George Salet's company is very professional in interactions and expertise. Although my first experience wasn't perfect, they have followed up numerous times and the second visit was superb. The project was a bit more complicated than expected but Alan is the master of all things and a fabulous problem solver. It's so exceptional to encounter someone who is 'excellent' and who takes pride in his work. Thank you!

Twenty year old kitchen faucet leaking, wasting water. Called George Salet. Got same day appt. Mike arrived wearing mask and donned foot coverings. Very professional, explained the problem clearly. Provided options the company could offer. Had to drive back to shop to get an adapter when our old infrastructure did not fit new hardware. Mike ended up staying until 6:30pm and left us with newly installed faucet and clean sink and work area around it. It had to be a bit frustrating for him but he remained professional. We are very thankful to have gotten such good same day service in the midst of a pandemic!

Our fireplace stopped working and we found the right place to get help.

Due to high demand volume there wasn't a free appointment right away. After an initial visit to write a quote, we confirmed and over several visits the fireplace was repaired with new parts and fine tuning so it would run perfectly again.

The staff is really competent and nice. They know what they are doing and try their best to make you satisfied. I can definitely recommend this place and say: thank you for your great work!

Juan was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly - honest! His experience showed as he properly diagnosed my sewer problem and resolved it very quickly.

I had hired another plumbing company for the same problem in June 2021 and they concluded that the sewer pipe under the sidewalk was collapsed and that the vent hole was plugged with concrete. They recommended replacing the sewer pipe by trenching and tearing up part of the sidewalk with an estimated cost of $8,900.00.

This was not the case with George Salet Plumbing. When Juan arrived, the first thing he looked at was the vent hole and said that it was compacted debris (not concrete) which could possibly be broken up and vacuumed out with a shop vac. My son and I got to work on this while he went to set up a camera to inspect the pipe from inside the garage. We were able to remove the debris and unplug the vent hole and Juan made sure that the sewer line was clear in both directions (toward the city main in the street and back towards the house). He also verified that the sewer line was NOT collapsed and that it was in good condition with the camera. It was such a pleasure to watch a professional who really knew what he was doing work his magic! A trusted colleague had referred me to George Salet Plumbing and I am so glad he did! Juan was fantastic and I highly recommend George Salet Plumbing!

The people that came out were so exceptionally nice. They were courteous and I felt like I was getting fantastic service. Our building is 114 years old and I wasn’t surprised that we would have some problems. I felt that they were very trustworthy and that they went out of their way to do a good job.

Ryan came and assessed the problem and returned the following day to replace the toilet. He was efficient and knowledgeable He did a Great job . I have used this company for many years they are reliable and respond quickly.

There is a reason that I've been a customer of George Salet Plumbing for 16 years, not only for my home but also my rental properties. The most recent reason was at my home. Our master bath toilet clogged and overflowed a bit, which was cleaned up. The next day Ruben and Sal quickly determined that not only was the pipe clogged but that the toilet was leaking since our dried floor had more water on it. They cleaned out the entire sewer system and recommended a toilet that they had in the truck. We had fallen out of love with our Toto toilet and asked them to install the toilet in their truck. Ruben insisted that the new toilet be absolutely straight and the two gentlemen didn't leave until everything was perfect. They even offered to clean our hardwood floor where they walked during the repair!!! THAT is great service!!

Alan had called me prior to discuss a difficult work matter involving accessing the inside of a gas fireplace that was outside his jurisdiction and duty. After our discussion I felt comfortable in Alan's analysis to try to get inside to do the repair work. As it turns out Alan accomplished and completed the repair successfully and professionally. Jose from George Salet came out to our home and cleared our drains. He was professional (wore PPE), friendly and most of all knowledgeable. He asked great questions to deduce the reason for the problem. Quickly identified the area of focus. It took some time to get through the hair clog, but he took care of it. Afterwards he thoroughly checked each drain to make sure all systems were working. Including adding stress to all the drains at the same time and they all worked fine. He was also very clean! He closed doors behind him and left not a single trace that he had been here Well, except for the fact that all our drains work now!! Thank You!! Best part, the price was right! Fair and not overinflated. So important in this time of inflation.

Tyler has been to my home a number of times. With every visit he delivers great service and offers suggestions on how to save money. I highly recommend Tyler and the company he works for.

My gas fireplace/stove stopped working. Manufacturer no longer in business. Gas valve for flames malfunctioned. But Ryan knew his stuff. Had a replacement valve on his truck and installed it and that was not easy because of difficult access.

They were kind and called to see if we wanted to be seen earlier because they had an available person to see us. They were right on time! Alan along with John were not only courteous but very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable in asking questions and Alan really took the time to explain everything. I know more know than I did before about my water heater and maintenance. I really appreciate Salet Plumbing for the great customer service over the phone and Alan and John for the great service at our home. Definitely will refer them to my friends and family.

Friendly, fast and effective. I've got a pretty old stove fireplace (~20yrs) that had been working decently well up until a month ago. The pilot become unreliable. The guys who came out were quick to understand the problem, gave me an immediate estimate and got to work. Within a couple hours they had the stove up and running smoothly again.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone in SF/bay area who is having trouble with an old fireplace or which just needs maintenance.

Monte and his partner (Bobby) were great! We have never experience this kind of service from other kind of business. They took their time to make sure that it was done correctly, not rushing to get things done. We will definitely recommend them to other people or business.

From the day Juan came out to see what work needed to be done, we were able to get an appointment a few days later. Juan was here on time. Completed the tasks in a timely manner. Took pictures of work he did and explained all the work that was done. I would definitely use George Salet Plumbing again. And I’ll be requesting Juan when we have more plumbing needs.

Excellent service

I called for help at 1:30pm and Sal and Rafael arrived at 2:00pm. The work was done with speed and great knowledge. The gentlemen had to snake from the main line into my bathrooms, then they had to snake my kitchen sink. This is the first time I have had a problems in the 26 years I have lived here, I guess the pipes had a right to plug up. Sal and Rafael did a totally amazing job with curtesy and swiftness with the full knowledge of how to fix the problem. They did not stop until all my lines to bathrooms and kitchen were clear and usable.
I am very grateful to George Salet Plumbing, George installed a new garbage disposal many years ago and the service was wonderful then and now. Thank you, Sal and Rafael.

Tyler Martinez was such a life saver. We had been up all night because our gas fireplace insert receiver had blown several batteries and we were worried about what was going on with it since it involved a gas line and the pilot hadn't been lighting before that had happened. Tyler explained what he could do to help and gave me all the prices of the parts and labor so I could decide how I wanted to proceed. Once he started work he explained exactly what problems he was finding and showed me what he was doing along the way. When he finished the fireplace worked beautifully and he even showed me some tips about working with it that I had never known. I would highly recommend Tyler.

Mike repaired my gas fireplace and did an amazing job. He went above a beyond and did it all very quicjly.

Called to book an appt to look at my gas fireplace, and I asked if there was a call out fee. I was told there is no call out fee and I would be given an estimate for any works on site by the engineer, and nothing will be charged unless i decide to proceed with the works.
Sounded good to me.
When the engineer came he said he would not look at anything or turn on my fireplace, unless i agreed to pay the $188 diagnostic fee. This fee was to turn on the fireplace and watch the flame. No detailed diagnostic work was done.
Whilst there is no call out fee, be prepared to pay a diagnostic fee on arrival.
The engineer was fine, knowledgeable and friendly, but just feel their approach to fees are misleading for the customer. Just for others to take note.
