We've hired Mayer for a variety of services, and they've been wonderful. They're knowledgeable, honest, and do excellent work! I've had sewer line repair, gas line repair, reverse flow preventer valve installation, tankless water heater service, HVAC service, fixture installations, and I'm sure some other things I'm forgetting. They do it all, professionally, honestly, and stand by their work. Their pricing is reasonable, and they always have some advice on how to save a few bucks. If you're in Parma, get that valve put in and use these guys!

I rarely call a plumber. But they said they would be here at a certain time and they were. Told me the price first. Then they fixed it. Problem solved.

For starters the guy that came to check my hot water tank set in the truck for about 20mins before getting out!! #2 I had to reach out to them to keep asking what’s going on with the service!! Someone suppose to called me back about 3 weeks for me to pay them for the hot water tank I haven’t received a call a text or email I think it’s so unprofessional of them I still don’t have hot water it’s now march this been going on since January yes January ahs reached out to them and no response maybe other people had good experience with them I didn’t I would not recommend them to my family or friends!! I had to get another company..The unprofessional part and the non communication is really something they need to work on..

Be careful of bait and switch tactics! Jason came out in April to give us an estimate on a two-stage project. Conversations with the main office and first stage went smooth. When they came back for the second stage, all of the sudden the project turned into this is big money. It took multiple calls to the office to resolve the situation. Very unprofessional.

Guys where very professional and knowledgeable.

Had our clay pipes replaced from the house to the sidewalk approximately 6-7 years ago. In Spring 2020, our mainline backed up again. I called them to repair and the technician told us we were out of warranty (work done over five years ago) and it was going to cost us the full price to repair. I was unhappy with this, so I got in touch with Jason, who offered to work with us on the pricing since the repair failed. While working things out with Jason, I found my original paperwork, which demonstrated the work had a 10 year warranty. After being provided with this information, Jason honored the warranty and completed the repairs for free. We added some additional work to be done at the time and the price was competitive. They showed up on the date scheduled and on time.

Very nice, professional staff and business. Great job instilling hot water heater tank. Will definitely use their services again. The installer did the job quickly, efficiently and beautifully.

We just used Mayer plumbing for an extensive outside drain and water proofing job for us after receiving several quotes they were the most reasonable. The owner himself gave us the quote and was very professional and upfront. The entire process of the job went very smooth. Would highly recommend.

I love Mayer plumbing! I can’t recommended them highly enough. I’ve had so many sewer/ heating and cooling issues since I bought my house and Mayer plumbing has taken care of everything. They’re hard workers and it shows. They are very friendly and professional. Very efficient. A sewer repair that was schedule for three days they finished in one. I had missed an appointment for my AC and they offered to come out the next day. Amazing customer service as well. Again, I recommend Mayer plumbing for anything you might need.

We have used Mayer Plumbing multiple times at both of our homes (for installations and repairs). Most recently we had them come out and move the water hookup for our washer and dryer to be able to use the first floor laundry room. Adam has helped us with every project and is always very friendly and professional. Fair prices and good service keep us coming back. Highly recommend.

I called Mayer Plumbing after asking my local neighborhood website for plumbing recommendations. Since then, I have used them several times for clogged drains, toilets and HVAC maintenance. Each time I was scheduled very promptly, the serviceman have been very nice and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing services.

Called Mayer said they would have a tech out within the hour they came before an hour and completed job! Very reasonable priced technician was kind and explained all work! Very pleased!

Made an appt last week for their HVAC tech to look at my mom's thermostat. Appt was for today 8-9am. I took a half day off work, drove 45 minutes to be at her house at 8 AM, only for the tech to not show up. I called at 9 & was told he was running late. I called again at 10 & was told that I was his next stop. at 10:30, they called to tell me he had a flat tire & hadn't been in yet today.

I wasted a half day of PTO and a 90 minute round trip on them. I'm extremely disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone. It's one thing to have an issue come up, but it's how you handle it. They could have called to let me know, or even been honest in my first two calls in.

Fast service reliable and reasonably priced

They arrived at our home as soon as they could, did estimations through the home, then started the work, the estimations were reasonable, but can be pricey, the work was done efficient and fast and solved our problem

Recently had Mayer plumbing install a new outside water spigot. Jason was my installer. He was very professional. He was on time, courteous, and quick on the install. I would definitely recommend Mayer plumbing.

Adam was very professional and explained everything and prices before he did the work. He unplugged are clog and even cleaned out are trap and explained how to keep it clean. We will definitely use their sevice in the future. Thank you so much

Mayer plumbing did some work at the house, I asked the tech the cost of installing a faucet and garbage disposal, he quoted me $149. for each. Another tech came out for the installation....quoted me $199 each. I explained that the previous tech quoted me $149 and it was on the invoice. He called the office and verified it. Then he comes back with to install the sink mounting flange for the disposal it would be another $50. It's only $149 if it's changed disposal for disposal. Now that's ridiculous, disposals are rarely changed with exactly the same model. Beyond that the assembly to install was included with the disposal. So, I agreed as this was being done for an elderly family member and I was not present. However, I called Mayer to speak with someone regarding this apparent bait and switch and my call was not returned...With so many elderly people in Parma be careful what you agree to.

Have used them twice now and both times were outstanding. They are a pleasure to do business with and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Tech came in .when asked why he was not wearing a mask, he told me that this virus was just the flu, and the numbers were made up and that washing hands lowered your resistance ( his hand were filthy). I am at high risk for dying if I get the “rona”. He did not believe in customer service and I have to believe his company does either. This company should be following state rules, not ignoring them. I got a quote for work but he will not be coming back in my home ever. He also said the mask I was wearing was only good for dust. I told him it wasn’t for me, it was for him, so I didn’t spittle on him when I talk. Idiot

We went into their office yesterday, someone came out today. They were very courteous and respectful. Price was reasonable so we had them install it right then. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing issue. We had two other plumbing places who never called back, but Meyer Plumbing is very reliable.

We had them install a water line and hot water tank. It worked for a less than a week and would not heat up. The tank is lucky to get skin temperature water and they have no solution and do not call back or respond to email or calls. First we had a leak in the tank and they said it was just a pressure valve. Problem so we had it replaced . That ended up costing close to $400 to repair. Then the tank ruptured and flooded the whole room. It took a week to come out and replace the broken one and that one went bad after 3 days. It’s been over 3 weeks with no hot water or solution. They just send tech out and they shake their head and say see how it goes. Wait it may get warm Later an hour or a couple days. It’s not going to fix its own problem. We need a solution not excuses

Called twice to get an estimate for a plumb in for a dishwasher. Mayer never called back.

This past Saturday my husband and I had a sewage back up in our basement. There wasn't much water, but we wanted to address the problem immediately. We called Mayer Plumbing. After giving us a two hour window to arrive, they came 40 minutes past the timeframe. When they arrived they briefly assessed the problem externally and quoted us $475 to fix the back up and an additional $89 for an emergency call. My family suggested I challenge the price since it was high, but my husband I decided to let it be. When they completed the work they told us it was fixed for now, but that we would have a back up again in three to four months. They said the major backup was past the property line and we should call the city to resolve the problem. Either way, I thought this seemed off since we have been in our home for two years and haven't had a single backup.

The following Monday we called the city to have them assess the problem. In my city, the homeowner is responsible for everything up until the main. They suggested I call Mayer Plumbing back and request they come out and complete the job. Not to mention, the city also felt we were overcharged originally. When I called back, I was told a portion of the pipe needed to be replaced and that it would cost $1,000s. I called the city back and they questioned this response and decided to investigate the pipes with a camera the following day. The city found that Mayer had only carved out about 25% of the roots blocking the sewage line (pictures below). They said they could easily get most of the blockage out if they came back and that I didn't necessarily need to replace the pipe right now. Fortunately, our city service workers were kind enough to call Mayer themselves and suggest they finish the job. Mayer came out and cleared out the pipe (at no additional cost). We had a family member come out and ensure the job was done right.

As a young, female homeowner, I feel taken advantage of. If the job was done right the first time, I could have saved myself the headache of calling the city and Mayer multiple times to try to have this resolved. I also felt the job was done half-heartedly in hopes we would have another backup so they could have more work down the line. I do not plan on using them in the future.

STOP! Do not call unless you are willing to pay $1000 (Labor Only) to get a garbage disposal installed! Or maybe they will just not find time to call you back after giving you such and outrageous quote to justify. Mind boggling.

Mitch was her on Friday unclogged bathroom sink, today 2 other guts came in a fixed broken pipe in basement shower an installed fixture. They were all great, cleaned everything when done. Polite, professional. An they worked with my home warranty which is great hard to find a company that will work with home warranty.

We have found Mayer Plumbing to always be moderately priced compared to other companies. The owner is great to work with. I highly recommend them and have had many of my friends use them with the exact same feedback.

I had many companies over for estimates. I used to be in the business years ago when I was younger so I knew what to look for. This one had Kevin doing the job. He was polite, professional and especially honest. He and Jason came in and did a remarkable job in a time that I thought could not be done. During this time I had Covid-19 concerns and they rescheduled without any problem. I want to thank the office personnel for calling me on a Sunday to confirm. They ware remarkable. I think this is the best company in the business . Hats off to Kevin for being so forthcoming.

Working with Mayer was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Kevin and Gino installed a sump system in my home. They did a fantastic job and set me up with the best system possible system for my house. They were thorough, clean, quick, and professional.
