customer service was terrible. when I called the person that answered the phone did not state the companies name I was a little thrown off so I ask is this Frank Niesen. This person replied he isnt in Im like is this the company he was like you didn't say the company Frank Niesen is a person and hung up on me. I will take my money to a company that's wants it.

We have been doing business with Schneller & Knochelmann for several years. Being on a maintenance program , we see their techs 2 times a year. They have a knack of finding the most professional , personable , quality people you could to hope to deal with. Thank you for the great service!

Just dont buy your own part and pay for them to help you with it. George put in a new cartridge(which we purchased on our own). Paid him $145 to help with the difficult removal of the old cartridge(you know how simple jobs are rarely simple). Initially the leaky faucet seemed fixed after he put in the new one until we tried to take a shower and had no hot water pressure. Called him back out and after he fooled with it for a minute, said that the new cartridge was bad and it would cost atleast another $145 plus cost of him purchasing a new part for him to remedy the problem. Had he told us this from the get go, we would've returned the already purchased cartridge and let him buy his own. Now we're back to square one snd

Very trustworthy company. Always upfront about the what the repair will cost. I had a leaking pipe in a ceiling where the time involved to fix was not known, and the plumber told me his best estimate of how much time it would take to fix. He got it fixed promptly and the final cost was lower than his estimate. I trust this company.

We called about a leaky toilet. Jay was out in about an hour. I received a clear explanation of the problem and the options. The leak was fixed quickly.

Contacted via Angi for repair/replace of water heater. Spoke with Eric Warner 3 times prior to him responding to my home for an estimate. At no point during those conversations did he mention a $129.00 Trip charge. No other contractor requested a charge for an estimate. If you contact or are contacted by American Rooter, be sure to enquire about a fee for an estimate. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and Angi.
