Mays and Sons Plumbing was an advocate on my behalf. My water heater busted and I had no water for over a week trying to get another plumber to replace it. Mays staff worked hard to insure that I get the replacement, eventhough Cinch was not budging, and got it done within 24 hours!!! TY...TY...TY

Mayes & Sons Plumbing is a God send! I had a very difficult emergency repair that needed to be done in a 1926 house in Shaker Heights, OH.

After having two different plumbing companies come to my house and actually turn the job down because of its difficulty, Mayes came out on August 28th 2023 and assessed the job and situation. With full knowledge and confidence of what they had to do to fix what the other plumbers could NOT do, they said We can do this job no problem...This is what we do!!! How refreshing....

They gave me an estimate the very next day on August 29th (at a very fair price I might add) and let me know that they could be there the next morning of August 30th at 9:00am to make the repair. WHAT??????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? a contractor that can come out the very next day?????? They sent out two plumbers who worked their tails off from 9:00am to 3:00pm to get the repair done without even taking a lunch break. After they finished with the extremely difficult repair they then cleaned up the mess. What professionals! I am so impressed and I wish all contractors were such a pleasure to work with.

Mayes & Sons gets my highest endorsement and I can not say enough good things about my experience with them. Thank you again for taking care of my emergency issue and I will recommend your company to everyone I know!!!

Its nice to know that there are still some awesome old school contractors out there that take pride in their work, show up on time, do what they say they are going to do, clean up after themselves and give you a great price and don't even take a lunch break to get the job done! Collin was great and pleasure to work with. He explained everything thoroughly and was very efficient. Highly recommend him!

We have a recently remodeled kitchen, but the hose to the side sprayer got a tear in it and was leaking. We hired them to replace the hose and provided the replacement hose, exact same model. The technician was not able to figure out how to connect it. He took apart the sink in his attempt, but couldn't solve the problem and ended up disconnecting it completely and capping it off, leaving us with no functioning side sprayer. What's worse, there is now a slow leak under the sink and there wasn't before. Very unsatisfied.

The time from calling, to getting a technician at the house was impressive!! Tim showed up with the water jet truck and cleared out our packed sewer line quickly. He also ripped out the tree roots that were causing our issues!! I will definitely be a repeat customer if I ever need my sewer cleared out again!!

The technicians were quick and very polite. Ryan followed up with my right after!!! Overall a wonderful experience!! Definitely recommend for all plumbing needs!

So these guys came out to do a hydro jet cleaning and their technician accidentally broke the clay pipe in my sewer line, he told my neighbor exactly what he did then hurried up and left. I then got a text msg stating they’ll need to do a follow up after the tech told my neighbor he would contact me, when he got back to the office all of a sudden I get an email from them saying the estimated cost to fix this is $4,300. They were ultimately responsible for fixing this, but got scared and started lying about how it wasn’t their responsibility. They even went as far as to deleting all the emails they sent me in regards to the job so it would look like they never came out. They even stop trying to collect the money on the hydro jet cleaning they did, which was half way done because they knew they were in the wrong. A few of there workers are arrogant with a lack of customer service. The General manager got nervous when he found out his tech admitted to his fault then started lying to me over the phone so they could try and get out of fixing what he broke. But What goes around comes around and I believe this co. will start to fall apart due to their actions.

We've had Mayes & Sons service through HomeServe for years. We have also called them for needs not covered through HomeServe. They're always on time, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We've never had a problem. They always do good work. We would recommend them to anyone.
