Best Outdoor Faucet Installation in Chicago IL

I'm annoyed that I paid them 90 dollars for a quote that was ridiculously overpriced. I wanted a toilet replaced. I'd bought the replacement toilet already. I was not interested in any other work or options. I made that clear. They charged me 90 dollars to qoute me 760 dollars to install a toilet (with a year of free service on a toilet that I have a warranty on). I got quotes from three competing plumbers and the next highest was 230 dollars. I got it done for 180. So, their work might be fine, but I bought a toilet and had it installed for literally less than one third of what they were asking for install alone.

Did well. Prompt. Knowledgeable. Good installation. Drawback: expensive - was a bit too much for installation. I bought the unit at Home Depot. The installation cost with Toto-rooter was way too much.

I’m a repeat Vanguard customer and will continue to use Jan for any repairs or installations as long as I live in Chicago. I ordered a new oven from a major home retail chain and the people they sent were incompetent and were unable to install the oven. After not having an oven for two weeks and a 9 month old baby I needed to get this installed ASAP. I called Jan and he came over the same day. He installed the oven with no issue and ensured it was working correctly. He also had a contact who came over shortly after to remove the old oven. Jan is a true professional, very knowledgeable, hard worker, and is always reliable. I’m truly grateful to have him work on our house in the past and be able to provide quick repairs / installations such as our oven.

We used Rocket Plumbing to perform a sewer scope during the inspection process of buying a home. They were great! It was easy to schedule, and they let us know our various options regarding fixing the issue and what would be most cost-effective for us. Other places might quote you a lower price, but the quality of Rocket Plumbing’s service is worth the cost. I think we found our go-to plumber for when we have any future issues!

First Chicago Plumbing caused damage to our shower faucet by not taking the necessary measures while working on another unit in our building. They also lied about what measures could be taken to prevent the issue. Quoting First Chicago Plumbing's response:
Shower faucets do not have stop valves so there was no way to shut them off.
when the fact is there are valves at the water entry points (hot and cold) to the bathroom.
Since then they have been uncooperative and haven't provided insurance details upon multiple requests from the condo association. It is extremely unprofessional of a plumbing company to run away from their responsibilities after causing damage due to their own negligence and then be uncooperative in providing proof of insurance. Stay away from this company since they run away when things don't go right.

The dispatcher was kind and prompt with the appointment time. A plumber was sent who managed to to fix the issues within a short period of time. I was impressed with the quality of their work and I would definitely contact him again for any future plumbing issues.

Great service and explained everything. Pretty simple problem of a clogged shower, but good to know some additional details on where it (most likely) was located and how my particular system/building works.

Great experience with this father and son company. They arrived quickly after I called and gave a fair price. If you call them you will be directly in contact with either the Eddie or Luis, no robo prompts. Highly recommended and we will be calling them for future repairs.

I will definitely use them again when I need a plumber. The plumber showed up when promised and did a great job.

These guys came out and fixed a week of hell in 10 minutes. They came in very professionally and got right to work. They even cleaned up behind themselves. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

The booster pump for my water began leaking so I called Apex in the morning. They arrived within 30 minutes and gave me a free estimate along with a few options for what I could do. I decided to have the pump replaced with a better model. They went to get the pump right away, returned and installed it all within a few hours. Chuck and Aiden did a great job and I highly recommend their work!

Eric came out on short notice. Identified the problem and fixed it quickly. Very knowledgeable. Knew how to deal with my custom sink. Highly recommended. Will use him again.

They trick you into using them because they are fast to respond when most plumbers aren’t. But then they are very expensive and I felt taken advantage of. I consulted on them for several plumbing and hvac and sump pump issues. They took my money for a sump pump evaluation but then never followed up with a recommendation. The hvac they took my money for an eval but then wouldn’t take work to repair it since the AC was on the roof. So I had to pay someone else later to do the same inspection and then repair. They fixed the toilet but the fix never stuck, needless to say I did not have them back to fix it again. My garbage disposal and sink had an issue which they traced back to the battery but only told me it was the battery after I paid nearly $400. I felt like they kept trying to up-sell me for every issue with erroneous services but since we just moved into this older home I needed help getting things up and running. In retrospect I realize I was ripped off.

Boomer came out and got right into the project.
He was thorough and authoritative, providing an estimate and details on the work that would be best to complete. The team was timely and professional.

The service professional was great for us. He was easy to speak to. He fully explained the job task in layman terms so I was crystal clear with what was being done. He also gave me some preventative maintenance tips for prolonging the effectiveness of my home plumbing. His young apprentice also did a great job. I am glad Pierce Plumbing Service fixed our problem.

I called Silverwood Plumbing and talked to a very nice dispatcher who confirmed that a $150.00 service charge would be assessed for same day service to change out a waterline from my refrigerator to wall and that parts & labor would be additional. It was calculated to be about a 3-minute job and that it would be a quick fix - furthermore I literally have the waterline replacement, but simply didn't have the tools to complete it myself - thus the call to Silverwood Plumbing.

Fast forward 1-hour - plumber calls in and asks for photos, which were happily supplied and then they confirmed $350.00 charge for labor... I doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this is absurd considering the simplicity of this job. Either way, I went with another company who did the job same hour for $50.00 service charge.

DO NOT USE SILVERWOOD PLUMBING!!!

They were prompt and able to get out there today (a Friday). excellent communication. I felt the price was a bit high compared to previous plumber doing the same work ($650 vs $500), but other than that I was happy with the service.

Zuñiga was responsive to our emergent issue. They immediately fixed leaks going to the water heater first to allowed the gas company to restore gas the same day. Since it was late in the evening, the remaining gas lines were isolated and fixed the following day

Great experience! Derek was on on time and charged half price of the other other companies. Highly recommended!
