TCR was awesome! They came out fast, were on time and quickly got the job done correctly. They not only fixed the plumbing issue but also left a very clean work area and a cleanly cut out wall that will now be much easier to patch. Highly recommend! Thanks Kiko!

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

Corey is very knowledgeable about plumbing and is a pleasure to have as a plumber. He replaced our kitchen faucet and then we had him come back to fix additional plumbing issues related to our dishwasher. His background in dishwasher installation and kitchen installation was a plus for our older home.

Fuller Services Plumber
I am so happy with the service and work that Fuller Services provided for me. I lined up a different plumber and he completely blew me off. I was in a bind and Fuller Services came out the next day. The owner stayed late the first night to make sure I had a working sink in my kitchen. Then came back the next day, put my whole kitchen back together, and made sure I understood how everything worked. Their communication was great, the work was perfect, and I will definitely be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future!

Air Experts Heating & Cooling Plumber
I've had intermittent problems turning on my heat for the past 6 weeks-yes during the snow and ice, and had called a couple different service companies out. The first company wanted me to buy a new unit (mine is only about 9yrs old) and then they wanted to charge me 800. to replace a board that I was able to purchase on line for 150. The second company, came out and it had happened to kick on that day after being out for about 3 snow days, said they couldn't diagnose it when it was working-that cost me 90. Then it was out again and started making a whining noise if I tried to turn it on, I was hesitant to call the other companies or anyone else, so we went without for a few weeks. My neighbor recommended air experts, so I called them and was very pleased and satisfied. They sent Curtis to work on my gas pack, he arrived quickly, was very polite and was very thourough servicing my heater. He opened it up to inspect it and make sure everything on the unit looked fine. He told me what he was doing as I watched him work, and he found there were a few wires that had come disconnected. He fixed them up and everything is now warm and toasty in the house.Thank-you! That was back in 2016-have been with air experts since, had to purchase a new unit they installed it and their service text to come out for the maintenance every six months are fantastic! Polite and friendly, and very knowledgeable and thorough

Plumbing Services of Raleigh Plumber
I saw excellent reviews about David on Next Door and called him to fix a leaky faucet. He came to my home that night a fixed it quickly at a minimum charge. I recently needed to exchange a bath and shower with a new walk-in shower without having to pay for an expensive re modeling job. He came by the week I called, took measurements, and had the job done by the next week. The shower is just what I wanted. He was always courteous and knows plumbing. I trust him to get the job done right and confidently recommend him.

Given quote via phone for water heater installation. When they came out to my house for inspection, quote was significantly increased. Stated they were not aware of the type and size of my water heater. Don’t understand how a company can be in plumbing business for so long and not be aware of the importance of gathering all pertinent info prior to giving a quote to their customer. Such a waste of my time going back and forth with them when I could have already had water heater installed by a company who was efficient in giving appropriate quotes.

I would recommend this company because they provide excellent service and quality of work which were all completed in a timely manner. We had a lot of plumbing issues that were not caught on inspection and Mr. Sammy did a walk through of the property and he was able to identify several cracked pipes and issues not to code. He responds to emergencies and took care of our issues with care and friendliness. The amount of plumbing fixes on our house showcases the company’s breadth of plumbing services so I would not hesitate to call them again.

CK's Plumbing & Backflow, LLC Plumber
We bought a home and hired CK's to remove all poly pipe and replace with pex prior to us moving in.

Background/Who I am
I worked in the construction industry for 10 years and went to school for carpentry for 3 years. Am I plumber, nope, that is why I hired them. I am however familiar with the construction business and understand how difficult it can be to make sure your crew does a good job and keeps your client happy. I was a concrete foreman for 4 of those years.

Synopsis/recommendation
1. The crew left trash all over the place both outside and in a closet upstairs (see photos, but not a deal breaker for me)
2. The crew didn't put the insulation in the crawl space back after removing it to work. (see photos, but again not a deal breaker)
3. Our contract states that they were suppose to replace the tub faucets with new ones. They did not arrive with a roman faucet so I had to purchase it day of and then was told it would be additional cost of $350 to install it. Here is where our problems began. Not only was the replacement faucet itself suppose to be included in the estimate, but the labor was as well. I was frustrated, but not in the mood to argue with the crew over this. Ultimately, I realized the foreman and myself could resolve this issue after the install.

The turning point/deal breakers
The crew returned to clean up their trash and replace the insulation. The foreman met me an hour or so before his crew came back to clean up and apologize. 'No harm, no foul,' I said; 'I get it; it was late they probably wanted to get home, no worries.' When the foreman arrived, I just began to put a coat of finish on the hardwood floors that I was refinishing prior to us moving in. I specifically told him that 'I was putting this coat on and leaving so tell his guys not to worry about the drywall upstairs; I'll take care of it.'

4. His crew arrived and cleaned the trash up outside. They rang my Ring video doorbell. I did not answer because I was driving back to our rental home. I apparently left the garage door open. CK's crew entered my home without my permission, with no one there and took four steps onto my still drying finish and ruined it. (See photos, this was a deal breaker for me).
5. I spoke to the foreman; he came out and looked at the boot prints in the floor's finish. At first, he apologized and said he wanted to make it right. He asked how much it would be to redo the floors. That's a tough question because I did them so it isn't like I could tell him well we paid x. I told him for me to rerent the machines, pay for the sandpaper, and get another gallon of finish it would cost me $600-800. My time though isn't figured into this. It would take me at least 2-3 days to remove the finish and re-finish them again. Days I did not have. For my time and inconvenience, I didn't really have a reasonable answer to how much. Up until this point they were reasonable so I said, why don't you talk to the owner and ask him what he thinks is reasonable.
6. The crew cut swiss holes everywhere in the house and I understand they needed to cut holes but look at the extra work that was added. (see photos)

Ultimately, the Foreman came back and said the owner was willing to take off $800, but ONLY AFTER THEY CHARGED ME AN ADDITIONAL $350/ faucet install. Essentially, the owner of CK credited us $450. At this point, the story had changed and the foreman began to question whether his guys were the ones who stepped on the floor. My wife, gotta love her, pointed out that her 5' 6 husband does not wear a men's size 14 boot IT WAS 100% CK.

I've called and attempted to reason with them. They stopped returning my calls and sent the bill.

Where we are now, I've paid the bill and am handing this to my lawyer. I hoped prior to filing my lawsuit the company might read this review and reach out to resolve this dispute outside of court,

6. As I began to patch the drywall, I found abandon poly pipes that were to be removed (see photos).
7. One hose fixture is broke and the other one is leaking (see photos).

Plumber was nice, he was on time. Job was way over priced. I should have declined job. 641 dollars I spent to change garbage disposal. he wouldn’t go down on the price I had them Change emergency valve and it cheaper than this job. Very very disappointed. I feel cheated. I can’t recommend this company unless they lower prices on jobs.

The tankless water heater in my 5 year old home has had intermittent ignition problems since the first year. The Plumbing company the contractor used did not install the system properly and has been a problem and expense. Sam from Matthews Plumbing Solutions spotted the error in seconds, corrected the install problem in a few hours and I am confident we will not have failures in the future. I have found the Plumber and the Company I will be doing business with in the future. Thank you Sam and Matt.

Progressive Service Company Plumber
Outstanding service! Clint promptly responded to my initial emergency call after my pipes burst. He was in Savannah all they way from Wilmington, NC. He quickly discovered the source of the leak (unfortunately, it was under a 4-in concrete slab).Clint and Christian were both highly knowledgeable, personable, and extremely hard-working. This was a huge job--a full re-piping, front to back, of a 2700 sq ft home. They worked 7:30 am to after 9 pm most days, in 100 degree attic temperatures and outside, to get it all done in less than 5 days, even with a full day and a half delay for inspection. Clint helped me tremendously with detailed information my insurance company needed.Huge help also from Scott, in the Savannah office, on the final days and for the final inspection. Great job. All top-notch professionals! So glad I called Progressive.
