Our water heater input hose was leaking badly. Nieman came out quickly, tried to repair, but discovered the tank was damaged. The company was flexible and scrambled to install a new one the next day. They were courteous and helpful across the board.

A+ Company. From the Plumber to the Repair Crew, they are not only extremely competent, but cordial and go the extra mile in a BIG way. I do not have enough nice to say. Added, I did not have the long waits, I hear is typical with this Industry. I highly recommend this Company.

John and Henry came to my house to look at a couple of plumbing issues that I have. They were on time, courteous, and great at helping me to understand what was going on with my plumbing issues. John made a recommendation for one of my issues by suggesting that I call the manufacturing company who made my shower fixture and seeing if I can get free replacement parts. I called the company and I do get lifetime replacement parts for free. Then he could install them. I saved somewhere around $100 because of his recommendation. Who does this anymore? About two years ago Nieman came out to my house for another plumbing problem. They did an excellent job; that’s why I called them again.

Spa tub motor was not working. Had been turned off at the breaker - duh!

Best ever

A different company had diagnosed our leak as a problem with our spa tub jets, and Nieman is one of the few companies that does spa tub repair. However, when the plumber arrived, it was immediately clear that the problem has been misdiagnosed, because even though we stopped using the tub there was still water leaking into our basement. The Nieman plumber identified the issue as gaps in the shower tile grout. So they couldn’t help with that, but at least we now know what the real problem is so that we can address it!

John was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained in detail what steps he would take to repair our leak and replace our sump pump. It was completed professionally, quickly and cleanly. We are very happy with the service.

In our case, they even called the city to handle a clogging issue that was the city's responsibility. It saved us a lot of money.

Very professional and knowledgeable, I will use them again

I would highly recommend Nieman plumbing. A home inspection found a hole in one of the pipes, and there was “some other flow issue.” In addition to Nieman, I got estimates from two other places, but Nieman was the only one to discover what that “other flow issue” was. They knocked the project out in about a day, and pricing was totally reasonable - no gimmicks or up selling like you sometimes get with the bigger guys.

All was done in a professional manner.

I had a plumbing issue at a rental property I own and needed some repair work done to a water heater vent. The service reps from Nieman were on time, very efficient in their work and corrected the problem quickly. While on site they also inspected my water heaters and did a cleaning. Awful. Joe came out to my house after I discovered a leak from my jacuzzi tub into my basement. He took a few photos and told me there was no way to get to what he needed to and basically said I would need a new tub and that they're more trouble than they're worth. I figured out the problem myself after letting the water run and using my own freakin eyes to see where the leak was, went online and purchased the part based on the model of the jacuzzi motor. I had a plumber from the neighborhood come out and he fixed the problem using the part I bought. Joe never took the time to run the water to figure out where the leak was and basically told me there was nothing I could do about it and that he would look for tubs that fit my needs and never measured it. He charged me $135 for labor....um excuse me, labor??? He did NOTHING except take some picture of my basement ceiling and tell me good luck. I left a message with the manager of the company today, but this was really poor service.

Had a floor drain clogged in basement. Had to turn off the AC on a hot day to stop condensate line from flooding floor. Called Nieman around 8:00pm and followed prompts for 24 hour emergency calls. No one ever called back. Fortunately I was able to eventually get the drain cleared myself. So much for emergency service.

The plumber came to my mother's house and took care of all the issues. He was timely and completed the work in a professional manner. There were a few uncertainties, which he addressed. Some were repaired while other where of no concern. I really appreciate the help but most importantly, my 84 year old mother was very happy and very grateful. These guys were great!. Some guy named Ed came over to have a look at a drain problem we had in our new house. This was about a year ago. Our house was 3 months old at the time, so It was under warranty. He figured it out in 10 minutes and fixed it on the spot. He didn't even care that I was looking over his shoulder. I would have offered him a beer if he wasn't on the clock. Good guy.

This was the third service call that I’ve had from Niemann and they have exceeded my expectations every time. Two of the calls were for difficult repairs but John was able to expertly fix the issue in each case. He is very professional and more importantly does a fantastic job. Niemann has a customer for life.

Chris called on his way, came in with booties on, and went right to work. He identified the problem quickly, but unfortunately the water stem fell apart when he took it out! Since this ment the water would run wide open, he got permission to drive 25 minutes to get a repair kit, retuned and completed the repair. Chris is a knowledgeable, very nice young Plummer!

For over (10) years we endured progressively leaky water pickets to hoses in both the front of the house and the rear of the house. Our prior plumber didn't show an interest in eliminating our problem. After a neighbor recommended Johnny from Nieman Plumbing we scheduled Johnny for a visit. He professionally diagnosed our problem, developed a strategy to eliminate our problem and offered significant expert advice of some of other plumbing conditions. We are very grateful for Johnny's experience, professionalism, and expertise.

We had a blockage at our store and Chris ran a camera for about an hour and then a jetter for about an hour. He was able to fix the issue and did a fantastic job.

Top Notch Crews and the best customer service in the industry!

Rex and Michael were so nice and knowledgeable in addressing the issues we have been having with our grinder pump! It has been leaking since we bought our house 3 months ago and after a long and drawn out battle with the home warranty company we finally ventured out to find our own ppl to take a look at it. My husband called them yesterday and they came out first thing this morning. They drained it to get to the root of the problem, grease and tons of built up debris that have been weighing down the float over the last year or so. Rex took pictures and a video of every step and took the time to explain everything they did and what may have caused the issue. I can't recommend them enough. We even signed up for the one year coverage so they will be back in 6 months to make sure the issue stays resolved and to stay ahead of any repairs that may be needed in the future. This was such a huge weight lifted off our shoulders and we could not be more grateful for their time and knowledge! We 100% recommend them for anyone's plumbing needs!

Seriously, this guy was awesome. Fixed my vanity and jacuzzi for water jam, adjusted breakers, inspected the motor and had bunch of advises for me. When he found the home warranty does not cover for any of those, all he asked for is a review. When everyone else was ripping me off for the slightest of the work at my basement, this guy does not expect for the work he has done. I gave him a decent tip. Glad to see people like him who are honest and trustworthy in this field.

The drain from our cement stationary tubs needed to be cleared. Service tech called 10 minutes before arriving, cleared the drain, and was on his way to the next appointment in 45 minutes. Very professional.

Terrible customer service. I called for an emergency service (a burst pipe which resulted in having to shut off all the water to my condo) and I was transferred to a voicemail. After not hearing back from anyone, I called back for them to tell me they could send someone out in 4 days. So much for 24 hour 7day a week emergency service.

I had an issue with the sump pump. While they scheduled me for an appointment in two days they were able to send a service tech that day due to a cancellation. Chris was awesome. He assessed the issues, communicated the solution and worked fast and efficiently to resolve everything to my satisfaction. He even added a back flow devise because one was not installed previously. He showed me what to do to test the backup battery and dated the manufacturers product brochure so I would know when it was installed.

Just had Nieman Plumbing replace a sump pump and back up unit. Joe did a great job again today. I have used Nieman Plumbing for all my plumbing needs for years and they never let me down. They do great work and always clean up after themselves. Very professional company that I highly recommend.

The Nieman team lined our 100+ year old cast iron interior sewer pipe. They were professional, kind and diligent in their work. Would highly recommend.

John came out to check our Jacuzzi bathtub to see why there was no hot water. Fortunately after asking some questions, he checked the pipes and could see there was hot water and our issue was a bad cartridge in our Moen faucet - not an issue with the tub or prior installation. Awesome Company, came to the job when promised and took care of the clogged pipe

Brendan and his assistant came out to do a sewer pipe scope. Then they returned another day to do special sewer pipe cleaning.

Brendan and his assistant were kind, courteous, and honest. In the initial visit he showed me the scope video. He treated me as if it was his own house and gave me his opinion and suggestion which built trust and faith in Nieman Plumbing.

I then booked the second visit for the sewer pipe cleaning. They returned to do the job. I received the same friendly, knowledgeable and professional treatment.

Brendan and his assistant have set the foundation for a future call to Nieman Plumbing if I should ever have any plumbing issues that my husband cannot fix :))

Josh from Nieman Plumbing was very friendly and efficient. He got right to work and took care of all 3 issues that we had - a broken pipe, a slow drain, and a faucet that wasn't working properly. He also took the time to explain how to avoid a broken pipe in the future. All in all, we were very happy with his work.

The technician was earlier than originally expected, friendly, and efficient. Very happy with the testing service provided.

Not impressed at all with this company. My system can only be serviced by them, so next time something catastrophic goes wrong, I’ll be converting to public sewer. Contract says that they’ll clean and maintain the system, but they ignored warning signs from one of the sensors for over a year until it broke, then charged about $2k to fix it. On top of that, the workers that come out have skipped servicing the system because they couldn’t get into my garage, even though there’s a hose to hook into outside. If your system can be serviced by anyone else, save yourself the hassle and don’t pay nieman a dime. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

This company was doing work beside my house. But they could not have been a better group of working men. Everyday when I got home they would move everything so I could pull into my driveway and go inside after work. Never complained or took their time. It was a unique experience.

I used Nieman to detect the source of a sewer gas odor issue at my business. The team was thorough and professional. Through their testing equipment and process, I felt confident in the results and conclusion that the odor was not coming from within our plumbing system.

Water heater burst early in the AM. They were able to accommodate and had a new one installed by mid afternoon. More than exceeded my expectations.

We had a frozen pipe that broke early on the day after Christmas. I called several plumbing companies in vain but then reached Nieman plumbing. They were able to come in the early afternoon on the same day. The plumber arrived on time and quick LTL replaced the broken pipe. I would definitely recommend this company.

Oh my goodness, we had the BEST plumber ever! John was courteous, kind, and professional. He is knowledgeable and worked hard to place our outdoor spicket in a new location. His wabsite states free estimates. However, he charges over $80.00 to come to your house and over $130.00 an hour for labor, plus parts. Where is the free estimates? Maybe he gives you the free estimate of how much the job is going to cost to repair. While he has charged you for coming to your house and by the hour to research the job.

I had an emergency situation on 10/14/2018 Sunday at 8pm. I called because they came up on Google search as 24/7. I had cut out a piece a pipe to were I removed a toiled. I ran to Home Depot got the parts. I grab the wrong fitting being in a rush. I got back and they was closed already. I had to get the water back on to this building so I called them because in no way could I not get it fixed. My regular plumber was out of town this weekend. They came out and it took them 30 minutes because I had the copper pipe for them they needed. $375.00 for that time. The guy was nice. But it is really sad that a company would take so much advantage of someone in a really bad situation. I know it's Sunday and 8pm but there is no reason for that kind of price. I was glad they came last minute, but I had no choice.

We have used Nieman Plumbing three times in the past. When looking for a backup sump pump, it was suggested to go with a water powered pump which needs no electric to operate. It has operated twice since it was installed.
Joe Giesler has provided the service everytime. The work is on time, thorough, complete and clean up after the job is excellent.
We should also mention Pam in the office who scheduled the work and worked with us at Ferguson Supply when selecting a replacement for the kitchen faucet.

Some confusion up front on whether or not they service Whirlpool water heaters under warranty. Apparently the receptionist was new and not aware. They called back and within a day made it right. I appreciate when a company admits to being human and still shows they care!

I had the misfortune of calling this company for a leak under my kitchen sink recently. I had tried to fix it myself and was able to tighten some nuts but still had some water dripping from the sprayer hose and wanted the other pipes evaluated. I was hoping they could just do a quick repair and keep the bill around $100-150.
What I got instead was a guy who said the sink in my 13 year old house was in bad shape and needed replacing. (click dots for more).
He also commented on how my faucet was hard to move side ways, and get this, my sprayer hose was obsolete and could not be replaced. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His exact words were Its time for a new kitchen , I kid you not. And when he said that, I was absolutely livid and basically said if he wasn't going to just fix the leak I didn't need his service so he left.
I was ready to shell out tripple figures for a repair but he decided to go for whole enchilada and lost big.
I ended up calling Moen who sent me the replacement hose FOR FREE. and after a few visits to a DIY website and banging my knuckles up and cussing, I was able to replace the hose my self. No more leaks.

Initially service person came out to diagnose the problem with kitchen faucet, which he did quickly. Needed a new faucet replacement. The appointment for the replacement was scheduled for Friday, though the repairman had extra time on Wednesday, and installed the new faucet 2 days ahead of schedule. All works great. Work was done very well.

We eliminated galvanized water supply and changed it to Pex.

On time, did the job well, expensive but I was told ahead of time.

They did a great job - they arrived when they said they would, worked without supervision or hassle, and finished about an hour before I thought they would. Johnny arrived this morning and removed my old broken garbage disposal for me. He also replaced some piping under the sink, and installed two new basket strainers. He explained all the work that was done, made sure everything was working properly, and showed me exactly what I was being billed for. I called Nieman Plumbing on 12/28/22 at 9:34am. Over two weeks ago. The call was answered by the receptionist. I explained my admittedly unusual problem that my pipes are having a chemical reaction with something in the water supply coming into my home causing a complete failure. I was interested in an estimate for a complete re-pipe of the house. She kept placing me on hold to get a response obviously fed to her by whoever was also by the phone listening, but did not make themselves known. After this back and forth, she stated that she would pass it along to the Estimates team and they would call me back. I said OK and we said goodbye.

Unfortunately for them, she didn't hang up the phone properly. I heard a man say, I hate calls like that. Somebody is trying to sell them a job and... She then realizes the call is still active, gasps, and hangs it up. Too late. I heard you. I have spoken to many different companies regarding my issue. Many who thought they know everything, much like you, were humbled when they saw that I wasn't exaggerating and this is a serious issue I am dealing with and they are learning something new within their field. You chose ignorance. Additionally, no one from your company ever called me back. So you trash talked a potential customer that is looking for a full home re-pipe and then never called back on a $10,000-20,0000 job. I think that speaks volumes to your level of professionalism and it's shockingly shameful.

This is How To Lose a Potential Customer 101... My experience with your company was an epic disappointment and I hope this review saves others from your condescending and unprofessional staff for many years to come.

Came highly recommended by my HVAC provider. I even used them for two small jobs in the past, with no problems. But for this bigger issue I was having, I waited days and days for them to even respond until I finally called them back, and then I had to wait 9 more days for plumber to come out and he did nothing but take a picture! Not even replace the shut-off valves which I had explained I needed. Service department staff were very rude and unprofessional over the phone. Never again.

We were just told they weren't making in service calls. No explanation. I've never had this happen before...every. I guess I could see if they were busy and the service was going to be next week or in 2 weeks. But, just not taking ANY? As in ever? I'm so confused. I had heard good things.

The builder for our new home had Neiman do all our plumbing work. There were some minor leak issues here and there but other than that everything was fine until one day our 3 month-old kitchen water line popped out overnight and flooded the entire kitchen and part of our basement. The response was pretty quick and solved most of the issue. People who came out to work on the issue were nice and apologetic. HOWEVER, it's going on 5 months since the water leak happened and there has been absolutely NO updates from Neiman on how the reimbursement for the damaged items from the flooding will be done. They didn't respond to my voice message so I had to follow up with them. Still no ETA on when this reimbursement will be processed. They are even resisting to pay for the extra electricity we had to pay to run fans in our basement for a week to dry it out. Oh and did I mention I didn't get a proper apology from the owners/management? Still waiting to hear back from them. I do NOT recommend this business.

They were very fast and efficient as well as letting me know how long it would take.

Since it wasn't an emergency, it took a few days to get on the schedule, but John was great, on-time and professional. He corrected an issue and we learned of a location of a pressure valve we assumed was enclosed in the jetted tub cabinetry. It was a minimal visit cost and he was very helpful and when I asked about another issue, he showed me how to research it myself first, explaining that the cartridge might not be the issue. It was nice to have an honest assessment and someone not trying to just add to the bill. Very happy with both the man sent and the company.

I have used the services of Nieman Plumbing for more than 15 years. Today's disposal and kitchen faucet replacement service was outstanding. John, the service tech, was professional, kind, clean, efficient, and knowledgeable. I have recommended Nieman Plumbing before and will continue to do so based on today's experience, plus the fact that the entire organization is well run and they do what they promise.

Great work, but beware Nieman is pricey compared to other plumbing outlets. I paid $245 for about 20 minutes work. There is the obligatory service call fee plus ONE-HOUR MINIMUM ($135) which jacks up a small, very easy job to an expensive one. But, no complaints as the work was fast and professional.
