Roberto found the clog was located in the main drain instead of the trap or pipes connected under the sink and then used the drain auger to get rid of the clog. Afterwards he used the snake camera and showed me the results. The camera revealed that there still is some concern in the future that I will need a Jet procedure to completely clean the drain but the immediate problem was solved. I simply had to come back and add to this review. This time we had an air conditioner emergency on a Sunday after hours. The company was so responsive and made me feel like a VIP customer. Mario was very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Throughout the entire time, he kept a positive and friendly attitude. There was no point in which I felt like a burden for needing assistance. He answered all of my questions and provided extremely helpful education. This was a great experience that will leave a lasting positive impression!I was very impressed with how quickly they were able to respond! I had an emergency after hours and had a plumber dispatched out in no time! The agency made sure to contact me when Andrew was on the way, and then I received a text letting me know more about him so I could know who to expect. He was very professional and courteous. He gave a great quote and worked quickly to get the water back on. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Our hot water heater died the day before the ice storm in Texas. When the guys arrived, the professionally assessed the situation and very efficiently and effectively installed a new hot water heater! I would highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs. Oh! We have used Schmidt for several years and feel confident in the work performed. They installed a new system from them in February and the entire process was great. Today they performed our spring check up and it was done efficiently. Our technician even helped me finish my thermostat set up.

Called them to change out a couple faucets, fix a shower head and repair a dishwasher supply line. Frank and Isaac came out the same day and did a great job. Very friendly and did an overall great job. I can recommend!Originally I gave these guys 5 stars. However I changed to a 4 because it took 3 tries (I hope) to fix our sink where I had them install a disposal on a new sink. They didn’t charge for the last two times . Hopefully the 3rd guy new what he was doing.

I have used Arnold Moos for many years to service and maintain my HVAC system and also for plumbing issues. Recently, on a very hot day, my AC system died. Not only were they at my house within a few hours to diagnose the issue, but they went above and beyond to locate and procure a new, comparable unit and to get it installed that same day. In less then 12 hours from my call to them I had a new unit running and cooling the house.Their technicians and entire team are professional and friendly and take the time to explain what is needed. They are the best!

The service was A+, 10/10, but my concern was with them trying to access my PayPal to make the payment. I’ve been sitting with this question for a few days now and I’m still confused as to why they thought this was ok. Why don’t you all have a reputable payment system? The audacity to ask for the code for my PayPal has me flabbergasted and concerned. Although the service was by far the best service I’ve received in a while, extremely reliable and informative, this payment situation leaves me hesitant to reach out again.

I needed a whole home plumbing inspection for a new construction home I planned on closing in the next week, so I hired Shafer Services Plus to do it. The inspection was done today on 04/26/22 by Tyler. Even though I couldn’t be there in person for the inspection because of work, I am glad I still scheduled the inspection for today. Tyler was amazing and was extremely thorough. He updated me on what he found during the inspection and really helped me understand and learn what his findings were and what that meant for me as a homeowner. From the phone conversation alone, it felt like I really had a personal advocate in this whole home buying process , and that I was making an informed decision. I wish all contractors and technicians had his level of professionalism and level of motivation. When I did ask a few questions, he really took the effort and time to answer them without brushing the question aside. Finding good contractors and skilled tradesman is difficult, so I am more than happy to have had Tyler do my plumbing inspection. I will be requesting him for any plumbing services in the future. I hope Shafer Services Plus recognize him for his quality work and professionalism. Even though he could’ve given me a brief simplified explanation of the inspection, he went above and beyond to ensure I understood the inspection report before proceeding with closing.

Based on some decent online recommendations, I called AAA Affordable Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning to fix a clogged kitchen drain. A plumber came out and spent an hour trying to snake the drain (at a quoted price of $217) but failed. After the snaking failed, he gave me a new quote of $1,587. When I asked why it was so high, he said that the fasteners he would need to replace some degraded 2” cast iron pipe underneath the apartment were extremely expensive. He came back the next day with another plumber and did the job in approximately two hours. For the next three days, I called and asked for a complete invoice that explained the cost, including the “expensive fasteners.” They promised to send it, but I received nothing. I also learned that the fasteners and 8 feet of 2” PVC pipe they installed cost very little. I called again to ask about the price and invoice, and a AAA representative estimated that their basic costs were probably no more than $350. He still refused to give me a complete invoice, and he accused me of misrepresenting my conversations with his employees. Based on my experience, AAA is a disrespectful and deceptive business. I recommend finding another firm to do your job. $1,587 for a two-hour job that was inaccurately explained to me before I agreed to it? I will never use this company again.
