Best Outdoor Plumbing in Chicago IL
GREAT...What a nice company to work with. Cormac made me feel so at ease and was a pleasure to meet. No pressure to do minor repairs and told me of things that need to be done before we move. Your yearly service contract is worth every penny. I give your company ***** five stars.

Our sink pipes were old and corroded which caused it to leak. Gabriel explained the problem concisely and changed out our old metallic pipes for pvc. He was very considerate on our future plans to remodel our sink and worked with that in mind. Overall, he did and excellent job and was very polite. We would highly recommend him and would ask for his services again in the future if needed.

We had some major plumbing work that had to be done in our basement and first floor bathroom. Vanguard plumbing was quick to respond to our request. It’s an old house and some of the vents pipes burst and the rest were old and rusty and had to be replaced. Jan was very thorough in explaining the whole project and transparent about the cost and their hourly rates. I would recommend Vanguard for any plumbing work.

Wonderful company that I would recommend to anyone! We had several gas leaks in our basement and had our gas turned off immediately. After calling First Chicago Plumbing, they came out the same day, gave us a very fair quote, and were back out the next day to complete the job. They were extremely friendly, professional and clearly took pride in their work. They even contacted us the next day to make sure everything was working properly after the gas company came back to turn the gas on.

Here's my personal opinion and why i think you should consider any other plumbing company besides APEX - Poor care for customer service. They're disrespectful, awful communication, and lie and make false promises of solving the problem.
I hired them to address my low water pressure in my multi-unit building. At the time of estimating the job, I was extra clear that pressure is my underlying problem and gave them as much information as I could. They said they could do the job and solve my problem because it seems like my rising pipes were really old galvanized piping. 2 days later they started and collected half the payment over the phone through credit card. I did not allow them to keep it on file and said I would pay again at the end of the job.
They started and finished 3 days later but I still had little to no water pressure and after getting frustrated that they couldn't solve the problem, one of the plumbers blew up on me and said the contract was complete because all it said was the risers needed to be changed and his job was done and they'd put a LIEN on my house if not paid. Issue was still not resolved and I was out of pocket $10k I find out they charged my credit card and illegally stored my info when I asked not to.
The owner/boss comes the next day and says he'll try to find a solution and all he did was simply walk to the main city pipe and say this is another $30k job because you need to change the main pipe but he'll keep looking for an answer. 2 weeks go by and he never called, and when i called him he accused me of being impatient and rude. When i asked what he came up with in 2 weeks, he said honestly hadn't given it much thought. This whole time my walls are still torn out and I have families living here. They also never provided me the copy to the contract until my last conversation with the owner.
I can understand if it was 1 employee, but the owner himself provided this type of service - which says a lot about the company. Save yourself the trouble, pay a little more and go with any other plumbing company.

We hired Right Away to relocate some plumbing in our kitchen. Tony came out to give us a quote and was very polite and professional. Told us it would be a 4-6 hr job in one day. We scheduled and put our puppy in daycare for the day so she would not hear the noise. Jorge came out almost 2 hrs after we were told he would arrive. Jorge was also polite and professional and his work seems to be great but he left after 1.5 hrs and said he had to return the next day. Very frustrating when we were told it was a one day project and had made arrangements. The work the next day was not done until late afternoon, our dog was frantic and our jobs were disturbed. We had no idea when the next day Jorge would arrive. Again, the work seems to be great and Jorge was wonderful, however then the pilot light to our water heater burnt out when he turned the water back on, not only were we left without hot water for 4 days, they were going to charge us $200 to replace the pilot light after the extra time they took to do the work and the cause of the light being burnt out being unknown. I’d take a long pause and lots of research before hiring them again.

Left a voice mail about my problem with a clogged kitchen sink drain that likely needed to be rodded. Henry called back within a few hours with a quote and an appointment time for the same day. Henry was professional, courteous and very generous with free advice! I would recommend Kavana to everyone.

They provided a quote for emergency services in a timely manner. Let us know when to expect the technician who arrived on time and was preceded by a picture of the tech along with his bio. The job was completed and plumber adjusted the quote because the repair did not take as long as anticipated. 5 Start Service

The tech was on time, friendly and explained what he was doing and how I can prevent further clogs. I had gotten several quotes from other companies which were $HUNDREDS more for the same service. Real price for a great service. I will use them again in the future for sure!

After hiring 3 other plumbers who said it was normal for my sump pump to drain every 15 minutes, Walter came out immediately and fixed it within 30 min. Him and his staff are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

Avoid at all costs. Didn't install our building's water heater correctly forcing us to hire an actual professional and pay $1,000s in repairs. Also doesnt know how to install a ground wire which is something your average 13 year old can figure out with ease. A blind, one legged, half dead cocker spaniel would be a better plumber. A cocker spaniel could also not return your calls just as well as this guy. Likely pursuing this matter in small claims court. Read the yelp reviews for more one star reviews.

Hi Derek. You didn't install a water heater at 1324-26 W Hood Ave recently? I think I can prove you did and that it was defective and the installation was done incorrectly. Also that you did not honor an installation warranty or return phone calls regarding the situation. You can call us back and fix this without extra headache for both sides or look forward to receiving a copy of the court summons and formal complaint very soon.
