Best Main Water Service Replacement in Seattle WA

My neighbors referred me to Fox plumbing so I called them on a Monday morning during one of our worst cold snaps of the year and asked for a water heater replacement. They were able to get their tech William out to install the new heater that very day despite running all over the city repairing broken water lines. William was very professional and personable and my experience with Fox Heating and Plumbing was an exceptionally positive one. I would gladly pay it forward and recommend Fox for excellent products and service.

I had a partial outage after the snow storm on Nov 30, 2022. I hired two electricians from Beacon plumbing to check on the issue because I want it to be resolved ASAP. They came in pretty quickly and after half an hour of diagnosis they said the issue is on Seattle city light side and they can’t do anything about it. I got charged $500.I thought it was fine, at least I know who to call. But then the city light crew came and checked on everything and they told me the issue is inside of the house.I wouldn’t trust beacon plumbing anymore and asked my neighbor for help, she recommended someone else to me and they came fixed it during the weekend! The issue was on the main breaker so it is indeed inside of the house.Would never never use beacon plumbing again.

When our sewage was blocked last night, Seth came over at 11pm and worked until 2am to cut through roots that had grown in. Since there was still sludge, he recommended we hydrojet the line. Gio came in the morning and talked me through his findings as he used thr camera to inspect the line and hydrojets to remove the remaining roots. Both Seth and Gio were professional, knowledgeable and provided high quality service. Highly recommended!!

Showed up within 4 hours after the phone call. The service tech was very efficient, cleared the blocked sewer without trouble. Price was reasonable, it reflected the equipment investment as well as the response time. Was informed of the cost up front, no surprises there.

Corrosion had choked our 80-year old galvanized piping, so we called Bob Oates and had them replace with PEX piping. It was sad to see all those bronze valves go away, but one guy with a Sawsall had the old out and the new in in a couple of days, including a visit from a directional-drilling rig and a replacement of our ancient meter by City forces as part of the operation.

I had my home repiped with pex by repipe masters in November of 2020, and have had no issues with the pipes in the year since. The price was fair and it only took a day for the repipe crew to complete the job for my home (1600 square feet). Nick (the owner) is very friendly and easy to schedule with. I recently had an issue with the main water valve that turned out to be user error, and Nick graciously helped out with that.

Bobby T and his team are the absolute best! I don’t think we will ever use any other plumber. We’ve had him come out a few times, with services that need to be done as soon as possible. He was always very responsive and able to make it work. Tonight he came out to fix an outside water spigot that had burst. We had to turn off the water main and so he wanted to come out to fix it as soon as possible so that we would have our water back on. He was able to work quickly and come up with a very good solution to make it work and get our water back on. It was very affordable! Especially after having to use Beacon Plumbing a few years ago for a similar service and getting charged over five times as much as what they quoted us over the phone. I had a leak in the shower. The wall was very wet. This very nice, professional, man came and fixed my pipe and wall. He left it clean and didn't mess up anything in my home. The cost of my repair was a lot better than other quotes that I recieve. Thank you

I was looking for a “handyman” to remove/replace several broken AC units that were jammed into small window openings in an old workspace. Now I first contacted the highest rated handyman services on Google and they all declined the job. That’s when I came across Fixer.com.

The web site steers you into making an appointment right there, which frightened me a little because I didn’t want to make any commitments without knowing if they could actually do the work. After some research, I went ahead and booked an appointment. The process was easy – more like ordering food delivery than what I was used to with other companies. There were many options for setting up a day and time (although no weekends yet). After making the appointment, I received a confirmation email and then an hour later, I got an email with a time estimate range for the job. Since Fixer gives you a rate depending on your zip code, I guess you can estimate the cost of the project.

Fast forward to appointment day - Sherrie and Jacob arrived on time; they were very friendly. They looked at the project/space, gave me an updated time estimate and then went to work. When they were done, they left. They didn’t even ask for payment. I got a text and email later with the invoice. I did notice that the actual time taken was over two hours greater than the estimate. But I’m actually ok with that. It was an unusual job so it would be very difficult to calculate how long it would take to complete.

I went to Fixer.com to pay, easy enough. However, there was an option to leave a tip for the “fixers,” with different suggested amounts. That was unexpected. It’s a different model than I’m used to. But I’m totally ok with anything that encourages better service or rewards good service. I’ll just have to account for that in the budgeting stage moving forward. Sherrie and Jacob were very pleasant and I’m extremely pleased with my experience with Fixer.com. I highly recommend them.

Paid $430 for a kitchen drain unclog work. They were trying so hard to up selling some extra work for $1400. It just doesn’t look right to me. I will never use this company ever again! I usually don’t write negative reviews, this one is outrageous!

I am a real estate agent. Sewer Friendly has been my go-to company for sewer inspections and repairs for the last 7 years. Rob was trained by and worked with Mike (The founder of the company, and was the best there ever was). They don't charge extra to pull a toilet, can always get the clean out cap off, even it's rusted cast iron. The camera always makes it to the street. The aforementioned things are not always the case with other inspectors. They also repair sewers, and have done more jobs for me then I can count. I have never felt like they have spun an inspection to get a repair job. They have always been honest and upfront with me. Rob (and Mike before him) have gotten me out of plenty of jams. I fully recommend them without reservations.

I used this company twice for a sewer line replacement and a water line replacement , not only was their price the lowest the guarantee was the best . Nobody want's to spend money on this kind of thing but use them without worry ! thy are really good at what they do

We had a sewer line backed up and it was broken in places. Budget repaired the breaks and re-lined our pipes all the way down to the main line. Their verbal bid came in a bit below the other two bids, and after speaking with my wife and neighbor we went with Budget on basically a handshake. The work and service and clean up were top dollar. Very refreshing to do business with a family business that's all business and completely reliable. I'm very pleased and when my next plumbing project comes up, I know I'll be back. They patched my cement perfectly and filled the 2 holes in the yard and replaced the sod perfectly. My driveway is cleaner than before, or we'd not even know they had been there!
