My dad is in his 80s and realized his hot water heater was not working so he called Benjamin Franklin plumbing and they sent Bill out right away.My dad suffers from asbestosis, resulting from years of hard labor, is on oxygen and having life-threatening complications in the last several months. He was given a quote to replace the hot water heater and agreed to the price given. They started the work immediately.My mom called me as soon as she realized the price my dad had agreed to with concern that they were being overcharged. I spoke to the dispatcher and Bill The technician at my parents house and got a detailed explanation of services planned and a receipt of exactly what they were doing and the charges Associated with each item.I called around to two other plumbing agencies and received quotes over the phone based on the information provided by Bill and both quotes were $1100 less Than Benjamin Franklin‘s quote including Taxes, inspections, bringing things up to code, and any other potential miscellaneous charges that may be needed.I explained to Bill that my dad’s lack of oxygen and the fact that he’s not feeling well impairs his ability to think clearly and exert himself more than five minutes causing him to make impulsive decisions just to get tasks completed. I explained that I was the power of attorney and I felt that the charges were excessive and inquired what I could do to make things fair as the work had already begun. I explain to him that I had already spoken to my dad who told me that he had already given Bill his permission to start the work and agree to the price and Did not want to go back on his word and moral integrity that that entails. But as power of attorney I feel the responsibility is mine to advocate on behalf of my dad so I continued on with my inquiries and pursuit of getting my parents a fair deal. Bill told me that I would need to speak to his manager as he had nothing to do with the prices.I left a message with the manager an hour ago and have not heard back. I called back to my parents and my dad has already paid and Bill was gone leaving two other technicians there to finish the job. I would like to think That the people at Benjamin Franklin plumbing are reasonable and compassionate people and despite the fact that they had already been paid would have enough integrity and moral principles themselves to make this right.Bills rationale for the difference in price Was the superior customer service that would be available to them if problems should arise. But in my opinion it doesn’t matter And for that matter I would hope for $3800 there would be no problems but if there were, for another thousand dollars, They could pay any plumber to come fix any problems that may occur and the money and decision should be parents choice to make how they handle, not paid in advance in case there’s problems?I wonder if the manager will call me back?

All Hours Plumbing deserves more than 5 stars. Im not a review good or bad kind of person but I have to give Brett and his guys a pat on their backs. Hot water heater went out at 10am Thurs morning, by 12:30 that afternoon Johnny was out to diagnose the problem and give me a quote to replace my 15 year old water heater. I called Thurs evening to let them know I wanted to ahead with the replacement and they had it replaced with all new tank,piping,fittings etc by 11am on Friday. Very impressive,professional,fast, and competent company and staff. THANKS AGAIN ALL HOURS PLUMBING.?????

This is my second time calling Charlotte Plumbing Masters for work at my home. Both times, the technicians arrived on-time. If they can get there earlier they will call you and let you know that they are on there way. They come in covid ready with masks and booties and get right to the problem. They spoke with my home warranty company, got the approval and did the job on the spot. The technicians were neat and clean with their work. I have since recommended them to a client of mine.

On a friend’s’ recommendation I put in for a quote from Wonderful World via Google and received a call within an hour. After some negotiation(very responsive via text) I was scheduled for the next day a short 14 hours later. Damion had no trouble answering any questions around brands, pricing, etc. which was important to me. They came in well under the big players.

They showed up on time. Knocked out all requested work in short order, answered a few extra questions for me, cleaned up after themselves, and were generally pleasant and professional. Small companies can definitely be hit or miss, this one is a gem.

I had a great experience! I called today and they had a plumber at my door in about 30 minutes. I had a leak from a kitchen sink pipe, 2 clogged bathroom sinks, and a toilet that wouldn't flush properly. In less than 1.5 hours, he had all things repaired and working better than ever. Professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I will definitely be calling them from now on when I need plumbing services.

Ultimate Plumbing & Repair came out to our home last week to take care of a backed up kitchen sink. We used to discard leftover food down the disposal but they mentioned that this is not the best thing to do. Softer foods like potatoes and rice can back up the drain. The First Lady I talked to was very professional.She gave great details on what to expect from the company once tech arrives. They would give a break down of all work before doing anything. This was not done and tech came the max 15mins chaulked area and told my wife what he did and left. I called wife thinking company was on the way to check out the issue. She explained to me they came and gone. I reached out to the company second lady answering the phone told me how professional the tech were. I was asking over and over what did they see how did they repair it..At the end my basement flooded because of the poor repair by this company.

Plumbing Connections had a plumber to my home quickly. He repaired the problem for an extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.
