We went for Sewer Friendly after a sewer scope revealed an issue with our pipe. Along every step of the way, Sewer Friendly went above and beyond - we simply couldn't be happier with their service, or strongly recommend them for any sewer repair/replacement.

Nina was incredibly responsive to all our communications, and the crew were amazing - The Narvarros and Jeff went above and beyond, spending extra time to make sure our new pipe would be installed to last.

My house had some extensive water intrusion from an external pipe. I was able to schedule an inspection/quote very quickly. Elliot was the administrator and he was very professional and responsive. Roberto and Devin came out to perform the inspection and provide some hydro-jetting service for our sewage line as well. They were so nice and helpful. We had a big job for Sewer Friendly and they did a great job. We didn't get competing bids because when there was sewer line repair on our house upon purchase and we sought bids from local companies, including a local West Seattle business (where we're located), folks were quite unreliable and only Sewer Friendly followed through on exactly their word, executing on the cheapest of multiple possible options (the cheapest option definitely made the most sense here in context).

We called them out to sleeve our entire side sewer line: over 200 feet! Rick took the time to help me understand the scope of the work and our options when he came out for the quote and was very knowledgeable on some potential issues in our sewer line we saw in the scope. The crew (Greg, James, and Johnny) got the work completed with only one additional day from our original rough expectation (6 days versus 5 days), which is pretty impressive given the crummy weather and the fact that 3 holes had to be dug and later filled, including one in concrete in a small street. There was no issue with inspection, holes were filed in very nicely, and they even covered the hole in our lawn with some sod because filling it in ended up leaving an ugly square in our yard otherwise (probably due to wild animals messing with the dug up grass). Thanks to Rick's detailed discussion with me upfront, there were no surprises in the work done and no unexpected work I had to be charged for.

The only minor criticism I have is that the person at the office that worked with me on the quote wasn't with the company a month later when work began (I chose the timeline to be a month out for unimportant reasons), and so there was some confusion between the work order and my original discussions with that individual on work to be done because there were several versions of their quote that had been produced in that original discussion. To their credit, the owner (can't recall her name) and Elliott were very easy to reach over the phone and respected all the original terms and quoted pricing without fuss, which I had email records of. Everyone from the front office to the crew was very professional and the crew was generally diligent about wearing a mask whenever I came out to talk to them.

Oh, and while they were out here Rick came out and helped me troubleshoot a tricky clogged drain in our laundry room. Excellent customer service the whole way. Would certainly work with Sewer Friendly again, but hopefully this fix is permanent so I won't have to!

Cameron came out, on time and was very professional and helpful about my sewer line. It turned out I did not have a back-up and he is redoing a previous bid for an open trench repair of one small section. He was obviously knowledgeable and courteous, and I will use them in the future.

We had a smelly shower drain issue, so we scheduled an appointment online to have them check out what the cause of the smell.
They came out on time, ran camera thru drain and sewer line to see any problems. They found no problem and it was just dried out sewer, so we didn't need to repair anything.
They did all these for free!!!!!

My wife and I had a sewer pipe broken in multiple places and a clogged vent stack. At first only the sewer pipe issue was clear, but once it was repaired the other issue presented itself. While other companies could not get us on their schedule for weeks or even provide us a rough cost estimate, Sewer Friendly was able to help us out immediately. First-class service from start to finish. I knew I had some pretty severe sewer problems and had some anxiety going into the process of figuring out how to get them fixed. Called Sewer Friendly based on a recommendation from a neighbor and was able to set up an estimate right away. Rick was prompt and friendly and provided a detailed and honest assessment of the work that would need to be done—he helped me understand what was wrong and what my options were on the spot. I decided to have the line hydro-jetted by Cameron and Greg who provided further information about next steps and soon after I had a competitive estimate. I decided to go with Sewer Friendly based on these positive interactions and very glad I did. The extensive work that then needed to be done was completed by crew manager Robert and the crew of Massa and Triston, and I’m guessing that these guys are the best in the business. It turns out there was severe blockage throughout the line and the work had to be done in tight spaces near a close neighbor and busy city streets, but Robert’s clear and frequent communication at every step of the process reassured me that professionals who had my best interests in mind were on the job. It took a few days and Robert and the crew were friendly and hard-working throughout; plus, the work was actually finished sooner than I thought it would be. These are the folks to call for professionalism, honesty, integrity, and high-quality work. Highly recommended.

I sourced three bids and Sewer Friendly came in the lowest and was able to do the work quickly, which was important because I had a break in my sewer line and it was almost unusable. Robert led the crew of James and Masa and they got the job done safely and efficiently, communicating with me along the way and trying to minimize down time. I found out later they are also a woman-owned business, so it's great to be able to support that. I am going to contract with them for some additional work (driveway drain) and highly recommend them to others.

We have two sewer lines from our house to the street and we've used Sewer Friendly to repair both of them at separate times, both under high stress, emergency circumstances. Rick, Cameron, Greg and Tristin all worked this week on a sewer problem that another company did a horrible job fixing - in other words - not fixed. Not only was this crew extremely knowledgeable, they were efficient, friendly professional and went above and beyond on our job. The crew had to dig down to the sewer line to replace parts that were improperly placed and were being invaded by roots. They got the job done quickly and at half the cost of other local companies.

I called Sewer Friendly on the weekend and they scheduled us for hydrojetting for Tuesday morning. Robel showed up right on time, was a great communicator about what he was going to do and informed me at every step of the process. We had the unfortunate experience of our line backing up into our basement. This had happened before, and we had a different company out that cleared the line, but said there was a break in the pipe and the floor drain was collapsed and they would have to jackhammer the floor to repair it. They quoted a hefty price. Enter Sewer Friendly...they were able to clear the floor drain without a problem (it was NOT collapsed), and discovered the break was not underneath concrete, but in the yard. Rick, Cameron, and two others (whose names I didn't catch) were professional, knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. I highly recommend Sewer Friendly. Oh, and it cost less than half what the first company wanted to charge!

The responses and work from Sewer Friendly have been fabulous. Tyler came out for the free estimate, scoped, and gave us all the information so we knew what we were dealing with. Jaime got us the estimate and paperwork quickly and we were up and running the very next week. Greg and Ryan came out to do the demo and excavation, repaired the pipe and kept us well-informed the whole way. Then Tyler came back with Jason, the GM, to do the full hydro-jetting. Jason told us all of the options we had, including a few different solutions for our concrete/drain replacement that they thought would be helpful for drainage going forward. After they left, Jason then personally followed-up with me on the phone when I had more questions. These guys do it all.

Sewer Friendly provided excellent service on a VERY difficult job! We bought a 1927 home and — as we later discovered — the sewer line probably hadn’t been updated since it was built. What we thought would be just a rootering job ended up being the discovery that our clay sewer pipe was broken every six inches… and that it had disintegrated ENTIRELY in some places. YIKES! Greg, James, and Tristan from Sewer Friendly helped us to feel totally confident despite all the old-house surprises, though — and despite our job being INSANELY complex, they persisted and got us up and running remarkably quickly. All the while, they were friendly as can be, and helped us to understand exactly what was going on. We felt like we were in excellent hands, and we’re so relieved that our old house now at least has a reliable sewer connection. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Sewer Friendly was Awesome! I called and they came out immediately to run a camera and a jet through our lines to unclog it. We had a full blockage and within an hour they had completely unblocked it. Jaime was the manager and Jacob was the technician that came out on the call. These guys just finished a side sewer project for my neighbor's and our shared line. We had the now famous 90 year old Seattle sewer pipes and one section had root intrusion. Rob and Jamie were fantastic in quoting up a couple different options. Jason was the crew lead and he was a total professional. I found all of the representatives of Sewer Friendly with whom I spoke or interacted to be professional, courteous, and responsive. The on-site repair people did a thorough inspection, limited their work to what I needed accomplished, and did a good clean-up following completion. I had two other companies inspect and bid the job, one of which inflated the project to include unnecessary and costly work and the other of which performed a superficial inspection and then never provided a bid proposal. Sewer Friendly was the class act.

Thank you Sewer Friendly for your prompt diagnosis, and repair of the problem. Jamie responded quickly to our distress call, arranging a visit and all paperwork was delivered via email timely. Jason provided a thorough assessment and explained the dilemma respectfully. He arranged for his colleagues, Ryan and Craig (Greg), to come out 2 days later. Their work was efficient and tidy, and they were able to show me the problem area once exposed. They complied with the inspectors request for an additional pea trap, and all sewer function was resolved. I am very grateful for their time and care in my yard, and appreciate their advice on future sewer needs.

We had a great interaction with Sewer Friendly. My only feedback (which I gave already and they were very receptive to) was around setting expectations for the day of - what we need to do to prep, when we cant use water/toilet. Otherwise, they were able to crank out the project in a day and I'm happy to have our old pipes lined to hopefully avoid any future issues.

I had a simple clogging that took little time for Jason to fix. The reason I am particularly happy about their professionalism is that they pointed out two other potential problems about other parts of my side sewer line. I know for a fact that the service my neighbor used earlier this year didn't catch the bigger problem in the shared part of the sewer connection. The folks at Sewer Friendly came to give a bid on resolving a recurring problem with roots clogging our sewer line. They were creative with the solution which saved us over $5k, and possibly more, by not having to dig under the sidewalk. Once selected, they completed the work on time and on budget. It's been at least 5 years since the work was completed and we haven't had any problems with the sewer line (knocking on wood).

The city crushed our sewer pipe during work on a water main. We had another company come out and dig the hole and then tell us that they could not do it and fill up the hole and leave! We called Sewer Friendly and they were incredibly competent, helpful, and efficient. The issue needed a lot of coordination with the city and it was very complicated and they handled everything in just a couple days. I could not be more elated with their service. We had tried on our own to get the city to do their part to no avail, and Sewer Friendly capably handled everything and fixed it well.

Sewer Friendly did a great job on the sewer lining project. They communicated promptly, were attentive and paid attention to safety. Ryan showed up after the main job was done to put the yard back together, including replanting shrubs and trees, hosing the pavement and watering the landscaping.

I requested an estimate for sewer repair based on a sewer scope I had done by another company and Sewer Friendly was able to get me the estimate same day, end of day. I'm a Realtor and we're always working with tight deadlines, so I can appreciate a fast turnaround. Thank you!!

They fixed an old repair that was failing and relined the crumbling old concrete pipe. They thoroughly inspected the previous work, the work of their subcontractors, and their own work at every stage, discovering and fixing unexpected problems that would have cost me in the future. They did this at a price lower than my other quote. Aaron and Greg were professional with us and with their subcontractors, and did not denigrate the company that had done previous work for me.

Rick from SewerFriendly came by my place to inspect and provide an estimate for cleaning a clogged culvert/storm drain at the foot of our driveway. (City wouldn't touch it.). A few bucketfuls of mud removed later, our drain was restored and there was no expensive bill! Rick was very knowledgeable and friendly, and if the drain ever does clog to the point that I can't handle it on my own, I'll be calling SewerFriendly to get it professionally cleaned.

Excellent service and results, as always. Condominium had a broken sewer line due to tree roots. I called Rob to come out and diagnose a clogged sewer line in my Seattle rental. It was a complicated and perpetual issue that needed colaboration with neighbors to replace a portion of line. Sewer Friendly did an amazing job, getting it unclogged for the tenants right away and started digging the very next day. At completion I have everything back to normal, site is clean and all cement is poured back.

Rob was trained by and worked with Mike (The founder of the company, and was the best there ever was). They don't charge extra to pull a toilet, can always get the clean out cap off, even it's rusted cast iron. The camera always makes it to the street. The aforementioned things are not always the case with other inspectors. They also repair sewers, and have done more jobs for me then I can count. I have never felt like they have spun an inspection to get a repair job. They have always been honest and upfront with me. Rob (and Mike before him) have gotten me out of plenty of jams. I fully recommend them without reservations.

We contacted SF after our home inspection sewer scope revealed a crack in the sewer line. Rob and Jaime were committed to answering all of our questions via email and phone (we had more than a few!) ahead of the repair. Adam and Kevin completed our job and they did so in stellar fashion. These guys were great- 100% would recommend. They arrived quickly to fix some offsets in my sewer- first the manager came and scoped out the job, and he impressed me by how well he knew the code and what was going on in the house. Their quote was also the best I got. The next day two friendly guys came to get it done. They helped connect me with an HVAC company for moving my AC unit. When a week later we found a leak due to a hidden pipe that wasn't to code just under the house, they arrived immediately and spent the whole day fixing it, without charging me, doing excellent work. Nice guys, good prices, extremely reliable- great service.

The City told me I was responsible for fixing a connection to their main sewer line located in the center of the street. Video footage of the broken connection was inconclusive as to who was responsible. Rob from Sewer Friendly, advocated tirelessly for me in meetings with the city, maintaining that the offset sewer line connection was due to the city’s defective wye. It wasn’t until the professional crew from Sewer Friendly did an amazing job of carefully excavating and exposing the city’s broken wye that The city assumed responsibility and repaired their faulty sewer main connection. The first company I received a bid from stated, “There is no way the city is going to assume responsibility for this!” Their bid was over double that of Sewer Friendly’s! Having sewer problems is stressful! I highly recommend Sewer Friendly to mitigate all your sewer needs. They are professional, friendly and treat you like family.

Robert was great but that is where it ended...Robert set out a plan for us but the office canceled us the day of saying they don't have the equipment to do what we need and just canceled us returned the money...didn't provide an alternative solution or try to contact any colleagues that they could hand over to. Their answer was we got you water...got me water is us siphoning water off our incredible neighbor temporarily...now we are going to have to find another company will do this for us but at a minimum we will have to wait another week.

Sewer Friendly have completed the job of replacing a main sewer line segment clogged with roots for $4,000. Now that I know how much work it really is, I feel that it is far overpaid. My bad, I didn't shop around enough.

We have a problem with our drain backing up and Rick came out right away and scoped the sewer line free of charge and gave me an estimate to repair it. He was really friendly and helpful.

Sewer Friendly was fantastic to work with! A shout out to Sherrie, Rick, Elliott, Roberto, Maza, Tristan and John! Excellent, clear and fast communication with Elliott over email and on the phone. We hired them to fix our bellied sewer line, install an external cleanout, backflow preventer and to provide an estimate for fixes to the line we share with 2 other neighbors. As you can imagine, that involves a lot of information prepped prior to neighbor buy-in. Once we get the greenlight from all neighbors, we hope to proceed with Sewer Friendly for both the fix to the neighbor's tie in and the permaliner to the main. As for the completed work, the crew was punctual, incredibly friendly and hard-working. In our case, our property didn't allow for an excavator, so they had to hand dig 10 feet down! What a feat! During the process, they were very careful to place the dug-up dirt in the designated areas, keeping my flowers safe. Upon completion, they documented all fixes with photos and texted them to me for my reference. Throughout the process, the foreman, Roberto was phenomenal. What a great guy! Superb communication with the crew and with us, exhibited great judgement on the best course of action to take with the project and was just very sweet. I would definitely recommend Sewer Friendly!

Rob came out to my house on 11/16 as I need an estimate for connecting my house to city sewer. He said he would have the estimate to me in 1 week. Followed up via email and voicemail on 12/11 & sent another email on 1/1 with no response from the company. Sorry but can't recommend a copy who doesn't do what they say or respond to customers.
