We discovered early on a Sunday morning that our water heater had failed. We were frantic. By Sunday afternoon, the wonderful folks from McMahon were in our basement, discussing options for replacement that could be done that day or the next. We chose the tankless system and McMahon said we’d have hot water again by 3:30 the next afternoon. And we did! The old broken tank was gone and the hot water was working again at 3pm — a half hour early!
This is a great company. They show up when they say they will, they know their stuff, and they are kind and helpful in stressful situations such as flooded basements. Give them a call when you need a plumber. You’ll be glad you did.

I scheduled an appointment for 5/6. They gave me a 4 hr window of when they would arrive. At 2:55pm I received a text telling me they will call me shortly. I replied to the text saying ok, and asked to confirm they are still coming within the 4 hr window given to me? I did not get a reply to my question. They never called me, and they never showed up. I will NEVER use this company! Extremely unprofessional.

I have used drain flow many times over the past eight years and have had nothing but positive experiences! Anthony is reliable, professional, reasonably priced, does wonderful work, communicative and always comes as soon as possible which is usually the next day. Drain flow is busy because they are wonderful, but they always find a way to fit me in because they truly care about their customers! I am so grateful to have a good plumber and to know these wonderful people.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Tim, who is also the service manager, and his apprentice came to my restaurant on an emergency service call. They did diagnostics and told me the issue was the thermopile and definitely not the gas valve. They called one company to try to get the part and said they couldn’t get it until next week. In a restaurant, you are required to have hot water to operate so this essentially would mean closing the business through the weekend. When asked if there was a universal part that could be used to patch up the issue, Tim hastily told me that if there was anything that could be done, he’d do it. He “called the only company that carries parts”, for my water heater and they’d said the product wasn’t available. He basically told me that even if there was a work around, what was he going to do, drive around to several places in hopes that he could find something that would work? They then left and gave me a tough luck kinda speech saying they’d be back next week. Cut to one hour later when another company came and installed a universal thermopile that was easily picked up. Upon installing this part, it was learned that the gas valve was an issue as well. They then stayed and fixed the issue for me after Pann said it couldn’t be done and Tim couldn’t be bothered to try to actually help us. This was a Friday afternoon and my sense was they just wanted to be done for the day and didn’t want to out in the work. Avoid this company at all costs.

Had yearly maintenance. Great customer service by Kervin. Very detailed oriented and did a great job. highly recommend!

I had called this company not realizing they were in Mass. Their service was excellent, Mike and Oscar were great. Attention to detail, and although we were hesitant to have the walls cut, his knowledge was spot on as it revealed black mold. Good solid service.

Greg was very friendly, responsive and generous in scheduling our work the same day. We needed assistance with capping off old rusted sink and shower lines before a bathroom remodel and removing our existing toilet. The plumbers arrived on time, were COVID safe, and took the time to explain everything to me, which I appreciated very much. They did quick work and charged a very fair rate. Overall we're extremely happy and would recommend them / use again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

I have used Boston Standard in the past with no issues.Iam a senior with medical issues, a cold house and a faulty heating system.After scheduling appointment, technician that came out was a nice professional person who informed me of the issues with boiler.He then proceeded to give me a price and stated that I would have to pay half of the bill before he left. I was NEVER informed through phone scheduling or the MANY texts I had received from this company.Incidentally the part that was needed had to be ordered and he was not sure when he would return to complete job.Fast forward, because I did not give half of price for job they refused to do the work.I proceeded to ask to speak to manager but was advised to send an e-mail to the general scheduling e-mail box.I did send Mr. Wood, CEO e-mail through the scheduling e-mail box who has not responded as of yet.I will not recommend this company because they do not stand behind their name or motto The company you can count on
