Robert was my technician. He was very professional, organized and knowledgeable. We had to remove the earthquake valve from PG&E meter to ours and I couldn't have asked for better professional. Thank you Cabrillo for an amazing job and staff. We definitely use you services again.

Robert Burkett and his crew replaced our 75 gallon, high-recovery hot water heater with same-day service. We have used Cabrillo Plumbing and Heating for twenty years, and have found their technicians are always courteous, professional, and on time.

Worked with Frank Cichetti for the third time (we asked for him) and as usual the results were great. Frank is a steady guy, who likes to work the problem as engineers say and know what he is dealing with before diving in to just finish the job. Very professional approach that is much appreciated. He diagnosed, with consultation with the manufacturer, a problem we were having with a Toto Neorest hi-tech toilet. He then performed our 2-year descaling maintenance on the tankless water heater in my condo flat and the one below as well. Best thing about working with Cabrillo is that they let you know in advance what the charges will be so that there are no surprises. I have used Cabrillo since 2004 on projects large and small at various houses I have owned and while they are on the high side of pricing, they are the smartest and most professional plumbing and heating company I have ever used. Brian tried to snake my sewer pipe but unsuccessful due to a broken pipe from tree root. He brought 2 apprentices (Steve and Matt) the following day and completed a spot repair on the same day. Steve did most of the heavy lifting with Matt's help. I was pleased with their hard work and dedication to get the job done. I would recommend them to anyone willing to pay a little more for a reliable service and positive experience. I am happy to have my house back. Thank you again Cabrillo team!

Overall good service and was helpful. Hoped for a better solution but what can you do. Didn’t get much info as to the diagnosis but was given an other option which was to replace the water heater which I never expected to do. Not sure if I needed to replace but I was in a need for hot water for the tenants. The Rheem water heater was not as good as they use to be which didn’t leave me much of an option. I ended up replacing the heater with something more reliable. I know I could of gotten a better price if I had the time and thats were they get you and I get it's a buisness.
Overall good job. Just not really given a full explanation of the problem and solutions other then a possanle up sale that's the reason for a three star.

Cabrillo Plumbing is great! Booked us immediately and called/text me 30-min. before when the technician Frank showed up. Frank is awesome - professional, patient, and through. He examined the situation and explained/ educated me on options; did requires; and emailed me a copy of the invoice before he left. What a great customer experience! Only wish the repair rate was a bit lower - which is out of his control.

My husband is handicapped and needed safety bars installed in the bathroom. Cabrillo Plumbing is my go to company for all things plumbing. David Preciado was the utmost professional and provided great insight on where to place the bars for maximum safety. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cabrillo Plumbing.

Our tankless water heater kept going out and our home warranty sent out a different company who didn't fix it and said we were going to have to replace the whole unit but that it wasn't covered by our home warranty. We decided to call Cabrillo to get a second opinion and our tech Brian B arrived on time and was super friendly. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and fixed our heater with without out replacing any parts, just a quick cleaning and reconnecting of part. He was super helpful in teaching me about my heater, how to service it and when i would eventually need to replace it. We can take hot showers again! This was about as good as a service company's service can get. 5 Stars!

The entire process for putting in a new furnace and hot water heater was very smooth. Frank was very efficient when developing the quote. When he needed more technical information another Cabrillo person quickly appeared to check the venting on the roof. By the end of the day, we had a quote. We engaged them to do the work and they appeared on time. Frank, Celes, and Mark were efficient and very personable. They fit the bill as The people you want in your home. The work was completed as scheduled and quoted. My garage was left as clean [possibly cleaner] than when they began the job.
This was our first experience with Cabrillo, but it will not be our last.

We had a problem with our furnace and could not get an adequate amount of heat for the house. Cabrillo sent the service technician, Tony, out on Monday and again this morning to work on a furnace at our home. He was extremely professional and conscientious and was able to deduce the problem quickly, and completely explained the problem. We had to wait for P G & E to come fix the gas problem on their service line. Tony came back and made sure the furnace was in perfect working order.

Bob has come to both the house and the apartment building to work on plumbing issues, and he is fantastic.

I called Cabrillo for a couple of minor problems, which were easily solved; the technician, Frank Cichetti, was on time, pleasant and competent. in doing one of the repairs, he noticed a potentially disastrous problem which we hadn't been aware of. he spent a long time explaining, and we decided to go with his suggestions. the next morning, he and another man, Eric, showed up several minutes early, and they worked 16 hours over two days. the work is beautiful. Frank is clearly knowledgable, careful, and competent. we are very grateful. solving the problem wasn't cheap, but we're glad we had it done. thank you, Frank and Eric.

2018: Cabrillo installed our new furnace a couple of years ago (see below) and we were extremely pleased. We purchased the service agreement and are even MORE pleased. Everyone is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Our service technician the past two years has been Robert Burkett. He arrives on time, explains process, knows his work, offers additional assistance and follows up. It's a pleasure to have Robert in our home. We have not had a single problem with our furnace, but we're pleased to have the service contract to keep things on track. I highly recommend Cabrillo and Robert Burkett.

2016: Our first experience with Cabrillo was this week when our furnace stopped working. Office personnel returned our call on Sunday and set an appointment for Monday (Presidents' Day), then called Monday to confirm our appointment, all in a very upbeat and friendly manner. Frank Cichetti arrived on time, assessed our issues and presented several options. Frank did not rush through, but took the time to answer all our questions. We were pleased to see Frank return to install our new furnace. He was on time, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient and extremely considerate of our home. Again, he took the time to walk us through the changes and what to expect. We will call Cabrillo (and hopefully Frank Cichetti) for all our plumbing and heating needs in the future. We are extremely pleased with the results!

Steve and Erick were great! They installed a new tankless water heater like pros taking the time to do everything just right. The company's communications by e-mail and texts kept me up to date through out the process, I was never guessing what was going on. I would deffently recommend them!

Our water heater broke early on a Saturday morning and flooded our garage. In despair, I called Cabrillo, who received my call with the most upbeat, cheerful and helpful voice!! To my shock, Cabrillo was able to schedule Robert and Oliver to come out ONE hour later. I thought they would come out simply to inspect, and then schedule a follow up appt to install a new water heater some other day. To my DELIGHT, they completely replaced the water heater THAT day, spending about 5-6 hours at our house so that never had to go without hot water. The team they sent out was amazing. So cheerful, upbeat, and extremely professional. Robert was absolutely amazing, gave us updates throughout the day, and provided excellent customer service. He got us set up with a maintenance program so this won't happen to us in the future. As I was paying the bill, Robert noticed our faucet on our sink was in need of repair. He went out of his way to explain to me exactly how to order the exact part I needed from the manufacturer. From the first phonecall, to the handwritten thank you note in the mail a week later, we could not be more impressed with Cabrillo. Thank you!!!

Cabrillo saved my flooding garage! I have used them twice, once for clearing up a clogged floor drain in my garage and once for fixing the plumbing in my toilet and replacing an old heater. Both times I was lucky to have Brian helping me. Brian is extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and prompt. Despite the heavy rain storm outside Brian fixed the garage drain within 30 minutes and now I have a dry garage again. We were having toliet issues - no way around it, we needed a new toliet installed. We called around looking for assistance and luckily for us Brian from Cabrillo came out. He was just amazing. From the professional and polite attitude, his readiness to look at a few options, and then the very quick install. While we were still waiting on other plumbing companies to just give us options (a few days, some have yet to respond to us), Brian had exhausted every potential avenue with his company and gave us the best solution within an hour.

We recently had two water heaters installed by Cabrillo. Their work was meticulous. They showed up on time, neat appearance, thoroughly evaluated and explained the problems with the water heaters, venting, etc. Work was completed in a timely, efficient manner. Erick was a long-time employee of CABRILLO as are most of their employees I gather. Erick was recently part of the team installing an HVAC system and MiniSplit system in my home. As 95% of the work was done on the first floor of my home, we passed each other all day long. Erick was so patient, a true gentleman. I enjoyed our short conversations over the week he was here. He and all the installers were so kind to let me know what was happening at each phase of the installation. He answered my many questions clearly and informatively. He and the team consciously cleaned up every day and stored supplies so that I could bring my car into the garage every night. Erick and Daniel both worked closely with my neighbor to create parking spaces on the street for my car and the company truck. I overheard many conversations between Cabrillo's employees. They always seemed to have respect for each other and me. No arguments and much confirming with each other. They all wanted to do their best work and it showed in their actions. I so appreciate having worked with a company that has actual morals and a high standard for their work and the treatment of customers as well as their employees and subcontractors. I had full trust and faith in CABRILLO. If you have a small or large job, I believe you can't do better than calling CABRILLO. We had occasion to call these guys when our toilet was in need of service. I found out that they have been in business for over 50 years and told me that they have a rigorous interview process where they only accept 1 in 50 applicants. They also drug test so this makes me feel safer about who I'm inviting into my home. Another thing I appreciate is the fact that they guarantee their work. Though they are not the least expensive guys in town, they are imho the best choice for these matters...

Justin was the reservation manager I talked to to arrange the appointment. He was very good at listening to what I had to say and didn't interrupt. He also made sure that he understood my request in its entirety by echoing what I said back to me. He had a way about him that put me at ease.

Cabrillo's Brian Bufford was punctual when came over to answer the service call. (I think he's personally been in the business for over 20 years) Not only was he knowledgeable, he was kind and respectful when explaining the details...very easy-going. He wore what looked like shower caps on his shoes so that my floor wouldn't get dirty.

Dave #600 did a fabulous job repairing my leaking bathroom sink, The installation was perfect, professional, and managed with ease and skill.

My ancient furnace recently died; literally went up in smoke. Frank from Cabrillo helped me figure out what I needed, talked me out of some things I didn't need, and solved some other problems he spotted while he was here (like all of our ducting being too small to carry the air needed to heat our house, and not being to code).

It was a pretty big job, but given that I had no heat Frank, Hugo, and Eric managed to rebuild our HVAC within the week. I couldn't be happier with the work, and the house is so much more comfortable now.

I had Cabrillo come and install a tankless water heater in my 1920's craftsmen style home, and replace and remove the older indoor obsolete water tank and piping. They did an excellent job of removal and installation of the new system, mounting it externally and re-piping the system into my existing plumbing. All of the work was carried out to plan, was very unobtrusive and had excellent attention to fit finish and detail. They also checked all of my exiting plumbing infrastructure under me sub floor, and fixed and braced several problem areas free of charge. At no point during the work was I ever without hot water, and the change over was seamless.I'd highly recommend Cabrillo.

Cabrillo was highly communicative at every step of the way. They responded promptly and thoroughly to my needs and provided a detailed estimate for replacement without a pushy sales pitch. When the time comes for replacement, I'll definitely call them again.

So it's 4th of July weekend and the P-trap under the kitchen sink decides this is the opportune time to split wide open. I called Cabrillo, fully expecting to be told that they could work me in sometime after the next Monday or that there would be a huge surcharge for coming out on the holiday 4-day weekend. I was surprised to be told they could have someone out between 1 and 4 that day. The gentlemen who showed up were there around 2 and immediately went to work. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, explained what needed to be done, gave an estimate and were everything anyone would wish to have in a situation like mine. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Would highly recommend Cabrillo Plumbing. We had a leaky bathtub faucet and they offered to send someone out as soon as the next morning to fix it. Patrick did the repair and was professional, courteous and efficient.

We were stuck as our 16 year old shower fixture stopped working. Cabrillo expedited a visit from Patrick who was professional and competent. He replaced the diverter and cartridge quickly. But no!!! one crucial piece went missing through the process of us trying to diagnose the problem and Patrick doing his work. Gessa (the most excellent customer service rep) researched the problem, found the part and ordered it for express delivery. When it arrived, someone from their shop dropped it off and we put it all together. Works perfectly! They went above and beyond and always kept a positive and friendly attitude. We will use them again if/when we have plumbing needs.

Cannot recommend this company enough! Super transparent with pricing and communication. Frank and Hugo replaced our water heater and took the extra time to walk us through the process, alternative options and were overly considerate to ensure minimal impact to our building as a whole. Robert recently serviced our HVAC system and went above and beyond in solving a small plumbing issue we had. So glad we have found Cabrillo and we plan to stick with them for the foreseeable future.

showed up quickly, same day as we called. took all day to replace our dead water heater but it was worth the wait. The guys, Erik and Charly, were tidy and efficient. They had to remove a side gate to get the larger tank into the basement and it actually shuts better since they replaced it.

Dave and Hugo came by for a toilet repair, and also noticed that the water heater was leaking; so they also came back the next day top install a new water heater. And during COVID, took all necessary precautions.

Cabrillo is great at problem solving. In my experience (twice) they have been very professional and thorough. They are on the more expensive side but definitely worth it when a complex problem arises.

They were on time, clean (drop clothes/booties), great communicators, and did a really nice job. Cabrillo was the third plumbing service we had over to help us figure out a seemingly straightforward issue, but neither of the two previous plumbers wanted to expend the effort to figure out the part required. My choice in San Francisco since 2002, Carrier central heating installed in my house on Church Street, water heater and check ups. Always protected my floors, constant contact w/ me as owner. Trustworthy, excellent technicians and plumbers. I like sticking with a company that’s been around the city a long time.

We had several different problems to address, and he solved all of them - including replacing a toilet and faucet - that same day and within a couple of hours. I have never been more happier with a plumbing company than Cabrillo. We have used them for a few years and their work is top notch! They are very professional and have great customer service. Our kitchen sink drain was occasionally backing up and leaking, but it wasn't urgent. I contacted two solo plumbers, but both were unresponsive. I then looked up a company with good reviews and reached out to them via their web contact form. Again, no answer. Then I picked up the Noe Valley Voice and saw the Cabrillo ad. I called and was connected right away to Sal. He was driving and asked to call me back, which he did promptly, and booked us for the very next day with a window in the afternoon.

The day of, I got a call from Sal that he could get a guy over sooner if I was available. I was, and 20 minutes later, Todd showed up. He was 100% professional and courteous, and super competent. He diagnosed our problem immediately and was in and out in about an hour. I couldn't be more satisfied. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, and one happy customer!

I was having an emergency breakdown. An out of commission toilet (almost 40 years old) and 15 grand nieces and grand nephews and their parents due the next day for a holiday dinner. I had a leak in our front yard and needed someone fast. Cabrillo came out right away and Frank Cichetti, the service tech was outstanding. He had to search all over to find the water shutoff and then was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. His fix solved the problem and discussed long term solutions as well. Frank was extremely helpful in explaining everything and made fast work to fix the problem. Will definitely use them again.

We had a shower water pipe fail which flooded the entire bathroom and living room carpet. Worse it was in the ceiling and in a really difficult place to get at. Fixing this leak required cutting into the walls, negotiating a huge wood beam, electrical wiring, plus getting around heating ducts for the upstairs unit.

Brian came out bright, early and on time. He did a a fantastic job of quickly locating and fixing the problem. He was a true professional who was kind, easy to talk to and thoroughly explained what would have to be done. He even gave us a few options.

But here's where Cabrillo goes above and beyond... After he completed the repairs he completely cleaned up the work areas, taking all the scraps and busted drywall to the trash. And that's huge!

The drain under our kitchen sink developed a leak; waste water from the sink and dish washer ran through the ceiling of a room below the kitchen and generally made a mess. I was lucky to recognize the problem when I did. The drain pipes had corroded and the seals were rotten. Confident that I could fix the problem I visited Ace, bought the necessary bits and pieces. Then went back again to Ace. And then I had to go back again... So after spending hours and $$ I figured I had fixed the leak:I soon found out otherwise... Time to call the professionals!

We had used Cabrillo before over the years, and they responded quickly and on time. Brian, the technician, was courteous and neat (I appreciate Brian donning his fabric bootees although it was not necessary!). Brian gave a reasonable quote and speedily fixed the problem. But what really impressed me was that once he started the job he discovered that he was unhappy with other drain pipes under the sink so he replaced them too, at no extra charge, and at his own initiative. That sort of service deserves a 5 star review!.

Frank, the Cabrillo repairman, was simply wonderful. He was thoughtful and clear in his description of what was wrong, he troubleshot another problem, cleared and cleaned everything perfectly. Remarkably, Frank got all the parts to the house and installed them within hours. Frank gets 5 stars!

He came in with white booties and even put down rugs to prevent water from getting anywhere. While no one ever wants to spend money on plumbing, if you have something go wrong, these are the guys I'd want to do it.

A few months ago I had a water heater blow out. I've seen the Cabrillo trucks around the city (you can't miss them) so I gave them a call. I spoke to a very pleasant woman and she assured me they could help. An appointment was set and the technician arrived on time. He took a look at the water heater and gave me a quote. The worker was very friendly and was dressed in a impressively clean white uniform. The water heater was replaced and in working condition in no time. Clean up was also quite impressive. I generally always have to do my own version after having work done by an outsider but they did it all as promised and then some. Cabrillo delivered outstanding work and walked me through everything. I will definitely keep this company as my go to for all of my plumbing needs. It's important to feel taken care of, not taken advantage of.

I called Cabrillo because our disposal wasn't working. It turns out it is pretty old --and rusty, so we got a new one (all in the same visit!) Frank checked our water heater at my request, AND he thoughtfully checked the water pressure coming into the house. It's a good thing: not only is the water heater 19 years old, but we need a new pressure monitor and gauge.... Frank gave me a detailed description of options for a new heater, as well as cost and the type of work that would have to be done--with no pressure. I entered my garage and found sewage in half of my garage. I started to panic and stopped using my toilets and showers. I called my trusted plumbers at Cabrillo Plumbing. They scheduled an appointment immediately which calmed me down. Erick and Javier came out the next morning, troubleshooted the issue, and more importantly, RESOLVED the issue! Erick described the issues and shared the fixes!! He showed me the exact issue using a sewer line camera (a screw and tree root were in my pipe which caused blockage, see picture). I've used Cabrillo Plumbing for years... Not just for for my personal residence but for and for my family's business and commercial properties here in San Francisco as well.
Over the years they have done just about everything you can think of in the way of plumbing ... and always done a great job! We've had several waters replaced, leaking pipes fixed. shower faucets changed. clogged pipes cleared ... they even got my old heater working again which saved me a lot of money. They have installed new sinks and drain lines in my business and worked around our work schedule so they wouldn't interrupt our business.

We have used Cabrillo as our plumber for the last 5 years and have been delighted with their service - they are prompt, efficient, very tidy and extremely capable. They handle routine matters with dispatch, but what's special is how determined - and skilled - they are when faced with a difficult problem. Today they were able to unblock a bathtub drain that had been clogged when a part of the original drain mechanism broke off and lodged deep in the pipe. An earlier technician had told us it was impossible to remove and would likely require drilling into the wall to access it. But Robert and Jeff from Cabrillo persisted, and after an hour of effort were able to extract it from above using WD40 and their ingenuity. This is just the latest of many good experiences we have had with this firm. It's a class operation.

Cabrillo was very prompt in responding to our call, even though this was not an emergency, and it was a Saturday. Brian was extremely professional and helpful in explaining the issues and work needed, but unfortunately did not have the needed supplies on his truck, otherwise he would have fixed everything then. He came back first thing Monday and finished very quickly. I saw one other review complaining about the prices. Cabrillo seemed about on par for cost, and as has been said, you get what you pay for! Cabrillo was the second company we had to call to correct plumbing needed to install a new dishwasher. The first company broke a pipe in the process of a valve replacement and used questionable replacement hose materials. Brian informed us the installed valve was not the correct type and replaced it along with new pipe, and installed a separate valve and hose to plumb water back to our refrigerator. The first company just removed the water supply and said it wasn't possible to reconnect. So - I'd say Cabrillo did a great job! Brian is excellent with communications, and was also willing to inspect other parts of our 60-year old pipe system for any other issues. Fortunately things checked out fine. Candice, in Cabrillo's office, was also very timely and responsive with the paperwork, which I appreciated.

Our home gas furnace stopped working, and it turned out to be a defective thermostat. Cabrillo replaced our old Honeywell thermostat with a smart Nest, and the system works remarkably well now. In fact, it works so well, that we decided to replace our 2nd gas furnace thermostat with a new Nest as well. Our home is now upgraded to a much more programmable heating system, and both furnaces work beautifully. Thank you Robert Burkett for doing such a great job and being so pleasant at it.

I had Cabrillo come out and do a free estimate for installing a furnace in my 100+ year old Victorian house. The technician came promptly at the appointed time, and was nothing less that clean, professional and courteous. In the end they recommended I go the other rout . I was also thinking of installing gas fireplace heaters instead of having to build venting into the walls or put 2 furnaces one in the basement, and one in the attic - they recommended I do that instead, thus loosing my business So my experience with them has led me to feel that they have my best interests at heart.

I was so happy with their services that I had them install a new toilet in one of my bathrooms. The work was done on time, and perfectly, at a reasonable rate. I am thinking of having them come bask and install a steal shower in my master bath next.

We’ve used cabrillo heating & plumbing for over a year now. They are very efficient, professional, and on time. We call them to fix the work that other contractors/services have been done incorrectly. They do it right the first time! They identified a heating duct issue where the previous contractors tapped into the return instead of the heating ducts. When they do the water heater and heater maintenance they do a thorough job. I highly recommend them for all plumbing and heating repairs or needs!

Our water heater went out and we needed help in a hurry. Called late Friday afternoon and they told us we could have someone there on Saturday. They called early Saturday morning to say they would be out to us in 20-30 minutes. Frank arrived right on schedule. It's never fun to call a plumber, but Cabrillo made our experience as painless as possible. They were polite, prompt, and efficient -- fixing the problem and cleaning up after themselves. Brian was knowledgeable and friendly, and he stayed with our problem until he fixed it. We will use Cabrillo again, and we will tell our friends to use them, too!

Dave and Oliver came to our rescue after an individual installed a shower drain incorrectly as the first step to our brand new renovated bathroom. I believed the Contractor when he said So and So could do that... well, So and So couldn't do that and lot's of other repair and installation tasks involving WATER that the Contractor said they could do. Fast forward to having all of the wall tile and shower pan removed down to the studs before even taking ONE shower and before having the custom made to specs Shicker Shower Surround installed.
Cabrillo came in to right the wrongs. They removed all of the pipes and drains and set to work to make an extremely professional (and frankly quite beautiful) copper array that will be the least of my worries in the future. Hire a Professional. I thought I did and was told I had but, not all professionals are created equal!

Now our shower and sinks are working. We had no hot water in the shower, and we later remembered our kitchen tap had a leak and a loose faucet. Also our bathroom sink stopper was not working. Robert fixed everything, and now it's all perfect! Thank you so much!

Saturday night I noticed my hot water heater leaking, so I followed the steps to shut it down from the Cabrillo sticker on the heater, and called the 1-800 number. Both the call center and the local dispatch were kind and helpful on the phone as they scheduled a Monday morning appointment for me. Brian arrived promptly at 7am and quickly assessed the situation. He was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He and Victor cleanly removed the old water heater, installed the new one, explained usage, and finished the whole process by 11:30. I was very pleased with the service and can highly recommend them.

Frank from Philly assisted by Erick did a great job replacing an aging furnace. Only took a day and a half and were able to also check out my interior venting and suggest improvements. Have had great experiences with cabrillo every time I've called them.

A failing water heater and Cabrillo was ready to step in immediately and diagnose the problem. Before moving to replace, Cabrillo thorough investigated to ensure the signs of leakage were not from exhaust draft issues. Ultimately it appeared to be a tank pinhole requiring heater replacement. Brian and Steve were highly efficient and professional, ready to handle all the components in the system that also required replacement. Back up and running in six hours. Bills in San Francisco are never modest, yet Cabrillo provides great value and the best professionals out there.

I called Cabrillo Plumbing Heating and Air for a backed-up sewage pipe and they were OUTSTANDING!!! They set up my appointment promptly and were on time. About 30 minutes before arrival I received a text from Cabrillo telling me David, the plumber was en route. The text included a picture, physical description, years of experience, hobbies, and so on. Once David got to our house he introduced himself and was very professional. He checked the area where the clogged pipe was and got a general layout of our plumbing. He set up his work area and got down to business all the while explaining what he was doing, how the plumbing system worked, and what the overall goal was. After David verified the clog was clear and flowing he installed our toilet with the ease of a seasoned artist. Their quality of service and professionalism impressed me and I will call them in the future for plumbing or heating needs.

Once more, Frank was stellar at what he does. In and out smoothly today, without a hitch! Always a pleasure doing business with Cabrillo.

Robert fixed our broken heat-pump water heater. He was thorough with the repair and informative about this new technology. We had trouble finding someone able to repair the heat pump, and Robert's plumbing AND HVAC experience were ideal to help us. Everyone (Geesa, Sal, and Robert) I spoke to was friendly, which was such a pleasure.

Brian and Hector brought my 17 year old tankless water heater up to code, installed missing flush system, installed the correct the ductwork, including roof outlet, flushed the system, all is working again!

Very straightforward - and David was very pleasant to work with. Also, very thorough - after installing the faucet, he checked to make sure there were no leaks (new components connecting to older components).

Great that the other customers had good experience. However, it's not the case for me. The quota I got for the replacement of a heating furnace is almost twice of other places. AND, only when I asked whether the permit is included, I was told it's not and will cost another $500. For those that don't know, the permit is required legally and often included in the standard package. And Carrillo chose to not mention it at all. It's a shady way to save cost.

Five stars: We had two aging water heaters that needed to be replaced. We called Cabrillo Plumbing and arranged for a Service Technician Frank Cichetti to give us an estimate. Frank, a Master Plumber and well experienced, reviewed our situation. Then clearly explained our needs and current earth quake laws
They installed two Bradford and White water heaters in the garage. Securely strapping the heaters to 6 seismic shiny heavy duty U-shaped stainless steel braces all well bolted to the cement floor, to the ceiling joists, and to the side of the building. And installed 4 heavy duty seismic flexible water hoses, plus installing other copper and gas steel piping and venting.
Added: installed an eye catching “blue” 4 gallon expansion tank, installed a 3 foot bollard with an eye appealing “yellow” cover, and replaced a defective reducing valve.
A magnificent job of engineering. The water heaters will stand as long as the building stands.
Frank was assisted by three hard working knowledgeable apprentices all cleanly uninformed. Frank’s utility truck was impressively organized with much supplies and tools. When Frank needed to enter the living area, he always slipped on booties to his shoes---the same for the apprentices. All reflects well on their employer.

Matt was fantastic. On time, considerate and very thoughtful in how he explained what was going on with my HVAC and water heater. Really appreciate his approach. And Cabrillo was great!

I let a screw fall into my garbage disposal and I couldn't get it out. I did all the usual interventions including dangling a magnet into the disposal, hitting the reset button, using the allen wrench, etc. with no success. I called Cabrillo and they were able to come out within a very reasonable time frame so my whole day was wasted waiting for them. In fact, Brian arrived early which was great. He explained all my possible choices and potential outcomes. Thankfully Brian got the screw out and my disposal is now running quietly as it should instead of sounding like someone was hammering on metal from inside the disposal. Brian was very professional and answered a few other questions I had about disposals and I was relieved to have the rest of my day free without the headache of trying to fix the disposal myself (which would have been a disaster.) I have used Cabrillo for years and they are consistently prompt, professional, informative and great to work with. These people are so good! From the professionalism and knowledge of the office staff to the promptness, accuracy, efficiency and skill of my technician, Frank, everything they do is high quality, high integrity and high generosity. Frank helped resolve a mysterious and inconsistent issue with my furnace as well as uninstall a tricky water filter system. He didn’t just do the task at hand, he went far beyond the call of duty. After having Frank help me out I realized how all the people I’d used beforehand may have saved me money in the short term but ended up requiring corrections to be made. Lesson learned, next time I’m going straight to Cabrillo for HVAC and plumbing issues. And requesting Frank!!

My hot water tank sprung a leak, I called around and no plumbers were available that same day but one recommended Cabrillo. So I called and they had a very professional plumber at my home in 2 hours and they did a superb job removing my old water heater and replacing it with a new one. I couldn't be happier - and should I encounter any problems they will come back at no extra charge. What's not to like!!!

Found a great deal on Angie’s List and decided to give them a try. The only things I really had a problem with was a couple of slow drains.

Bob Torre was my service technician and not only did a wonderful job, but went above and beyond what I have come to expect from a competent plumber.

First, he respected my property. He put on some protective booties so that he wouldn’t dirty my carpet. Then, he made sure that the items on my counter top were out of the way of any splash. After the job was done, he even cleaned up the splatter on my counter and mirror.

Second, he explained everything he was doing and very carefully went over the paperwork and told me what everything meant on the paperwork before he allowed me to sign or initial. He explained California liability and workman’s comp requirements for all service companies and told me how to protect myself and my home when I allow someone into my home.

When everything was clear, he showed me one of the main reasons why my master bath drain was running slowly and how I could avoid a premature service call by simply replacing a part (that they did not carry) or, at least, being aware of the position of the part and manually adjusting it.

Finally, he showed me how where the shutoff valve was for my water heater and even tested the pressure coming into my home to make sure it was at a safe level.

Bob was very personable and demonstrated how excellent service can be. When I complimented him on his service and attitude, he indicated that all Cabrillo technicians have been trained that way.

What that tells me is that the ownership and management of Cabrillo are smart in who they hire and who they choose to serve as their front line. Advertising can get 1st time business but it takes someone like Bob to keep them coming back.

I will ask for him the next time I have a plumbing challenge.

Service Technician Frank Cichetti replaced our water heater today. The installation was a little challenging due to the tight space he had to fit it into, but he patiently explained the different options and performed the work skillfully. The job could not have been done more efficiently or more professionally. The cost for the water heater replacement was kind of breathtaking ($2800), but it's not feasible to do price comparisons with other companies when you haven't had hot water for a few days so I'm not really able to say whether the price was competitive or not. But I would not hesitate to call Cabrillo again if we had a plumbing or heating job.

The staff were great and very professional. Rob Burkett, Charly Valenzuela, and Sal were very helpful and kept me informed on what was wrong and what needed to be done. Thank you for your help.

Cabrillo just finished replacing our Rinni tankless water heater and everything about their service was top notch. Brian, from Cabrillo, clearly explained how the tank functions, the cause of the malfunction and my options. I elected to replace the tank, a significant financial investment, because of the 12-year warranty on the tank and the warranties on labor and ancillary devices but, most importantly because I trust Brian, Gage and Oliver. 5 years ago we remodeled our house and had a tankless water heater installed. Since then we have been very disappointed in the lack of hot water and reduced water pressure. We had our contractor and his plumber try to fix the problem as well as a couple of other plumbers and we never got positive results. Two weeks ago, Frank C from Cabrillo plumbing was able to identify the problems and now after 5 years we are able to have hot water and much better water pressure. He complete all check lists and paperwork that was required. He also took time to answer some of my questions about future repairs or replacements. I will use Cabrillo again. I even got a money saving tip. An important tip about the U.S. Dept. of Energy changing requirements for hot water heaters in April 2015. Better move that work to the top of the list. I was a returning customer as we have used them in the past. We unfortunately had a severely clogged toilet and the service was fine and personable etc but my beef is with the charge I ended up with a $298 15 minute visit at best. I understand you have to make money but for that short of a visit that should not be the charge. I will seek other alternatives going forward.

Just because you can charge that doesn’t mean you should. Clearly your response below does not justify that price. I will be going elsewhere.

They are very polite and professional. Be warned, however, that they are VERY expensive. They did not, for example, warn me that the 'coming out to look' fee of $189, would also be on top of the $519 fee for installing a new switch. $700 for 1.5 hours of work and a $20 part is really steep. To their credit, they agreed to fold the $189 fee into the $519.

Cabrillo came promptly and completed the job very efficiently.

I needed a new toilet and luckily picked Cabrillo only based upon seeing a lot of their trucks around. Brian came out and was wonderful in showing me the problem with the old, picking a new one for me and installing it very quickly and efficiently. I ended up buying another toilet for my 2nd bathroom also, Brian was easy to work with, very knowledgeable and polite. I would highly recommend Brian and Cabrillo in the future and will call them again when needed.

Cabrillo, and Brian in particular, were once again excellent. I called late in the afternoon needing a gas shut-off valve installed for my oven to get PG&E to turn the gas on for my apartment after the oven broke. Cabrillo managed to get me an appointment early the next day. Brian was exactly on time and had everything installed in under two hours. PG&E later tested everything and it was great! Now I have heat and hot water again. Cabrillo is consistently quickly available and does fantastic work. Not cheap, but worth it.

I had a toilet replaced by Cabrillo last year and was very impressed with the attention given to the job and the subsequent cleanup. It was a no brainer to call them with my weekend emergency, and within 10 minutes, a same day repair appointment was set up.
A very courteous uniformed plumber named Brian and his assistant, Eric, arrived promptly as scheduled, and after discussing the minor catastrophe, got right to work.
I was informed of their findings and the solution, which was to replace the water heater (as I suspected).
Brian and Eric came equipped with everything needed to make the necessary replacement quickly and efficiently. Once again, I was very impressed with their professionalism, attention to details during the installation and cleanup, and thorough explanation of how to get the longest life from the replacement water heater.

I needed a hot water heater replacement that took a little creativity in installing. I found Erik and Celes fabulous. They were neat, proud of their work, happy to be there and got the job done. Cabrillo plumbing and heating came to look at my furnace. Frank the technician did a diagnostic of the furnace. Frank was very nice and knowledgeable. He found and said the furnace was not blowing hot air because of a circuit board that is bad. There was glitch on his tablet so he could not order the circuit board. He said to check my email in 20 minutes. Frank had to call the office to see what happened. I did call the office and the estimate was there in my email. I had to call Cabrillo and spoke to Sal and I confirmed the estimate and Sal sent the order of the circuit board to the order department. Sal will give me a email when the circuit board comes in.
To schedule a come back appointment to install the circuit board. Hopefully it will come soon. Cold temperatures are not very fun. Cabrillo is a pretty organized company. I will review them more when the job is completed.
Cabrillo came on Tuesday and they ordered the circuit board. Thursday December 1, 2022 Cabrillo called and said the part will be in today and they can install the circuit board Friday December 2, 2022. Frank was the same technician and installed the circuit board. The furnace now heats up perfectly. Cabrillo plumbing and heating is a great company it is my choice for heating. The whole staff is great very courteous who ever answers the phone and down to the technician. Excellent company

Cabrillo Plumbing consistently does an excellent job. I recently asked them to replace a kitchen faucet. During the call I let them know how much I appreciate good work and described the excellent work one by a plumber some years ago (underneath the kitchen sink). They reminded me they did that work. Cabrillo Tech Frank Cichetti came out to my home to service my heater and replace an aged thermostat with a new digital one. I liked his service from the email that introduced him to his showing concern with my heating problems. He then explained what needed to be done and serviced my appliance. Frank was very careful by not tracking anything into my home and very careful with cleanup. I'll call them back again for other heating and plumbing needs and would recommend them highly.

One morning during the recent cold weather, our furnace started blowing a horrible smell smell out of the heat ducts. We a called a company that had serviced our system previously. They sent someone over to check out the situation. The tech didn't do any investigation of the furnace and when he smelled the odor coming out of the ducts, he said the manifold on the furnace had cracked and combustion products were coming into our living space. We were advised to turn off the furnace and not to use it. No repair was suggested other than a new furnace. We did turn off the furnace, but fortunately we called Cabrillo for a second opinion. Frank came over quickly and assessed the situation thoroughly. Unlike the other tech, he carefully examined the furnace and after extensive diagnosis, he determined that the installation was a sloppy job. A piece of plasticy insulation had fallen onto the manifold, melted, started vaporizing and was producing the awful smell. The fix was just to gain access to the manifold and clean in thoughly. After Frank's fix, the furnace is producing lots of odorless heat. Frank's diagnostic skill, thoroughness, and honesty saved us a ton of money. If he had not been here we would have probably ended up buying a new furnace. Frank and Cabrillo have our highest recommendation.

We recently have had some serious plumbing issues with our old house. Had a water heater that would not keep the pilot light lit. Cabrillo sent Patrick Longo out to take a look. He methodically narrowed down the issue. We resulted in a full cleaning of the burner and area. The pilot light has been lit ever since!

I had 2 1940ish wall heaters that we not working. Gave Cabrillo a call and they sent Tony out. Totally painless process, quick and efficient. Tony even taught me a little about the units and how they differ from the technology of today. I'll certainly be using Cabrillo as future issues arise.

Overall experience was top notch from initially contacting the office, to visit, and installation. I was surprised with how pleasant the whole experience was. They texted me ahead of time on who our plumber was so that we knew what to expect. Our plumber Brian was great. Very professional and pleasant man. Would highly recommend.

We have the Gold Cabrillo Service agreement and we took advantage of the annual A/C inspection. When I called to schedule an appointment, they were able to come out the very next day. Tony, our service provider, was prompt and efficient. He found our unit was leaking air into our garage and sealed unit so our A/C unit would run more efficiently. My experience with Cabrillo plumbing was excellent. Brian was prompt, professional and kept me fully informed and updated. Even though I had a minor leak, because of the relative rarity of the part Brian had to make 3 trips (first to inspect, and two to fix) to fix the leak. Imagine a completely professional individual showing up on your doorstep to take care of a potentially messy plumbing problem. The individual is wearing nearly all white, spotless. His boots are covered with protective coverings. Your wife is thrilled beyond belief as how clean and kind natured he is. He patiently and cleanly goes about his business, snaking a tub that until this day has resulted in calf deep water with every showering. His name is Brian. He not only solves the problem, he gives you advice on other fixes and passes on basic plumber knowledge. He engages you on your level.

I usually do my own plumbing work, within my own abilities. I manage an apartment building. It's an old building that sometimes has old building issues. However if I ever have a problem I cannot solve, I immediately call Cabrillo, and in fact I hope they send over Brian. He is a total professional, smart, clean and thorough.

My 88-year old mother called Cabrillo without my knowledge because her toilet wasn’t working. They actually asked her if she wanted them to call a family member or someone to discuss the job. She had them call me. After they told me what was wrong they gave me some options to repair it or replace it. We ended up buying a new one and it’s been great. The fact that they actually asked her to get someone else involved shows me they’re definitely not trying to take advantage of anyone. I thought that was a first class move.

These guys are great. Our outside water valve self-destructed with age and I called Cabrillo. It wasn't a super emergency but they came same day anyhow. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jeff, who came out himself, with Eugenio. FAST, EASY, CLEAN
I noticed water under the kitchen sink, called Cabrillo (on a weekend!), and within 24 hours everything was leak-free and fully functional. Frank arrived masked and wearing slipcovers on his boots, took a good look at the problem, and explained what needed to be done. With my approval, he replaced the garbage disposal in what seemed like two minutes, cleaned up, and was gone. No more leak, and the new disposal works great. Who knew dealing with a leak could be a pleasant experience? I will be calling on Frank and Cabrillo any time my place requires a plumber!

This isn’t our first time calling on Cabrillo for plumbing and heating issues. This time it was for a dishwasher drain issue.

Upon inspection, it became apparent that we had an appliance issue, and not a clogged drain line. Cabrillo recommended we call an appliance repair business, as appliance repair service is not currently offered by Cabrillo.

Pricey, yes, but thorough, professional, clean, timely, etc.
Had them install an energy efficient water heater for us. Didn't have to do anything before they got here, and haven't had to do anything since. They even moved the water heater location about ten feet to a location better suited for our basement layout.
They were upfront per cost and scope. We feel it is nice to know that the job was complete, and that they could always be called upon should there be a problem.

We've had numerous issues from the hot water heater, to the furnace now even to our AC. Our first call several years ago was to Cabrillo and we have been coming back ever since. To be clear, everything they've fixed has stayed fixed.

Frank has been in to fix our water heater and our furnace on separate calls. Always willing to explain what he's doing and show us what's going on. He was notably great about pointing out a very crucial safety issue with our furnace that wouldn't have been caught had he not spent a good amount of time debugging the system and testing after everything was going smoothly.

We had been used to Frank for years after coming back and fixing various parts on our appliances, so when I had an issue with our AC not working, I called Cabrillo. I got a prompt appointment for two days after my call, right when I had time during my day. However, my heart sunk when I was told that Frank wouldn't be coming out to fix our issue. The lady on the phone told me that Tony was coming to fix our AC. I hadn't worked with him before, but he came highly recommended from the reviews.

When Tony arrived, he was able to diagnose the problem within the first 10 minutes. Luckily the problem was not catastrophic. His depth of knowledge about these systems was very extensive what struck me was how he was able to take my questions from refrigerant choices to system design and efficiency very well. He was very kind and thoughtful in his answers. Just like Frank, you can tell Tony has a desire to see that his clients are well-educated when making repair choices and that they feel comfortable with their course of action.

I admit that not having had service from different companies has limited my ability to compare prices. However I would recommend Cabrillo on service alone.

I had a great experience with Dave and Oliver, who installed a custom colored vanity and TOTO toilet in my vintage 1930's bathroom. After a previous plumber (from a different company ) told me that both items were too complicated to install, I was nervous... after regrouping with Dave I found out that these items were not as big a deal to install as I had understood. Dave was communicative throughout the installation, informing me of issues as they arose, and asking questions when decisions needed to be made throughout the process.

I had a ceiling leak in a vent and wasn't sure what the problem was. Was it the AC, was it plumbing? I called company after company and spoke to people on the phone that didn't have a clue. Until I got to Cabrillo. They explained to me in detail the possible problems and solutions. Obviously I went with them and I'm glad I did. They showed up for their appointment right on time (having called beforehand to confirm time of arrival) and were meticulously thorough in their testing. Erick Ortega was the service tech and he did a marvelous job. They identified what was going on efficiently and we planned next steps. I'd recommend Cabrillo without hesitation for great, professional plumbers.

Dave installed a new water heater, multiple bath and kitchen plumbing fixtures, and a new, much needed pressure valve. These installations have improved the quality of our lives tremendously, from the tap water tasting cleaner and better to our irrigation system functioning more effectively. Our lawn has never looked better. The kitchen faucet is such an improvement over the old one -- much easier to use and much cleaner water. The sinks and showers function so much better. We're thrilled with the results. Dave was ably assisted on multiple visits by Eric, Hugo and Jeremy. They were all prompt and professional. We recommend them highly.

Called up Cabrillo to replace some stuck bathroom sink valves and a leaky faucet. Was able to easily schedule a convenient appt and the tech Dave showed up at the beginning of the time window provided. He was very nice and professional. The valves were replaced swiftly and rather than replace the cartridges on my old faucet, I opted to get a new faucet, as that would be the most cost effective. Once the faucet came in, I was able to get Dave back out again to install the faucet and also replace an very old sink trap.

Cabrillo is not cheap and does charge per job/task, which includes any needed parts as part of the estimate provided. This differs from a time and materials billing, but I do feel I got good value for the work completed.

Sal took care of booking my appts and was also very professional and got me scheduled very efficiently. I mentioned a price quote discrepancy and Sal did some follow-up and got that resolved for me too.

We also signed up for their annual inspection contract, which is helpful to have our systems inspected in our old house annually. This gives us peace of mind to know and keep our systems safe and in good working order.

We hired Cabrillo Plumbing and Heating and am happy to be writing a review. I have purchased a window air conditioner, and contacted them to remove the old unit and install the new one.. Professional, quick to respond, a fair price, and very flexible hours. Thanks!

We needed emergency water heater replacement. Cabrillo was able to fit us in earlier than originally scheduled and replaced our old water heater (which they also installed years earlier) effortlessly. Robert was friendly, courteous and efficient!
Patrick came back a few days later to install the security pole. He was also friendly, courteous and got the job done quickly and left the job clean and neat.
We had a timing glitch which disrupted my work day, but Justin, the dispatcher, sent us an apology with complimentary movie tickets! Over the years we have relied on Cabrillo for our plumbing needs and will continue to do so.

Brian from Cabrillo did an excellent job resolving our leaky kitchen sink problem -- on a Saturday morning, no less. Brian was punctual, quick, courteous, and competent. He identified the cause of the leak and adeptly replaced the faulty hardware with new hardware (that we chose on the spot using a Cabrillo iPad), which was delivered by Cabrillo Plumbing within an hour's time. To top it off, Brian was mindful to use booties and protective floor coverings and left the premises tidy and spotless. We were extremely pleased.

Gisa called me from Cabrillo the day before to reconfirm my appointment, and Patrick arrived well within the quoted service time window. Patrick determined that the original installation of our flash water heater was incorrect done. Fortunately he was able to install new valves so he could properly flush the heater. Overall, I know Patrick saved us the additional time and expense if we were forced to buy and install a whole new flash water heater unit. I will be sure to call Cabrillo in the future for your flash water heater maintenance, and refer them to anyone who needs professional plumbing, heating or cooling service in SF or the greater Bay Area.

Have used Cabrillo Plumping for years with never a problem. The workers are always very professional and polite. If something unexpected comes up while doing the work they always explain the issue (I have a rather old house and issues just come with the age). Any work we have had done has never given us a problem. Had had over time two toilets, a hot water heater, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a laundry sink that needed to be re-plumbed and the work is up to code and works with no issues.

We called Cabrillo on Thursday night after 7PM with a clogged kitchen sink, and Frank was at our house by 10AM Friday morning. What we thought was a routine clogged drain turned out to be a tough one! Five hours later (yes, I was starting to get nervous) and after having a colleague bring a longer, 60 foot snake, Frank's persistence paid off! Throughout the job Frank was professional, explained what he was doing, and cleaned the place spotless before he left. He was awesome and I would highly recommend both Cabrillo and Frank. I plan to use them again -- but hopefully not for a long time!

Robert did a very professional job of replacing our 30 year old furnace as original parts were no longer available. It was a full 1 day job and he completed it smoothly. Great job from start to finish, Quality job!

Our heater was broken and technician came and fix it right away

Water heater failed (same one from previous review) over Memorial Day. Cabrillo was on site the next morning and had a new water heater installed by 2:00pm, Courteous, communicative, and just clear on what was the issue and options to fix. Rob and Javier for the win.

I highly recommend Cabrillo. Frank and team were extremely professional and organized. I was looking to replace my gas furnace with a ductless mini-split heat pump system. My home in SF is complex (like many homes here), and several other installers tried to talk me out of getting a heat pump. Cabrillo is very forward looking and creative and understands that heat pumps are the future of HVAC. They also installed a heat pump water heater. My gas bill is gone and my electric bill is shockingly low. I'm very happy with the system, as well as the service.

Arrived on time and was very personal and professional. He called to order new faucets, thinking that this would take a few days to arrive. Todd decided to try a temp fix, because he did not want to leave with the cold water faucet slowly dripping. While waiting for the building manager to come and turn off the water, someone from the warehouse delivered new parts. The whole process took about 2 hours and I am thrilled not to worry every time I do the laundry! I used Cabrillo every time I have plumbing issues because I trust their technicians. Todd went beyond what I expected because of that I avoided a disaster!

Can't say enough good things about Cabrillo, particularly Brian, who came out right on time and was professional and courteous. Had one plumber look and balk at the job, but Cabrillo was expedient and didn't bat and eyelash at my situation. I needed a new water heater installed in a cramped closet, and Brian quickly figured out the best replacement for my needs and got to ordering it, replacing the old one and hauling the old one off all within a span of a couple of hours. This is why I will always use Cabrillo. They did some work for me in December that is reviewed below - 5 Stars. Earlier this month my tenant noticed a small leak originating from the toilet. I contacted Cabrillo because frankly I trust them and knowing it was an old building realized it could be a lot worse. Cabrillo found it was a small issue. Literally a bolt need to be tightened. No Charge.

How I started working with Cabrillo.

My condo association had contracted another plumber to make repairs on our unit due to a leak. After a lengthy demolition and restoration, we turned on our water and found that the shower did not work. I had had it with the plumber the condo association was using and needed somebody to get the work done quickly. It was the worst possible timing, Monday, December 22, 3 days before Christmas. I contacted another plumber I trust who actually recommended Cabrillo. If that's not a good sign I don't know what it is.

From the moment I spoke to Justin at Cabrillo and scheduled the plumbers to fix our water valves I felt we were in good hands. There was constant communication with Justin and Gessa, which I greatly appreciated since I've must've driven them nuts by calling them at least 30 times. Once the job was done, they sent me photos and confirm that they had actually tested the line and confirm that the water was working properly.

Our building is over 100 years old so what they were able to do with new plumbing made our bathroom look brand-new.

Not only did they do a good job but they stand behind their work. A week later my condo association contacted me again to inform me of another leak in my unit. I contacted Cabrillo and they had a plumber out there within two hours and confirmed that the leak was not from our unit but from a valve from the building waterline.

Frank and Oliver were a pleasure to work with - they did a great job, showed quality workmanship, left the place spotless and are clearly nice people too! (repeat customer, third job completed 2/18/19).

Extremely high estimate. 2X of what the local providers charge. They refused to provide an itemized breakdown on the required repairs (modifications, code, etc), so that they can mark up everything. They also quoted the replacement of a part that wasn't broken, they just replace it always by standard practice ($800 value). They wanted to charge me $3K for a water heater. I got it done with a qualified and licensed technician with over 25 years experience for $1,200.
After they found out I had a home warranty, they simply walked away.

I guess that extra money goes to fancy trucks with shiny labels, pricey google ads campaigns and professional-looking uniforms.

I woke up standing water and a smell you don't want to smell. I called Cabrillo and they had someone over in 30 minutes. They fixed the clog and added new pipes to the sink. Todd and Matt were on time, clean, professional, and kept me posted on what was going on and how to proceed. We also used Rob for all new plumbing in our 1936 SF Sunset home. I love the fact that we can now take a shower with good flow and with other appliances running. Rob was amazing and plumbing job even looks beautiful. Call Cabrillo for all your plumbing needs. I had an excellent experience with Robert Burkett from Cabrillo who came out to fix my furnace. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and provided me several options (regarding whether to repair or replace). Sometimes I'm wary of advice from repair companies because I figure they'll tend to select the option that's more profitable for them, but in this case Robert gave a straight answer. That sort of honesty with customers is what builds loyalty, and when it comes time to replace, I'll be going with Cabrillo again.

We've had Cabrillo out to do plumbing work for over 10 years and recently to fix our water heater.

Every time they come out to fix stuff (our house is 100+ years old and so there are some repairs required upon occasion) we are impressed with the quality of the work and also just how personable the employees are.

The fact that we know the name of the guy who does the plumbing work (Dave) who's been out 6 or 7 times over the last 10 years to service our old pipes. The guys who we just met who fixed the water heater (Todd assisted by Matt) said Oh yeah Dave said you had some pretty weird, old pipes says that they are committed to providing a great customer experience and checked in to see if there were any specifics about our house.

The work was great- finished in less than an hour and our water is hot again! They are always on time. Always do a good job and we won't go with anyone else..

I have used Cabrillo for many years, and have had great experiences, both with Plumbing and Heating.
In December, Tony came to my house to fix my thermostat, but discovered it was a problem with my furnace. He had to order a special part, but did so promptly, and it has worked great since.

I also have an small apartment building, and yesterday Tony again came and found a replacement heater the exactly fit the hole in the wall, saving me a lot of money in having to redo the sheet rock, paint, disturb the tenant, etc.

So...3,4 weeks ago we bought a garbage disposal and my husband planned to install it himself. He got under the sink and decided that we needed professional help because --- I'm not sure exactly why! Something to do with needing to cut a cast iron pipe. Anyway he called Cabrillo...but they couldn't come that day. We had travel plans so made an appointment for 2 weeks later, on a Monday morning. First thing that morning I called to be sure the appointment was still on, and a super friendly woman (she deserves for me to remember her name but I can't quite...Candace?) answered and assured me they'd be at my house within the hour. Sure enough they arrived --- and after a quick look told me that they couldn't put in a disposal because the plumbing inside the wall would have to be redone; expensive and they don't do that kind of work. I certainly expected to pay them for the house call but was told no charge. Loved they had booked the appointment, loved their receptionist and loved Mr. Cabrillo. Just moved into this house so it's great finding a plumber without having the horror of a clogged toilet....yet!

A few days ago, I tried to start my heater and Yup, it would not start up. I called Cabrillo Plumbing and they sent someone out within a day. My service rep was Frank and he was just great. He was on time, very professional, honest, and friendly. I learned a lot about my heater and also some tips for maximizing the output of my heater. I will need a new heater in the near future and will definitely request that Frank come out again. He represents Cabrillo Plumbing very well and he made my experience relaxing and enjoyable.

Bob Torre came to my house to fix a plugged drain that was affecting my garbage disposal and my dishwasher. Bob was here right on time and got to work immediately. He explained things thoroughly and gave lots of helpful advise. I now know how to keep my drains in good shape because he gave me a number of prevention tips. He was very careful and didn't leave any messes. He forewarned me that my garbage disposal was usable but a bit overworked and may konk out in time but it wasn't a sales pitch. Bob communicates well, is honest and an all around great plumber. Thanks to Bob Torre and to Cabrillo for great service!

We had a sluggish kitchen sink that Todd took care of promptly and expertly. He was on time, cordial and efficient. He cleaned up the work area thoroughly. We're also planning to replace two toilets. Todd took measurements and checked in with the office to see if the model we were interested was available. We'll definitely use Cabrillo (and hopefully Todd) for installation.

Had a couple of maintenance tasks done on furnace and water heater. Arrived during the window of time specified (and called 30min before) and completed the tasks in the estimated time. Oliver Brodech made a service call to assist with a faucet replacement job that I hit a wall on when the nut was fixed in location to the thread and I could not detatch the old faucet. What I wrestled with all day took Oliver little time to fix. A true professional and another positive experience with Cabrillo Plumbing.

Frank Cichetti came out to fix a botched plumbing job that the previous owner of our 60 year old home had done to our main floor bathroom. It was a pretty huge job - he had to re-pipe everything. He was extremely professional and friendly through the whole process. While it could have been a very painful process, Frank's courtesy and professionalism made the process a breeze. He and his partner were fast and left the place spotless - considering the amount of disgusting gunk that they had to deal with - you'd never know it! If I ever need any plumbing work done, Cabrillo will be my first call - and I'll specifically request Frank - he's great!

I appreciate the text updates for arrival times and photos of technicians with background info. Robert arrived exactly on time, scheduled a timely replacement of the 30 yr old wall heater and checked to make sure it was in stock. Cabrillo sends updates and was able to move the install date a week sooner. Installation was right on time, well within the given time window, cleaned up afterwards and made sure heater was working before they left. Installers went above and beyond to make sure all openings around exterior gas lines to the heater were closed off with sheet metal and caulk, even to the heater in another flat. Would definitely recommend.
