Best Installation Drain in Cleveland OH

I am a repeat customer and know I will always receive reliable, fast and expert service from HJacks. Have used them for both plumbing and heating needs. Highly recommended!

We are in the process of buying a house. The Air conditioner was noted to be faulty on general inspection. There was rust over the furnace, concerning about an ongoing or past leakage. Also the AC was running intermittently. The recommendation was to consult a qualified contractor. We made a big mistake by hiring Smylie One to inspect the HVAC system. Their technician who inspected the house said the control board was faulty (cost to replace - $671). Also, he mentioned that the H/E collector box was cracked (cost to replace- $1228). Thus overall cost to correct these problems would be $1900.
Based on their evaluation, we asked seller to pay for repairs.
The seller had the HVAC inspected by his own contractor, who said both the control board and H/E collector box were fine and did not need to be replaced.
Meanwhile, the seller still offered us $2000 to use for repairs if any needed which we accepted and signed the contract.
The next day though, a supervisor from Smylie One went to inspect the HVAC again, and he completely disagreed with his own techinician's evaluation. He now said that the AC coil and the drain pan are rusted and actively leaking and he would recommend the AC to be replaced based on the age and condition of the AC.
Based on the initial evaluation from their technician, we decided to take the $2000 for AC repairs. If we had known about the condition of the AC which came out in the second report (which completely contradicted with their own technician's initial report), we would have asked the seller to replace the AC.
Instead, now we have a complete contract and I need to bear the expenses to replace the AC before I move into the house, just because of the incompetence of Smylie One's technicians.
Knowing my distress and dissatisfaction from their work, Steve Smylie, the owner of the company called me, tried to make it sound like it wasn't their mistake and he tried to make a deal with me by providing me, what he made it sound like, a very good deal. He would install a basic Bryant AC for $4000, which he said was $2000 below their usual price.
Meanwhile, I contacted another HVAC agency who quoted me a straight price of $4000 for a new more expensive American Standard AC (without any sort of special deals)
All in all, I am extremely dissatisfied with Smylie One's service. I think their technician was extremely incompetent and failed to detect and report a simple leak from the AC coils (Even me, not an HVAC expert, could see the rust outside the HVAC unit and suspected a leak, but was then misled by the findings of their technician Mikhail Aronov)
Secondly, they charge extravagant amounts for their services, evident by the fact that they would charge $2000 more than other contractors for installing an AC with lower retail price.

Five Star Plumbing and Heating has provided us with fantastic service since we have moved to the area. Same day service, EVEN ON A SATURDAY!
They always take the time to explain exactly what is going on and provide all options that are available to you. More than fair pricing and a company that knows how to make a customer feel valued. Cannot ask anymore of them. It has been great to find a company that provides dependable and honest work.

Most recently, we needed to have a new water heater installed. We knew just who to call. Kamran and his team did a fantastic job on the install and displayed a high level of service and professionalism. He even installed a second shut off valve to ensure my vertically challenged girlfriend would have access!
Can't say enough about Five Stars!!!

They responded quickly (another company didn’t even return my call). James was professional and efficient, was able to clean the seal on my garbage disposal and retighten it. He also added a bracket for the dishwasher hose that I didn’t even know was mounted incorrectly!

The commercial states $79 for camera inspection for sewer line. Then when you call you are told there would be a $89 service call in addition they say in the commercial don't get rootered. They are the ones advertising fraudulent sales tactics. Do not trust a company that lies to you before even meeting you. Very shady!!!!

I can not believe this commercial is still on I just saw it again. I wish I had the money to take them to court for taking advantage of people that are going thru a very painful time. Basement flooding not only is very expensive to deal with but it is the history of family photos that is the most heartbreaking. They are gone forever 😢

To the Owner: I beg to differ! This is the response I received from you on November 24, which IS a contract, one which you have chosen to breach:

... I will offer you $225 refund and that would be contingent on you signing a document...final offer.....my attorney refuses to allow us to be extorted especially when we have picutures (sic) sign authorization documents etx to back up our work n charge agreed upon AHEAD OF TIME
I am only doing this as one time courtesy to you in sake of local customer service as I live there as well ..

An update on a previous post:
It is always a pleasure to do business with companies that have integrity. Unfortunately Strongsville Plumbing is not one of those companies. After having reached an agreement in December, Strongsville Plumbing has opted to breach their contract. If you are looking for a company that honors their word, go elsewhere.

This guy helped us efficiently and knowledgeably - took care of business while communicating along the way. Our home’s sewer line backed up and was coming into our home through basement shower stall and stationary tub - gross! Unclogged pipe, showed us issue with snake camera, removed tree roots, and suggested product for future maintenance. Couldn’t be happier with his smart and friendly service! Thanks, Dan!

Pipe burst and they came right out, identified the problem, fixed it quickly and cleaned up. I have called them multiple times for various services and always great

Andy responded right away to my request. He came out the next day and assessed the situation . He kept me informed and updated through the whole process of clearing the main sewer line at my 90 year old mothers home. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and it's gratifying to know that are still some contractors out there that just aren't looking to take advantage of our seniors. I now have a plumber to call whenever I need one. !!!
