Rescue Plumbing recently helped us when our kitchen faucet started leaking. Rick and his colleague were very professional and honest. We thought we would have to replace our entire faucet but Rick was able to fix our existing faucet which was great. We were impressed by how knowledgeable he was on our existing Hansgrohe faucet as well as the backup Delta faucet we purchased (in case it needed to be replaced). Highly recommend Rescue Plumbing!

Javier was amazing! We had a blockage in our pipes and it turned out they were filled with tree roots! He worked tirelessly to clear out the roots from our pipes in order to repair our issue. Our shower was clogged and the first plumbers we called brushed us off. Rescue Plumbing responded same day and was here in a few hours. Javier is awesome, had that drain working in no time at all. Awesome company and super amazing service. Any plumbing issue you have call them now!

Rescue Plumbing is an amazing pluming service that I would 100% recommend! We were having pressure issues with one sink and thought we had a leak. Javier and Remy came out the same day and were very communicative about when they would be arriving. After we walked them through the issue we were having they figured out we didn’t have a leak and just had a blockage in the faucet head. They talked us through the problem, showed us how they fixed it, and told us what other issues may arise in the future so we know what to look out for and how to fix those. So thankfully we didn’t end up having a major issue and I’m so happy that now we have a plumber we can feel confident calling in the future.

Pete was very professional and honest. He did not try to oversell us on a fix, but only gave us the service we needed. The team was persistent in fixing our drain - and they were very patient in dealing with us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Rescue Plumbing really impressed me with its customer service. First, they dispatched a team to address our toilet issue on the day I called for assistance. Our toilet reeked from seepage at the bottom. Logan and Kevin of Rescue Plumbing came within a couple of hours and within the estimated window of time provided to me. Second, Logan did a fantastic job helping me understand the problem and the fix that had to be done along with the cost estimate breakdown. On the spot, they did the job with a high level or professionalism, efficiency, and customer focus. I'm writing this after the day of service to verify that the problem has been really addressed. Yup, all good. Now I have a go-to team and company for plumbing services.

From the initial phone call, to the estimate of cost, to the installation of our new hot water heater- Flexible Plumbing Service was fantastic! They offered to come out the same day I called, have a technician diagnose our problem and give us a detailed estimate right there. Evan-our technician, was pleasant, informative, knowledgeable and efficient. I called Titan at 1:30 pm and had a new water heater installed by 6:30 p.m. the same day! The other plumber I called couldn't come out for 2 more days. Needless to say, the next time I need a plumber will certainly be my first call.

Fred and Javier came out to replace our sump pump. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They didn't cut corners, and took their time with what they needed to. Fred also gave me pointers on what to do and watch for to prevent the new one from going out as well. It was a pleasure working with these guys, would highly recommend

Javier came over, same day, and fixed our water heater. We had been told by another plumber that we needed to replace it asap or wait 10 days for a part. We may still need to replace the water heater but, it is working now, and we have time to decide which type of water heater to install next (tankless vs traditional). Javier and his assistant Jeremy were both incredibly professional and helped fix two other shower heads during their time here. Great service and very knowledgeable!

I cannot recommend Rescue Plumbing enough. I had water coming down from the basement ceiling on Christmas Day. Javier came out and was fantastic. He was right on time, quickly found and fixed the issue, explained everything thoroughly, and answered all my questions. I will definitely be calling Rescue Plumbing for any future needs.

I called Rescue to my home to replace a failing water heater. Vincent came out to look at the problem and provided a detailed estimate for their work. The installation was professionally done and the work was competed on time and on budget. Before leaving I asked Vincent to look at the shower valve in our upstairs master bath. Even though the part was over 25 years old Vincent found a replacement control to install and added shut off valves accessible from the backside of the shower in our closet. I would use Vincent and Rescue again and would heartily recommend them others.

I've used Rescue Plumbing twice now, once for an emergency and once to fix some minor issues. Javier was knowledgable and helpful diagnosing the issues I was experiencing. Richard was able to work quickly to resolve the problem. I'm so glad Rescue Plumbing hires quality people. Oh and they arrived on time! Bonus!

Pete at Rescue had great customer service and talked to me like I was a professional even though I’m just a handyman that appreciates keeping my building as well as my property up-to-date and in service. He recommended a restoration company owned by the same gentleman that I hope I can use. Generous with this time and knowledge, Victor was also an excellent partner.

Pete and Noah did an amazing job clearing a clog in my shower drain. They removed debris that would have caused issues to my plumbing long term. They were knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with.

Mr Javier Gutierrez did an efficient and speedy job. He was able to install a shower filter without hassles in less than 30 mins and they had same day appointment which makes it so convenient. The only issue I find about the company is that their services are way too overpriced but other than that their plumbers are reliable and good at what they do.

Called them first thing in the morning to have a toilet valve repaired in our commercial warehouse. Javier the plumber was out within 1 hour and provided excellent service and was very informative. Will definitely be using again if the need arises and will ask for Javier by name.

Dex and Brian came out on a holiday weekend and spent 2+ days with us clearing sewer lines to resolve a backup issue. Dex did a great job clearly explaining the work that needed to be done and sticking to the timeline he provided for completion. Not cheap - but you get what you pay for and they are an emergency plumbing service. Really bailed us out - thanks again!

Rick and his partner are absolutely my heroes. I just moved into a new home in West Ridge 10 days ago, and am no one's idea of a plumbing expert. Of course an immediate, and unusually old and nasty clog was discovered in my bathtub, rendering it essentially unusable.

Rick was there in less than 24 hours, exactly as scheduled and spent 3.5 hours of his time, used every tool in his belt and undoubtedly saved me thousands in addition troubleshooting and maintenance costs (and tears). He was direct, clear and stubborn in the best way in making sure an old problem, in an old house, was fixed for a stressed new owner. I would recommend this service - and this particular team - every time.

Dex is the BEST! We have called on Rescue Plumbing and Dex several times now, and he will always be my go to. We had pipes freeze over the Christmas holiday, and he responded immediately, several times, to repair and replace pipes. We also had to have our sewer repaired and several underground pipes replaced. Rescue is always fast and responsive; their teams are communicative and reliable. I appreciate they take the time to answer all our questions and are very straightforward with everything. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Rescue Plumbing. I went downstairs around 5 PM to find the floor covered in water (and it wasn't after a big rain either). I called for an emergency plumber, and Dex arrived a few hours later to save the day. He walked in and immediately knew that my sump pump needed replaced. He and his co-worker -- who I did not catch the name of, apologies! -- were both spectacular. Super helpful, knowledgable, and made me feel I was in good hands. As a new-ish homeowner, Rescue Plumbing is now my go-to! What a relief!

Absolutely awesome and honest company. Had them out to look at some questionable-looking plumbing I uncovered when redoing my bathroom. They measured the slope of the drain pipes and adjusted them so that everything would go the right direction, and didn't try to upsell me on anything. Will definitely call them for any other plumbing problem.

Javier and team were great to work with. He was prompt, gave us a quote on site, and was ready to work once we gave him the go ahead. What I appreciated the most was that he articulated what the issue was and provided education/preventative measures so we don't run into this issue again. As they were packing and leaving I asked him to take a look at our garbage disposal and plumbing layout under our sink as another plumber told us that we had to replace the whole plumbing, get a new disposal, and snake the drain. Within 5 minutes, he was able to fix our garbage disposal and no new plumbing set up was needed! I would recommend them to anyone who has any plumbing needs! Fair and trustworthy.

I called late last night in desperate need for a plumber at my condo. I attempted to fix something my self and feared I had made it worse. They quickly scheduled me for the very next day! Pete and Noah arrived and were very polite, efficient, and helpful. They explained what they did and why, which I much appreciated! I highly recommend this team and they will be my go to plumbers going forwards.

We had a leak under our kitchen sink (from a broken O ring) and needed it fixed as soon as possible. The plumbing company we usually have do repair work was not available for 7 days and we didn't want to wait that long! Rescue Plumbing was a referral from our building manager. They came out the very next day - so great job on responsiveness and thank you! The first guys that came out from Rescue stated that pipe configuration underneath the sink was not up to code and they could not guarantee the work. Our building engineer had to get involved and let them know all of the units in our 1931 building are set up like this and please just replace the O ring. They told us it would be $245 as it's the minimum amount they could charge for a visit. It seemed odd as the scheduler didn't mention this and also on the high side (I was thinking $200 at most) but we were grateful that we could get it fixed so quickly. They were in and out within a half hour and checked to ensure it was not leaking. After we got past that we would not be having them get our unit's pipes up to code they warmed up and were really friendly. Unfortunately, their work did not hold. The next morning as I'm doing dishes in the kitchen sink, I check and now we have two leaks vs one. I'm not sure what they did or didn't do, but I was highly concerned since we had paid a hefty price to fix one leak and now....we have TWO! I called and requested different plumbers from their company to please come out and fix both leaks! Fred and Emmanuel who came out to fix the first team's mess up are the reason Rescue Plumbing is getting 5 stars. They called within the 2 hour window to let me know they were running behind on another project and to see if they could still come by since it would be later. This was so respectful of our evening and I appreciated being kept in the loop with their eta. They listened to our experience from the previous day with their colleagues and were not defensive at all. They confirmed that our pipes were not configured properly but did not try to sell or shame us into fixing them. They fixed BOTH leaks and switched out our PVC elbow with a metal one and did not charge us. They thoroughly tested for leaks and there are NONE! They arrived after 6pm and had professional and friendly attitudes after what I'm sure had been a long day for both of them. They were efficient but it didn't feel rushed or like they were trying to get their day over with.....they really are great at what they do and seem to LOVE it. Thank you Fred and Emmanuel for taking a frustrating situation and turning it into a WIN for us! We hope not to need a plumber for awhile, but will ask for you two when we do!

Javier has come out three times now for separate issues that have come up. Each time he has come one time, had a good attitude, and left me feeling more comfortable and provided useful information to help me understand the issue. All the fixes he has performed have left the sinks/toilets in better shape than before and now additional issues since. He has gone above and beyond to make sure we are doing the right thing to solve the problem. Any issue that comes up in the future I know I'll go to Javier!

Javier and his associate came to help us remove a drain snake that got stuck in our back sewer drain that we could not remove. They got the job done in minutes. Also gave advice about general maintenance and how to keep the drain clear. They we nice and answered ever question I had for them. Definitely will use them again if we ever need anything.

I had a major problem with a toilet leaking into the basement. Rescue Plumbing was able come out and fix an issue I was told previously was not fixable. These guys rock. I had a toilet leaking from the base with each flush. I had previously tried to reseat the toilet but the problem came back. Victor Cruz from rescue plumbing was able to fix it quickly and effectively. He leveled parts of the floor, replaced bolts and wax rings, and the leak has not returned for several days now. I would recommend Victor Cruz or rescue plumbing in general.

This is my second time using Rescue Pluming and working with Pete Ismail and highly recommend him. This time is was for a toilet and got the same great service as I did last time. Was able to come the day of the issue.

Needed the valve replaced on the shower faucet handle. $40 in parts and $545 for labor. When I called to question I was told there was an “input error” and they knocked $100 off. When I questioned further I was told they were waiving the fee all together and to not call them for any other services. Yikes. Was just looking for some reasonings on why labor was so expensive, especially after finding out the $40 part was standard issue and in stock on the plumbers truck. I wasn’t home during the visit but noticed on my security cameras the plumber was here for just over 22 minutes.

We had a clogged toilet we needed fixed ASAP. Within two hours of contacting Rescue Plumbing, Rick and Rigo arrived, and in under 15 minutes they resolved the issue and provided great service and information. I should also note that when I mentioned someone in our household is immunocompromised, they didn't hesitate to put masks on. We really appreciate the fast and excellent work!

Overdue review but they replaced my water heater back in the fall and they were excellent. Came on time, explained everything, transparent cost, cleaned up!! Great experience. Will use again.

Our laundry tub faucet was dripping and we couldn't seem to stop it. The tub, faucet, and surrounding pipes were really old, and we didn't want to risk a more serious leak. After getting a quote from another plumber that I believed was unreasonable, I wanted to get a second opinion and called Rescue Plumbing. They sent over Fred and Nate, who gave me a free estimate and more thoroughly diagnosed the problem. I went ahead with Rescue Plumbing and they scheduled repairs for a couple of days later. Fred and Nate were professional, courteous, explained everything clearly, and did great work. They replaced the laundry tub, faucet, and surrounding pipes. Everything has been working perfectly for the past 3 weeks (no drips). Also, all of my interactions with the administrative team (the folks answering phones and scheduling appointments) were positive and easy. Would definitely use this company again.

Discovered we had a sewer pipe blockage on Saturday morning and called them up given their good rating. Victor and Sam were awesome. The ejector pump in our new home had reached the end of its life and needed to be replaced. They arrived on time and did quick, clean work. They even went above and beyond and tested the new ejector pump to ensure it was work and went it was not working properly immediately got a replacement and ensure it functioned properly. They also tested our sump pump to ensure that is working before leaving.

This is the third time within a year Dex has been able to come (the day of) to help resolve our backup issues. Today him and Sam were able to quickly clean up our sewage back up and realize an even bigger industrial problem that has been causing the various sewage back up we have been experiencing. We learned the hard way that your sewer line needs to be rodded annually, as root growth into our line has caused a backup twice. Chicago Rescue Plumbing helped us out both times, including when we had tenants in the home last time. We appreciated the team of Pete and Noah coming out again to run a camera through the line and do more intensive rodding and inspection. Pete was very generous with his time and explanations, including showing me how the equipment works and identifying areas they will keep an eye on. They explained the problems and solutions well, and we are glad they will be able to care for our clay sewer pipes with ongoing maintenance. We hope to not need them for emergency services again, and are glad to be on their calendar now for ongoing proactive maintenance.

I called because I could hear water dripping and needed diagnosis. Getting an appointment was easy and Victor and Omar came on time. Victor quickly determined that one problem was my very old hot water heater and also checked inside the wall in the area where I could hear the water dripping. It turned out that the water heater was the entire problem. They replaced it that day and were neat and efficient.

We recently revamped our main bathroom, installing all new floor and shower tile, a new shower door and a new vanity. We called Rescue Plumbing to have someone come by and reconnect all our pipes and install the new shower and sink fixtures, and we had a great experience. When we first called Rescue Plumbing for help - there was a mistake with our appointment details that caused a delay in our appointment and then no solution to our kitchen sink being fixed. However - Benjamin the owner listened to our experience and immediately apologized and ensured that its not the norm for them. They came out ASAP, rodded pipe and managed to remove clog (thanks to the individual in the building using kitchen sink to do hair…yuck). Kitchen sink is now draining properly and good to go!! Had another company working on a condo building leak for a month and they couldn’t identify the problem. With one call in one morning, Pete and Izzy came out for an exploratory visit and a few hours later had identified the problem, fixed the leak, and helped establish a plan moving forward including contacting another company who is the next step of the process. I can’t overstate how professional and thorough the guys were today. Highly recommend.

Pete and Noah were responsive in getting our kitchen back in working order after our dishwasher flooded. They hooked all appliances back up for us and were very responsive throughout the process, and showed up on time to perform the work even in a snow storm. Would recommend.

We had Dex and his partner come out for an estimate and they were clearly very uncomfortable with our dog, which I completely understand because he’s a pretty big dog. I just wish they had let us know before they came inside so we could have prepared better and had him either moved to a different room or taken him out of the house. We used Rescue Plumbing for a rusted-on leaky sink strainer. They were able to come out the very next day, which was great. Our water heater was not producing enough hot water and I called Rescue around 9AM Tuesday and was told that they would send a crew that morning. Jay and Sam came around 11:30 and we discussed my issue. We've used another plumber for a year but they were unavailable when our water heater exploded. We called Rescue Plumbing and Vince came out in a couple hours, did a great job and got our house back on track. They also discovered a bunch of bad pipe issues and leaks we didn't see with the other plumbers. They came back out a couple days later and re-piped our whole basement quickly but professionally. Overall, great experience with Rescue Plumbing! They arrived within the scheduled time window and completed the repair on our kitchen faucet very quickly. Pete and his son came around to my condo this afternoon, and they were awesome! Very professional but also incredibly kind and easy to talk to. Pete was very thorough in his explanations and made us feel included throughout his inspection of the issue. We had initially thought that the unit above us had had a leak with their bath tub, which then traveled down through the floor to cause bubbling in my bathroom ceiling, but Pete was able to assess the problem very quickly - It was actually a result of the last heavy snow creating excess water which leaked through the exterior wall.

Our sewage ejector pump broke and Mario showed up within 30 minutes of us calling to save the day! He was very friendly and helped talk us through our options before heading in to quickly fix the mess. Will definitely be keeping Rescue Plumbing on speed dial.

I do not recommend. Upon arriving for our emergency call, the plumber that came said we had to cut some drywall to get to the drain pipe, and he would have to cut the pipe, then would rod it, all for the very high price of $2300. And he couldn't do it that night, because it would take 4 hours. (almost $600 an hour?) We thought the price was too high, and questioned the need to cut drywall since the drain was accessible from under the sink. I believe his nomenclature was the same as a famous Nintendo character. So I called a different company the next day and the guy came right out and did the job for $495, in less than 2 hours and they didn't have to cut a pipe or drywall.

My fiancé called to get an estimate on wax seal replacement underneath the toilet in our condo, as we were concerned about leaking into the unit downstairs. Not only were they able to come out and do an estimate promptly, they were able to fit us into the schedule the same day AND provide all the necessary license and insurance paperwork to our high rise’s building management quickly. When a different issue arose with water pressure after the fact, they came back quickly and worked to resolve that issue as well. We would recommend their services again in a heartbeat.

I was quoted $600 in labor to replace a toilet and $300 in labor for replacing a toilet valve which is beyond egregious. I sent the guys home and had both toilets repaired and other work done by a general handyman same day for $160. These guys think they can charge more than lawyers and doctors to fix toilets - save your time and find a more honest company to do your work.

Sam & Rick were awesome! They were timely, accommodating, and they got me exactly what I needed. Instead of installing the cheap replacement faucet that I bought at Home Depot with zero guidance, they pointed me in the better direction of getting the exact replacement part for the faucet I had, which they were able to do so quickly. Though a little on the pricier side I think their hassle free service was worth it.

My bathtub was backed up pretty bad, so I call Rescue Plumbing. Pete and Noah were supremely helpful and friendly. While they did what they could to unclog the drain, there were deeper plumbing issues that would eventually need to be dealt with. Pete took the time to walk me through the whole process, showed me (both from my unit and the basement) what parts needed to be replaced, and even gave a brief history lesson on how my pipes could’ve gotten so bad in the first place!

We were given a 2 hour window. But then the curtains parted (bad window joke), and Pete was courteous enough to call and communicate their actual time of arrival! Humanity points: 1,000!

Speaking of... the warmth and professionalism these guys contain is instantaneously recognizable. And Pete’s positive confidence and knowledge was crazy reassuring!

Like how he knew as soon as he walked in, that the pipes in our bathroom are over 100 years old. Which meant that he knew instantly how our plumbing was set up, how to approach working on it, and also any potential obstacles. All things that he honestly and concisely shared with us. Which is kind of everything imo.

Pete also patiently answered all of our questions to make sure we were all on the same page before he and Noah started working.

Honestly at first, given the Covid world we’re all in, I was like a little ‘meh’ having two strangers come into our environment. But as soon as we started talking to Pete, it became obvious that the quietly professional Noah, was obviously there to make everything more efficient for both him and also for us.

They both came in, stayed in the work space; wore masks in and out of the workspace to keep everyone safe; kept the door closed to minimize noise and keep everyone safe; and worked surprisingly quickly and effectively to declog a drain that I’m pretty sure the tenants before us had never declogged!

Afterwards Pete showed us what the problem was, let us know the conditions of the pipes in regards to any future needs, and basically reassured us that we shouldn’t have any more clogging problems in the foreseeable future.

Pete and Noah from Rescue Plumbing were nothing short of amazing. The sewage extraction pump in my condo unit died and we had 2 of sewage that had flooded our unit. I called Rescue Plumbing late in the afternoon and within 45 minutes Pete and Noah arrived. They immediately diagnosed the problem gave me a fair quote and replaced the failed pump with a new unit. This was all done in under two 2 hours time. The guys even helped us clean up the mess that the failed pump had caused. I cannot recommend Rescue Plumbing highly enough. These guys did exactly what the name says, rescued us from a horrible plumbing nightmare.

This week we had a series of plumbing disasters (flooded basement, water heater replacement, and leak from ceiling). We worked with and talked to many different plumbing companies, but when it came to fixing the leak in our ceiling, Vince Kovac and Rescue Plumbing, went above and beyond. Vince came after a restoration company and noticed that they had not done a very good job and had not in fact opened up our ceiling like they said they would. In order to save us money and look out for our babies’ health, he offered to come back after the company corrected their mistake. When it was too late in the day to come back, he offered to come back the next day (his day off). He was able to quickly and efficiently identify and solve the issue. After going through multiple plumbers and 3 days of leaking from our ceiling, Vince was in and out in under 30 minutes. Rescue plumbing will now be our go-to plumbers!

After my husband tried to fix our loose faucet, we ultimately needed a professional. He arranged for Rescue plumbing to come over, and they (Pete and Noah) arrived early, which was great for us! They were friendly, very helpful (only teasing my husband a little for probably making the problem worse - haha!!), and clearly explained the issue. They had the parts we needed on hand, and even had an extra part dropped off to get the job done. We’ve been happy with their work since, and things are absolutely better than before they came!! I was in the process of doing a bathroom remodel and part of the project was to remove the existing tub so I can install a new shower pan. Prior to the shower pan installation I needed to replace the existing tub drain with one that can accommodate a shower. With the replacement of the drain a previous plumber had installed an incorrect drain which wouldn’t work with the new shower pan.

Pete Ismail and his partner were genuinely great to work with. They quoted me a price upfront, and didn't exceed it. The cost was higher than I expected ($395 for stacked washer+gas steam dryer install), but I'd happily pay it again in retrospect.

There were several spots where they could have cut a corner (eg re-using the worn out valves or leaving the excess ducting), but instead Pete took the time to explain them so I would recognize specifics next time.

When the plumber I initially recommended couldn't get out there for days, I then called Rescue Plumbing midday and was told that they could have someone out there around 4pm. I was happy with that, but then 10 min later I received a call from Pete and he informed me that he could actually be there in 10 min! He was great right from the start. Came in, assessed the situation, was professional, helpful and so responsive. He was able to go through all possible scenarios with our problem and helped guide us with our next actions. Pete and Noah identified and explained the issue to me - showing me what happened and what they proposed for a fix. Pete and Noah had the pipes replaced and fixed in no time so I had them look at my problematic toilet as well. They fixed that as well. Peter and Noah did a great job being on time and answering all of my plumbing questions. We are first time home buyers so we are a little lost when it comes to issues in the home. These guys are GREAT. The intake pipe on our water heater froze over, causing a pressure switch error. Rick helped me figure out how to trouble shoot over the phone, and as a result I paid nothing at all. I will absolutely call them again in the future when we have a real repair to do.

Rick and Eric helped me unclogged a sink and clear out our grease trap last year and they were just here to fix one of my leaky faucet. They were both very helpful and professional. Pete Ismail and his son from Rescue Plumbing Inc. were the only plumbers creative enough to tackle our unique kitchen sink pipe drain repair. We have a kitchen sink installed over a radiator and the plumbing that was there was leaking and not normal to say the least. Two other plumbers were contacted first and their only advice was to move our sink or move our radiator. Pete had a great idea on what we could do to fix the drain pipes and bring it code with out moving or replacing the existing sink. We now have brand new drain pipes and trap under the sink that work great. We could not be more happy and grateful with their excellent work on our old houses plumbing!

We reached out to Rescue Plumbing to look into an interior wall drip that we started hearing recently and wanted to ensure was not a larger leak or pipe issue. Rescue Plumbing was not only able to accommodate a next day appointment to evaluate the problem, but Loga was incredibly helpful in explaining what the cause of the drip sound may be and also overview potential solutions.

Loga was honest about what he believed the situation entailed and explained that we did not currently need to cut into the wall to investigate further. Rescue Plumbing was amazing to work with, specifically Dex. 5 out of 5 starts easily. My water heater began leaking on a Sunday. In a panic, I called Rescue Plumbing and Dex arrived within an hour. Pete and Noah did a great job of fixing a leaking copper pipe attached to the condenser of our furnace. What I originally believed was a small leak due to a poorly sealed joint between pipes, ended up being caused by a pipe corroding through. Pete and Noah quickly identified the issue and were able to strip out the existing pipes and replace them with new fittings. All of this was done in a small and inconvenient roof crawl space, which made the speed of the repair even more impressive. Overall, I would highly recommend them, and plan to use them again if we have any other issues!

There were old rusty died valves and faucets in a vintage building that needed to be replaced (and we asked to keep our old fashioned vanity). Cooperating with the water shut-down schedule, it took two hours of hard work, sometimes even using saws. This job definitely requires an experienced and professional plumber. Wow! These guys are great! My washing machine pipes were completely frozen on Sunday afternoon. I called Rescue Plumbing, and they came to my house in under 20 minutes and used their fancy equipment to warm up my pipes and get the water flowing again in like 30 min! They told me how to keep things from freezing again and even left me some hoses to keep the line dripping and open. They wore booties to keep my house clean and even cleared my floor drain to make sure everything would be ok before pouring water into it. Great service. They have a customer for life!

Well I have had three pipes burst in the last two months and every time Rescue has come out the experience has been really amazing. Today, Joey and Sam came out and went above and beyond. They explained everything I asked about, made recommendations without pressuring but just giving me my range of options. I used Rescue Plumbing to remove an old hot water tank from a second floor apartment and dispose of it, then replace it with a new one, which I had installed into the basement. They got the job done in one day. They worked very fast and was very knowledgeable, ( which is, of course a good thing when dealing with gas and water lines ). They provide me with the information of the warranty on the product that was purchased and letting me know to make sure to go online to apply for the warranty for garbage disposal . Pete (Ismail) and his apprentice, Noah did a great job at unclogging our kitchen garbage disposal. On time, professional but was a bit pricey ($400) for the service performed (run snake for 10 mins) which is the only reason I’d look elsewhere. Other than that, happy with the result.

I used Rescue Plumbing to install a gas line and vent for a dryer on the 2nd floor. They also helped me connect both, the washer and dryer, and made sure both were working before they left. They cleaned up when completed and it looked better after they left.

Additionally, I didn't have to ask them to wear boot covers since they came prepared and were already putting them on when I answered the door!

Great service and professionalism and will definitely be using them for any additional plumbing needs!

I was lucky enough to have two plumbing issues in the past month. Peet was great and fixed a burst pipe that was clogged with grease and Dex replaced my ejector pump after water backed up into my basement. They worked quickly, are experienced and were able to get to me within a few hours same day. I recommend.

Our water heater was leaking CO and we couldn't utilize our hot water until it was replaced. We originally reached out to a popular service in chicago but after 6hrs they hadn't found someone to assist with our emergency. Let’s start this review by saying that I created this problem because I thought I could play plumber. I broke the pipe upon which my bath spout fits.

I live in a high rise and was very concerned that any leaking would enter neighboring units and put me on the hook for many thousands of dollars. I emailed rescue plumbing based on their reviews and I could not be happier. The owner of the company called me with in 12 hours after I submitted the request late at night. He was willing to attempt giving me a quote over the phone with the obvious warning that things could change if the problem were something else.

His guys Pete and Paco showed up the next day, assessed the problem and got to work after reassuring me that everything was gonna be okay and that he could handle the job. They also patiently and kindly answered all of my million nervous questions. The walled me through the job told me exactly what they would do. As the plan changed a little bit, the updated me along the way.

Throughout all of this my building has a tendency to be very intolerant of contract work and as expected got very angry despite approval from my building engineer. Pete handled them like a champ. He talked on the phone with the engineer and handled our disgruntled security man with nothing but smiles, professionalism and class.

Even though the job was about $200 more than expected they told me this upfront and they were still hundredSSSSS of dollars cheaper than the guy I had assess the job before them. They were able to fix everything without removing tile and entering any other units or turning off water for my neighbors (which The Other Guys said they would need to).

Toilet replacement: Sam and partner came to give us a fair estimate, not the cheapest but reasonable. They were communicative and professional throughout the whole process in exchanging broken product with Home Depot and arriving to complete the job. The work area was clean after the installation. Detail instructions were given about the clear seal at the base.. The base seal went 70% around the toilet. Excellent company.

I live in single family 2 level 100 year old home in Northbrook. Due to the age of my home, the plumbing work here presents challenges. Frozen pipes. Rick was very helpful, personable, and knowledgeable. Identified difficulty with shutoff valve, used machine to thaw frozen pipes, and examined those pipes for damage. Luckily only damage was to my washer machine; still, he even helped me detail exactly what that problem was and to plan next steps for getting an appliance repair person.

Had a tenant flush paper towels into the toilet and it clogged my injector pump and water backup in the basement. I called Rescue Plumbing, who installed the pump 3 months earlier and they came out within 2 hours, found the problem and replaced the pump... The owner called me after the job and explained that the paper towels burned the pump and said he would allow a one time free of charge replacement! The only plumbers I'd use and highly recommend them!

I had Clayton and Ben out to change a valve that had corroded and began leaking. I was worried it would eventually completely fail and flood the area around our water heater and furnace. I also needed an out-of-code saddle valve tapping a water line for an unused humidifier removed per our inspection.

Woke up on a Sunday to my 100 year old building exacting revenge by flooding my bedroom. Turned out the drum trap was located in my closet. They came out same day and my shower is draining better than it ever has. They explained it’s not a permanent fix because of the building’s age. While I save up some money, I’ll definitely use them again when it’s time for the more heavy duty repair.

Colton came by and spent hours cracking the dry wall to source the leak. After moving some HVAC piping around, found the leak and addressed it ASAP. Excellent job and highly recommend! I’ll never forget him saying “Listen to me. It’s going to be okay.” in a calm manner while water spouted from my wall after this last Chicago polar vortex caused a burst pipe. He first expertly described the simple task of turn a red handle on my hot water heater to cut the flow then was out to fix the pipe so fast almost effortlessly. Cons: very expensive. They quoted me $1000 for each task (each takes less than 1 hour).
