Best Equipment Maintenance in Albuquerque NM

AWFUL!!! DISRESPECTFUL ACTIONS AND COMPLETE DISREGARD FROM FIELD STAFF AND OWNERSHIP. My mom Lena Reyes, who is 84, spent $949 to have a water line valve leak repaired, two faucets replaced and a shower leak repaired. On 5/26/22, Rocketman employee Doug C. and another employee arrived at my mom’s house to perform the work. After the workers left, and water line opened, the sprinklers came on. This should not happen if the sprinkler valves are closed. My mother called them on 5/27/22 to let them know one faucet they replaced was leaking and the new problem with the sprinkler valve. An appointment was set for 6/2/22. The employee came out on 6/2/22 but said he was not prepared to work on a sprinkler valve and did not look at the faucet. Another appointment to address the issues was scheduled for 6/9/22. Employee Doug C. again returned and inspected the faucet and found it leaking and attempted repair. I then tried to explain to Doug the issue with the sprinkler valve, he only wanted to talk past me and over me. He did not want to listen only talk. Disrespectful with me and with my mother who he told he was tired of explaining himself to her. They left and the faucet still leaks. I have called three times to inform them the faucet still leaks and to try and get answers about the sprinkler valve, 6/9/22, 6/13/22 and 6/16/22. Each time with a promise that the owner is aware and he will call me. I have yet to hear from the owner regarding work that is currently under warranty.

Edit: B. Carlson reached out to me to correct most of the issues in my original review. Turns out they were mostly due to communication issues between a newer staff member and myself. While I am unlikely to use them at this point as they have been by far the most expensive quote I have gotten, I have amended my review to remove some of the more egregious issues.

Do not hire these guys for water heater problems! The tech they sent out came in and took 5 minutes to tell me that the water heater would need to be replaced (no problem, its old, it happens). He then did not give me any kind of estimate on what it would cost to replace the unit, and stood around waiting for half an hour for instructions from the home office that never came. Over a day later, I was contacted with an estimate, but in the end it was not really competitive.

They may be good for AC/Heat, but they are not worth your time for water heaters.

We are new to Rio Rancho, had just bought a house, and discovered that the water valves for the washing machine needed replacement -- badly! We had researched plumbers online (google, BBB, etc. ) and decided to call Affordable Services. Excellant choice, to say the least. Thomas was available and in our neighborhood, so he came by immediately. Because the house is older ('85), the valve box threw him a problem as far as accessing the valve pipes, but he knew exactly what to do, and had us up and washing in no time. So kudos to Thomas and Chris (x2) for their excellant service, as well as the office scheduler (I apologize for forgetting her name - very helpful and friendly) for taking care of us. We will definitely use and recommend them for future needs.Steve and Leslie

I had a gas leak on my water heater and they came out right away. I called at 8:21am and had my water heater fixed before 10:00 am. Thank you.

When my heater went out, I was so stressed because I was afraid I had to pay quite a bit to even get somebody to look at it.

I called American AC&Heat, they sent a technician to my house within 30 min. found the problems and fixed it with no time.

The technician is polite, knowledgeable and professional. I am very pleased!

I have used many AC and Heating companies in town for my rentals before, American AC&Heat has the best price!

Called Plumbing Express because we had a blocked pipe somewhere in my house. Steve sent out a competent plumber (Dion) who unfortunately had to work in a tight space in a hot garage to snake the line out. When I called, Steve spent about 10 minutes on the phone with me diagnosing the problem to ensure that the proper equipment would be with the plumber when the plumber arrived. In addition to snaking the drain Dion installed a clean out in the pipe that needed work for future issues. I also found Dion to be a good communicator about what was happening and answered a few questions I had about the plumbing in other areas of my house. I called Steve at about noon and the issue was resolved about three hours later. I knew up front before committing to working with Plumbing Express the hourly rate charged. I appreciate knowing that detail so I knew what to expect at the end of the work.

Lastly, this is a NM licensed (#380321), insured, and bonded organization. So when you do business with them you can be assured that you are in fact working with a professional in their field.

The driver of this van yesterday was tailgating my bumper and weaving in and out of cars on SW Coors and Central. When I would move up, he would move up closer to my bumper every time. He was a heavy set Hispanic guy and I happened to get a pic of his van. I'll take down my review as soon as the company disciplines this employee for his actions. I don't blame the company because they probably don't know what their employee is doing.

I used Pearl Mechanical in 2018 so I've had time to evaluate the work. We completed an addition with a whole new HVAC system for the house; 2 units servicing the house.
1. In the original portion of the house the vents for the bedrooms were placed directly inside of the door. In order to heat the room, the door has to be closed. It would have made sense to put the only vent in the room... actually in the room. It is unbelievable that an HVAC contractor would think this is the best vent placement.
2. The vents in the addition were placed in the most likely place a bed would be. Both of my kids have the vents blowing directly on them at night. We've moved one kid's bed but the other room is small enough that isn't a possibility.
3. Instead of placing a clean run from the unit to the vents on the original portion of the house - they did some weird tie in that is sloppy and inefficient. I'll get up on the attic and attach pics.
4. Gave them 2 stars bcz they did get it installed...

I should have used a different contractor for the work but they came highly recommended... my $20K mistake

Mr Navarro and the whole time we’re prompt cordial and worked very hard all day in the heat❗️he did not leave until 6:50. He was patient in explaining and going over all paper work he deserves some recognition!!

We had an old swamp cooler that kept giving us problems and this year we decided to replace it. We had several companies provide us with quotes and for just the basic install portion, we were quoted up to $2,000 from other companies. Not only did Wolff Heating Cooling Plumbing come thru for us in 2 days, but he beat any price! The install was not as simple as we thought it was going to be and one of the vents in the attic was busted, but he was quick to take care of that too! He went out of his way to pick up a replacement part at Home Depot, and installed it the next day without adding an extra labor charge! Joe is very efficient, timely, and customer friendly. He took pictures of his every step and explained the work in detail. I would highly recommend Wolff Heating Cooling Plumbing to my family and friends for any plumbing/heating projects.

Would not recommend. Not professional answering the phone. If you just have people waiting on hold you shouldn't have a business. Couldn't even answer my question.
