I have used the services from Chicagoland Quality Plumbing a number of times. I used to own a condo and they did work there before I sold it. I now own a home and they have done work here numerous times. I can't stress enough how pleasant it is to work with this company. They are responsive, prompt, highly professional, very reasonable in price, great plumbers with years of experience, and best of all, get the work done correctly. A drain in my basement was draining slowly and the p-trap of the drain appeared to be broken. I called the plumber in to dig up the floor around the drain and put in a new pipe with a p-trap. They dug up the pipe and found some problems with the connection to the sewer. They had to do more extensive repairs than first suspected. They completed the job in a day and a half and the price came in higher than the estimate but about what I expected given the additional work. The basement floor was restored with a layer of concrete around the new drain cover.

Edwin has been one of the most professional, capable, kind and honest service contractors we’ve used since becoming homeowners! His willingness to problem solve some strange plumbing choices made by the previous owners of our vintage bungalow has helped us solve some kitchen issues and upgrade to a new dishwasher that now drains and works properly! We’ve had various plumbing issues in our building over the years and tried a few different plumbing companies. When the main water line coming in to our building sprung a leak, we weren’t able get any of the plumbing companies that we had used before to come out fast enough. That’s when we found Edwin at Chicagoland Quality Plumbing. After Edwin fixed our leak, I started talking with him about some of the other plumbing issues in our old building and in my unit. Coincidentally, my unit on the ground floor was just starting to be rehabbed, and the contractor couldn’t find a plumber. I asked Edwin if he was interested in the work and he was. That started an 8 month project where he repaired and improved our main sewer and sanitation lines, added an outdoor hose spigot, did the rough ins for my bathroom remodels, removed and replaced a bathtub, water heater, 2 toilets, garbage disposal, and all faucets and fixtures. I found Edwin to be very responsive and professional, and the work he did was good quality, just like the name of his business. He stands behind his work and charged a fair price. I would highly recommend him.

Chicagoland Quality Plumbing is amazing. I highly recommend them. They are professional and know what they're doing. I called 4 other plumbers before I could find someone who could install my Aquasana Whole House water filtration system. Edwin was not only knowledgeable, but he was also professional, efficient and creative. When I say creative, I mean that he had to work around the challenges of my 120 year old house to fit the pipes properly. In the end he did a great job and he took the time to show me how to use it properly.

Edwin was very polite and professional, but I feel used. He did not quote me any price, but I trusted him because he had good reviews. When he was finished, he went to his truck to write up the bill. I was astonished that he charged me $475. I should at least have questioned it, but, he knew he had me. The he said he couldn't take credit cards, so, I wrote him a check, which he very promptly cashed. He alone was at my house for as hour and a half. He used a small electric auger, and my electricity, a small piece of PVC pipe, which he attached with a metal ring. I don't think he was worth $300. + per hour.

We have been using Chicagoland Quality Plumbing services for approximately four years and found him through our Angie's List membership. We own 3 rental properties and Edwin has repaired leaks, installed dishwashers and water lines(for both kitchen sinks and washer units), replaced toilet wax rings and unclogged drains over the past four years for us. The service that we indicated as not listed is definitely worth mentioning as it turned out to be a big job. We called Edwin because we noticed a leak coming from our basement ceiling. Upon his inspection he not only told us that he suspected the main drain line in our 3 story building was leaking. He provided us with a plan for the best way to pinpoint where the drain was leaking behind the 3 apartment walls and once it was located how he would make the repair. Long story short, with Edwin's experience, where he ended up opening the kitchen wall turned out was within 3 feet of the eroded main drain line. Edwin and Roberto removed a section of 100 year old drain pipe and then replaced it. What Edwin charged us for this two day, two man job was reasonable. His work is top notch and we always find that his prices are very reasonable that's why we always call Edwin and we hope that he is not planning on retiring any time soon :)

Edwin replaced a whole-house water filter and two faucets. He was extremely responsive when we initially called, and even came by the same day to give us an estimate for the work. He came the following week to do the work and showed up on time - he even called to tell us he was on his way. It seemed like he did everything the way he would in his own home. He was careful and diligent. One of the faucets he replaced was old and corroded and was difficult to remove but he did a beautiful job with everything. We're extremely please with his work. He's also a very nice person. We will definitely call him for any future plumbing needs.

Chicagoland Quality Plumbing Inc Informed me after feeding a camera down my main sewer that my main line from my house and the sewer line from the city had separated causing sewage back up into my home. Edwin unclogged my sewer line and recommend adding a sewer clean out on the outside of my home. He was knowledgeable, very professional, and confirmed the issue causing my problem before making his recommendations. I highly recommend this company. Id give more stars if I was able to.

This is an excelent plumber, i initially hired someone else who could not get the job done. I found Chicagoland Plumbing through recommendation within the industry. Edwin went above and beyond working for 6 hours to clear a clog in what turned out to be a bad connection at our second floor unit in a typical greystone. Its been working well ever sense and we will be following all maintenance recommendations. Bad service. No one ever seems to answer. I called for an Emergency and got no answer. Don't say you're a 24 hour Emergency if you're not available to do the job at anytime. Better off calling a local guy that is willing to do the job for a fair price.
