Best Emergency Service in Chicago IL

Pete was awesome! Had a shower leak, thought it was a plumbing issue but more of a door seal issue. They didn't even charge a service charge though I would have paid without issue. Will definitely use them again if needed.

Pete and Noah were professionally engaging. They did an excellent job explaining what repair work was necessary. Outstanding work. Highly recommended.

Alex did an excellent job and was very informative. He explained everything very thoroughly, which you don't get out of most services all the time. He seemed to know more than some older plumbers that we've dealt with in the past. Maybe they were trying to scam or add extra work, but I did not get that vibe from Alex and Roto Rooter.

I recently hired Vanguard for the second time (for an issue unrelated to the first) and both were very positive experiences. I talked with Jan to schedule the job. He communicated promptly and clearly and asked for a bunch of pictures of various pipes and fixtures so he could make an accurate estimate. On the day of, the plumber George (who had done the first job as well) showed up on time, respected the space in terms of shoe coverings and a mask, and effectively communicated the problems, his solutions, and any related choices that I needed to make. He was honest when the job went more quickly than estimated and cost less than the estimate. I appreciate that because it means I can trust him in the future if a job goes long and he has to charge me more than estimated.

My condo's plumbing is a gosh darn mess and I'm definitely going to call Vanguard the next time something goes wrong.

These guys were amazing! They fixed our wiring that got crossed in our kitchen and now we can finally use our dishwasher without the disposal turning on, ha!

My go-to plumber for the last year. In Feb 2019 replaced an injector pump that flooded my basement on the same day I called him, very fair price. Just had him back to inspect a potential issue, he assessed as not a problem and provided some winterization tips for our condo, free of charge. Trustworthy and reliable plumber!

First Chicago Plumbing replaced the faucets in two bathrooms and the kitchen and also replaced the diverter in the bathtub. Eugene and the gentleman with him (I don't recall his name) were very professional and very nice. Eugene took the time to explain everything to me and answered any questions I had, even after the job was completed. Eugene even checked on our hot water heater and gave us an estimate to replace it when the time comes (which will likely be in the next few months!) He will definitely be the person I call!! I highly recommend First Chicago Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

It's that time of year again when all the rain makes homeowners nervous about water in their homes. If you experience water in your basement Goody has emergency service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call then immediately. If you need a repairs to leaking faucets, broken pipes, a new sump pump or flood control system, Goody Plumbing can handle it..

Edwin was very polite and professional, but I feel used. He did not quote me any price, but I trusted him because he had good reviews. When he was finished, he went to his truck to write up the bill. I was astonished that he charged me $475. I should at least have questioned it, but, he knew he had me. The he said he couldn't take credit cards, so, I wrote him a check, which he very promptly cashed. He alone was at my house for as hour and a half. He used a small electric auger, and my electricity, a small piece of PVC pipe, which he attached with a metal ring. I don't think he was worth $300. + per hour.

Eddie and Luis were awesome. They were able to help me with an emergency pipe problem on Christmas Eve. Very professional, knowledgeable, quick and friendly. Cant ask for much more than that! Highly recommend

They lied about the process that supposed need to be done, (3 hours process) when only took not even 50 minutes. When I asked the Andrew, the plumber, how much was it? He told me $598.20 I had no problem paying him. But when I found out that they told my wife that it was going to be $498.10, and the whole process that supposed it need to be done. I realized that they lied to get the job and they charged us more than what the estimate was!?

I called Plumbers 911 for a clogged tub. The plumber showed up when promised and did a great job, quickly with no hassles or mess. I will definetly use them again when i need a plumber.

I appreciated the two of them providing us with a great cost for their service. They very friendly and provided helpful advice on how to to Do it Yourself. I more than appreciate at that. Would love to use them in the future on other projects.

All Pro plumbing did a great job. I had another company come out and they gave me the run around. This guys did the job on time, on budget and we're honest from the start.. I suggest using their services.

Service technician was knowledgeable and polite. My sink was unclogged. However your bank account will also be empty at the end of the service. Very over priced for a simple job. I only learned this after researching once the job was done. $499 for a simple unclogging. Didn't know that I could rent the same tool from home Depot's for a fraction of the price. Although the job was done, I would consider this unprofessional business practice. Again, the work was great but if you can do a bit of research you could save yourself some money. If you don't care about the cost, then this is the company for you.

The IL Consumer fraud act is intended to protect consumers against unfair and deceptive practices including but not limited to charging for goods and service. Overcharging consumers for simple unclogging can be seen as a misrepresentation effort, equipment, quality of service or skill to perform the service.

(815 ILCS 505) section 2

Objectively speaking: $499 for this service is overcharging. This was not a complicated or unique situation.

Excellent service. He came in on short notice after I called about having issues with my main sewer line which was backed up. He was able to fix it in a couple of hours and gave me a walk through of what he was doing. He explained how the plumbing in my house work and was very professional. He was very knowledgeable for sure. He was very nice and it was a pleasure having him fix the issues I was having. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a plumber.

We called more than a week ago to get an appointment. Appointment day comes, appointment window closes, neither hide nor hair of anyone from this company. I tried calling them in the last 15 minutes of the appt window, and the exceedingly rude answering service simply asks, Is your appointment window done yet? Well no. Then call back after it's past and no one shows up. Worthless. Call again after the window passes, I'm on hold for 10 minutes, same lady answers and tells us the service person will call. 20 more minutes he calls to tell us he never had a ticket with us. Now I have to wait until Monday for THEM to call ME back, most likely to wait another week for an appt. Nothing during the week of course because they have banker's hours and it costs time and a half for anything after 5pm, you know, when most people are home and available. The available 24 hours is a lie, anything outside of banker's hours will cost you an arm and a leg. Worthless. Save yourself time and frustration, find another company.
