Henry was amazing! I had two different plumbing issues and he was able to talk me through how to fix them both over the phone. He will definitely be my first call next time I need a plumber and should be yours too.

He took his time walking me through temporary mitigation steps for my situation so I can go to bed in peace. I called Kavana Plumbing because I needed 2 gas lines moved. The owner was very responsive. He called me back in minutes, asked for photos of my gas line needs and helped me communicate with the gas company, which was far beyond what was needed. Henry came to our rescue during some heavy rains recently when our sump pump and backup pump stopped working. He came promptly that evening and was able to get both pumps working again without us needing to buy brand new equipment. Great resource to call on if you need plumbing help right away!

We were quoted approximately $2000 for 4 hours of work to replace an old concrete utility sink—including removal—which is obscene. The average hourly rate for a plumber according to google is $45 - $150 an hour. We decided to do it ourselves and the materials cost about $120. Add to that $600–let’s be generous and go with $150/hour—and that comes to $720. So, why are they charging more than twice that? I’m happy to pay good money for good work but it’s hard for me to see how they’re not taking advantage of people

We called Henry on a weekend, and he came in under short notice and took care of replacing our leaking kitchen faucet. He did the job clean and quick. I will be calling him again for future plumbing repairs

The Owner Henry was on time, very professional/friendly and his prices are fair. I would definitely recommend him for a plumber. The day prior to starting, he took the time to consult with me in person for 3 hours to discuss the entirety of the work that would be performed; not sure there are many contractors whom would even give you 15 minutes of consultation time.

If plumbing was an academic course, Henry would be the professor you'd want at the lectern. He is someone who has a deep understanding and passion about plumbing that even Novice minds when it comes to plumbing (like myself) could follow. His around the clock dedication was impeccable--willing to sacrifice sleep in order to stay and finish well beyond the agreed upon time frame.

I would be remiss if I did not mention his assistant Jamel who was also very instrumental in helping Henry, especially when it came to repairing the leak in the hot water pipe that was in a very difficult and hard to reach position. I truly do appreciate his contributions as well.

I called Kavana's Plumbing around 11:30 p.m. I had an emergency when my pipes burst suddenly due to the extreme weather and I had no water in the house. I called several other plumbers looking for help, but all were booked or either closed due to the late hour.

I wrote a review for Kavana’s Plumbing and Heating about a month ago. During the severe cold, my pipes burst and I needed an emergency 24 hour repair service. I surfed the internet and found several 24 hour service providers, but they had restricted hours listed despite the fact they advertised as 24 hour service. I came across Kavana’s Heating and Plumbing as a 24 hour provider and spoke to Henry who immediately came out and repaired the damage to our pipe and restored our water.
We have an old Victorian built in 1894 and the plumbing system is delicate. Henry had the knowledge and resources to correct the situation without causing us to go into extreme debt in order to correct the problem.

Sympathetic to our budget, he also recognized a few other issues in the piping system. If left, they could potentially cause more severe problems in the future.

In our neighborhood, our house has stood as a historic landmark for the community. We are known as the Pink and White House of the West side of Chicago. My dad was dedicated to preserving the integrity of the home and the frequent repairs needed when preserving an older home. Since his death, the house is in need of many repairs to our great concern.

Mindful of this, Kavana’s Plumbing and Heating was willing to donate their time and service to repair and fix some of the other plumbing issues that was detected in the home. Called Kavana's Plumbing and Heating for main line issue. Henry Wright- owner/plumber came out and resolved issue with main line and replaced shower head and faucet head. I was very pleased with the time taken to do the complete job. Henry was quick and efficient. He explained what he needed to do and how much it would cost so that I understood everything. I have had no other problems since. If something else comes up, I will definitely call Kavana's Plumbing and Heating again. Our ejector pump broke on the Sunday night before Memorial Day. Henry came out at 11pm and worked up a solution—he only replaced one broken part, rather than replacing the whole pump, which would have been an extra $400. Responsive, professional, and affordable. This is the only plumber I will be calling from now on.

Came through when our condo was in an emergency. We had a gas leak caused by leaking pipes in our building. Kavana's Plumbing was able to come out the same day and fix the leaking pipes. Service was very professional and he explained what he was doing both before and after working. The leaks were fixed and we were able to get our gas turned back on!
