My gas stove was sitting about 6 inches away from the wall because of a pipe coming out out the floor. Rich moved this pipe and now I don't have this big gap behind my stove anymore. Other companies wanted to go straight to breaking up the stone foundation to get at the pipe. Rich studied the situation and decided to try going at it from the top first. He learned that this would work and that going through the foundation in the basement would not have worked because of the way the pipes were arranged. He got the job done. He seemed very competent and trust worthy. (He also noticed that the sealant around my exhaust pipe from the water heater needed repair and he did it without charging extra for it.)
I would hire him again.
It was expensive though...I don't know if this is the going rate or not...

Rich did a wonderful job- helpful and professional and efficient and thorough. and everything was spic and span when he left! (almost like he wasn't here at all- except that our toilet is working like new! it's actually never worked so well as it does now!). thanks so much for your hard work.

Summary: Not only tried to rip us off for a job, they actually LIED and INVENTED a problem that was blatantly non-existent to try to fleece us out of more than $700.

Story...

I called about a shower that was not giving hot water. They charged a $69 visit/diagnostic fee, which is a lot and does not apply to the actual job, but I accepted it. After coming by, they said I need to schedule a water mains shutoff to the house (I live in one of three units) because they couldn't just turn off water to the shower itself, and that I needed to order a new shower valve online for them to replace next time for an installation fee of $460. Again I thought it was pricey but reasonable...

Before they left I asked them about a bathroom faucet that had low cold water pressure. They said they'll take a look, and pretended to attempt to turn off the valves under the sink to shut off the water. Then, they said that those valves were corroded, couldn't be turned, and need replacement. Without being able to shut off the water they'd again have to wait until the water mains shutoff. They however, strongly recommended me to replace those valves in addition to fixing the faucet problem next time. Total quoted cost: ~$700

NOW I was a little suspicious. My bathroom plumbing isn't that old, and given that the only thing they did during this $70 visit was attempting to rotate those valves under the sink, I decided to see myself just how stuck they were. To my utter surprise, both valves turned smooth as butter, easily closing and opening all the way under the force of merely two fingers. And what's more, after opening one of the valves just one extra turn, the water pressure problems was immediately resolved. Total time and cost for someone with zero plumbing experience to fix: 1 minute and $0

Having quickly fixed something that was quoted $700 by a seasoned professional, I figured that as a naturally gifted plumber I should delve into the shower problem myself. Of course there was still that pesky problem of shutting off the water mains. Fortunately, after unscrewing the face plate from the faucet handle (30 seconds of work which they did NOT bother to do during the diagnostic visit btw, I wonder why), I found not one but two valves that can shut off both hot and cold water to the shower! Who could have known! And, after following some youtube instructions that took about 10 minutes and a single wrench, I can finally take a hot shower again! Total time and cost? 20 minutes and $0 (well, except for the valve that they told me to buy online which turned out to be totally unneeded. But I'll be returning that...)

i think they did a good job but it too too expensive from the service fees to the labour charge .so try to buy the part yourself rather than they buy for you and they charge you too much for the parts and read the review and compare with the other companies before you hire them ,this is my first and last to hire them and never ever refer anyone because of the expensive.

Matthew D. provided excellent service installing a new dishwasher, gas range and kitchen faucet. He was on time, gave each projected the attention and expertise it required, treated each project individually and gave it A+ service. Each installation was done very well and worked beautifully. Matthew was polite, pleasant, neat and communicated well throughout the process. I can't recommend Matthew more highly!

replacement of water shut-off valve

Michael B did a great job meeting my emergency need for a new water heating system; courteous and professional throughout. The guys who did the installation and set up were great. On time, professional, knew what they were doing, and left my house cleaner than it was when they arrived. They even helped my neighbor out of a tough spot, out of kindness. It's a tough winter for everyone, and I appreciate the extra effort from Michael and his colleagues.

Tom was great, he did a through check of my AC unit as well as identifying a potential problem with my water heater to avoid future problems. He was on time and very professional.

Unfortunately, I've yet to have a positive experience with Pann. I subscribe to their Pann Protection Plan ($20 / month for preferred scheduling, reduced rates, etc.), but it's honestly not worth the money. They are significantly overpriced already. They don't charge by the hour but by the job - what that means is there is little to no transparency in how they price out your job. They quoted me ~$800 for a project that I had done last year by someone else for $300. Moreover, they have poor communication. Rarely answer emails. And in my contract with them, they claimed they would fill out the warranty information and reimburse me for the cost of the parts if they were covered. It's been a month since they did the work and have yet to hear anything about this warranty paperwork or if I'm owed any reimbursement.

I had a plumbing problem and I called to Pann Home Services. Tim B. was assigned to come into my house. He identified the problem and discussed with me all possible options how to fix it. The job was performed very efficiently. We have been customers of Pan Home Services for many years. I think that the success of this company in attracting new and keeping the existing customers is mostly in the hands of its employees. Workers like Tim B. make this company successful. He is very technically adept and he also provides highly professional advice on the necessary services. I trust Tim B. This company has people I trust. Workers like Tim B. make myself and others your loyal customers. I will happily refer your company to my friends. Thank you again for hiring such a highly professional employee.

Josh and Jose were fantastic! Super friendly and professional and they did a wonderful job.

We had a leak into the downstairs bathroom that started at 5:00 in the morning and Pann was the first to respond. It took a short while to trace the leak source but Josh and Clara were very rigorous in diagnosing the problem. They did a very professional job fixing the leak and also did a great job cleaning up and putting the house back in order afterwards, something not usually seen. I am very pleased with their work and I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors.

Josh and Alex arrived promptly and were very clear about the work that was to be done and what the cost would be. Replacement of our water heater was completed as projected and they were certain to test before leaving. Very satisfied and would use again.

The team was so great - willing to schedule and come at short notice, reasonable fee for the visit, quick diagnostic, quote, and repair - everything was done in a couple hours and I am so happy with the service. Also great people who explained my options and were so friendly and professional.

My heating died last Sunday afternoon, a day after a snowstorm. I called PANN and within 1-1/2 hours, Peter arrived at my door and determined that the furnace motor had burned out. He said he would be back the next day with a replacement, explained the cost, and left me hopeful. He also offered me a space heater to get me through the night. As a brand new PANN customer, I was thrilled with the quick response to my emergency call!! Long story short, within 24 hours of my original call, Peter was back with a new motor and I had heat again. He was efficient, knowledgeable, willing to answer all my questions about the heating system, and a really nice guy.

So glad I chose PANN for my heating and AC maintenance.

What a wonderful day I had meeting Mike K. from Pann Home Services. My request was to have a carpenter arrive this morning and was scheduled for 9:00AM. I was contacted by Mike at 8:30AM stating he was on his way. Mike arrived on time, greeted me with a warm smile and a hand shake thanking me for scheduling a service call. Once Mike entered my condo he put on his booties and listened to my issues. He was extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions on how to approach each issue. I truly enjoyed meeting Mike K., you can tell he really enjoys his profession; he speaks very highly about the Pann Company, and meeting him today, has convinced me that I found the perfect full service company to meet all my needs.

Mike K., did a wonderful job coordinating a BIG project today requiring removal of kitchen appliances and re-install new appliances. He also coordinated a plumber to install the dishwasher at the same time, as well as doing carpentry work. This project took the entire day with a crew of four from PANN. All employees were very helpful, pleasant and very professional.

This project was very difficult because I had prior work done that entailed new kitchen counter tops and flooring from Home Depot. The job was so poorly done by Home Depot, that PANN had to take extra time to resolve all issues and obstacles they encountered with reinstalling new appliances.

Mike K, went above and beyond to make sure things were running smoothly, and at the end of the day, everything was perfect, a job well planned and executed, outstanding clean-up and I was able to close the door behind me with a feeling of accomplishment. And I owe it all to Mike K., for making it happen. This man is more then just an employee; he knows the value behind Customer Service.

Tim and Frank polite and professional. They answered all my questions about carbon monoxide and gave me good advice on CO detectors for my home. they found 2 pipes that needed sealing and came back a few days later to repair. Very good company.

Ryan with Pann Home Services came to repair and clean two ten-year0-old gas fireplaces in our home. What a great experience. The guys from Pann Home Services did a great job removing ice dams from my home. They were prompt, courteous and professional. They got to some hard to reach spots which would have been very dangerous for a nonprofessional to attempt. The pricing was also accurate. I was very satisfied.

It was such a pleasure dealing with Rich and Jack of Pann Home Services of Cambridge Massachusetts. They install a tankless hot water heater in very tight quarters in a utility closet of my home. They were both very professional and explained all the details of their work. I would recommend them enthusiastically to anyone who might need such services.

You will not be disappointed by becoming a PANN member and using their kind, skilled employees for work in your home. They are professional, on-time and honest. They made our new house feel like a home after completing several random, around the house projects I'd been anxious to complete. As first time home owners, we feel peace of mind that PANN is just a phone call away for any urgent needs.

It saddens me to write a bad review, I wish our experience was better.
We live in a home with a water heater in the basement. It was about 9 years old, and we had a minor leak, maybe one cup of water a day.
I contacted Pann because their sticker was on the heater. I sent pictures of the heater, with close up pictures of the serial number etc.
Amy corresponded with me and we talked on the phone, she asked me about the previous home owners and said we were okay with warranty.

What she didn't tell me was that a minor leak from a water heater is a big red flag, should be addressed ASAP, and the water supply to the tank should be shut off. I learned that the hard way, too late.

It was the week of the 4th of July, so we made an appt for Friday morning after the holiday. The technicians arrived around 7:30am, we went downstairs and found the basement all flooded, with ankle deep water :-(

The technicians were professional, knowledgeable and experienced. They managed to remove the old heater and install a new one in just a few hours. They did not go out of their way to help me deal with the flood, since that's not their job (but it would have been an opportunity to go the extra mile and show that helping people in distress is more important than money).

The main problem was the sketchy warranty. That was the only reason I called Pann, instead of my trusted plumber. Handwriting on the Pann sticker read 10 year warranty, but the technician said it was meaningless, anyone could have written that. So I had to pay the full price for a new one, and their price was about 10% higher than my plumber's.

I called their office while struggling to pump water out, and move stuff to dry in the back yard (and of course then it rained...)
I said I was not happy and asked to talk to the manager. He did not call me back, he talked to his technician on site and agreed to match the quote I got from my plumber. That was an honorable gesture, but it made me think- why was their price so high to begin with? is it nice to take advantage of people in emergencies?...

Our basement is half finished, and the water heater is very visible. The old one was nice and white, the new one is grey, much less aesthetic. Nobody asked me about the color of the heater before it was brought.

And then the technician wrote with a sharpie on the top front of the heater, the installation date and warranty. Why not put a neat official company sticker, that will not be questioned again in the future?..

The flood caused damage, paint peeled all over the concrete floor, rugs and wood furniture were a total loss, stuff in cardboard containers was a wet mess. It took me days to clean up, dry and dehumidify. Fortunately not enough to trigger an insurance claim, but enough to make the aftermath quite a headache. Again, it could have been avoided had the office rep told me to shut the water off and have the heater replaced promptly.

An important lesson here- have a utility pump ready in your basement, and make sure the outlets are GFI. When the extension cord falls into the water, a GFI can prevent en electric shock and save your life.

My impression was that the technicians are good professionals and good guys. They are well organized, equipped and capable. The things that need to improve are communication of urgent measures on the phone, and clearer and more honest warranty.

I have never seen a company that refuses to give out quotes or pricing over the phone with the lame excuse that the technician needs to look at your A/C unit first. Sure enough, the technician came to my home and started reading out the prices I had requested as he was walking up the stairs. He did not even look at my A/C unit nor did he need to. After he finished reading his overinflated prices he asked if I wanted to proceed with the work to which I said 'not at this time' and sure enough he collected a $70 dispatch fee. Just for reading out prices. This devious behavior in order to pressure a customer to agree to pay exorbitant prices is plain dishonest.

Professional, thorough, friendly. Twenty-six years ago, the original owner of our home used Pann Home Services to install two furnaces, and as the current owner, I couldn't be happier to be able to work with the same company all these years later. Our technician, Peter K., showed up on time, got right to work diagnosing our heating issue, and took ample time to discuss every possible option for servicing the heating equipment in my home, from repairing our old furnaces to replacing the entire heating system. He answered all of our questions clearly and listened carefully to our concerns.

Awful, avoid this company. I hired them to replace a bathtub faucet. They came and told me the new faucet I bought doesn't fit, but luckily they had a faucet that would fit and they were ready to sell it to me for ~$400 (lol what? the price range for these faucets is $15-$50 unless it's made of gold). I refused and they left after charging me ~$70 for coming and not doing anything.

Tom H came to do semi annual inspection. Very professional and helpful.Noticed that we would be moving offered advice and services. Very thorough and professional service.
The office was very good at keeping me posted as to when Tom would be arriving.

I have nothing but high praise for Tim B. And Pann's work in helping us install leak sensors on our water heaters. Two other recommended companies we contacted had no experience doing this kind of work. Tim did the task from bid to completion in three business days. Pann was very easy to work with in terms of scheduling the initial appointment, arranging to have the work done by a contractor with experience in the work we needed, and confirming the arrangements.

Matt (and Austin) were consummate professionals. They were really focused on getting the job done, they worked carefully in difficult circumstances to find and complete all the issues necessary to repair frozen pipe damage, the quality of their work was excellent as was the care they took of, and in, the house. Great work. I thoroughly recommend them.

Ryan had been to my home previously to check my heating system. He determined there was a problem with the condenser and offered me two options. Replace the rusty parts or get a whole new condenser. I decided to go new. When the new one came in, Debbie called to set up a day for installation. Soon after Ryan and Kollin arrived and quietly, unobtrusively they went to work. In spite of the rain that day, they left my house so no one would know they'd been there. Just great. I look forward to their return in the summer to check out mt air conditioning!

Matt was fantastic. He arrived on-time, and did a full assessment of my home's plumbing needs. He then estimated the cost for each of these jobs, and I was then able to prioritize the sequence of the jobs for this visit, and then for subsequent visits. He worked all day diligently, showed great care and cleanliness and completed the entire list. I'm looking forward to working with him again when he comes to complete the final jobs on my punch list.

Called on Wednesday afternoon and was scheduled for the next day. I was called an hour in advance to confirm arrival time. Guys showed up and quickly replaced a damaged valve.

Tom did a great job at Julia Sheehan's house. She asked me to make sure to respond positively!

I called for an estimate to install a gas dryer and was told they don't give estimates over the phone, but for $69.95 they would send someone over to provide an estimate. If I decided I didn't want to give them the job, I'd only pay $69.95.

I had the Pann Home Service staff in to clear the lint from my gas dryer. As always, they were professional, quick and considerate that we are currently working from home. When I need quality help and quick response, I call Pann.

Josh was fantastic. He was on-time, professional, and knowledgeable. I had a wobbly toilet issue and he was able to assess the issue and present clear options with pricing. Second time using Pann Home and I’ll continue to lean on them for future needs.

DO NOT CALL THEM. They are the worst. Two reasons: 1. Insane overcharge. 2. Left important wire unplugged without telling the owner.

They charged me $398 for simply check up what's wrong without doing any repairing. Even worse, the technician left with the heatpump wire unplugged without notifying me! I knew this until another technician from another company came and found it. Pann home is untrustworthy and unprofessional in my opinion.

corrected the trouble with one of the water pipes.
I've had Rich correct some problems I've had in my very old house a few other times and
I've always been pleased with his work. I would recommend him to anyone who needs

One of my AC units was broken and Tom was sent out to repair it and service the other unit. During his evaluation of the unit Tom identified and documented several Problems and showed me the costs or repairs. given the previous problems I had with this unit I elected to replace it instead and Tom helped me set up the appointment and will return to check on the new unit after installation.

Tom was Professional, Polite, and Helpful to Me and my family through his entire visit.

Tim and team performed thorough maintenance and filter replacement for my Navien combo boiler. I continue to appreciate their thoughtfulness, guidance, and efficient service.

This is the second time that I have had a Pann Home Services' technician visit our home to solve a problem for us on our gas fireplace. The Company itself is very professional: always has a human voice when calling, they follow-up with phone calls for the scheduled time/ visit for repair). The technicians are very thoughtful: respect of your home, booties for shoes, and blankets to protect floors. From start to finish, my experience with PANN was amazing. My boiler was 30 years old and needed replacing before the winter. PANN installed a high efficiency unit and I couldn't be happier with the results. The entire team was amazing, but I want to especially thank Josh for making the process as painless as possible. Not only did he walk me through every step of the plan, patiently addressing all my questions and concerns, he also updated me at the end of each day on how the installation was going. He was professional, communicative, and a genuine pleasure to work with.

Rich was awesome - very knowledgeable and went out of his way to teach us what to look for when maintaining our new boiler. Quick work and we love having clean, hot water!

I recently moved to Milton and both heating systems are acting up. I signed up with Pann Home Services as the prior owner also used them prior. I found Ryan to be extremely knowledgeable with both heating systems. Glad he did because I would be without heat on both occasions in middle of November...

Ron H. dimensioned it and Scott V. installed a high-efficiency, no boiler, combo heat-hot water system that unencumbered my basement and save $$$. Came out to give me a quote on a new HVAC system-promise to get back to me within a week. I did not hear anything back for three weeks so when I finally called to ask about the quote, I was informed that the person who did my quote was not in the office and will get back with me by the end of the week and it has been two weeks since that phone call. What a nuisance

Called Pann for help diagnosing and repairing a ceiling leak in late summer 2021.

First response was prompt, and leak was diagnosed the next day. It however took 2 weeks for the leak to then be repaired. This was understandable given the importance of having the right tradesman available to solve the issue.

Since the original work in September 2021, the primary issue has been pace of scheduling. It can be difficult to schedule follow up visits to get the work fully completed. Initial calls to the office did not always result in follow ups. They have worked hard to fit me in on short notice, but the lack of predictability is challenging.

Once in touch with my actual technician, the work has gotten done well.

I recommend having either a long timeline or high flexibility in your availability if trying to fix a similar issue.

terrible schedule system. they have a day line, and emergency line, and for day line regular schedule they can only offer 10-2pm or 12-4 pm service. for emergency line service, they charge $190.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Tim, who is also the service manager, and his apprentice came to my restaurant on an emergency service call. They did diagnostics and told me the issue was the thermopile and definitely not the gas valve. They called one company to try to get the part and said they couldn’t get it until next week. In a restaurant, you are required to have hot water to operate so this essentially would mean closing the business through the weekend. When asked if there was a universal part that could be used to patch up the issue, Tim hastily told me that if there was anything that could be done, he’d do it. He “called the only company that carries parts”, for my water heater and they’d said the product wasn’t available. He basically told me that even if there was a work around, what was he going to do, drive around to several places in hopes that he could find something that would work? They then left and gave me a tough luck kinda speech saying they’d be back next week. Cut to one hour later when another company came and installed a universal thermopile that was easily picked up. Upon installing this part, it was learned that the gas valve was an issue as well. They then stayed and fixed the issue for me after Pann said it couldn’t be done and Tim couldn’t be bothered to try to actually help us. This was a Friday afternoon and my sense was they just wanted to be done for the day and didn’t want to out in the work. Avoid this company at all costs.

Pann home services always does a great job for me. Mike from carpentry was here over the past few days and has done an excellent job of follow up, estimation and quality work.

Called this company for an after-hours plumbing emergency at my house. Paid a lot of money for a visit from the technician on call. He was friendly and professional, but he left without doing anything except turning the main supply off, and the company wanted to send someone *11 days later* just to give me an estimate on a fix (???)

I ended up calling another plumber who came on 36 hours notice and fixed the problem in less than 2 hours.

Came promptly. Explained everything and showed me what they were doing. Courteous and friendly. Dependable.

Scott and Andrew diagnosed the situation, showed me the alternatives, and then went about their tasks very professionally. They not only had to contend with the situation inside my home, but because my street was torn up due to all the water/sewer construction going on in my neighborhood, they couldn't come into my driveway and had to walk back and forth to their truck. They were great about it! Service above and beyond the call of duty is what I call it.

Pann home services were great. They came in the day after I called and quickly installed a water heater. The only problem I had was it seemed a little expensive, though I'm from vt so I'm used to different process. Note: I love in Cambridge. Another excellent experience with Pann Home Services. Our furnace was on it’s last legs…still working but inefficient and quite old. Frank and Tim from Pann suggested we replace it now rather than wait for a failure in the middle of winter in Boston. They did a masterful job, coordinated all the work and were a pleasure to deal with. Pann may not be the least expensive but they are top grade and extremely professional!

I had such a great experience with Pann Home Services. My central air went out on a super hot day (of course). I found Pann online and gave them a call. They offered me an emergency call and sent a contractor out right away that day. He diagnosed the problem and went through the repair with me thoroughly. We had to order the part and as soon as it came in, they were back to install it. Now my A/C is back and running great. I highly recommend Pann to anyone with HVAC or other needs.

They are always on time for appointments, and a lot of the time they can come earlier than the original appointment time. Dishonest and worst ever. Sink leak after the repair. Technician did not disclose cost and asking a $20 basket strainer for $300 as part cost. Threatening to charge labor if he put the old parts back. I have to settle for $50. Call the office file a complaint, but no respond. Don't do business with this company!!!

I needed a new combo water heater installed. I used Pann Home Services in the past to service my old unit. The company was always very responsive to my needs for repairs of the old system. The trust Pann built with me was the reason I chose them to install my new system. The technicians, Tim B, Kyle and Grant were very professional and took care to respect my property. They were prompt in arriving each day and were careful to clean up the work area at the end of each day. Tim was very thorough in explaining the work to be done. He answered all my questions about the new combo heating system. I am very happy with the work they did.

I had an issue with my central AC system and after calling a number of HVAC service providers, I chose Pann due to their stellar Google reviews. WARNING: Check out Yelp. Their pricing is highway robbery. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because they waived the dispatch fee after they incorrectly sent a plumber the first time around. Errol the technician quoted me $1600 for a follow-up leak search. $1600 for 3 hours of work to determine whether or not there was a leak! When I asked how he got to that quote, he was perplexed. He didn't make any sense. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Luis T. came to my home for a serious plumbing problem in my laundry sink. This was an emergency call I might add. It was the first time I worked with Pann Home Services. Luis was polite, courteous, knowledgeable, persevering and very committed to getting the problem solved--which he did. I have requested Luis through Pann Home Services in case other issues may come up in my home. Highly recommended gentleman!

I had PANN come out to take look and give me an estimate to have a shower rod installed for my clawfoot shower, that's it ( just the rod). Admittedly, I knew it would be more expensive for the hardware and installation, but they gave me an estimate of $3,000!!! Just tell me outright you won't do the jobrather than give me an outrageous estimate. I just had it installed beautifully for $500, and that included my great handyman ordering and payingfor the hardware...$500 for everything. Will never contact PANN for anything ever!

Complete ripoff, they wanted to charge over $2000 to install vanity that was offset by 2. I had another company come for it for $400.00. Complete waste of time and money having them show up late for a quote.

Ron and his co-worker Mike came to fix my fireplace that wouldn't light. Ron was courteous, knowledgable and efficient when it came to fixing my fireplace. He explained why the fireplace wasn't working and then proceeded to fix the unit so that it would function properly. He also cleaned the interior of the fireplace and reorganized the artificial logs which were misaligned.

Overall I was very pleased with the level of service I received and would call Ron and Pann Home Services in the future.

Very professional and clean work. They quoted contracted, executed and completed the task on time. They were on the expensive side and I had reservations to go with them when the quote was given to us. We probably could have had a cheaper option as well but after seeing their work I am happy with my decision. Even though we spent significantly more money than we wanted to do we are very happy with the clean and professional service and we will be happy to use them again. In particular Tim and frank who led the work in my house where spectacular. They were a joy to be around and where very respectful and hilarious at the same time. Pann should do everything in their power to keep them as they are great.

Pann offered very fair pricing and did a great job installing a ductless heat pump system over a quick span of just 2 days.

I've lived in the same place for 12 years and always thought my toilet moved slightly, but I was always told that it was in my head. Even when my wax seal was replaced, a plumber from a different company never said anything. I decided to get a new toilet, and Luis asked me if I had noticed that my toilet only had one screw instead of two holding it to the floor. I had! Apparently my flange was broken! Luis did a great job laying out options and distinguishing what repairs were required, optional and unnecessary, but a possible future project.

PANN repaired three heating systems in our apartment buildings and were prompt, responsive, and excellent communicators, as well as having very good specialized knowledge both about steam heat and an ancient gas-fired forced hot air system. S

Pann Home Services has been my go to source for HVAC for several years now. While doing a routine semi-annual on my furnace they found some serious problems with the heat exchanger, when I saw the crack in the exchanger I was horrified to think that gasses had been seeping out thru the heating system.
Within a short time, the guys replaced the furnace and at the same time I had my 8 yr. old water heater replaced.
The professionalism of these guys is incredible. Work done within a day for each project and not a bit of residual mess, I was amazed. The crew introduced themselves, wore booties to come up and replace thermostat in living room. I tend to be a fault finder, as my friends can attest, but, I could not find one thing to complain about.
Ryan, Kellin & Tim were an attribute to this fine company, I can't recommend them enough.
* With winter here and concerns about high levels of CO-2 found in homes, and some of the tragedies I hear about, I'm just super glad that I have an annual service contract with Pann. Peace of mind at a small cost. Thanks guys !!

We have a shower that hadn't been used in years. It was leaking and no hot water was available. Matt arrived on time, assessed the problems and gave us an estimate. He explained each issue, and each item on the estimate. He was very professional, friendly and didn't pressure us into extras or anything more than we expected. Matt was efficient and wore his mask the entire time too, which was appreciated. We are happy with the work that was performed; our shower is up and running fine and we believe the cost was fair. We have used Pann Home Services several times over many years. They are dependable, responsive and timely. We have never been disappointed with their work.

The toiled installation went well. I was pleased with the information provided to me and with the speed of the installation. Louis was helpful and courteous.

Had a water heater go out just last week. Very bad timing as we had a roof leak (the two were not related). We called Pann but were worried that cost of the heater, coming at the same time as other home repairs, would be an overwhelming burden to out wallet.

Michael Bunik, Pann manager, worked with us to make sure we got a great water heater in a timely manner, at a price we could afford. We were really glad we called Pann.

The Pann techs, Dana and Andrew (Drew), were very professional. Like all Pann jobs, they arrived on time. I was worried about complications in terms of getting the water heater in place due to our particular home and the addition of our basement door being inaccessible due to snow. I shouldn't have worried. Dana and Drew quickly found the best route to get the old heater out and the new one in. They worked in a very professional manner and finished quickly. They took the old heater out and cleaned up everything related to the installation. Even to the point of Drew making sure that there was nothing at all that may have dropped on the floors; a post installation inspection as it were.

Besides the great service, there were two items that show the professionalism of Pann. Michael Bunik is familiar with our home from previous visits. Michael had Dana and Drew bring out a shorter water heater (I guess they make them in different heights, albeit with the same water capacity). This was because, on another visit Michael noticed that our heater would install, to meet code, easier if the unit was shorter. Note that this was simply Michael's eye for detail in regards to home maintenance issues. At the time Michael took note of the height issue, our heater was functioning properly. He's just that good in helping homeowners be satisfied with Pann's service.

The second item of note was that Dana took time to make sure that I knew how to light (or re-light) the water heater in case the pilot went out. This wasn't trivial, it took a few minutes for me to learn. The upshot is that I'm now confident that, in the case of a pilot light going out, I can re-light it myself. I know that the instructions are on the heater but, by Dana's taking extra time to have me go through the procedure, I don't have to fumble around or worry that I'm doing something wrong.
