Best General Repairs in Charlotte NC

Fantastic service from Kim. I placed a call for service to my gas logs and he was there the next day. Quickly diagnosed the problem. But he took the time to ask me how the logs/gas had been behaving, what I had observed etc. Parts were ordered and my logs are better than new, just 2 days later. Great customer service, great attitude. So happy we found Benjamin Franklin Heating & Air, but I'll know to ask for Kim. :)

I called this company because I had issues with water in my tub and coming from the floor of my bathroom toilet. Along with other companies called, I decided to go with them because the rep on the phone said they we very honest people and do not charge for services that were not needed. This was their pitch for charging hourly vs flat rate. Seemed to make sense so I had them come out.
Now what did I actually get for my money? A whole bunch of nothing and a huge waste of time.
The plumber showed up at 2:50pm and had difficulty locating my sewage drain so he could snake it out. Mind you, he took the time out to view my neighbors yards and where their sewage drains were located. The sewage is also marked on the concrete, so finding it should have been all of 10 minutes. But, no....it took him 1 hour and 15 minutes to find the drain.
After he finally found it and popped open the drain, he informed me that this is a city issue and I should have called them, not the plumbing company. He also informed me that I would be charged for the full time he was there, even though some of the time he was smoking, walking in neighbors yards, and calling his office to get someone else to come help him look for the drain.
As you can imagine, I was upset to find that I had to pay almost $200 for him to do absolutely nothing. He did offer to snake the drain for me since he was already there, and since I still had the plumbing issues. I figured, why not? If I HAVE to pay him, at least I'd make him WORK for it. So, 25 minuteslater he tells me that his snake isn't long enough and that the city has to come do it afterall. Awesome!! What CAN this company actually do, besides rip people off?
So, as he is packing up getting ready to leave, I go inside and write the check for the time he was there. But wait....there's more. I'm hit with an additional 15 minute charge, which is right around $37, for his drive time!! WHAT???? This was never mentioned to me when I called in with my issue, nor was it brought up when he arrived. I went back inside and wrote another check. At this point, I just wanted this guy and his company GONE!!!

PLEASE, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND GET A DIFFERENT PLUMBER!!!!

I have had to use a plumber before for this same issue and not only did they locate the drain in less time, but they were able to snake the drain, pack up, and be gone in less time than these theives took to do a bunch of nothing. I will NEVER use this company again!

I had a leaky pipe and was contacting several plumbers to get estimates and timing. When I spoke with Brian, I told him I had another company coming out later that day so I didn't want to waste his time but wanted to get an idea of what the costs would be. He quoted the costs over the phone but also offered to stop by after the job he was on to take a look at it even though he knew I had a company coming to find the leak for free. When I met him, I was impressed with his professionalism and helpfulness. The other company called to say they were on their way so Brian left. As soon as the other company showed up, I knew their advertisement had been a scam so I sent them away and called Brian to see if he was still available. He was and came back and did the job. I was impressed with how well he protected my property while doing his job. When done, there were no cost surprises. Everything was done as originally quoted and he cleaned everything up after his work. I was pleased with his service.

I loved that he gave me an estimate over the phone. I wasn't going to hold them to the price but was at least looking for ballpark numbers. I called 8 other plumbing companies who wouldn't provide any type of pricing over the phone. The other companies would, however, give me the price it cost to buy an estimate. I didn't want to be on the hook for an $89 dollar visit fee only to find out the repairs were going to cost twice as much as the next company which is why I wanted some idea of cost before sending someone out.

Kevin with Charlotte Plumbing & Repair, Inc was able to give me an estimate over the phone, come to my house next day, and complete the repairs timely. He let me know what the price would be for two wax ring replacements - which is all I wanted to know - and made sure to let me know he would inform me of pricing for any additional repairs, if needed. After he visited, no additional repairs were needed, and the price given over the phone was almost exact. Highly recommend! Thanks, Kevin!

A/C guys said we had a water leak so we called Precision Plumbing, they came to check it out and said very simple fix. Also said welcome to the area and enjoy your new home. HONEST, prompt, and courteous. Truly how a business should be run. Thanks Taylor B.

Excellent overall customer service by Ward Plumbing. Was very impressed by the quality work done by Gary’s (great guy) son Jared & his right hand man, William (aka Chalky). Jared & Chalky not only went above & beyond in regards to the superb skills in dealing with a complex water heater issue but also couldn’t have been more personable, polite, and patient in doing the job the right way. You could tell they obviously care greatly about giving the best possible service at the best possible price. Ward Plumbing is the way to go!!!

Very good experience, they helped replace a faucet. It being a holiday time, they were nice enough to accommodate us within a day’s time and the service was fast and very professional and the lowest quote I received...Would definitely go with them for our next plumbing need.

I had a leak in the main water line from the street to my home. After getting three quotes I decided on Service Pro Plumbing. They came out one afternoon and within 24 hours the utilities were located, the line was dug up, and the repair was made. Also even though the line was two and a half feet underground very little damage was done to my yard. I highly recommend Service Pro and will use them in the future for my plumbing needs.
