This was our first time using Primo Plumbing but definitely won’t be our last. Making the appointment with dispatch was easy. They called to confirm the business day before. The tech, Mitchell, was on time, patient, thorough and knowledgeable. He found the leak (pool auto fill, again) and came up with a solid “bandaid” solution until we can get the pool company out for a repair. The final bill was a pleasant surprise and well worth it. All around, a very professional and efficient operation. I am a local Realtor and will start recommending Primo Plumbing to all of my clients. Thank you for a great experience!

Comfort Air was very responsive to an A/C repair issue for a house I was selling on behalf of a client. They quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended two options with differing price points. Once we approved the estimate, they were prompt in getting the part ordered and the work done within our narrow contract dates. I recommend Comfort Air without hesitation.

Keith and Kareem were great! They showed up ready to tackle the issue we were having with some leaky drain pipes. Upon initial service call it was just the pipes but they identified the faucet, leaking as well. So they returned later to fix the faucet. While they were on site, one of our restrooms was having a flushing issue. I asked them if they could take a look at it and without hesitating, they agreed. I know they’re busy but they were able to fix that issue as well, on the spot. These guys are very professional, friendly and overall great! Will continue to use this company’s services as long as it’s Keith and Kareem coming out.

Mitch Brown and Gabriel did an outstanding job. Diligent, thorough, professional and caring. A hard combination to find in this day and time. Totally impressed with the communications from the office and all the work being done. Most of all I could continue to work and not worry or have to micro manage. My entire family uses this company and I don’t know why I called other ac and plumbing companies. I felt the price was reasonable for the job being performed. Also they came out the same day I called to work on our ac. I will be using both primo and comfort air for a long long time.

Jeff Pierce arrived on schedule. He listened to my long-winded explanation patiently and then after asking where the unit was located, set to work. In short order, Jeff located the cause of the malfunction and made the necessary repairs.Upon completion of the work, Jeff explained his troubleshooting process and actions taken in a language I could understand.Before departing, Jeff explained the warranty status of the unit and any potential future charges that I may experience.

Professional with integrity. From the technicians to management, they provide me with the information needed to make the decisions necessary. Their service is superb. They are responsive and on time.

I wish they gave me a coupon or something for my review like other service companies, but I feel compelled to write one anyway as this is the 3rd HVAC repair company I have tried in San Antonio and they were by far the best. I won't say the other companies names but I tried one of the biggest companies in SA the first time and a company run by one man the second time. The tech I called from the big company cussed in front of me, bad mouthed the home inspector, and charged me around $400 to replace a $20 part that ultimately needed to be replaced a few months later as they didn't diagnose the issue correctly. The guy that runs his own company wasn't friendly at all and when I asked him questions about what he was soldering/brazing he seemed offended and instead of answering my question told me that I was free to inspect his work after he was done (I was interested because I tried to do the repair myself and couldn't, so I wanted to see how the professionals did it). The techs from Comfort Air took the time to explain everything and they were friendly. They also got to my house very quickly. Oh, and the dispatcher was nice as well. After my first two experiences I was legitimately convinced that the HVAC repair industry was a total scam but you guys have restored my faith. Thank you!!!!

So it was Saturday, 4 hours before family was due for our early Christmas party, and I had a pretty serious plumbing issue. My usual plumber was out of town but his company recommended Primo, so I called, and got a quick response. The service technician (Mitchell) was professional, polite but best of all, very knowledgeable! He had the plumbing up and running and my Christmas party was only delayed for just under an hour. Big plus, the cost was reasonable.I highly recommend Primo!

The plumbers they sent over were awesome. Friendly, professional, VERY competent. They fixed multiple problems I was having, with kitchen sink, fridge water, bathroom sink, washer dryer...in speed time. I'll definitely be calling this company next time I have any issues.

Primo sent out an apprentice named Marshall. I was impressed with his knowledge and ability to replace our broken pipe in the yard. He was willing to answer all my questions and he had it done in no time at all. Thank you Primo, you are my new plumbers forever :)

Our water softener broke and flooded our water lines with salt. Keith and Zach got to our home quickly and cleared the lines while also explaining what was going on. We hired them to return and replace our water softener and they were quick and professional! This is a great company and these are some great guys! One more great experience with this company. My issue was not easy to diagnose, but my tech spent the required time to figure it out. Primo Plumbing came to my house as an emergency on Saturday night. My hot water heater was leaking water...everywhere!They were amazing! They fixed it within the hour and did not charge me an arm and a leg. I would recommend them to EVERYONE! I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday night and Paul was amazing. He talked me through the service, and even took the time to clean up the bathroom like it never even happened. Comfort Air Engineering did a great job installing my mini split AC system. Lots of communication...they were on time (a day early actually) and was a very clean installation. Very happy with the job!

We could not be happier with the service provided by Zach and Mitchel, with Primo Plumbing. They were professional, assessed the situation and fixed the plumbing problem that was creating a major leak in the backyard! We previously contacted another plumbing company (Elite Plumbing) and they said to contact a septic tank service. We contacted a septic tank service and they said contact a plumber! Happy to say Primo Plumbing solved the problem!

We used Comfort-Air last year when our air conditioner went out and they were able to get it back up and running without trying to sell us a new unit. We had them back out again this year for a different problem and was pleased to learn they could fix it for a reasonable price. I know that we will have to replace our main unit at some point. When we do, we will be calling Comfort-Air. They are responsive and professional with reasonable pricing.

Technician was on time & informative! UV light was still good even though system stated “replace”. He suggested we keep the replacement bulb next to the unit for the next time it really needs to be changed! Happy with the service!

Chris and Holly showed up and immediately found the hot water line that had the leak in it. They capped it off and restored hot water to part of the house. They were very quick and professional about the job and explained the entire process to me. Less than a week later they came back and finished running the reroute line in the attic. Simply, the best. I am not a price shopper, I look for value over the long haul; after all these systems last 10 -15 years +. After shopping around, we stayed with Comfort-Air. Although we have been using them for years (decades?), it pays to be careful, especially with a complete system replacement. Comfort-Air did not disappoint. On time for both arrival and finish, no $urprise$ and unit is delivering what was promised and then some. What more could you ask for?

Had fall service/inspection today with Bill THE MARINE (Thank you for your service to our country) who was very knowledgeable of my Infinity System, friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to meet him & I will request him for future checks. Comfort Air installed & has serviced my system for 12 years now. I know I can trust them & they have always given great service. Thanks to all & a special thanks to Eric Randall who always makes sure everything is top notch and done right.What we all dread happened last night... My AC quit putting out cool air ?! Inside the unit was blowing warm air. I checked the settings on the digital thermostat & temp was rising ?. The fan was not moving on the unit outside ?. I shut the unit off & spent a hot July night waiting to call COMFORT-AIR ENGINEERING @ 8 AM. They installed my unit & have done my fall & spring checks & have made repairs when needed. I am on the GOLD PLAN, as my 2004 installed unit is likely to have issues at this stage of the game. I get discounted service calls & discount on repairs ?! My 8 AM on the dot call was answered courteously & I explained my problem. I was told I would get a call back in a few minutes & that is exactly what happened & I was told a Tech would be headed my way ?. BEN R. came & was very professional & offered his condolences ?. He went right to work, diagnosed & fixed my problem (capacitor) & made sure everything else was okay. A second capacitor looked on its way to failing sooner rather than later & he replaced that, with my OK ?. Everything was done in about 45 min & cool was coming out of my vents inside ?!! PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING and THE BEST SERVICE WHEN YOU NEED IT! THANK YOU COMFORT-AIR ENGINEERING INC!! You've got a customer for life!!

Our circulating water pump quit working. The Primo Plumbing technician quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and installed the part. We now have rapid hot water again. We could not be happier with our experience with Primo Plumbing.

I live in an old condo which has numerous water shut-offs during the year. These shut-offs result in limestone residue in the pipes to break loose and clog the water pipes. Primo Plumbing specialist came and inspected my shower which barely had water pressure. The specialist examined the plumbing fixtures and determined that the whole shower assemble needed to be removed and cleaned out. This amounted to a lot of work from behind the shower wall. They removed the shower assemble and cleaned out the manifold and fixed my water flow issue. It is so pleasing to have water pressure again and to have a balanced hot/cold water flow. Thanks for taking the time to do the job correctly.

Technician Diego did an excellent job, both with the care and craftsmanship of his work AND his courtesy in explaining everything he did. We've been taking ALL of our HVAC work to Comfort Air for over 20 years now. Less than two yrs ago, that relationship also included the purchase/installation of a completely new Carrier Infinity system along with an upstairs HVAC system AND a ductless mini-split unit in a special room (3 units in total). There's a reason why we've been so loyal: Comfort Air just takes care of its business they you want them to, with class and professionalism.

I have trusted Comfort-Air with maintaining my home HVAC system at peak performance for many years. They have never disappointed me. I get a (1) Fall and (2) Spring check every year to ensure my system is ready for the colder and hotter weather seasons. These guys are awesome. The field techs are extremely professional, they don't try to up sell you either. I did have a issue at first with the tech needing to come back out and he said that he or someone else would be back out that next morning and no one showed up. I contacted the service manager and not only did he have people out there within a few hours he also came out apologized and made sure we were okay, stuck around with the crew until the job was done. Really?! Who does that anymore?? Comfort air does..These guys set the gold standard for customer service. There techs are also well trained, professional, personable, and efficient.

Our AC unit broke down and we were without AC for 3 days. Comfort Air not only identified the problem in less than 5 minutes (when a previous company quoted us $500+ to fix), but they also did a fantastic job replacing our unit with a brand new one! They found several problems with the prior repairs and fixed them without being asked to do so. They did a marvelous job, I highly recommend them for anyone in need of any assistance! Kudos!

Chris and Doug arrived on time to install a new water heater. They were professional, courteous and efficient. They took the time to explain the new water heater and answered all my questions.

Chris Andrews and a helper (I hope she forgives me, I forgot her name) came to my house to install a pressure reducing valve (prv) and an expansion tank. They arrived and got right to work. Wow! I can’t say enough good about this company! We’ve had a lot of AC repair people in and out of here, some that we thought were good. These guys blew everyone else away with their professionalism! We needed our whole unit replaced and the guys worked like dogs for 3 days straight, always keeping us informed, always being respectful, and supervisors coming each day to check on things. A job well done. I needed relief from the heat. A schedule for an AC replacement was quickly developed and was met exactly as planned. The installation team was friendly and courteous, obviously well trained and highly skilled. After they were gone the only evidence that they had been to my home was the cool comfort of the new system. Even with consideration given to the expense I can say it was a pleasant experience.

Daniel and his team re-worked my a/c in the guest bedroom so it is now on its own zone. The master and guest rooms were on the same zone causing temperature conflicts. After Comfort air came out and re-worked the ducts, we now are on separate zones and it works wonderfully!

I made the huge mistake of buying a new system from another company. In less than a month the new system stopped working. I called comfort air and a young and very efficient technician named Diego diagnosed the problem. The new unit was overloading and tripping the breaker. He was able to repair it immediately. Comfort Air is a little higher than most AC companies but they are worth it. The technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend them.

Settle in, this is going to be lengthy, but worth it. On a Saturday night our AC stopped blowing cold air and it hit 80 INSIDE the house by 330am. We changed the filters, collected our pupper and left for the day (about 1030a). We came back around 7p to an 86 degree, 1638sqft home. We are first time homeowners in our new home for just about a month. Our inspection went well, they only recommended a general service call for the unit. We hadn't gotten around to that yet and we won’t make that mistake again (Thanks to Comfort-Air... just hang on, I'm getting there). We had called our Home Warranty people that Sunday morning but it soon became clear that we weren’t going to have a functioning AC unit until Wednesday. Needless to say we didn’t stay home that night. I had requested HVAC recommendations on Facebook and as they started flooding in, I started taking notes and took matters into my own hands. I called a few places, checked trip charges, fees, availability - the norm. I narrowed it down to Comfort Air and someone else. The 'someone else' didn’t work out. When I had originally spoken to Sara at Comfort-Air, she was extremely helpful and EMPATHETIC (that was a nice change of pace). She explained all kind of things to me and ultimately, because of that, we chose Comfort-Air. When I called back and spoke to Amberlee, she was awesome as well!! She ran down what would happen, what to expect, how long it should take and what would happen if they needed a part. They both listened to what I was saying - ACTUALLY listened; I didn’t have to repeat info later. Both Ladies weren’t just helpful with our existing issue, we even signed up for their Maintenance Plan. It’s probably the best deal I have EVER heard of. For ONLY $195 A YEAR ( A YEAR!!!!!) they come out and do TWO service calls for general upkeep/maintenance (Spring maint/Fall maint). As we all know, proper maintenance of anything makes it last longer and work properly. If I can pay Amazon $120 a year for free shipping then this is a no brainer. This even includes two pounds of Freon per year (Per unit, I believe but you should ask Sara, Amberlee or Laurie). If you need a service call, this maintenance plan WAIVES their service fee!! ($90.00 as of 06/27/18) When the technician arrived to do the work, he was knowledgeable, respectful, worked with a sense of urgency but efficiently. He talked us through the whole thing in laymen’s terms. He wasn't in and out of the house 10 times checking one thing or another, making it HOTTER in the house. He did his evaluation of each component, determined the issue and resolved it. He even stuck around for another 15 minutes to MAKE SURE it was working properly. It was so nice to see a person take pride it what they are doing and represent their company so well, and under pretty hot working conditions (I did give him ice water while he was working and a snack for the road). Ultimately, call Comfort-Air. It was the best decision I could have made. HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to our Serviceman Maziarj, and to the ladies in the office who put up with my panic. HAHA! Purchased maintenance plan in May 2020. The contractor serviced my unit which stopped working a week later. I had it repaired by another company and it now works well. I called Primo/Comfort Air to cancel the winter maintenance services canceled and my money refunded. I was told that the check will be sent to me. After calling for the 3rd time, I have concluded that this company will not return my money. It is now August 2020. This business does not value their clients, especially disabled military veterans.

I was disappointed with the communication between the salesman and me. I had to call him to ascertain that the day we had scheduled for the work to begin was still as planned. He came by the day the technicians were finishing to check on things. I asked about financing and he said I should have mentioned that 2 days earlier. I was not made to feel that my business was important. On the other hand, Jason, the technician who installed the equipment, was extremely informative. He told me what to expect and his crew did a very good job-polite, neat, knowledgeable.

Comfort-Air sent a very competent two-man team to handle our plumbing issue. They were professional and diligent. When they started to hit an issue late in the day, being short the parts needed to complete the job, the owner of the company showed up and personally ran out to get the parts needed. The job was done in 5 hours. A job other companies had pondered on for a month but made no progress.Top notch work by top notch people. Well worth the money.

Dad is long retired, but Comfort Air is a good old fashioned, honest, and terrific company. My A/C went out on Saturday night at 6 pm. They had me back to the cool by 8 pm! Yes, on a Saturday! And Travis, the service tech was a very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable gentleman, just like everyone I have dealt with there. Thank you again Comfort Air.

We are in the process of adding on 1700 sf to our 6000 sf veterinary clinic and retained Comfort-Air Engineering to design our rather unique HVAC requirements as well as electric and plumbing. I met with the principal engineer and he was quite responsive to our unusual air conditioning needs and completed the adjustments needed in a timely manner. We have a very busy practice with a very compartmentalized building and many closed doors,very heavy hair and lint load, and large numbers of people in fairly small spaces with heavy heat load from time to time in certain areas. I feel like he addressed our unique needs in a very professional manner. I would recommend them highly.

Comfort Air replaced all my A/C units in September of 2014 and we had an issue in November of 2015 with a kinked drain line. It caused some damage to the unit. Even though the warranty was out because it was 1 year old Comfort Air stood behind the unit and fixed it at no charge to the Dealership. Saturday morning of the Memorial Day weekend we had a plumbing problem. The sewer line was clogged and water was backing up ... Nasty! I called Primo Plumbing and they had a plumber at my home in about 90 minutes. He put a long snake down the line and got rid of the clog. Sunday morning the same thing happened again. I called Primo Plumbing and a plumber was at the house within one hour. He used the snake again and this time cleared it well. We checked the sewer flow and it is draining well.The response on a weekend is one thing but to have that quick a response on a holiday weekend is superb.I commend them greatly.

Incredibly rude people that come out to your house during weekdays. My neighbor and I both use them and every time they come the block not only the driveway but the entire curb around our houses. Once I stood outside for 10 minutes holding my trashcan in my driveway as the man looked at me and did paper work. I had to actually ask him to move his car. Not to mention they take FOREVER when performing a service. Something that should take half an hour tops takes almost twice that. The service man who works during the week is extremely rude. I recommend if possible you ask for a weekend service. The person who came out on Saturday (Josh) was much more kind and quick then the person I have dealt with on weekdays.

Primo Plumbing was GREAT. I had company coming in and needed them to come to our home that day. Since i live in Boerne that is not always easy. Primo made it happen and fixed all my minor problems within an hour. I SO APPRECIATE all the work they did. They were courteous and kind. Thanks PRIMO

We bought a platinum maintenance checkup program (this covers weekend calls)with Comfort Air. We even bought our current unit with them just in 2010. We had been loyal customers since 2006. We called them Friday afternoon because our AC was not working at all. The tech showed up at my house at 9:30 pm and didn't leave until 11:45 pm just to tell me that he couldn't do anything because Comfort Air needed to order a new compressor for our unit our unit is only 3 years old. The service manager for Comfort Air called me the next day (Saturday) just to tell me that he agreed with the tech that checked our unita NEW COMPRESSOR is needed and will be ordered Monday morning. The compressor was going to be under warranty, however, labor and Freon was at our cost. We decided that we've had enough with Comfort Air techssince every time that they came to do the bi-annual check up a few weeks later something happened with our unit. We decided to call another ac business to get a 2nd opinion (on a sunday). The 2nd opinion was to our surprise a much better responsethe unit only needed Freon. The honest and accurate gentlemen added the Freon and checked for leaks. Once all was repaired the a/c is now working perfectlyNO NEED FOR A NEW COMPRESSOR and added labor expense....Overall--MisleadingQuality--DisappointedService--DisappointedValue--Disappointed

Had these guys install an entire ac/furnace system. My old ac system was 20 years old and some of the duct work needed replacing too. Everything is in working order and system works BUT they left a huge hole open into the ceiling. The furnace/ac pipes up to the ceiling but all around it, is just an open hole that allows the hot air in the attic into the house. The small closet with the ac/furnace has now grown mold and I feel that their install job was rushed with little regard to customer full satisfaction .

Just had Daniel E. revive my 21 year old air conditioning unit! He diagnosed the problem very quickly and explained, in terms a layman could understand, what needed to be done. Service was good and our technician was thorough. The 3 stars is a result of them cancelling my 8am appointment without letting me know. I waited from 8-10am and when I called I was informed that they had called the day before and left a message to confirm (this message said nothing about cancelling appt if not confirmed). Since I did not, they cancelled my appointment. Maybe they are not aware that 80% of the messages people receive from unsaved numbers today are scams and robocalls. So, I did not get this message in a timely manner. If this is their practice, to cancel appts that are not confirmed, I would suggest a second way of connecting with clients. Email or text maybe? Maybe a second call in the AM prior to cancelling? At least that gives the client a fair chance to confirm appt.
