Aiden and Chuck just did a water valve replacement & pipe repair on our condo assoc main water valve. They came within 45 minutes of us calling them to quote us, and were able to accommodate next day service to repair & replace our water valve that wasn't turning off. What we paid was exactly what they quoted us, we felt they were honest with the work needed to be done and did not charge for anything we didn't really needed done - unlike some other companies who quoted us. Thank you for your prompt service and communication skills! Will definitely be contacting Apex Plumbing again next time we have any plumbing work or issues.

I was super excited to have a new dishwasher installed today, only to find they refused to complete the install because the water shut off valve to the dishwasher wasn’t working properly. They told me to notify them when it was fixed so they could reschedule.

I saw Apex’s positive reviews and decided to give them a call for this relatively small job. The first person to answer was very kind, and told me the team would be in touch soon. Not even 20 minutes later I was on the phone with their dispatch team being told someone would be on site same day, in the next 5 or so hours. I got a call from Jon less than an hour later. Everyone I spoke to was positive and professional.

Service was excellent, prompt, and the team was willing to double check all the valves in my condo just to be sure the dishwasher was the only one needing to be replaced as a part of their complimentary estimate. While it may have cost less to get the part and give the replacement a go on our own, but having the job done right, done well, and done quickly was totally worth it. I’d use these guys again in a heartbeat!

We've used Apex unfortunately a few times now. The first few were for basement flooding that led to drain repair on the city's side of things. They were incredibly responsive and informed. They handled all of the contracts and permits and city delegations. And now it was for a burst pipe. They were here 30 minutes after we called. The plumber John was fast, personable, and thorough. He assesed the problem in no time, and was here for less than an hour. Not to mention the receptionist was very calming and patient while I panicked and fumbled over my words. We've reccomended them before and will continue to reccomend them. Thanks Apex!

WARNING!! TO ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS DO NOT USE APEX Plumbing and Sewer Services!!!! They improperly installed a sump pump in my finished basement in May 2022. They DO NOT back there services! I have tried to reach the owners on 3 occasions to explain that the pump failed after 10 months and got no call back. A more reputable company came in and explained to me that their was work was sloppy and not properly installed. Specifically. they did not replace a broken check valve and did not properly fasten and seal the sump pump cover. Plus the fact that their Made in China pump failed and refused to contact me and explain themselves after I sought a partial refund. I paid $2500 for this work which took less than a hour for them to complete. Also a ridiculous amount given a pump casts approx. $500. THEY ARE RIP-OFFS! I am reporting them to BBB and I warn anybody to use a more reputable company.

Plumber (Charles) came out to look at a water fountain at my business. He sent me an email a few days after with a quote and what needed to be done. I responded to his email three times and never received a response. I've called 4 times to schedule him or another plumber to come out to fix it and have been told each time someone will call me back to schedule a time. It's been a month now and still no one has reached out to get this fixed. No one can help me when I call their number and they continue to tell me to wait for them to reach out. Don't waste your time with this company.

Great service from start to finish. Starting at the service call, the gentleman took the time to listen to the issue and share his thoughts, then we scheduled the free estimate. Chas came to do the estimate and he was just as professional, listned to the problem (floor drain backing up) , investigated (popped manholes and drain covers, looked at sink line inside) and promptly outlined his opinion on the options. We had a deal and Chas took care of the problem on the spot. 10 minute phone call on Friday, rodded and unclogged line by 11 Am on Saturday. Will call again and refer to others. ? Hard to find honest companies, Apex is one of them.

Recently bought a condo that had been vacant for a while and came with a few plumbing issues. Apex was great! Aiden was very professional and knowledgable and fixed the issues quickly. I highly recommend and will definitely be using them for any future plumbing issues. Thank you!!

We had an amazing experience with Brandon and Aidoun (sp).Brandon diagnosed our problem within minutes of arriving.
Our ejector pump went bad so nothing on our basement level (bathroom, shower, utility sinks, washer/dryer outlet) was going out to the sewer. You can only image the smell and look on my face when I tried to use a plunger thinking I had a clogged toilet.

These guys calmed my anxiety and replaced the old pump probably within an hour. It was quick and they walked me through the entire process.

The emergency repair was expensive but well worth the cost. Today we woke up to a fresh smelling “Mancave” as if nothing had ever happened. I highly recommend this place for any of your plumbing needs.

Apex Plumbing was great! I had a pipe clog and burst in my laundry room. Apex sent someone out the same day. Brandon arrived on time and quickly assessed and fixed the problem. He was very knowledgeable and skilled, and also very nice. I highly recommend!

Our water heater went out on a Saturday. Didn't realize until Saturday evening and left a message with Apex. Chuck immediately called me back and was willing to have someone come out by Sunday. We ended up scheduling the visit for Monday to save on labor costs. Aiden was their technician and was super friendly and professional. Highly recommend Apex and they also came in below several of the other quotes I received.

My husband thought he lost his ring down the drain so I called Apex late on a Wednesday night: I spoke to Chas and he talked me through the process of opening the drain myself and checking, so I could avoid the 150$ fee! He was so great and comforting. Plus, I became a little more handy in the process! Thank you Chas!

I called Apex to request help with low water pressure, they came by and gave an assessment and identified the issue as needing a pressure pump, about $4000. I trusted their assessment and spent an additional $1000 to get electrical wired to support the pump. At the end of the project, the water pressure wasn’t fixed. They then came by again and said it was the pipe issue and it couldn’t be fixed with a pressure pump, that I had already paid for and installed. They would not take any returns nor any credits for their work or incorrect assessment. I messaged them about this and it was ignored. Extremely disappointed and out $5000 for nothing.

My water pipeline broke and we were all scared about the leakage in the basement and where all it has damaged. But luckily Apex plumbing & Sewer guys did a good job and found the root cause of the leakage and fixed it before it damaged anything. Thanks guys really appreciate your help.

The booster pump for my water began leaking so I called Apex in the morning. They arrived within 30 minutes and gave me a free estimate along with a few options for what I could do. I decided to have the pump replaced with a better model. They went to get the pump right away, returned and installed it all within a few hours. Chuck and Aiden did a great job and I highly recommend their work!

Third time using Apex Plumbing on my apartment building and will do so again if a need arise. impressed for a third time, so leaving an appreciative review. Chaz and Charles repaired a leaking drain pipe in the wall of one of my apartment units, and cut away some floor and drywall in a very clean way to allow for easy patch. Also, reduced their quote after finishing as they got it done quicker than expected. I can't ask for much more than that! -Jim

Here's my personal opinion and why i think you should consider any other plumbing company besides APEX - Poor care for customer service. They're disrespectful, awful communication, and lie and make false promises of solving the problem.

I hired them to address my low water pressure in my multi-unit building. At the time of estimating the job, I was extra clear that pressure is my underlying problem and gave them as much information as I could. They said they could do the job and solve my problem because it seems like my rising pipes were really old galvanized piping. 2 days later they started and collected half the payment over the phone through credit card. I did not allow them to keep it on file and said I would pay again at the end of the job.

They started and finished 3 days later but I still had little to no water pressure and after getting frustrated that they couldn't solve the problem, one of the plumbers blew up on me and said the contract was complete because all it said was the risers needed to be changed and his job was done and they'd put a LIEN on my house if not paid. Issue was still not resolved and I was out of pocket $10k I find out they charged my credit card and illegally stored my info when I asked not to.

The owner/boss comes the next day and says he'll try to find a solution and all he did was simply walk to the main city pipe and say this is another $30k job because you need to change the main pipe but he'll keep looking for an answer. 2 weeks go by and he never called, and when i called him he accused me of being impatient and rude. When i asked what he came up with in 2 weeks, he said honestly hadn't given it much thought. This whole time my walls are still torn out and I have families living here. They also never provided me the copy to the contract until my last conversation with the owner.

I can understand if it was 1 employee, but the owner himself provided this type of service - which says a lot about the company. Save yourself the trouble, pay a little more and go with any other plumbing company.

I went downstairs to do a load of laundry and noticed water & some type of backup all over my laundry room, utility room and wet carpet inbetween. I didn't know where to start and gave Apex a call. Incredibly professional from the initial call through the service. They arrived in less than 30 minutes!! Quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed Ejector Pump. They had the parts and equipment to service on the spot, provided me with honest options to resolve and quickly got to work. Truly a 5-star experience all around. Friendly service, knowledgeable work and complete transparency. It is a family run business and it shows from the dedication to customer service, being straightforward in explanation and ability to guarantee their work. Can't say enough positive things about Apex and will be the only company I call with any future needs.

We had just moved to a new home and the garbage disposal was not functioning. The sink was backing up and there was a bunches of dishes, pots and pans that needed to be washed before being put away. I called Apex, told them my problem and three hours later Chas, the owner’s son, showed up. Chas fixed it and explained the disposal had been seized by rust or jammed. He quickly taught me how to fix it if it happened again and left a Allen wrench-like key for me to do so. Great service and attitude! We use these guys for everything and would absolutely recommend you do as well.

The service of Apex was top notch from all aspects. This was my first experience with Apex and I contacted them from a referral. When they advertise same day service, they mean it. Chad was the plumber dispatched and he gave me a courtesy call 30 mins before his arrival. Chad was courteous and considerate when he arrived. I explained my issue and he walked me through the options of service I would need without high pressure sales pitch. He gave me a free estimate of the work I needed. I highly recommend requesting Chad if you call Apex.

I reached out to Apex Plumbing & Sewer Inc. a few days ago for two clogged drains in my building. What was explained to me as a routine rodding quickly turned into a flooded kitchen and water damage to my basement.

Apex refuses to accept responsibility for the water damages caused by their technician ($1,700) and instead offered me a credit of $150. I refused their offer and will be perusing alternative means of compensation for their damage.

I was fortunate enough to take video and photo evidence of damages at the time of the accident and will use them to help defend myself. In addition, I made sure the technician documented the water damage in the plumbers report.

I believe that a competent plumber would have understood of this risk while the work was being preformed, explained this risk to a homeowner, and provide an opportunity for the homeowner to accept the risk before beginning the work.

I hope this review helps other homeowners make their own decisions on whether or not they should choose Apex Plumbing & Sewer Inc. for plumbing services.

Chas, Geoff and Dave were excellent! We had an emergency sewer issue at my condo. They made us their morning priority, diagnosed and resolved the issue in the same day. Chas also explained what was happening and why and how to minimize the issue in the future. He also provided guidance on maintenance. I highly recommend APEX.

We hired Apex to review a problem in our condo-owner-managed, historic, three flat! We had originally thought it was our sump but subsequently figured out it was actually a break in our sewer line! This was a very scary issue for us and Apex kept us informed and on an expeditious schedule the entire time. They worked with us to rod out, jet, camera and ultimately find a break in our main sewer line, where it meets the City's in the street. They helped guide us through the City's PDP process and coordinated the City's review and acceptance of our condo building in the PDP Program. All the guys (Chas, Aiden, someone else I'm forgetting- I'm sorry!) were helpful, responsive, professional and answered all my questions. They ultimately left me, and our condo owners, with a better understanding and knowledge of our historic condo's plumbing and gave us a few tips along the way! Thanks guys! Highly recommend!

Just recently, Chas came out to assist with with a sewer problem and was very helpful in helping me understand the issue at hand. They are familiar with my properties and on more than one occasion have had to do the work without someone being present. Never had a bad experience. Trustworthy and honest company.

I called Chaz originally because a different plumber told me we had a collapsed sewage pipe that needed to be replaced and I wanted a second opinion. I described the situation to him and he said it seemed odd the first plumber came to this conclusion without hydro jetting the line and running a camera. Chaz and team came out very quickly and worked the problem and discovered there was an obstruction in the pipe and were able to flush it out to the main sewage line. Chaz’s knowledge and willingness to troubleshoot the issue helped us correctly identify the issue, resolve it and save thousands of dollars by not performing unnecessary work. They were super responsive, knowledgeable, professional and fair. I highly recommend!

Was having an issue with our dishwasher not draining, called up Apex who said they could come out the next day for free estimate. Plumber named Chaz came out to my house, friendly personable guy who took his time and explained to me what the possible issues were and was upfront about costs. Clean cut friendly guy who fixed the problem right and in a timely manner and haven't had a problem since. I have their magnet on my fridge now, would definitely call again.

Aiden and Charlie were great service techs who had our old, dead water heater out in the alley and a fresh new one installed within a few short hours. Highly recommend.

I have used Apex Plumbing & Sewer for over 15 years at all of my rental properties and my own residence. They are extremely dependable and reliable. Whether it is a replacement water heater, sewer backup, stopped up toilet/bathtub or any type of water leak, I can count on Apex for a quick response and excellent service; always the same day, weekday or weekend. All of their plumbers, from new installation to service, are knowledgeable and polite.

Great emergency service! Gas company shut our gas off due to a natural gas leak. We requested emergency service from Apex and they were at our house within 45 minutes. Plumber pressure tested the system, located the leak and made the repair. Apex had our gas and heat running in no time.

Called Apex today for an ejector pump issue. The whole thing was quick and easy from start to finish. They came out within the hour. The price was fair and the repair was done with no issues. I found them to be reliable. I will use them again.

I had apex plumbing out to my house a couple times for multiple services. From a leak coming from my ceiling to changing out a water heater and fixing my kitchen sink. They did a great job and they take Pride in what they do and very clean . I would highly recommend this company.

Had a blockage in my 4 unit rental. Came out on a Saturday and rodded. Then suggested catch basin should be cleared out. Scheduled that and had a truck clear it out following week. He seemed like he really knew the art of plumbing. Very straightforward. Not cheap but fair. Month later water coming up through my sump pump at my own house. I flipped breaker and texted him. Water started receding. He said it was probably toilet paper and that breaker probably fixed it. Nice guy!

In Feb 2020, I had APEX uninstall/install a kitchen sink (Jobs 43521 & 43503), which was not a good experience. I provided a review to APEX on 04Feb2020, to which APEX stated that they take their reviews seriously and that my 'claim' to have spent over $1000 for poor service was inaccurate (see attached screenshot).
1. I have attached receipts of these two jobs to confirm that my original 1-star review did state the correct payment amount (over $1000).
2. Today (26April2021), 14 months later - this sink is now leaking.

I called APEX today explaining the situation and they stated that they have a 12-month warranty on their work and that they will charge me again to fix the leak. I understand that plumbing company's must have these types of policies and I am not trying to be unreasonable by expecting them to treat me as a special exeption.

However, after my original review for poor-value/workmanship being called 'inaccurate' by APEX AND a subsequently having leaking sink after only 14 months of completed work speaks for itself.

I couldn’t say more about Chuck and his team. They were honest even though they could have made much more business by going along with what another, larger company had recommended. Chuck explained and showed everything along the way and was very professional.

Chas and Brandon were professional, honest and efficient. My dog liked them too! :) I will be calling on them again in the future.

I have reached out multiple times for a follow up on kitchen and bathroom work. After they came out and I paid for a service call (which they claim can be applied to the actual work performed) they stopped returning my calls.

Aidan was great he helped me get my stove leak fixed to pass the people gas requirement.

They were all very friendly, professional, communicative, and did great work! Would definitely recommend
