Early Saturday morning I realized I had no hot water. I went into the garage to see our 9 year old water heater leaking profusely. We've used Ace in the past for a disposal issue so I called them again. They accommodated my schedule and came that day. I was extra fortunate to have the capable and professional team of Eugenio R. and Edgar come to my home. They worked all afternoon and into the night finding the perfect water heater replacement and installing it securely. They were respectful, as unobtrusive as possible, did a stellar job and left the garage space completely clean. Thank you Eugenio and Edgar.

I wanted to take a moment to share my great experience for the exceptional service that I received from these guys. My husband and I had a bit of an emergency situation last Thursday when we discovered that our water heater was leaking and we were unable to locate the source of the problem.

After making multiple phone calls to local plumbers, we were feeling quite discouraged. However, we stumbled upon this company's website and were immediately impressed by the glowing reviews from other satisfied customers. When we called, we were asked to provide some photos and were given a quote right away - a refreshing change from the other plumbers we had contacted who were unable or unwilling to provide an estimate.

The next day, Paul and his team arrived promptly at 10:30 am and quickly got to work. They finished everything at 11:30am!!!
I was impressed by their efficiency and attention to detail, as well as their willingness to go above and beyond by checking out the garage located under my unit.

Not only was the work completed within an hour, but there were no surprises or hidden costs-exactly what we had been hoping for. It has now been two days since the repair was completed, and our water heater is working perfectly.

I appreciated the added peace of mind that comes with the one year labor warranty that the company provided. Knowing that they stand behind their work and are willing to come back and check on things if necessary is truly reassuring.

Garry was awesome! My radiant floor heart wasn't working and I'd had others look at it and it was taking forever for the other folks to test different components and try to ID what was wrong. Garry came out and figured out what was wrong in less than an hour. He replaced some wires in my tankless water heater that were in bad shape and that did the job! He also helped me get my nest thermostat reset which was a more involved process than I ever expected it to be. The service was better than I had hoped for. If I ever have a problem with my heat or water heater again, Garry will be the first person I call.

Daniel showed up on time 9 a.m. Thursday, cleared out the tree roots that seem to be the cause of the clogged garage to street drain, and tested it afterward. The entire job was done in under an hour. Very professional. The job was done with 60 day service warranty (one service recall). My wife was very happy with the job performance.
The cost is high in my opinion at $365/hour. Daniel did tell my wife about the cost/hour upfront and the wife did agree to it. I am open to any correction on my perception on cost since I do not know current typical average rate. My prior data points were that these kind of jobs should be in the $100-150 range, and I am willing to pay up to $200.

Genteel was really good at answering the phone and getting a tech out to the house. The problem: They quoted $3800 for a water heater install, very basic took about 1 hour. I didn't shop around - didn't expect their to be variation for this service, assumed they were charging fair prices. I got curious and called Home Depot for full install for same model at same location and they quoted $2000 all in, independent plumber in SF $2000 - $2500. Would never recommend these guys if their business model is to overcharge in an emergency.

My basement has had problems for years with water backing up at least twice a year. Chosen installed some new piping and did a sewer cleanout. The water runs more efficiently than before, and I think the new pipes will perform better than the old plastic ones.

unprofessional and irresponsible

Of the plumbers we got quotes from, the were not only reasonably priced, but prompt, responsive, and clear in explaining the rationale between the work they do and don't recommend. Several other plumbers recommended more drastic work, but they respectfully disagreed and told us why. I respect that honesty and professionalism and would recommend them.
