Hired then to replace a bathroom exhaust fan and repair leaking sink. Fixed the sink perfectly, but installed the fan incorrectly and covered the exhaust fan of the heater so it broke after 1 day. Also didn't do a great job of the patch work so it is uneven which you can see in the picture. Rather then pay again to come back in just going to do it myself. They did give partial refund though.

I haven’t used Fixer yet for home repair services, but I plan to call them very soon. I just learned about the company today when I suddenly had a flat tire several miles from my house while picking up my child from school. I made it to a gas station, but the employee there couldn’t do much for me, and I had no experience changing a tire, and no AAA membership. My luck changed when another customer pumping his gas nearby noticed my predicament, came over and offered to help. He found the source of the leak, pumped my tire back up enough for me to get to a tire shop, and gave me some helpful advice. I noticed he was wearing a shirt with “Fixer” on it, and when I asked about it, he told me he worked for the company as a handyman. He couldn’t have been any better of a representative for them! He was incredibly generous to take the time out of his day to help a stranger stranded at a gas station, and he was very intelligent and knowledgeable. He is exactly the kind of person I would love to hire to work on my house! I’ll update my review once I do have some work done with Fixer, but I wanted to go ahead and get this endorsement posted.

I made an appointment with Fixer Seattle for a single toilet replacement. The morning of the appointment the single became two. I called early to inquire if they possibly could install both the same day. They were so accommodating. The plumber was punctual, the job done (both!!!) and the work was outstanding. I also discovered they also offer a variety of services for different home projects--carpentry, electrical, painting. I highly recommend Fixer Seattle for your one stop needs. I will certainly utilize them again.

We had a great experience using Fixer for the first time last week. Quick response (came out same day, put in a request around 8am, and someone came by 1pm), transparent pricing before the work began, and the person who did the work took time to explain what they were doing and why. They even showed us why what our original scope of the project wasn’t needed and we’d be able to save money by doing it differently. Refreshing, considering we had to have them come out to fix another general contractor’s unfinished work (we just gave up on the other general contractor). Would use Fixer again in the future.

We needed an old dishwasher removed and a new one installed. It turned into an all day project with the first installer saying he couldn’t do it. The previous owners had built up the kitchen floor with plywood under the linoleum apparently after the dishwasher was installed so the old dishwasher couldn’t come out. Kei from Fixer ended up having to cut a section of the flooring out (luckily we are going to replace it soon anyway). I was thrilled that Fixer was able to get someone to my house the same afternoon to take care of it. Kei was helpful and persistent and did a great job with a tricky situation. Would definitely use them again Abe recommend to others!

I contacted Fixer Seattle to fix my toilets and it was the first time to use Fixer service. I had a very good experience and the plumber was very responsive and shared all problems and progress. The new toilets work well so far.

Hired Fixer to install a ceiling light and they did a phenomenal job. They were able to fully mount the new housing replacement for the light in half an hour despite unexpected complications. Prices were reasonable and everything was very professional.

I used Fixer to repair a balcony door that had become stuck open after the heat wave this summer. They were very communicative, prompt, and got the repair completed in less than two hours. Would definitely use them again!

Fixer helped me last minute to make repairs in my rental home and they were wonderful! They quickly identified the cheapest and best option to solve the issue, and when we had to pivot they made sure we took an approach that made sure would work for the long term. I used Fixer to patch up some drywall holes from a plumbing repair. The overall experience was really nice - SMS communication on scheduling, answering questions - very cool service overall. The actual work was fast and complete, and I liked how there was visual documentation of the project – photos of the project (before), and then photos taken of the repair (after). Was very easy to book and manage the project, and overall price matched expectations of the work. Will definitely use again.

Everyone I had contacted to fix our garbage disposal and bathroom fan was booked out 2-4 weeks. Was able to make an appointment with Fixer and have someone come out the next day. Technician went above and beyond, was knowledgeable, respectful, and explained what he was doing. He fixed the garbage disposal quickly and diagnosed the vent fan motor as needing to be replaced.

Fixer was an extremely pleasant experience. The professional cake in a timely manner and provided a wealth of knowledge and consultation for repairs and installations I was looking to do on my home whilst installing my garbage disposal. Looking forward to using services again.

We have had huge difficulty in Seattle getting handyman type work done. We decided to try Fixer and what a fantastic surprise. What I liked is:
1. Super easy, fast app based interface for setting up the projects and getting a very accurate pricing forecast. 2. On-time, friendly and highly competent professional showed up and got the jobs done perfectly and outstanding quality and follow-thru. 3. Cost came in exactly as expected, photos and on-line record of the projects with super clear web based interface, impressive! I have nothing to report other than five star service and exceeded my expectations, which is really appreciated considering my past experiences trying to get house jobs done. This is a well thought out program coupled with great technology and doers. Go for it.

I had an extremely great experience hiring Fixer to fix a faucet in my rental property. They were on-time, professional and very open about what and how they do. Tenants were happy with the service and I had access to all necessary information for my records. Highly recommend!

I contacted at least 4 different people trying to get my garbage disposal and bathroom fan fixed. Everyone was booked out weeks or just didn't even respond. I found fixer and literally had someone arrive the next day. He was professional, super helpful, and went above and beyond in his service. Fixed everything quickly and explained what was done clearly. I can't recommend these folks highly enough!!

Booked an appointment for various things around the house like hanging photos, repainting a wall, etc. Took the day off work, cleared all the surfaces and pulled the furniture from the wall Picked a 3-4pm arrival window, and at 3:50 they texted to say that they weren't coming and they'd auto-booked me for Monday morning at 9am and offered me a discount. Only a recorded customer service message at the number and only a text message asking me about the new slot. Really poor service

Fixer’s biggest plus is that they offer services super fast! My technician was friendly and helpful and was able to diagnose the problem and recommend next steps. Booking, payment and follow up were easy.

I contacted them for door bell fix. Kei cam in and helped diagnose the issue. Even though he was not able to perform the real fix, but he gave me useful suggestions. And later on, he helped me fix a few issues regarding dryer and light. Also with follow-up communication with them, they were very responsive, and kindly answered all my questions.

On time and clear pricing. Good work was done efficiently. The only negative is that they seem expensive. I don't know the going rate for these types of services, but $300 to install a dog door seems like a lot to me.

Two members of the fixer team came and installed a TV mount, hung a mirror and a knife rack for me. They were very nice, on time and worked quickly and efficiently. I will absolutely use them again.

These guys were great to fix the door of my rental unit that I don't live near. HIghly recommend, the updates during the repair process gave me piece of mind. I already have upcoming projects that I plan to use them for.

Garbage disposal stopped working because of a faulty switch. Most of the electricians were asking for a lot and not ready to come next day. I was completely new to Fixer and thought of trying them out. Nick (fixer) was nice, professional and did the work pretty fast. I really like they charge by hour and not by task. This way i can use them to do multiple things.

I hired fixer twice in a row last week. In both instances the team showed up same day (which is insane given other contractors were months out and likely more expensive)!! Did the job on time. Hands down the most seamless and professional experience I have had with such tasks - and I have worked on some massive remodels/projects. I would hire them anyday

I was looking for a “handyman” to remove/replace several broken AC units that were jammed into small window openings in an old workspace. Now I first contacted the highest rated handyman services on Google and they all declined the job. That’s when I came across Fixer.com.

The web site steers you into making an appointment right there, which frightened me a little because I didn’t want to make any commitments without knowing if they could actually do the work. After some research, I went ahead and booked an appointment. The process was easy – more like ordering food delivery than what I was used to with other companies. There were many options for setting up a day and time (although no weekends yet). After making the appointment, I received a confirmation email and then an hour later, I got an email with a time estimate range for the job. Since Fixer gives you a rate depending on your zip code, I guess you can estimate the cost of the project.

Fast forward to appointment day - Sherrie and Jacob arrived on time; they were very friendly. They looked at the project/space, gave me an updated time estimate and then went to work. When they were done, they left. They didn’t even ask for payment. I got a text and email later with the invoice. I did notice that the actual time taken was over two hours greater than the estimate. But I’m actually ok with that. It was an unusual job so it would be very difficult to calculate how long it would take to complete.

I went to Fixer.com to pay, easy enough. However, there was an option to leave a tip for the “fixers,” with different suggested amounts. That was unexpected. It’s a different model than I’m used to. But I’m totally ok with anything that encourages better service or rewards good service. I’ll just have to account for that in the budgeting stage moving forward. Sherrie and Jacob were very pleasant and I’m extremely pleased with my experience with Fixer.com. I highly recommend them.

This place is garbage. Don't waste your time. All they do is cancel and reschedule and rinse and repeat. This is the third time I've had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Umm no thanks, I'll go with someone who can make an appointment and KEEP an appointment. Once, I understand, twice, ok maybe, but 3 times. That's unprofessional, and not worthy of my money. I would rate 0 if I could, horrible company, stay away!

We had our oven range hood and an outdoor light installed by 2 fixers. (Jacob and Torch) They were so kind and helpful. We will absolutely be using Fixer again. It's just amazing that they are true handypeople and can help with so many projects around the house.

Had a wonderful experience using Fixer for our dishwasher install. Torch was super friendly and an expert in what he was doing. Our dishwasher required extra handy work than expected but Torch found great solutions to get it all done. I also was impressed on all the text/email updates I was receiving from Fixer. Scheduling and payment was a breeze! We will definitely reach out for any needs for our house in the future!

We used Fixer to take care of a list of small tasks around the house that we never ended up having the time to get to. The concierge service is super responsive via text, and the Fixer himself, Torch, arrived exactly on time, worked quickly and very efficiently and did a great job. Fixers are also fully fledged employees of the company with a salary and benefits.

I had an excellent experience with Fixer. We live in Ballard and needed some simple things fixed around the house like a leaky shower and an unstable shelf. I called fixer and they immediately sent someone out the very same day in just a few hours of my phone call. Roman was our guy, and he was super nice, professional and efficient. Their pricing is fair and they have a concierge available if you need a live human to talk to. They send out a text so you can follow along on where the technician is en route, and follow up immediately upon completion. Something was wrong with the shower after Roman had already left, and they don’t usually work on the weekends but Roman came back out on a Saturday and fixed it at no extra charge! Talk about great service!! We will definitely be using Fixer again and would highly recommend them!

I had my tv mounted along with a heavy mirror and knife rack hung. Two fixers came out and got everything done quickly and efficiently. I will absolutely be using them again when I need something done.

I absolutely love Fixer and highly recommend hiring this company to help with your home. I hired Sherrie twice to help with general repairs, paining, light fixture installation, and bathroom hardware installation. She was on-time (if not early), was super detailed in going through my needs and was incredibly clean in finishing the job.

We used fixer for installation of two faucets in the kitchen and in our bathroom. We also asked for advice about changing our bath tub faucet. Overall, we are very satisfied with the experience. They had wide availability. Ramon was on time, professional and knowledgeable.

We got a receipt via a text message link but it would be nice to also get it as an email.

Fixer was able to get me in touch with someone comfortable diagnosing my electrical issue in my house. The friendly agent was on time and was able to get to the root of the issues and gave me ideas to tackle my wiring issues.

Very happy with Fixer, we've had a bunch of random issues pop up after moving into a new house from hanging large pictures into plaster walls, fixing wonky doors & handles, small plumbing issues and we have lots of other issues we'll be calling them on in the future.

Fixer arrived the next day after (quite timely) and assessed my damage on day one. He then took the necessary steps to get my ceiling prepped for the next visit. After a short discussion, he told me that he would be back in another day to complete the task. True to his word he was! Did a great job and fixed my issue. Very pleased with the service.

I had a great experience with Fixer, they are responsive and usually able to come within a day of me filing my request. I’ve had a couple fixers come help with my requests and they’ve always been professional and on time and I’ve never had any issues. I will say that the first time around I had an electrical issue I was hoping to get help with and I would have been better off hiring an electrician. I wish they had not accepted that job and communicated it to me since didn’t get much done and I had to hire an electrician anyway.

I had them repair drywall which was a two day job. Day 1 went OK, and day 2 went especially well; the fixer came out and touched up some prior work and really did a good job. Jayme made things right when we had some issues and appreciate that level of customer service.

Jacob and Felix were great. They showed up exactly on time, removed a built in bar, took it all away, and cleaned up when they were done. All in two hours. They brought all their own tools and things they needed. Polite, competent and efficient. I easily paid the bill online through their website and I appreciated being able to leave a tip. I would definitely use again as we have trouble changing lightbulbs.

I had a variety of tasks that needed to be completed: hang large framed artwork; install smoke detectors; regrout drain in shower and move curtain rod and patch previous holes. Isaac was able to complete all tasks within a reasonable time period. I was very satisfied with the work and will use them again.

I used a fixer for an electrical problem from a circuit breaker. They try hard every minute to figure out the problem and explain the details kindly. The price was reasonable.

I do recommend it. I needed to hang some paintings, I placed my service request pretty late at night and they answered back pretty quickly. A handyman was doing the work the next morning.
