra team members so that we didn't have to go overnight without water. We highly recommend VIP Plumbing!
