When we ordered our new AC/Heating unit, Tracey was super helpful explaining all our different options and she is always very responsive any time we have a problem. While I did not end up using Motherroad's services to complete my water filtration project, I feel compelled to leave a review after my experience. This was far and away the BEST interaction I have ever had with a contractor. Alex was prompt, explained my options in great detail, and did not try to upsell or push anything extra or unnecessary to my project. He told me exactly what he wanted to use, why he wanted to use it, and included a breakdown of every single item and its purpose in his quote. He also broke down his pricing for me, which provided that extra layer of comfort with the process.

It is clear that Alex really knows his stuff and takes great pride in his work. If you haven't yet, take a look at the pictures on his website; he is definitely an artist of his craft. Unfortunately, we did not have the room in our budget to go with him on this occasion, but I wholeheartedly believe he is worth his price and would be ecstatic to go with Motherroad on a future project down the road. This is my second time using Central Plumbing. First time they replaced my hot water heater in Dec 2018. Excellent job and price and I give 5 stars for that job and am happy to have found a company that I can rely on to do good job for fair price.. I had previously used them when the foreman was Willie and had been satisfied with their work. This time was a nightmare!! I found a small amount of water on my front porch over a period of few weeks so finally decided to see what was going on. A young man from Valdez Plumbing came and I showed him the area. He said he would try and figure out where the leak was coming from. I work from home and got busy with work and didn't go outside for about an hour or more. When I finally did, I could not believe the mess. He had not used a tarp or anything but had dug up huge holes in my rose bed and tossed huge amounts of dirt onto my rocks. He told me he would have to dig out a huge shrub of mine as well. After another hour, I noticed through my window that I now had 4 guys out there standing around a massive hole. They told me that they had no idea where the leak was coming from, that I needed a whole new line, that it would cost $2500 and that if I didn't do it, they would need to charge me $800 for the dig and NOT finding my leak. When I told them that I needed to think about it, the supervisor told me in no uncertain terms that I needed to pay them right then and there for the dig. He told me, good luck finding someone else to work on it. They had me over a barrel and knew it! I ended up using them to do the new line, which I probably didn't even need since I had just had it redone 6 years earlier. They completely destroyed my sodded front yard, I lost my big shrub, had to deal with their horrible supervisor, and the huge mess they left. Although I tried to save my grass and four foot shrub, I was unable to and eventually got turf put in. The supervisor was rude, demanding and completely unprofessional.

They were not nice, condescending and 600 + dollars more than all the other plumbers I called for the job. From the word hello, you could talk they didn't care whether I did business with them. Since they were the first call and not knowing if this was as good as it gets in town, I remained kind. Fortunately it wasn't. I contacted 7 other companies and none of them were even close to cost and none were rude. Busy, but not rude.

Air one is wonderful. Their staff is punctual, professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. The project went very smooth and we love our new air conditioner and water heater. They give you their 200%. We highly recommend them and will definitely hire them again and again :). Thank you for all the hard work and great job guys!
