Matt has been nothing but great. He is responsive and flexible with your schedule.He is also friendly, professional and does great work. We have a home warranty plan that isn't easy to work with and Matt takes the time to talk to them on the phone to make sure the claim is covered. i would highly recommend him in any circumstance.

Matthew is such a nice guy! Last week, my boyfriend and I purchased a sofa from a store in the University area and Matthew noticed we were having trouble fitting the sofa in our car, so he graciously offered to help! He loaded the sofa in the bed of his truck and followed us home and helped us carry it upstairs as well. We will definitely be giving him a call if we ever need home repairs!

Great work at a great price! If you’re in need of a handyman with FAST turn time and fair pricing, THIS IS YOUR GUY! Go ahead, shop around like I did and chances are you’ll be revisiting handyman before your search is through. Also, I should mention that I called him on a Sunday morning and he showed up that afternoon and and came back out on 11/21 (day before Thanksgiving), both days were when most handymen weren’t even open.

I’ll break this down for anyone who reads this review so that you can decide which category fits your situation the best.

Price: Honestly, I had about 5 handyman come out and quote me on replacing my window sill. Matthew’s price, coincidentally, matched the lowest cost of another quote we had gotten BUT he also mentioned he’d match the price of any of his competitors. So now that I knew he’d price match, the question was now about quality work.

Quality or work: Exceptional! I couldn’t be more pleased with our window sill. The replacement is made of better material and looks great!

I’ve added this guy to my contacts on my phone because I know if I need a repair in the future, He’s my new “go too” guy.

We had a defective garbage disposal replaced. Matthew did a very thorough job and had to jump through hoops to get the job done as the first unit was defective making it necessary to return the unit to Lowes and start over. We were very satisfied with the work, would use him again and will recommend him to others who need repair work.

Finding a competent professional, who has a sense of pride not only in the work they do, but from a personal perspective is hard to find these days. Someone who actually turns up and do excellent work with the bonus of caring and commitment to solving your dilemma. Someone whose work ethic is top shelf. Someone who respects the sanctity of your home.
Matthew was all of that and more. More personable, more easy going, more proficient and with a studious regard for the job at hand. I had a relatively small job, but Matthew's commitment to doing the job well was evident. So, so glad I 'stumbled' upon his number and am now privy to his ability to complete a job--well. To say I'm happy and satisfied with the work he did is an understatement. I will call him again--in a heartbeat.

Great guy. Very honest. Fixed what my warranty company's plumber misdiagnosed- twice that lead to a huge leak in my ceiling. He found the problem, a toilet flange and had it fixed in under an hour. While he was here I asked him about some other issues I was having with my shower. He diagnosed the problem with it, a shower cartridge, and fixed it in a half hour. He is very reliable and his prices were beyond fair. I highly recommend Matthew as I will be using his awesomeness for all my handyman needs! If I could pick more than 5 stars, I would.

Our refrigerator stopped working right when we were expecting company for the holiday weekend. Matthew came out late that night to diagnose the problem and was back the next day to help fix the issue. He went out of his way to come and help us. We were lucky enough to have Matthew come as a result of our home warranty claim for our clothes washing machine making a burning rubber smell when we tried to run a load of laundry. Not only did he respond very quickly but he also diagnosed the issue in no time flat and we had his quote by that evening. During the diagnosis of the issue he was very informative and thankfully explained things for someone like me (non handy or mechanical) to easily understand. When the part came in he was right back and had the repair done in no time. He is very professional, knowledgeable and polite. When he was here we even pointed out another concern we had with the microwave and he is researching that for us as well no prob. We have already both recommended him to coworkers and took extra cards for future referrals. When I told him I was not from the area and didn't know who to reach for certain items, he informed us that he has a good contact list for all sorts of things and would be happy to provide references that he was confident in as needed. Also my dog was obsessed with him. All around we are extremely happy with the service he provided and his promptness and will continue to refer him to everyone we know..

Met this guy in Lowes and asked about instaling a bathtub in my house. He said he could do when we spoke in person. I sent pics gave him my address as he requested. He failed to follow up timely and then gave some BS excuse of my job not being long-term which is why he couldn't do it when I finally followed up. Dude I told you what it was in your face so there was no confusion. Dissapointed at the level of service provided and felt he was telling lies

Contacted General Repair to do a dishwasher install and fix an electrical switch that originated from behind the dishwasher. Matthew is a pleasant guy, however:

Strike 1- Estimate included switch repair. Wasn t done. Excuse as to why was vague.
Strike 2- The install required a second visit the next day. A day in which we got no calls, texts, or responses to our calls as to why they didn t show up.
Strike 3- The install was not flush to the counter, which I didn t call about given my overall level of satisfaction thus far and the fact that initially it didn t seem like a problem but did eventually lead to.....
Yer Out!- A couple months later the top rack slides out when the dishwasher is opened. I contacted to have the issue resolved, which they were happy to do. For more money. No thanks.
