I called another local plumbing company who I have used before and they were backed up 2 weeks just to come out. Since my kitchen sink faucet went haywire and was unusable, I wanted to try and get it fixed as quickly as possible. After leaving messages for several other plumbing companies, some of which called back (or the next day) later, I decided to call The Plumbing Source. They picked up the phone, I explained the problem and asked if they were backed up a week or two and they said they could send out the next day, which I wasn't expecting. The office called the enxt day and said the plumbing tech (Maciej) was on his way, right on schedule. When Maciej arrived, he introduced himself, put booties on and asked about the issue. I showed him the new kitchen faucet I bought and he evaluated the current, broken faucet which he quickly evaluated and fixed in less than 1 minute. He said he would be happy to put in a new faucet, but felt the current faucet would last and left it up to me to decide. He explained how warranties worked with Kohler, Moen, etc., and all of my options. I then explained another issue I was having with a bathroom faucet which became harder to operate. He quickly determined it was a cartridge issue and could easily be replaced to restore optimal functionality. He also noticed the old-style shutoff valves had a small leak when operated and ideally, those should be replaced. When I approved this task, he noticed the supply lines weren't up to normal operating and also replaced those. Maciej's communication skills are unsurpassed by orders of magnitude vs. every other plumber I have ever interacted with. I had also purchased a new showerhead (a cheap, plastic version) and Maciej explained the pros/cons and how to extend the useful life of it due to plastic parts as well as saved the previous one along with a cleaning technique to get it to perform better. Maciej has an encyclopedic knowledge about all things plumbing and can communicate it in a way that consumers can easily understand. No high-pressure sales tactics, no upselling, but simply the pros/cons of each element and leaving it to me to decide. Before any work was started, he even recapped the list of work to ensure we were on the same page as we also talked about other potential future work with toilets. Maciej is a gem of a person as well as a top-notch plumber. I could not have asked (nor expected) a better experience. Beyond professional, so happy. The quick turnaround was an added bonus.

Mario and Kyle were a great team. Mario explained to me exactly what he was going to do, what he might find and what action he would take in the event of further work needed. One thing I noticed was that before anything happened, Mario was sure Kyle understood what he was going to do and what to expect in regard to the project. Dennis and Liam did a beautiful job replacing old (original?) tub faucets / diverter, shower riser, overflow / drain, showerhead, plus adding shutoff ball valves in the basement for tub / sink to keep the rest of the house running. Did it all in a (full) day. These guys are not the cheapest, but they do the best work. Only one nit to pick: could've done a better check for fingerprints on door etc. -- had to wipe down a couple spots after they left. But a great, neat, professional job, working around some bizarre old plumbing nightmares!

Maciej and another service technician, who I did not get his name changed my 20 year old water heater. I had a question regarding an extra 4 year extended warrenty on the Rheem Gas Water Heater for just parts that would be covered by Rheem by adding an extra anode rod in the hot water tank. Maciej called, and said that the Plumbing Source has a 10 year warrenty covering parts and Labor. The Rheem Water tanks and valve was installed very professionally, and they were done in a matters of hours. I can't thank enough for Maciej telling me about Plumbing Source 10 year warrenty on my Rheem Water Tank which I purchased. Now that I have peace of mind that if the water tanks stop working it will be repair or replace by the Plumbing Source.

They charged me 360$ for half an hour of installing a faucet . if they gave you estemat and don’t agree they will charge 55$. i would recommand them if you don't care about cost that much

Disappointed all the way around! I do not recommend this service, or lack of I should say! All they want is money and a lot of it! I called and made an appointment which I was told there was a $55 fee that would be waved if service was given after the quote for the work. The plumber showed up and told my husband that it would be $325 just to move the toilet, and depending on if it was the mounting flange or not it could cost us $600 and up! $600 to replace a mounting flange?! No thank you! They got $55.40 out of us for nothing but a smooth drive here, a walk to our bathroom, and a few wobbly shakes of our toilet! Thanks for absolutely nothing at all!

Maciej did an awesome job replacing a crumbling sanitary line in our basement. He explained what he was going to do very carefully. He gave me the best case scenario, then what he would need to do if that didn’t work out, and the worst case scenario after that. Luckily, he was able to perform the work in the best case scenario. He and Casey also replaced a 15 foot piece of crumbling storm water line in the crawlspace of our basement. A big job for sure but they did a great and thorough job.

We've used the plumbing source for several years now and I feel like they are a dependable company. We have an old house with hot water radiators and they have replaced valves, an expansion tank, and an air purger. They've also replaced larger parts of other old pipes that had begun to leak. Their work is solid, I appreciate the time they will take to explain how things work and what needs to be done (and also when certain things DON'T need to be done). I had a faucet that needed to be replaced so I called them out for a quote. They quoted $200 for the faucet (material only) and $600 for the labor. I was in a pinch so I agreed, I took the guy an hour and a half for the install. I felt violated afterwards. On top of that, a few days later, the faucet they installed started leaking from the flex line below. I tightened it myself just because I wanted the job done….I know I agreed to the price, but come on Mark….

Had to have my Well Pressure tank replaced back in late Fall. Al came out and did a great job, quick response, and made the connections even better than original. He left me with a quote to replace my 24 year old Well Pump. Of course my Well Pump failed 4 mos later, beyond the 90-day protected quote, but they still honored the quote and completed the work the very next day after I called for help. While there Mike noticed an issue with my 4 year old Water Heater and made all the arrangements to handle the repairs, replacing the defective gas valve that was still under warranty. From repairing our garbage disposal, hot water tank TO coming to the rescue after our basement flooded with sewer. I’ve been using the Plumbing Source for over 10 years and as you can see they have provided a host of different services over the years between our last home and the older home we just moved into one year ago. Last year a new air conditioner and furnace were installed and the technicians were efficient and professional. Only once in the last 10 years have we had an issue with a repair and it was promptly resolved at no cost to me. Most recently they took care of a problematic drain in a bathroom sink and managed to get our exterior gas lamppost functional after years of being dormant. The value of a strong work ethic coupled with good customer service and value is hard to come by these days. Thank you!!

We originally had these guys out a couple years ago to do our replacement of the outside pipe leading to the street. We had The Plumbing Source out to add a shut off and leave some water line available for our new fridge on 8/3. This was not a new pipe just adding to an existing line already there. While work was satisfactory, the price seemed extremely high for the amount of time and materials.

In total we paid $326.43 for about 20 minutes of work including a shut off and some water line.

Additionally our brand new washer and dryer were delivered two days before, right below the new shut off. Unfortunately the dryer was left with some scratches after the work was completed (tools maybe set on it?). Regardless the wife is not happy as she had not even used yet.

This review is long overdue. Remodeling Source redid our upstairs bathroom last winter. We are extremely happy with the results. We had used The Plumbing Source for several issues in our house, so we were familiar with the quality of their work. We contacted Remodeling Source and Scott came out, took a look, and gave us our quote. Communication through out the whole project was great. Scott kept us up to date on the delivery dates. During the installation they explained everything to us so we knew exactly what was going on, what time they would be back the next day, etc. My husband and i were very happy with the results. My only regret is why I waited so long to redo the bathroom.

The initial call was to unclog the drain located in the laundry room, however, the cable would not clear 75' out. I haven't used The Plumbing Source yet, but I still wanted to give a positive review for anyone out there looking for a straight forward, NON sales experience. Scott Ulm came and took measurements and discussed possibilities. He is NOT a salesperson and didn't behave as one. He didn't try to sweet talk me into something that I didn't want, nor did he waste his (and my) time with an elaborate presentation. To top it off, he covered his shoes when he came in the house. I had a different company come in earlier that same day and I did not receive the same consideration. I am pleased with the detailed estimate and whether I decide to do this remodel now, or in the future it will be with this company.

Save yourself some money and time - there are plenty of plumbing services out there in the area that give free estimate and more reasonable pricing. $55 service call charge for just an estimate.

I thought replacing just one side of the faucet was not going to be too expensive and I was quoted a worst case scenario $400. Unsurprisingly, I was charged a worst case scenario with less than an hour of work. (FYI - national cost range for labor and materials per faucet is in between $193.42 to $232.59).

ETA: I increased my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because I called to let them know that I was disappointed in my experience, and they corrected the problem right away by returning my check and billing me far, far less than the original charge. I appreciate that they were willing to make things right.
Still, I'd make sure I ask about the costs each step of the way while they are in your house.
WTF?! I'm told the cost for them to come to the house would be $55, which would be deducted from the total costs of parts and labor if any parts had to be replaced. Two guys came, cleaned out the sink drains in less than 15 minutes and charged me $199. Will NEVER use them again. Don't believe them when they say the service call is only $55; it's actually well over $100.

Al S. came to our rescue Saturday morning. A previous plumber did not complete the job from Friday. What started out as a small drip turned into a large leak. Al was able to repair the previous plumber's errors and make additional corrections. His pleasant demeanor, professionalism, and knowledge put my mother at ease immediately. I had the Plumbing Source install a pressure regulator on my main and replace a leaking exterior faucet. The phone operator was very pleasant and accommodating, and the installers were professional. They finished the job in a reasonable amount of time, gave me good advice about what to do/not to do, and cleaned up after themselves. A few days after the work was completed, I received a follow-up call to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with the outcome.

My wife and I have used The Plumbing Source three times for a variety of projects. Overall, we have had very good experiences and highly recommend the company.

Each employee has autonomy to work with the customer to customize solutions that are right for them. I scheduled the same gentleman from The Plumbing Source each time and for each project we were given several options with recommendations that included tradeoffs of cost, function and warranty. The explanations were easy to understand and the quality of the workmanship was high. In one case he pointed out a simple adjustment I could try that fixed the problem. After a couple of disappointments with other plumbing companies, it was nice to find a group of professions that understand how to work with people.

Once again The Plumbing Source responded to our call for service regarding a toilet in a timely manner. Rather than repair the guest bathroom toilet, we requested a new toilet. The serviceman, Piotr, also looked at the toilet downstairs which occasionally gives a problem; we requested a new toilet there also. The total time from Peter's arrival, assessment of the issues, delivery of the two (2) new toilets and installation was three + (3+) hours. Peter was respectful of us and our home. Was a constant problem with sewage comming up through basement floor drains. Finally put The Plumbing Sorce on it, they made four visits to work on and identify the issue (I paid for only one, the rest were repeats).
The result was a requirement to replace indoor, under basement floor, cast iron pipe (issues verified by in pipe camera). Took 1 week, and required replacement of all basement (under concrete floor) piping. Perfect job with everything redone and now better than when originally installed 35 years ago.

Plumbing Source came out to check on leaking toilet. It looks like they fixed it. However, when we asked if they could look at the kitchen sink and see if he could replace the faucet because it was also leaking, he said no (didn’t even look at it) and that we would need a whole new sink and that he could not do it. We asked a handy family friend to come over and look at it and he replaced the faucet and installed a soap dispenser in 10 minutes. It was pure laziness and unprofessionalism on plumbing sources part. Will not be using them again, and will also tell our family and friends to not use. What a disappointment.

Long story short, had to have someone come out 4 different times afterwards before we now have consistent hot water again. While inconvenient for everyone involved, looking back, I realized how quickly they responded and appreciative of them coming out in the evenings and weekends until it was working properly. A+ for customer service. Very professional and explained everything they were doing. Thank you!

Elderly parents were told that two walls needed to be cut out, new toilet, water heater needed to be replaced and estimated at 6000-7000...then charged 175.00 for the call...got a second opinion and price at 700.00 and water heater didn't need to be replaced...no walls cut through...problem fixed....are we scamming the elderly?..

Mike and his crew are great. These guys completed an entire replacement of my gutter lines and tied them into the main sewer line in two days. Guys showed up on time, (even earlier than expected) and worked all day. Mike does a great job of educating you while he is doing the job. Can’t say enough about these guys and I’ll definitely be using them in the future should an issue arise.

My hot water tank was leaking. Despite same day service looking dim, they were able to make it happen. The dispatcher, Andrew, communicated throughout the day. Dan arrived full of positive energy despite it being the end of the day. He ended up having to replace the tank. Phenomenal professionalism and service. Thank you!

Worked with Scott to remodel a shower in our master bathroom about a year or so ago. Going with this team was the best decision we could have made. Was extremely professional the entire way and the shower came out better than we envisioned. Workmanship and quality are better with these guys than with most of the plumbers we have used in this area.

Fast forward to today, I had an issue today with something else -- a second floor bathtub seems to be leaking. Scott (on a Sunday) replied to my texts and helped me through the mess. Truly the best!

Mike and Kyle took care of multiple issues I had. They were professional and very knowledgeable. I feel the price was a little high, but I don't mind paying for quality service. I will certainly call them again when I need plumbing help.
