I contact Five Star Plumbing this afternoon as a new customer and the plumber was in my driveway an hour later. I am extremely pleased with this company. He was so nice and friendly and was comfortable to be around. I like how he shows me as things move along and explains everything. Bonus....he found shut off valves for my garage that many people have tried to find unsuccessfully. That will make me happy next winter. He installed an evaporator tank and fixed a leaky faucet. Price was the best part! The reviews are strong for Five Star and now I understand why. 5 stars from me along with many referrals.

I live in Idaho but own a home in Parma, Ohio that I just sold. When Columbia Gas Company came out to turn on the gas they discovered a gas leak. You can imagine my panic! I was thinking all the worse case scenarios and a gigantic repair bill. I called Dan at 1st Choice. He was friendly and agreed to go check it out. He also assured me he would let me know what had to be done before he did any repairs so I could give my approval. He went out at the scheduled time, assessed the problem and called me while he was there. The problem wasn't anything big like I imagined! We agreed on what he could do within my budget and he fixed the problem immediately, inexpensively and correctly. The following return trip from the gas company found no leak and all valves updated and replaced according to code. Woohoo!
Dan could have very easily taken advantage of the fact I am not local and was not physically at the house, but he didn't. Other plumbers might have. He eased my mind and worry. I would recommend him 100%!! If I lived in Cuyahoga County I wouldn't go to any other plumber. I'm totally happy and totally impressed that there are still honest service guys around! He's the best in my opinion!!!

Stack pipe replaced from floor of 2nd story down; this main pipe now goes down through the basement floor and out through the foundation wall (instead of through our basement steps!); all the old tile piping the length of our backyard either dug up and replaced, or lined (lined section to limit disturbance for our 100+ year old Black Walnut tree!); interior work also included rerouting our sump pump, moving the washing machine & sloppy sink, new water line to 1st story toilet, and streamlining all 1st story & basement plumbing lines!!!
They made sure we had access to basic water and plumbing necessities each evening/morning in the midst of the job - and did a great job cleaning up inside and outside in-spite of all the rain & mud!!

When we bought our home, we had no idea our back yard flooded the way it did. Korey and his crew came out and gave us our backyard. I have several rental building I can depend on Northeast Plum & Mech to always do a great job! When we had a pipe freeze in 13 they worked with my insurance to repair all the plumbing and heating. There was a lot of damage but a few days latter they got the heat back on and all the leaks fixed. My old plumber abandoned me when they saw the damage but NE Plum & Mech came through and got my tenants back into there apartments!!!

The company was responsive and provided insight to significantly reduce the cost of the project. We are new to the area and definitely will use them for plumbing and heating work moving forward.

called their emergency number during the holidays, after hours. their phone service seems pretty professional as it gets you to an operator that helps get the information for the service. the operator contacted the on call service tech and he called within 30 min. Came right out to our house and helped us with our sewer stoppage issue. Dave was super nice very professional. Since it was during the holidays after hours, we felt pretty bad but he was really nice and made the whole process really easy.
