Sherif installed a new water heater and recirculation pump for my home in North Capitol Hill. My home is fairly old and my water heater was over twenty years old. It was my first time replacing a water heater and when I gave Sherif a call he patiently walked me through the possible outcomes and pricing for each option. Sherif gave me all the information without me committing to any kind of service. Also, Sherif had me send photos of my water heater to him so that he could assess the situation. I found this much more effective than many of the other plumbing companies that insist on a visit and $100+ charge before providing a quote. Sherif was very communicative on the day of my service. One of his earlier jobs had run longer but he kept me in the loop the entire time, letting me know when his ETA was going to be. When Sherif and his partner arrived they did the job with great care, making sure not to scuff up any part of the house while removing and installing the old and new water heaters. Overall it was a great experience. I highly recommend Watertite Plumbing.

I'm beyond happy with Watertite's workmanship! Sharif and his partner did an excellent job at my house. I've contacted several plumbers for updating the galvanized plumbing in my house, and of the few that actually came out and wrote a bid, Sharif actually followed through and was prompt. His bid was also the most affordable and he was the most available. Extremely pleasant to work with, and outstanding customer service. When issues arose, he was quick to solve them. He offered a small discount for scheduling delays that were out of his control, but I opted for installation assistance instead, to which he was more than happy to help me with. Sharif went above and beyond to ensure we were getting the best service. He is very knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in his work and service. I definitely recommend him if you are in King or Pierce County.

Sharif came out and was absolutely top-notch to work with. He was very transparent (not at all salesly) when talking about the longevity of our furnace, was able to fix a component of our Nest thermostat free-of charge, and gave a recommendation about how to self-service our water heater. I'm so glad I found Sharif. Now I have a plumber I can trust. Things that set Sharif and Watertite Plumbing apart:
1. When you call, you're actually talking directly to a plumber (Sharif). No intermediate person who just does scheduling and can't answer any of your questions.
2. Sharif will generally give you an estimate over the phone based on a description and pictures. None of this paying someone $100 just to come out and look at it nonsense. He'll also be honest about what factors that can't be evaluated this way might cause the estimate to change, but generally will stick with his original estimate and that's what you'll pay for the whole job.
3. He will keep in direct contact with you and update you if something's changed his schedule and he won't be able to make it when he estimated he would (no 4-hour windows sitting around at home wondering if someone will ever show up).
4. He'll tell you honestly about the price of different options and the pros and cons.
5. He'll use appropriate urgency to address a problem.

My interactions:
I first contacted Sharif about installing a smart water shutoff. Based on pictures, he gave me an estimate and said what problem might arise that would require additional work. This was totally different than the handful of other plumbers I called, where I spoke to a scheduling person who wanted to schedule a $100 for someone to come by for an estimate. I ended up installing the shutoff myself, but based on my interactions, I knew who I would go to the next time I had a plumbing problem. So when the waterline to my house started leaking, I called up Sharif on a Friday afternoon. He was able to come by that evening and worked in the dark to dig up and identify the leak. We talked through options and what they would cost. Because I had old rusted out galvanized, the whole thing had to be replaced. Throughout the process Sharif was communicative about the work needed and when he'd be doing it, didn't charge more than his original estimate (even when it turned out he needed to also move my interior shutoff), and gave some advice on unrelated plumbing things (like how I could make my sewage extractor less stinky).

Next time I have a plumbing issue, I wouldn't consider calling anyone else.

Watertite Plumbing was fantastic to deal with for replacing all of the old galvanized plumbing in our house. Sharif was responsive to my request for an estimate and provided one promptly. He also recommended only what was necessary and helped figure out which lines should be replaced. The cost was reasonable for very good quality work. They did an excellent job on replacing the lines and tried to do as little wall damage as possible to open up the walls for access to the lines. They also kept everything clean as they worked. Sharif was patient and helpful in answering all of my questions. I highly recommend Watertite Plumbing for honest, quality work.

Sharif came the next morning after we called him and installed the water line for our fridge. He worked very quickly and cleaned up after himself. Happy to report my fridge makes ice again! Sharif repaired my burst hose bib which had frozen over the winter. The connection was in a difficult to access area, and a previous plumber had quoted me $2000 for the job. Sharif finished the job over two short visits and charged me $470. I was extremely pleased with his service for a few different reasons:

- I called him four times over the course of the repair job, and he picked up right away each time.
- He was very transparent and forthcoming about the details of the job. The knowledge he gave me about hose bib maintenance and operation was at least as valuable to me as the actual repair he made.
- He gave a solid quote within the first phone call, and the final charge matched that initial amount.

I will be going to Sharif for all my future plumbing issues for as long as I live in the Seattle area.

One very minor nitpick: he and his associate did track a little bit of drywall/masonry dust on my floor. Ideally, they would have cleaned that up before they left. But again - a very minor issue that doesn’t even preclude my rating them five stars.

5 star experience all around. I was a bit skeptical because they are a newer company, but I submitted my request on their site and Sharif got back to me the same day. He was easy to communicate with and I was able to get an actual idea of the estimated cost ahead of time, which was very reasonable. He was able to come out the next day and arrived exactly on time. Friendly and efficient, he got my new water pressure regulator installed beautifully and with a warranty. I'm very pleased to have no more drips and also to have perfect water pressure again. So refreshing to have someone local who I can trust after trying with the big corporate companies. I look forward to future business with Watertite Plumbing. I highly recommend Watertite Plumbing, as my experience with Sharif during my remodel of my kitchen and two bathrooms offered three visits by him to complete the different stages of the project. He and his teammate were on time, professional and courteous with good mask wearing practices. Definitely will call on Watertite in the future if the need arises.

Our furnace had to be replaced urgently and despite the current supply shortage, sharif was able to find and install a new furnace for us in days, as opposed to weeks/months that were quotes to us from other companies. He is honest, knowledgeable and efficient. Predict he will go far in this industry.
