We had two bad experiences with other rooter companies sent by the warranty company. I decided to hire my own rooter service and found out Rooter Hero, San Jose through Google. I am so impressed with their service. Very professional, they solved the issue for me with real surprisingly good price, even though they worked a really long time, and stayed almost 8:45pm. The most amazing part, other than thinking how to make most money from me but how to solve the issue with minimum cost for me. If I have any plumbing issue later, I know where to call. Tim came out within the appointed time for a water heater flush. Quoted a price, I gave him a coupon, and he proceeded to flush and inspect the water heater. Done within an hour and he advised me to wait about 45 mins. to 1 hr. for water temperature to be nominal. Very efficient and professional.

Ben Franklin Plumbing has been out several times this year for various jobs. They have proved timely, reliable and experienced. Their plumbers are pleasant and patient , do a thorough inspection, and explain what needs to be done and why. Their work and materials are good, and they clean up afterwards. They may be more costly than other companies, but so far they have done quality work at our home. I am satisfied as plumbing has to last years, so it is worth the investment and peace of mind.

My dog is a total menace and needs to let everyone know he’s in the room. I wasn’t sure how the tech would feel, and I was willing to put him away but the repair guy was very nice and absolutely comfortable around the dog. He just had such a nice calm demeanor and I appreciated the lack of drama.

We thought there wasn’t a fee for the inspection and quote portion of their visit. They charged us for all the time they were at our home.

Switched out super old water heater in less than 2 hours. Very fast and very helpful. Responded quickly to my request for a new water heater and took care of the job fast and the new water is fantastic!

Jose and team were wonderful.

On a workday evening, both bathrooms in the house started backing up. The next day, one plumber used snake and showed me root penetration into the sewer pipe in front yard. Quote for trenchless piping in the front yard was given. I decided to shop around and called Pipe-Thru Trenchless Plumbing.

Jose showed up within 2 hours of my call. He turned out to be quite familiar with rules of my City, and those are complex rules by my standard. He provided very thorough explanation, which gave me the confidence that he and his team know the work and have done it many times before, including dealing with delays by the City... Quote came very quickly to my email inbox.

I gave his company the work. The rest, like what they say, is history. I only wish that my City is as efficient and customer-oriented as Jose and his team are.

I also asked Jose to look into water pipes (not sewer pipe or waste water pipe) like re-pipe at a property in a different city in the Bay Area, and he is familiar with the rules and behaviors of that city too! Love it. I will definitely call Pipe-Thru the next time I have relevant need.

I needed to replace the street sewage clean out from 3 inch pipe to city specified 4 inches. Freddy gave the best quote and did all required paper work and complete the project in a timely fashion. After the recent storm, they come back to repair a sink hole in the same spot.
